The food is always of a high standard but the service is chaotic! The cafe is usually busy but often appears understaffed. Usually one person taking orders and another making drinks but sometimes one person doing everything. Often difficult to find a cleared table to sit and then you wait for anything that needs heating or cooking. One person waiting tables can spend valuable time wandering the floor looking for a designated number to deliver the prepared food. Then they return to the kitchen to repeat the activity and if sauce is required then further delays ensue. Staff are helpful and friendly difficult to say whether this cafe is understaffed or mismanaged.

I'm utterly disappointed with the service. I've purchased two surprise bags on 'Too good to go' app to be collected tonight 19:00–19:30. Sadly, the drive took much longer than anticipated, and I was late a few minutes. The employee present at the store simply ignored me and continued on with her 'cleaning' while happily chatting with a friend and after a few minutes started to pack all the pastries and leftover food and passed it to her friend who was leisurely sitting inside and clearly not a member of the staff. It's a very unprofessional behaviour and stark favouring from the employee proves how this branch treats customers and why it has numerous low reviews.

Reservé Piccadilly Whip para la fiesta de la Sagrada Comunión de Tia en mayo y creo que dejé muy claros los requisitos de mi reserva. Pedí específicamente conos de helado para atender a 50 personas. Me cotizaron un precio total de £ 150 para esto, a lo que accedí y transferí un depósito de £ 50 inmediatamente. El día del evento llegó una camioneta de helados y la señora que servía le preguntó a mi hija si le gustaría un cono o sundae. Supuse que como ella había preguntado abiertamente esto, los sundae estaban incluidos en el precio acordado originalmente. Una vez servida mi hija me fui y regresé adentro. Después de unos minutos me di cuenta de que los huéspedes regresaban de la furgoneta con varios helados, piruletas y granizados diferentes. Cuando pregunté esto con los invitados me informaron que la señora que servía les daba a elegir. No cuestioné esto, ya que supuse que al ser una empresa que había tomado un pedido muy claro y como me habían dado un precio fijo por un servicio, el funcionario habría sido informado de los detalles de la reserva. Cuando volví afuera para ver a los invitados vi a la señora sirviendo ofrecerle un granizado a un niño indeciso. Me acerqué a pagar el saldo de £ 100 como se acordó y me sorprendió ver que el saldo había aumentado a £ 202. Cuando pregunté esto, la señora me dijo abiertamente que le habían dado instrucciones de “darles lo que pidan”. Luego me dieron el teléfono para hablar con alguien de Piccadilly Whip que era nada menos que grosero y condescendiente, incluso declarando que me había hecho un favor (a pesar del hecho de que mi reserva y depósito original fue tomado) por alguien que asistiera a la fiesta en absoluto, ya que en realidad estaban reservados. Resulta que la furgoneta que estaba en mi propiedad no era de Piccadilly Whip y era otra empresa que había sido arreglado y claramente no informado de los detalles de la reserva. Después de unos minutos y nada más que excusas quedó claro que la conversación no llegaría a un resultado amistoso y no tuve más remedio que pagar el saldo aumentado. Como no me había preparado para desembolsar £ 100 adicionales en efectivo y no tener dinero en efectivo en la casa, entonces tuve que dar la vuelta y pedir a los invitados de la fiesta dinero en efectivo, que era absolutamente mortificante 😩 A pesar de hacer una queja formal a Piccadilly Whip no he recibido una disculpa, mucho menos un reembolso o cualquier otro gesto de buena voluntad por lo que claramente fue una mierda por su parte. Ciertamente no volveré a usarlos en el futuro y recomendaría a cualquier otra persona que busque un servicio de helados que busque en otro lugar!

Awful. We had breakfast here this morning snd what a waste. Was so looking forward to it. Firstly I picked up 5 mugs for coffee and everyone was very badly chipped. One coffee was cold Bacon was hard and cold, mushroom tasteless, egg solid, hash browns had a funny taste - sausages looked cremated but tasted ok. Won’t be returning

Visited with the grand kids 1st huffing and puffing from staff, then talking so quietly I couldn't hear, then brought wrong food out chips were really hot and sausage was luke warmand basically couldn't be bothered won't be spending my money there again

We had our son's birthday pizza and milkshakes here for a party of 16 as part of the golf bundle package. It was excellent. The staff were super-helpful, the food was spot on and the location is great. Very good value too. Highly recommended.

Mega breakfast was top class. Served in minutes and tasted epic. Will call again. Very friendly staff.

The venti iced latte coffee was excellent here yesterday and the solo server was a cheerful and welcoming chap (somewhat surprisingly) as he is about to become unemployed as this branch is closing today. I heard him explain to customers that the landlord has increased the rent but the franchisee decided not to pay and pulled the plug. He was explaining this as I was negotiating reaching the counter through packed boxes of Starbucks inventory on the floor. packed up for removal so the cafe was soulless. As well as coffee I noticed they sold cheese bites. Now these aren't available in Northern Ireland so I asked for the cheese & ham to try them (they offer another type but I can't remember as I didn't want that one anyway) so I got the last portion £3.3. They are like mini omelettes enhanced with tasty cheese and they were pleasant enough but I won't buy any more - too pricy and not punchy tasting enough for a snack. We arrived in this town as a first. Never been before and as it's an ancient town we decided on it as a base to explore and to return to Avebury and Bath. The place is in a sorry state with lots of businesses shut and in terms of takeaway places most wanted cash. There no late night shopping either as at 6pm it largely shuts down. I noted that this area voted for Brexit and succeeded in contributing to make this country poorer. It's Tory controlled for now and maybe that won’t change. Like many English places we visited this trip it's not car friendly with double yellow lines everywhere so at least the road paint seller did well. Not one street had disabled parking space yellow lines for miles even into residential areas. There's little sign of any upturn here about, with mortgages going through the roof, thanks to an incompetent government that managed to squander about 80 billion pounds in about 40 hours which is an odd, very expensive thing for them to do, as their still lauded, former (now deceased) leader said in the 1980’s ya can’t buck the markets. She got that right. And as the folks of this town can see, they got what they voted for. It will always be thus. Bye bye Starbucks. Next....

Notice there haven't been any reviews here for some years. When we visited in July 2023 the menu consisted of three choices of pannini filling and some "tray bakes" that looked like they had been sitting around for a while. That was it. We ordered pannini. Although we chose to sit down to eat they arrived in a brown paper bag. Although we were the only people in the cafe it took some time for them to be microwaved and they got one order wrong. I don't think I've ever had such poor quality food. The pannini were just rolls with some lines on top and the fillings were sparce and unpleasant. And these cost us £6 each. They should either put the effort in to make this a good place to meet and eat or throw in the towel and just have a vending machine; they'd probably make more money.

Went for coffee last week and discovered that this cafe had closed down. It must have closed within the last few weeks. Always thought that it was quite popular.

We rented the karaoke room for a teenager’s party and it was great. Good room tucked away w a decent choice of music on a Lucky Voice system. The staff were very helpful with booking arrangements (letting us come early to decorate and bring our own cake) and very helpful and friendly at the party. We had chips and wings which were tasty and love the fried pickles. And the adults had some good cocktails downstairs in the main bar area. It’s a really good spot. Perfect for a party or just a drink. Go there!

This place get worse every day. Yesterday Sainsbury's delivered me vodka with tag. I gave it back. Today I go to Sainsbury's to buy vodka instead not delivered and couple more things. In shelv were food run out of use by 06/02/24 date -yesterday. Food ere in reduced price shelve but price wasn't reduced. I added photo

Fui a la cafetería después de hacer compras con mi pareja y su madre. Compró 2 baguette de pavo. no comprar Cubrieron todo el lote en salsa. La baguette estaba empapada. Incluso tienes un pequeño bote de salsa, lo que para mí no no. No deberían ponerle salsa si te dan una salsera llena de salsa. Vergüenza, ya que se veía bien en la imagen detrás del mostrador. Se cubrió de salsa. Nunca más.
