Not a good experience at Knights, Chelsham. We had toasties that were barely warm, they left off a coffee from the order, which the staff were joking about between themselves. On top of this its not cheap!! Think twice before you visit!!

One of the staff members was complaining loudly to her two other colleagues about another staff member. She also swore about them whilst a young girl was waiting to be served in front of her. Negative, unwelcoming and unprofessional- I will not go there again

Dry scone, worst tasting scones ever just crumbled. Won't be back in a hurry. Noisy and dirty, only 1 person serving. Very expensive.

I told you you’d be skint by Christmas. Next time your dad throws tens of thousands at you for a business at least have the brains to not treat your punters like they’re not welcome. Also, there’s a time and a place for flirting with each other fellas.

When you ask for something to be made, or if there is no items on the shelves an you ask if they have any. There simply rude abrupt and it seems to be a task or challenge in the Alloa store, to make this item up for you, Your always met with a sour face with the two older women,I actually presume one off the older lady’s to be the manager, all I can say, she has some face on it!! She’s absolutely disgustingly rude, she definitely is only there hanging on to retire. But her behaviour is atrocious The atmosphere in the store is dreadful and half past 12 there is no fresh baguettes on the shelf’s so I asked if there could be one made I was simply told no they can not at this time, There no one person in the que, I will be making an offical complaint about the women, next time am in store, I will sure be sure to take note of her name, She has to go

Run by the Salvation Army the cafe sits near the olympic cycle track. There are tables inside and some comfy sofas though there's no air conditioning so it can get very warm indoors. Wooden picnic tables outside have plenty of options for families with children and dog walkers. The menu is very limited, basically hot and cold drinks, breakfast rolls with a choice of bacon or sausage, pies, pasties, chips, sausage rolls, sandwiches and some pastries. The breakfast bundle is good value at £5 for a breakfast roll and any hot drink. The service is extremely slow but as there's only one pay serving and pay point it's down to the speed of the staff and the amount people are ordering. Between our party we had a steak pasty, a vegetarian pasty, chips and sausage in a roll. The pasties are a good size, chips were plentiful and there were two sausages in the bread roll. Pretty good value and everything tasted very good. I noticed a flyer advertising live music on some evenings with a £2 donation entry fee. I'd happily visit again as we weren't in a rush and enjoyed the lovely sunshine with our food and drinks. The coffee options were good quality.

First visit to this site previously been to Walshaw road which has always been great. Ordered an iced latte, cortado and a club sandwich. Staff member on til friendly and helpful hence the two stars. Iced latte was ok, cortado arrived as a latte, club sandwich had a slice of sandwich turkey cold with green flecks, I’m assuming it had a herb coating, bacon was lukewarm with unrendered fat and at £9 the worst sandwich I’ve ever been served. At £18 the cost is comparable to all others in area but not anywhere near the same quality.

We had been shopping in the What store and noticed they had a cafe so gave it a go. It's easily reached from the ground floor by escalator or lift and is very spacious with lots of comfy seating. There is a fairly extensive menu with some unusual things on it like fish finger butty etc. We settled on the sausage, chips, peas and gravy and Vegetable Burger with chips and salad. Both meals were really nice, the gravy especially and my Vegetable burger was lovely tasting in a large fresh bun also with cheese and mushroom inside. We had a bottle of coke and a cup of tea and the whole lot came to £13 which was good value for what we had. The staff were friendly and chatty and our drinks were brought over to us within a couple of minutes and food the food after about 10 mins. Will certainly visit again.

Stopped for a quick lunch on way home from holiday. Ordered salad because menu said it included radish, which I am particularly keen on. Mentioned to waitress (counter service has ceased, presumably because of Covid!) that I wanted radish. However, there was no radish in the salad. The waitress did not come back to the table after serving the meal to ask if everythin was all right so after finishing the meal I went up to the food preparation area to ask whether they actually had radish. Yes, they did have radish! So why does this restaurant (in common with other restaurants so I have found) feel it acceptable to leave out ingredients specified on the menu). Is it laziness or what?

‘Cocktails’ and I use the description loosely from a pump. The ladies toilets were absolutely disgusting, filthy dirty. Wouldn’t recommend or return.
