I've been using Cosalea Brandlesholme as somewhere to work from over the past few months as it beats working at home. The staff are always extremely pleasant, polite and helpful. I'm a massive fan of the flat whites and the breakfast wrap (or breakfast crumpets or cheesy beans on toast) Never an issue with service and cleanliness

We’ve only visited this Cosalea once before and it’s wasn’t great but we thought we’d give it another go. £40 later, I wish we hadn’t bothered. There were three of us at our table and only one other person in the place, yet the food took 40 minutes to arrive. The vegetarian breakfast, which we’ve ordered many times at the Walshaw Cosalea, was disappointing to say the least. The food was very bland and inedible other than the eggs. The full English breakfast fared better, although the sausages were burnt and the black coffee was very weak. The chicken club sandwich wasn’t a club. It was chicken & bacon on a ciabatta which was so over cooked and hard that it was impossible to eat. I opted for water to drink as the last coffee that I’d had here was almost see-through, despite asking for it to be strong. The only saving grace was that the side order of chips was really good. They were crispy and tasty. Nobody came to ask if everything was ok, so we had no opportunity to offer feedback. By the time we were ready to leave, the chef and both girls who had served had left, leaving just one man at the till As he hadn’t served us or been there when the food arrived, and as this was the second time that we’d had a bad experience, I thought that a tripadvisor review was called for. I was interested to see that a similarly negative review has also been reported within the last couple of weeks - with no response from Cosalea. So, if you’re happy to wait a long time for bland, overcooked food, this is the place for you. Or you could always just plump for a bowl of chips and a glass of water. How two sister cafes can be so wildly differing in the quality of food, I am not sure. One thing I am sure of, though, is that we won’t be back.

Didn't want to write a poor review, but after several poor experiences I had to. Most recently we went for Sunday lunch, which took nearly an hour to arrive, and when it did the yorkshire puddings were burnt to a crisp and was served with the driest mash potato I've ever tasted. They didn't have any condiments and had to call the other restaurant to send them over (needless to say we had finished by the time they did). To top it all it cost nearly 60 pounds for 2 adult and 2 children's Sunday roasts. I really didn't have the energy to ask for anything off it as after waiting so long I just wanted to get home, but I am surprised at the standards given they feel it is acceptable to serve visibly burnt food. Shame as we live close by, and I want to see local businesses thrive, but after giving them the benefit of the doubt on more than one occasion, felt some feedback was required.

I shop here every week and as I have to wait for my daughter to finish shopping I would sit on one of the benches at the tills. These have been removed and there is nowhere for an elderly person to sit and wait. Please return these benches. Everything else is great shopping at asda pilsworth

I visited this place while having a look around the garden centre with my parents and my one year old daughter. It looked and seemed pleasant and inviting for a little refresher (cake and a brew). From the moment we walked in, as I unlatched the double doors to allow my dad to wheel our pram in and was essentially glared at by staff, it felt 'off'. We were marched, with said-pram, through a labyrinthine path of tables and chairs to the furthest point of the cafe and ordered to put the pram out of the way. No issues, I thought, got to be considerate to staff and other customers, despite us being situated in the graveyard area of the building with not another soul around, and the selected pram parking spot being on front of a fire escape. The food was quite nice, served quickly enough and without any major problems. The real issue was with the older blonde lady - a regular feature in other people's reviews, it seems - who was among the most discourteous, ignorant, obnoxious and downright rude people I've ever had the misfortune to encounter in a supposed hospitality role. As we moved to leave, my kindly 70 year old mother, from no more than two feet away, offered a polite and friendly compliment on the quality of the scone she had just eaten. 'Thank you so much' she started, to zero response. We assumed the last has just not heard' 'It was as good as it looked', she continued. Blank. Nothing. No acknowledgement or pleasantry, no forced politeness in the name of professional courtesy. The woman humiliated my mother, ignored her kind thanks and instead began talking to her colleague about what time she was going to clock off. Like my mother was not even there, let alone offering a compliment and positive feedback. It was shocking and egregious and left us all blown away at how this person can work in hospitality, and apparently have held a job for some time, judging by the dates of the other reviews. I don't know who she is, how she justifies this behaviour or how she's not been removed from the place but we won't be going back after she left a sour and ugly taste to an otherwise lovely afternoon trip out. Disgusting.

Son loves his coffee and mocha from here. Been coming here for many years but just tried the sweet stuff but now it's halal, it's great to try other alternatives. Really enjoyed it, good saver meals!!
