Fantastic barman! Conor was amazing… welcomed us in and accommodated us in every aspect. Cocktails and conversation was amazing, couldn’t ask for a better night spent!

Staff all very friendly but hotel extremely tired and is desperate need of facelift and investment. Lovely location on riverside. Room had comfy bed but paint peeling off walls and dirty doors in bathroom, shower over bath poor, sink shabby. Corridors and reception area also shabby. Sadly breakfast very underwhelming. Horrible soggy mushrooms, rubbery hash browns etc. Coffee tasteless. Not real orange juice. We would not return in the state the hotel is currently in.

Excellent fresh breakfast (whilst staying at Bell Inn) great selection of choices, very pleasant service and clean. Lovely fresh ingredients too

If anyone is thinking of purchasing a gift voucher I wouldn't bother! I brought one for my mom for her birthday as l've recently moved here after a battle with breast cancer and thought it would be nice to go and have lunch together Called in for a coffee purchased the gift voucher whilst asking specifically How much notice do you need? I was told 24 hours Explained that my moms day off was Thursday to be told oh that's fine just call in advance to book Called yesterday ( Tuesday ) to be told oh we're busy let me check my dairy for Thursday I think it's fully booked and get Back to you was told to send a tx instead regarding the following Thursday No reply to the tx so I called back this morning to be told oh still haven't checked my dairy! The diary is right infront of her on the counter may I add because this is how she checked the price for my gift voucher I then Get a tx back to say oh we're not doing afternoon teas on Thursdays at the moment No offer of an alternative infact no offer of anything else Quick enough taking my money if you can't keep up with the demand you shouldn't be doing them or offering them at all ! Don’t give refunds apparently but they also can’t provide what you pay for

Este es un lugar caro pero de muy alta calidad para las personas que disfrutan de la charcutería gourmet. Ofrece una variedad de Jamón Español y otros tipos de carne. Para acompañar por eso el lugar ofrece una amplia selección de vinos para tener con el tipo específico de carne que hayas elegido. Hay una cafetería en el interior donde puede sentarse y comer lo que ha comprado. Caro, pero vale la pena probarlo

Service was good along with the coffee had some lovely cakes and the Carmel Shortbread was very tasty as well. Place was busy for late On in the day as well.

Hope and Lane serves fair coffee and good vegan and non vegan hot snack options (not meals, more like sausage rolls and small pies and sweet snack.) This was a busy Saturday so it was full and not very easy to move around (too packed with furniture making it hard to move around if you had a dog or a pushchair) I’m afraid as they have tried to fill the place with seating both upstairs and downstairs. The staff were doing their best but there weren’t enough of them and the space behind the bar is not big enough for them all to work and sufficiently serve the customers on a busy day. It’s a shame the business hasn’t got that right. It also meant that tables were left uncleaned as the staff simply had too much on their plates. Success shouldn’t come at the expense of customers. I wasn’t sure what the reference to 1800 Columbia was upstairs then realised they simply hadn’t bothered to check how to spell Colombia 🇨🇴 as opposed to Columbia… always a sign of a non curious coffee business. What a shame - I had higher expectations. Low level of customer service, and when I reviewed with my experience on another channel I was met with defensiveness, sarcasm and they suggested my standards were too high (oh dear) and overall I was told if it was too busy for my liking I should go to Costa up the road (hey?) It was just a very unprofessional response from the owners. In today’s market if you can’t handle a less than perfect review it smacks of an outdated business model, making excuses for lazy management and a business culture that can’t look at itself in the face of customer feedback.

Gran comida y gran hospitalidad. El personal y el gerente eran muy agradables y la comida era genial. Lo recomendaría encarecidamente a cualquiera que visite Londres.

Monday only me in the bakery purchased pk saffron buns l had to get buns from shop window ,put buns into paper bag. The girl seamed not interested in her job.asked about the tasted of the saffron in the buns. Her reply she did not eat them.shirly she should know about the products she sell. I will not go back.

Came with a friend and the kids and was warmly greeted by Sherrie who made us feel very welcome and went out of her way to do so. The chef (Said) was also helpful and bought the food over to us himself which was presented beautifully and tasted amazing! For £13, dinner dessert and kids meal! Very impressed, and will return again. 😃

Fui a la ciudad a recoger a mi esposa de su fiesta de trabajo. Decidieron ir a O'Neill's por una copa más y un baile rápido, así que me fui. Cuando llegamos a la puerta me negaron la entrada por estar borracho y balancearme demasiado. Fui a la ciudad a recoger a mi esposa, y actualmente estoy haciendo enero seco. Respeto la decisión de los porteros, ya que puede ser muy exigente. Pero tenía la peor actitud y medios para hablar a la gente. Me dio la impresión de que estaba compensando por ser intimidado en la escuela. Habiendo sido seguridad en el pasado, él tiene mucho que aprender y seguro que O'Neill's puede garantizar no volver a sacarme ni un centavo.

El personal de la casa es amable. Orden tomada con prontitud, sin embargo, cuando nuestra orden llegó estaba mal. La chica se disculpó y le hizo otro sándwich a mi marido. Muy promedio, sin mantequilla en el pan y muy poca mostaza. Esta cafetería tiene una cocina abierta y se puede ver el ‘cocinero’. ¡Al calentar la sopa en una sartén sumergió su dedo para ver si estaba caliente y luego se lamió el dedo! Entonces no se lavó las manos. Más tarde lo vi en la labranza y de nuevo la higiene personal no era genial. Las chicas que sirven son encantadoras, pero una estaba haciendo sándwiches con el cabello suelto y colgando en su cara. Pensé que habíamos encontrado una joya, pero lamentablemente no volveremos

I don’t think I have enough space to fit this into 100 words! Unfortunately I have a medical problem for which I’ve been advised to stick to a “Fodmap” I thought I would never be able to go for dinner with my husband. I called the evening before when a very lovely member of the team asked me to email my food restrictions to her which she gave to Chef Lewis When we arrived for our booking we sat in the gorgeous lounge and was advised that the chef would come to speak to me. Chef Lewis sat with us and went through the menu. I chose to have a rib eye steak, chips, carrots and a lovely tomato salad. I was delighted the steak was melt in your mouth and cooked to perfection, it was all perfect. My husbands food was excellent too. We had a lovely Valentines dinner thanks to the fabulous caring team and fantastic Chef Lewis. We can’t put into words just how much we appreciated your time and for making it a special evening for us. We have booked a table for 5 people for Mother’s Day. No need for a menu for me, same again Lewis. 🥰 We have been to many restaurants all over the World and we have never received the outstanding service, care and attention we received from Chef Lewis and the rest of his team. Thank you once again. See you on Mothers Day 😘 I highly recommend this Brasserie!

Food excellent We are regular visitors. Can we plead you to improve your cofee which is very poor. Do some research, the lavender restaurant produces excellent cofee, all done at a pressof a button. We are regular visitors. I hope this is constructive.

Our first visit today was a great success, after travelling down from east Devon and having shopped locally we needed some lunch, we have been to most of the other eateries in the area over the years and wanted to try something new. We were tempted in by the specials board outside and l ordered the Mediterranean lasagne, garlic bread and salad garnish with a side of fries as an extra, my wife had a breakfast and we shared a pot of tea. We were served at the table shortly after we sat down by polite, efficient young staff. The food was well cooked and presented, really tasty just as we had hoped. To our delight when I paid the bill it came to well under £24! Keep up the good work, you will have our custom again when in the area. Regards, Uncle Pudders.
