This was my first visit here and I was very impressed with the customer service . There was a delay with my order and Hassan offered me a drink on the house for the inconvenience. Hassan’s customer service from beginning to end was outstanding and made my visit memorable. I had the burger and my friend had the chicken burger and we were both very pleased with our choices. I will definitely be returning. Thank you Hassan for your excellent customer service !

Nice pub and ambience. Music nice level and good charging ports . Bird I was with was top notch and would recommend a date with her. She deffo would put out on a 1st date.

Avoid. My experience in this bar is honestly something I wouldn’t wish on anyone but these people- me and my friends were attacked by two grown men and a woman who started the whole thing. Funnily enough the woman works there and the men are regulars. If you want a safe night out then I’d avoid supporting this particular O’Neill’s and head down to a spoons instead where you’d feel safer actually have a good night while saving your money, while also not supporting these scum who allowed this to happen in their workplace. If you were going here because it’s an Irish bar I’d also avoid as if you happen to bump into these regulars and people that work here you'll most likely experience their irish discrimination.. whether you do or don’t , it’s not nice to be around racist aggressive scum who are confident enough to attack girls that are young enough to be their children or grandchildren. Whether you think you’ll experience this or not is for you to decide but I live by principle and why support a branch who allowed this to happen without dealing with it themselves and doing completely nothing about it while watching it all ?

Speedy service, great food and lovely staff. Recommend the food, always a good meal when here. Great atmosphere, will definitely be visiting again.

Had a great time here, we ordered some tapas and drinks. Food came out in a timely manner and tasted delicious and we had a few rounds of drinks. Had a cocktail as well which I can confirm was tasty. Def returning

Sadly this bar is no longer the friendly place it used to be ; staff are too interested in their friends and chatting behind the bar to be interested in customers or is it only younger customers they are interested in making welcome , the staff are unfriendly and to be fair untrained, the bar staff that served me didn’t even realize the bottle they were pouring alcohol from was empty until Another member of staff pointed it out, I was then charged more for my drink having been served 30 minutes earlier because it was past 5 pm : that’s shocking , lucky for you I won’t visit this pub again until you sort your staff and stop ripping customers off

This place has massively gone down hill. Bar staff are rude disrespectful the manager is obnoxious and unprofessional. As a whole this establishment has gone down hill. Over saw a situation where a guy paid with a £50 note, the bar staff told him he couldn’t pay with that. The manager then came over and laughed at him with his girlfriend I’d assume. It was disgusting the man just wanted to pay for his drink, everyone swarmed him the bar staff and started on him. The only way I can describe this is bullying. Avoid at all costs manager is vile, so are the bar staff. Would rather drink a pint of my own piss to be fair. The manager seemed to think the pub wasn’t attached to a brewery and could just swear and say whatever he wanted to people. The man should be sacked. Worked in pubs for years and I’ve never come across someone so unprofessional.

Great place so a spot of lunch, bar team very accommodating especially with a young child. Chefs are amazing, food was delicious. Definitely going to come back, need to try that festive menu.

I used to love O’Neill’s but I sadly find the bar staff rude and unhelpful, went in last night and the bar staff would rather talk to each other and ignore customers than serve them, very disrespectful and disappointing ,won’t be going back in a hurry

We was looking for a good pub to watch football and have some tradition english pub food. The problem started when having taken our food order and payment the staff member then advised it would take 40 minutes to come . Which we accepted but was then advised one of our orders had ran out and then 40 minutes became 1 hours 45 minutes they brought the wrong order for one of our party ! In summary badly managed as if we had know the delay would be as long then we would have just had a drink and eaten and elsewhere . The staff were apologetic however the underline issue was no one should have to wait 1 hour 45 minutes for a simple burger.

Our usual 'go to' when we're in Kingston is Wetherspoons, but a couple of months ago, we went to O'Neil's for a change and to see if the place had improved since our last time there. This is now our new 'go to', the improvement in customer service and the food is very obvious. The drinks/food offers are great value, on this visit we ate from the lunchtime menu and we weren't disappointed. The bar staff were all extremely pleasant, our main chat was with Nathan, who couldn't do enough for us. Possibly under different management and new staff, but we have been pleasantly surprised! Simple order of 3 burgers and chips, had to wait 35 mins when the place wasn’t even busy. Seems priority given to takeaway orders via deliveroo. Food was cold when served too. Very poor.

A bite to eat and a few drinks and a lovely Saturday afternoon We always pop into the O’Neills when we are in Kingston as it seems the only place that you can get a bite to eat or something that you want and a few beers and to top it off you get served by excellent staff I just wanna say a big shout out to the manager who was on duty in the late afternoon his quick reaction to a situation was handled Immediately also a. Thank you to the other staff who was great but the big shout out goes to Harley Who was a fantastic and was managing the crowd very easily in fact while she was poor and she was asking the next person what’s your order please The football was on it was constant it was busy yet she was just as lively all the time it was a great afternoon and it was so wonderful to have someone like Harley serving because she is Genuine And it shows in her approach when she’s serving you I think she’s a great asset to your business I would be nice if someone recognise that and gave her some kind of a reward because it doesn’t go unnoticed when you get a fantastic service like that I did actually say to her what’s your name and she told me it was Harley by name And by nature and by that I mean by the speed she serves people well done Harley fantastic service 5 stars all the way

After a long time of being stuck indoors I decided to come to O’neills, the service was great and the staff were extremely friendly. I ordered a pizza which came quickly and was really nice. Would definitely come back again!

Due to restrictions we sat outside which was absolutely fine as the sun was out. The positive was all the staff serving were really friendly, polite and chatty. They were faultless. The food was a little overpriced for pub food that wasn’t that good. The calamari really tasted like fish goujons, tasteless. The halloumi fries were over cooked. Wine was priced well even though we weren’t given a drinks list so no idea what the prices were at all!

Excellent wine at a very modest price for a pub. Service done by app so no one around to discuss and had to obtain real menu myself. This was a birthday treat so I could say nothing at the time but the starter prawns came - very good - but no napkins or cutlery- eating with fingers ok but something to wipe with necessary surely especially since we had to use hand gel before entry. Water difficult to obtain and then only one glass each. Main - should have been a steak for friend but unbelievably no peppercorn sauce left (mid-lunchtime on a Friday) so treat spoilt. Gammon, egg and pineapple instead. The Brunch burger for me. I find increasingly with "gourmet" burgers that the bun hides what is left out. There was no base to my bun and no hash brown. The gammon came with no egg and what looked like apple. There was no tomato sauce left in the condiment tray and the cutlery was stuffed in at the side - not hygienic. No one to complain to at the time but in any case, as is so often when I write these, I was with someone I wanted to please and not embarrass by making a fuss. Food overall good but inexcusable that components were missing as if we were to stupid or drunk to care -and chips did not appear thrice cooked either- or even twice.

What started of as a quiet drink soon turned into a night to remember in O’Neil’s! Great music accompanied by a great crowd! In particular I would like to mention Katelyn behind the bar; we honestly couldn’t of had a better level of service. She went out of her way to provide a top experience in O’niells - From the moment we arrived Katelyn was very welcoming and provided some great banter for our group which we all appreciated!

I have never experienced such shocking behaviour from bouncers in Kingston upon thames. After asking why others were let in before us and waiting 30min patiently to be let into the pub we were denied entry. We were not told why. It is unfortunate that such a “friendly pub” is let down by some of its staff. Staff running the door are sexist and racist and should be held accountable.

We were in a party having the set Christmas menu. Service was slow. The tomato soup was nice but arrived lukewarm. The salmon was very unsatisfying, it had no flavour and I didn't finish it. It came with plenty of potatoes and veg though. Dessert (chocolate torte with ice cream) was very nice. The servers were friendly and tried their best to handle our big group. Overall experience was a let down.

I only go to O'Neils because my Brother likes it. Much nicer cleaner pubs nearby.

So me and my mate Dave decided instead of going to spoons we would go to O’Neills in Kingston as we had heard about the live music. and it was an absolute banterful environment that you are drawn into as soon as you enter through the doors.

I was there about month ago and could believe the state of the lady toilets but thought maybe it was a one off. Went there again (early during the day) and the toilets were in the same shocking state. Also found the bar staff not that friendly. It is a shame as used to be a great pub.
