Came for food lovely pub and friendly staff. Waiting on staff couldn’t do enough for you. Food was ok but seemed like it was cooked in a rush as the pub was busy. Just a handy tip if you have booked a table, if the bar area is really busy go to the back of the pub and find the waiting on staff. You will be seated straight away as the bar can take ages to be served when busy. Be good to have signs saying Restaurant this way.

Bought a BLT and ham salad sandwich. The bacon in the BLT was hardly cooked, very fatty. Almost broke my tooth on something in the sandwich, must of been a stone in the salad. Very expensive for what you get. The brownie was good though. Would recommend going elsewhere

The food was ok but a long way from real quality sushi and given the high price you expect better. The service is non existent, we were greeted by a woman who looked like she hated every second of being there, no smile and barely a hello. Every time she walked past us she avoided eye contact so trying to get her or indeed anyone's attention to take our orders was a real challenge. And they had the gall to ask for a 10% service charge!!

Unfortunately this tearoom didnt live up to the hype - total and obvious lack of interest from the staff ( atleast 6 people working there when we visited, so no excuse)... starting from when we entered the premises wishing to escape from the rain and had to stand in a queue behind others whilst the waitress had a long conversation with a table of customers already seated - she could see the queue building and carrying on out of the shop, but made no attempt to make a polite excuse to the people she was talking to. Eventually shown to a table at the back. Husband ordered a BLT sandwich, which was made using cheap, thin sliced supermarket bread with a handful of lettuce leaves and a slice of cucumber on the side. Have had better bacon sandwiches at greasy motorway caffs! I ordered a cheese and tomato omelette. Husband's sandwich was produced, which he ate ( slowly) - no sign of my omelette. The staff were all gathered round the kitchen hatch debating what condolesences they should be offering to someone who had messaged regarding a relative in hospital. Conversation to be heard by all, and the debate raged endlessly whilst people waited for their food. Various cream teas were then distributed. We asked what had happened to the omelette, as my husband had finished his sandwich by now - a few staff faces peeked round at us as if to see who was daring to question, then after a few minutes an omelette was hastily produced, along with a handful of lettuce leaves and 4 tiny squares of..yes, thin, supermarket bread. The most expensive and tasteless omelette I've ever eaten, no way that any cheese was used in it's making, so basically just eggs and tomatoes. RIP off!! The older staff working there should be ensuring that the younger ones are doing their jobs and not being distracted by their personal chit chat, but sadly they were just as guilty. Won't be visiting again!

Had a bad experience with brodies unfortunately and i hate to give a local business such a low score. we booked for dinner and were told they were not able to provide table service for drinks and that we would have to queue at the bar? Our table and some of the surrounding tables were swarmed with fruit flies which has completely put me off going back again.
