A venue where you didn’t know you had friends. Fantastic soirée for drinks and food. Would certainly visit again as brilliant location for watching sports

Came to watch a six nations game, they put it on the screen but would not play audio. Said they could only play audio from the premier league game. This was ridicolous as 90+% of the people wanted to watch the rugby. The staff did not try at all to accomodate the request of many clients including us, we all had to leave and go to The Cork where the staff was much frendlier and happy to accomodate. Whats worst is the gentleman from staff behind the bar was quite rude when we came to ask for a third time if the audio could switch. You should listen to your customer and give some rational reasoning to what you do, rather than stating "it is what it is, you asking me to change it will not make us review what we are doing". The exact opposite of what you should do. You have so many screens, it would have been very easy to move things around, lazy and unfriendly response from the staff. Won't be returning

90% of bar wanted to watch rugby. Asked if we could have sound on. Staff remained adamant that that’s not how it works because 3 people had booked to watch football. They weren’t even playing sound for the football match and we had to listen to chart music. Staff was kinda rude. Left and went to the cork instead.

Rude female working on the 19/02/2025 at 7:30 tried to quiz me on the table I booked....basically calling me out that I've sat on someones table and not booked! There's a way to approach this and she definitely did it the wrong way. After that event we all sat there feeling like we've done something wrong. She didn't check any other tables just ours......sorry that we had to find our own reserved table because nobody was there to greet us when we came in and waited by the door. Next time try not to interrogate someone that has genuinely booked the table. Try sending this inexperienced member of staff on some customer care training.

Very disappointed in the security yesterday before the start of the rugby game. Racism is on top over here. Been there a week ago for the other rugby game and and asked if we can attend again without a booking and staff said that all is fine. But not this Saturday gone. Two guys came out and said that we cane take their place but security found another reason: what if 30 people come with a reservation? Not even using the counting device. I would like to make a formal complaint please.

Came here for a works meal, 40 of us. Staff were absolutely excellent went above and beyond and made it a really decent Christmas do. Food was really good too and plenty of it and was all served so we could eat together. Prices are as to be expected for a city centre pub, a bit pricey but not above what everyone else charges in Bath. Only gripe, as an old bugger, was that the TV’s were so loud everyone had to shout to be able to chat which made it very noisy but as my better half pointed out it is a sports bar and so most others in there were actually watching to football. We have been many times and will no doubt go back again.

This bar has more of a lads' vibe than a couples' spot, in my opinion. That said, it's still worth stopping for a drink. Its fantastic location offers an excellent view of Bath, making it the perfect place to relax and watch the world go by.

First time in here in a while, just looking for a nice pint and some football after a day of work. Very crazy busy for a Saturday but was served by the lovely Georgina who made sure my beer was never empty. Service is top tier and everyone is friendly definitely would recommend!

I dread a Bath Rugby game in Bath every Xmas market. It was with trepidation I booked today but… I have never had a better customer experience than in Ludo today. Place was, inevitably manic. But Lennox-astonishingly good-Scarlet and Meg looked after us amazingly on the busiest weekend of the year. Thank you so much! Next year?

Had a great dinner here they were almost closed and the great team of Joel & Alex made it work for us and fed us such delicious food. Must come and eat here!!! Highly recommended

Acabábamos de planear café, pero vimos alitas de barbacoa yendo a otra mesa y le preguntamos a nuestra camarera Meg si podía traernos un poco. Meg fue muy amable y nos trajo las alas muy rápido. Reservamos una mesa (interior) con vistas a los deportes para una celebración de cumpleaños a tiempo y luego la reserva se canceló tarde porque tenían un fallo en el sistema, aparentemente. Una oferta de una mesa al aire libre en noviembre no era una gran mirada. En esta época si no puede confiar en el software de reserva es mejor no confiar en un lugar. Si estás buscando una noche especial te sugiero que vayas a algún lugar donde no te decepcionen.

Great place to watch NFL football!!!

Great sports bar screens everywhere and the food and drinks were great. However, the friendliness and exceptional service elevated this bar, from the door staff and then the greeter, to the servers on the floor, especially on what was a very busy evening.

Lively and busy place, can order from your table instead of having to go to the bar. Loads of screens to watch the sport, good busy atmosphere, food is your standard pub/bar grub but it was really good

Even though there weren't that many people, we weren't served on the terrace. The previous guests' dishes were not put away until the end. Many tables were dirty with bird droppings. We weren't 100% satisfied with the food either. Some lettuce leaves were still dirty. Not recommended.

Yesterday I was there watching the football game portugal vs France with my friends and we been treated very bad and unfair by your one of your staff especially the security we did spend good money there we having a good night till we been invited out because we said my friend had to much to drink when he was OK Not causing any of sort of problems could left us finish just the game and leave but no, our experience there was ruined,your security was very rude to us i just want u guys to know about that might lose future costumers with that type of service There is a photo of your staff who treat us bad 👎 the girl on the bar turn her back to us Good luck 👍

It is a nice place right next to train station. We order our food only to be told that it is not available as they have changed menu, and we are looking at the old menu which is the ones they have on all the tables.

Ludo sport bar and kitchen Bath UK. It used to be Graze Steak House. Situated near Bath Spa Station. It was my first time here in Ludo after being away working and travelling abroad. It's a very beautiful place, a great selection of beers and drinks, a great location. It seems to be very popular when the match is on. Excellent service. Meeting place for live sports fans.

Dropped in for a couple of pints with a good mate of mine and thought the place was superb. Very spacious inside and out, with a great serving area and a fantastic range of beers and ales.

Great bar but adding a mandatory 10% charge to your food bill is a bit cheeky when just getting snacks (like wings and peppers)

Came to Bath for my partner's birthday last week and popped in for a drink or two and ended up staying the whole night! The bar staff were excellent especially Rob the bar manager, he was very hospitable. Owen was great and I didn't get the ladies name (she was new) but was lovely. Plenty of sports on and they'll accommodate you whatever you want to watch. Will definitely be back when in Bath again.

Friday 6pm matchday. This place has the potential to be excellent with a great setting, location and atmosphere, however it was very poor for food and service. 1. No steaks at all. Not sure if they ever had them or if they simply ran out. Very poor on either front for an early service at the weekend. 2. They want you to order and pay off an app but the app won’t allow you to deduct the 20% Bath Rugby membership discount, so then you have to go to the bar to order which sort of defeats the object. 3. Service at the bar is very slow 4. Young waiting staff rushed off their feet but not being particularly attentive. Very difficult to get their attention if you need something. 5. The food we did manage to order was nearly an hour getting to the table. This wasn’t just us, but the two tables next to us. 6. Food that did arrive was pretty average 7. Waiting times at the bar just for drinks also very long. Bearing in mind you have to book to realistically get a table it’s almost like it came as a surprise to them that they’d be busy on a Friday evening/Matchday. I think this place has a management issue. It’s understaffed and they really need to think about getting rid the app and revert to using the waiting staff to take orders - the service really suffers, it minimises the opportunity for waiting staff to earn proper tips and it’s no faster than going to the bar particularly if you want your Bath member discount.

Seems like a really nice place, I popped in to get a few drinks for friends and I as our train was delayed. I asked for three beers and forgot to mention I'd like them bottled, I apologised as she started pouring the first and asked for bottled instead, she was clearly annoyed but did allow. However she subsequently overcharged me, I felt deliberately as she didn't give the impression of not knowing the bar or menu well. After many train delays and hearing my train was finally on its way into the platform I decided not to argue but was very unimpressed. She was clearly quite happy with herself to have "gotten away with it." A shame as the bar itself looked great and the cocktails even better!

This is the first time I've been here because of the breaking of the fast event, the food hasn't arrived yet, I've been waiting for an hour... the waiter has spilled avocado juice on my clothes... it's better not to do it when breaking the fast arrives, even though you've made a reservation.

Today, I tried the Sunday roast at Ludo. And boy, it was delicious! The chefs have certainly up their game. Something, Carrie Bradshaw would say if she ate, that she has died and gone into food heaven. The pork was crackling, beef succulent and the chicken juicy. To top it all was the almost velvety cauliflower and cheese and not to forget the Yorkshire pudding was fresh out of the oven. Can’t wait for next Sunday! The service provided by Greg, Cammi and Emma was outstanding as always!

Booked Ludo to watch Man Utd match whilst visiting Bath. The staff were busy but really helpful. Took good care when taking our allergy order. I’d come back again next time I’m in Bath.

When you order Nachos & Chilli, make sure you ask for it to be warm. Ludo serves it stone cold. They offered to take it away & heat it up for me, but I declined as I wanted to eat my meal at the same time as my wife who would have finished her meal by the time my meal was returned. The live football matches could have done with having audible commentary as well.

Match days busy and most tables reserved when we arrived. The bar menu is an absolute rip off. We ordered Loaded Nachos. Awful and very poor quality. If you want Chips for a snack, order 4 times as you only get about 5 chips per serving. Staff however were very friendly and efficient and we didnt have to wait long to be served. We will return but not for food.

I know it's a sports bar but it was pretty dead and they decided to crank up the volume on the TV's next to us ultra loud when the game came on so it was impossible to hear each other speak. Literally nobody was watching and in fact some people left when this happened. It's alright in summer when you can sit outside but won't be back again.

Only popped in for a short meeting at 11 am just as the bar opened, so it was understandably quiet. It's very bright and spacious with outside areas, too. This is a sports bar, and I imagine it gets very busy at times, but there were plenty of screens. I only had a latte, which was fine, but now I have found this place will definitely try lunch sometime. Also, only a few yards from the train station.

I actually really like this bar yes it's expensive and yes there isn't much going on in there but it's warm staff are pretty good and it sells beer, has sports on its a pleasant place to have a beer off the train or before you get on one.

We had checked out this bar on Friday and booked a table for drinks at 3pm and then eating at 6pm on Saturday while the rugby was televised. At 6.30 it became apparent that another group had booked these specific seats and we were asked to move. The seats were further into the bar and amongst the football crowd, which we had no interest in. Sadly we weren't given time to finish our drinks or food. No offer to at least assist us with plates and drinks to another table was given, just the explanation the other group had booked months ago. A better system is needed I think!!!

Each year our dispersed group of friends meet together for an Xmas meal in Bath. We choose Ludo, booking well in advance and very much looking forward to the meal having seen the menu. We turn up 5mins before our booking, open the door and are greeted by standing patrons all the up to the door - ominous sign. A staff member takes our name and takes us to our table…which is already occupied. So, in front of us he has to pitch them out which you could see they were not chuffed by and was awkward for us. We ask if there is table service? He tells us no and that you have to order via the app or bar. Undeterred by the crowd and noise around us we proceeded to sign into the QR code to get some drinks ordered…only to get a warning saying there is a 45mins wait on DRINKS!!! We look at the bar to see if it will be quicker ordering that way and can’t even see the bar for the droves of people standing in the way - you couldn’t decipher the bar queue from the people watch the TV’s! Feeling very annoyed that our one and only gathering a year had been well and truly ruined we decided to walk out - which took 5-10mins itself. My observation and recommendation for the bar is this - there was easily 20,30 maybe 40 people idling standing around the bar blocking access - half of them didn’t have a drink in their hands and the others seemed to be nursing their drinks for as long as they could! So for all those people I bet the bar would’ve been lucky to make £100 in sales! We were a table of 7, all eating and would’ve had wine and several other drinks - probably a good £300-400 tab if not more…but as I said we walked out not spending a penny! I think this place needs to decide it’s identity and stick to it - as it’s definitely not working at the moment. Looking at other recent reviews it adds weight to this. We couldn’t find another eatery that could house our group so our whole evening was ruined, and we entirely blame Ludo for that.

Decided to pop in after the rugby as we waited for our train home. Headed to the bar, which was, admittedly fairly busy. But Bath had just finished playing, and it was the last day of the Christmas Markets - so probably not totally unexpected? We managed to make our way to the front of the bar - largely helped by an Ulster fan leaving without drinks telling us "good luck getting served" (ironically). We thought nothing of it and - no exaggerations - waited for 45 mins, next to the beer taps, without being served. Several moments of eye contact and even a couple of words exchanged with the bar staff - still no service. In the end, out train was fast approaching and Sainsburys was actually a better option for a beverage. More than anything - put enough staff on for a busy Saturday? We spent 45 mins enjoying your live sport and warmth to spend precisely £0 and leave you with YET ANOTHER 1* review (really? I mean how many do you need to realize your formula is isn't working.) But also - the staff that were on were absolutely embarrassing to your reputation. We heard one saying loudly that they "couldn't wait for their break", another had his lovely (definitely not tacky) gold chain hanging over his shirt as he loudly and open mouthed chewed his gum nonchalantly, whilst all around him chaos insued. For christ sake - there were so many of us at the bar leaving, angry, without spending a penny. Sort it out or bring back Graze - this was the biggest joke of Bath (and I've been to Komedia before).
