Great sports bar screens everywhere and the food and drinks were great. However, the friendliness and exceptional service elevated this bar, from the door staff and then the greeter, to the servers on the floor, especially on what was a very busy evening.

We stopped in here for late lunch/early dinner and shared the kilo of wings. Really good wings with three different sources. The buffalo sauce was just the right kind of spicy. For two people it was just the right amount of food to not leave us feeling stuffed.

As I wait to catch a train at 4:45pm! Having a pint from 10:30🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 Ludo Sports Bar in Bath Town Centre is a fantastic spot for both sports enthusiasts and casual visitors alike! The atmosphere is vibrant and welcoming, making it the perfect place to watch your favorite games. The large screens are strategically placed so that you never miss a moment of the action, no matter where you're seated. The staff are friendly and attentive, ensuring that you always have a fresh drink or delicious snack to enjoy. Speaking of the food, the menu offers a great variety of options that cater to all tastes, from classic pub grub to more sophisticated dishes. The drinks menu is equally impressive, with a wide selection of beers, cocktails, and spirits. What really sets Ludo apart is its sense of community. Whether you're a regular or a first-time visitor, you're made to feel right at home. It's a great place to meet friends, make new ones, and share in the excitement of the latest sporting events. I highly recommend Ludo Sports Bar for anyone looking to enjoy a lively, fun-filled time in Bath!

Friday 6pm matchday. This place has the potential to be excellent with a great setting, location and atmosphere, however it was very poor for food and service. 1. No steaks at all. Not sure if they ever had them or if they simply ran out. Very poor on either front for an early service at the weekend. 2. They want you to order and pay off an app but the app won’t allow you to deduct the 20% Bath Rugby membership discount, so then you have to go to the bar to order which sort of defeats the object. 3. Service at the bar is very slow 4. Young waiting staff rushed off their feet but not being particularly attentive. Very difficult to get their attention if you need something. 5. The food we did manage to order was nearly an hour getting to the table. This wasn’t just us, but the two tables next to us. 6. Food that did arrive was pretty average 7. Waiting times at the bar just for drinks also very long. Bearing in mind you have to book to realistically get a table it’s almost like it came as a surprise to them that they’d be busy on a Friday evening/Matchday. I think this place has a management issue. It’s understaffed and they really need to think about getting rid the app and revert to using the waiting staff to take orders - the service really suffers, it minimises the opportunity for waiting staff to earn proper tips and it’s no faster than going to the bar particularly if you want your Bath member discount.

Seems like a really nice place, I popped in to get a few drinks for friends and I as our train was delayed. I asked for three beers and forgot to mention I'd like them bottled, I apologised as she started pouring the first and asked for bottled instead, she was clearly annoyed but did allow. However she subsequently overcharged me, I felt deliberately as she didn't give the impression of not knowing the bar or menu well. After many train delays and hearing my train was finally on its way into the platform I decided not to argue but was very unimpressed. She was clearly quite happy with herself to have "gotten away with it." A shame as the bar itself looked great and the cocktails even better!

Today, I tried the Sunday roast at Ludo. And boy, it was delicious! The chefs have certainly up their game. Something, Carrie Bradshaw would say if she ate, that she has died and gone into food heaven. The pork was crackling, beef succulent and the chicken juicy. To top it all was the almost velvety cauliflower and cheese and not to forget the Yorkshire pudding was fresh out of the oven. Can’t wait for next Sunday! We had checked out this bar on Friday and booked a table for drinks at 3pm and then eating at 6pm on Saturday while the rugby was televised. At 6.30 it became apparent that another group had booked these specific seats and we were asked to move. The seats were further into the bar and amongst the football crowd, which we had no interest in. Sadly we weren't given time to finish our drinks or food. No offer to at least assist us with plates and drinks to another table was given, just the explanation the other group had booked months ago. A better system is needed I think!!!

Each year our dispersed group of friends meet together for an Xmas meal in Bath. We choose Ludo, booking well in advance and very much looking forward to the meal having seen the menu. We turn up 5mins before our booking, open the door and are greeted by standing patrons all the up to the door - ominous sign. A staff member takes our name and takes us to our table…which is already occupied. So, in front of us he has to pitch them out which you could see they were not chuffed by and was awkward for us. We ask if there is table service? He tells us no and that you have to order via the app or bar. Undeterred by the crowd and noise around us we proceeded to sign into the QR code to get some drinks ordered…only to get a warning saying there is a 45mins wait on DRINKS!!! We look at the bar to see if it will be quicker ordering that way and can’t even see the bar for the droves of people standing in the way - you couldn’t decipher the bar queue from the people watch the TV’s! Feeling very annoyed that our one and only gathering a year had been well and truly ruined we decided to walk out - which took 5-10mins itself. My observation and recommendation for the bar is this - there was easily 20,30 maybe 40 people idling standing around the bar blocking access - half of them didn’t have a drink in their hands and the others seemed to be nursing their drinks for as long as they could! So for all those people I bet the bar would’ve been lucky to make £100 in sales! We were a table of 7, all eating and would’ve had wine and several other drinks - probably a good £300-400 tab if not more…but as I said we walked out not spending a penny! I think this place needs to decide it’s identity and stick to it - as it’s definitely not working at the moment. Looking at other recent reviews it adds weight to this. We couldn’t find another eatery that could house our group so our whole evening was ruined, and we entirely blame Ludo for that.

Decided to pop in after the rugby as we waited for our train home. Headed to the bar, which was, admittedly fairly busy. But Bath had just finished playing, and it was the last day of the Christmas Markets - so probably not totally unexpected? We managed to make our way to the front of the bar - largely helped by an Ulster fan leaving without drinks telling us "good luck getting served" (ironically). We thought nothing of it and - no exaggerations - waited for 45 mins, next to the beer taps, without being served. Several moments of eye contact and even a couple of words exchanged with the bar staff - still no service. In the end, out train was fast approaching and Sainsburys was actually a better option for a beverage. More than anything - put enough staff on for a busy Saturday? We spent 45 mins enjoying your live sport and warmth to spend precisely £0 and leave you with YET ANOTHER 1* review (really? I mean how many do you need to realize your formula is isn't working.) But also - the staff that were on were absolutely embarrassing to your reputation. We heard one saying loudly that they "couldn't wait for their break", another had his lovely (definitely not tacky) gold chain hanging over his shirt as he loudly and open mouthed chewed his gum nonchalantly, whilst all around him chaos insued. For christ sake - there were so many of us at the bar leaving, angry, without spending a penny. Sort it out or bring back Graze - this was the biggest joke of Bath (and I've been to Komedia before).

Ludo occupies the site that was previously Graze. It strikes me as a weird place to put a sports bar, but it's big and convenient for the station so we booked it for a works do. People were expected to come and go during the course of the afternoon/evening, so we were effectively stuck there for the duration. First off, the food was an absolute joke. £10.50 a head for a buffet that wouldn't have fed half as many people. For example I had two pizza slices, five chips, one mozzarella stick and a chicken wing and I ate more than many. There were about half as many chicken wings as there were people (seriously how do you share a chicken wing!??) - despite about a 5th of the group not even turning up. Judging by the comically-small plates this was not a mistake. The food itself was OK but lacking in variety for a buffet. Some people went to McDonalds afterwards. Secondly, the bar prices. Bath is expensive but this place is right at the top-end - and it's meant to be a 'sports bar' that serves burgers and pizzas???! Nah. Then then was the service. It was hopelessly understaffed. When we arrived, there was one person serving, and sometimes zero when he went to collect glasses. At peak time in the evening there were about five people, two of which were on permanent coffee-machine-cleaning / glass-washing / customer-ignoring duty, so in reality just three of them, run ragged with about 40 customers waiting. Getting served became a bit of a running joke, so we'd experiment by sending different people to the bar to see who could attract the most attention. Is it meant to be a sports bar or a cocktail bar? 'Cos you need a lot more staff if everyone is drinking cocktails. Seriously folks, don't get sucked in by the location. Bath has loads of good pubs and ALL of them are cheaper and better than this. The one star goes to the poor barstaff that actually served us.

Booked a table of 7 over a month previous for a meal. Arrives to a disorganised team, no concern that the table provided was right by entrance door and freezing cold, every time the door opened. we requested a table in the dining area and were told that they were too busy and this was all they could give us which was completely out of order when booking in advance. we were waiting to be served, where with Julie told that you had to either order an app or go to the bar which was packed as they were too busy to give table service. So ultimately we left for a proper restaurant and wouldn’t return..

It's not bad. Don't waste your time with the food though, the loaded nachos I ordered was £10, about as much as you'd get in a single serving bag of doritos with the tiniest suggestion of cheese and dips on top on a silly little rectangle plate the size of a regular paperback book. Pointed out to the bar staff that the server asked if I needed anything and I asked for napkins which did not come and was told I am being rude and she could have just forgot! How is that my fault

Called on the morning of our evening arrival to add an extra person. No one called back. Arrived to the venue which was really busy to be told I had booked for the following day. Whilst I take complete responsibility for messing up the booking if they had returned my message then this issue would have been prevented. The managers attitude was “yeah, been too busy to check messages” if that’s the case dont leave the option for messages to be left. Nice venue lots of choice, staff not very friendly and a shame the rugby commentary is played throughout the whole venue when 60% of the customers were watching the footie. No reason why the volume couldn’t be split. Ultimately good idea in a good location, poorly executed and the staffing very stretched. Wouldn’t hurry back.

Warning: don’t order on the app, go to the bar as it’s all the same but cheaper (annoying that they’re ripping off customers). Food is quite good for a sports bar. Nice atmosphere and lots of screens inside and out.

This has always been a great space to have a drink, but now turned into a great place to watch sport. They have got it spot on! The beer and food are great but it's the team that make the difference. Every member of the team is enthusiastic and always busy - if not serving, then clearing glasses, cleaning tables and being great hosts - such a contrast from a lot of places these days. And a Bath Rugby discount - not a surprise that they are always busy whenever we've been in.

It was so lovely on the rooftop, ordered what we wanted on the app, all very easy! I had a mojito with a green chilli burger, which I recommend as it was delicious (probably because of the nacho cheese)! Will definitely come back!

Have just been in this Sports Bar in Bath Spa at the station. Best latte I have had in Bath so far. Really lovely staff and beautifully clean toilets. Unfortunately at the moment the lift is out of action. Definitely worth a visit though.

Loved this place when it was Graze. However, since the rebrand to a Sports Bar, the food has greatly declined. Our steak and burgers were technically fine, though, there was nothing stand out or exceptional about them. There’s also barely anything veggie / vegan now so it seems a little alienating compared to the prior menu. I don’t think I’ll come back and that is the most disappointing thing.

My friends and I love this place. Just what Bath was missing. We were blown away by the service from Eli, and Josh W is a great bartender. I was disappointed to see the food prices increase this week. The loaded nachos were a good lunch time go to at £7 but not worth the new price of £10 for some tortilla chips, guac and sauce. A re-think of the pricing would go a long way.

Looking forward to having a roast dinner I was disappointed to see that Graze had gone. Annoyingly the lift was out of order so walking the two flights of stairs was a struggle. It wasn’t immediately obvious you could have a meal as on each of the tables were drinks menus. It wasn’t until we asked we were able to find out. The menu I would say is limited but it is fitting with the type of venue it is. I had the mussels and chips for lunch. Very tasty. Would certainly have that again. My only criticism would be that no wet wipes or finger bowl were provided. For a meal like that it is something I would expect.

Lovely little pub. It is really cosy inside and the staff are friendly. Also has seating outside for when the weather is nice. The menu is small but it has all the main pub dishes that you would expect. Went for sausages and mash and the food was delicious. Would definitely recommend

Worst cafe experience I’ve ever had due to the rude and hostile manageress. While discussing the extortionate price of an item one of the other staff members started sniggering. There are ways to be empathetic to customers and appreciate their views without being rude and shutting them down. She told me to leave and write a review. Two slices of standard white bread and butter is £4.95 whether or not you have jam/marmalade. I actually left this cafe crying in front of my young daughter with the toast buttered and shoved in a box. I appreciate prices, but you should be allowed to disagree and discuss how much something is worth without being made to feel like you’re doing something wrong. Although she is the manger she said she doesn’t set the prices and wouldn’t give me the name of who does. Obviously avoiding this place from now on.

I’ve never written a review before, but here I am. We had a Sunday roast lunch booked for 3:30pm, we walked in and the place had a strange vibe to it as some tables were empty with plates etc still on, few tables busy but no one eating - and bar staff just polishing glasses. Lady behind the bar pointed to our table reluctantly after looking through the list of bookings, we then sat down. We stayed sat down for 15/20 minutes and no one had come over to clean it, give us a menu, or even ask us if we’d like a drink. At this point, I stood up and went to the bar, I explained the situation to the lady behind the bar who was what I’d describe as unhelpful and rude. She shrugged her shoulders, never apologised, suggested we move table and I wait for the manager. This lack of attentiveness and care really shone a bad light on this place for me as a new customer. We left the pub after no sign of a manager or further care, only to search the city looking for a roast somewhere else. I will never be returning.
