Me and my friends got the Paramount steaming dragon to share and it was unreal! Very creative, also got me steaming as well 😂 very funky decor made me feel like I wasn’t in any other normal bar, which was exactly what we were looking for Thank you to the kind and fun paramount staff!

Great music atmosphere and drinks.

There were 8 staff behind the bar and only one staff member served my 9 person party. The rest of the staff were standing looking at us and drinking which is shocking. The drinks were presented at different prices and the staff were not helpful or welcoming at all. Would not book for a large group again!

Just popped in for a quick drink, as my friends son was going to be the DJ there that evening and he wanted to check out the place. Very nice and the girl who served us was very friendly. Very 👍

Went to paramount with some friends and got verbally abused by a bouncer who I believe was called Callum. (He was middle aged, not overly tall and had dark hair. On shift Saturday the 27th of November) he then physically removed a vulnerable girl and left her outside on her own with no jacket in -1 degree temperatures. Myself and my friend went out to see if this girl was okay as with the recent rise in spiking and sexual assaults in Aberdeen it did not sit right with us to leave her on her own. When we were outside checking on this poor girl, the bouncer ‘Callum’ told the other bouncers not to let us back in. Our jackets, phones and friends were still inside. The bouncer clearly enjoys putting young vulnerable women’s lives at risk and is definitely in the wrong job. Formal complains will be made and police will also be made aware. A real shame for paramount as I usually really enjoy coming here but I will not be returning.

I was in the venue on the 27th of November during the red weather warning weekend. I saw a group of girls be kicked out for attempting to take a harmless photo with the bouncer. They were chucked out of the club and left outside in the freezing cold and I noticed they were refused entry back in to get jackets and belongings. The bouncer(s) also appeared to be verbally aggressive towards the group and I have never seen such poor door services in Aberdeen. The doormen responsible seriously need to take a look at themselves and be reviewed as what I saw last night was unacceptable behaviour from a position of power.

We had the best night out at Paramount! We attended for our friends birthday and received amazing service. Our server Ashley was very attentive and accommodating and made sure we had an amazing experience. Can't wait to come back!

We had a works team night out here but I found the music was to loud later in the evening for sociable conversation so we had to relocate.

Came in here for the first time and really enjoyed it love the drinks and the decor of the place and all the neon lights, loved the atmosphere in here and will be back.

I have been frequenting the establishment for 4 years and have to say Gary the bouncer is unreal special mention for the king who always greets me with a handsome smile and has a chat. Honourable mention to Mr Forsyth too

Paramount es bueno para una bebida barata ya que mi amigo tiene una tarjeta de descuento, pero realmente necesitan hacer algo al respecto. Cada vez que entro hay un fuerte olor a productos de limpieza, como desinfectantes o lejía. Pensé que tal vez era solo yo, pero alguien más lo mencionó anoche. La decoración es bonita. Las bebidas son buenas. Pedimos un gigante Pornstar Martini que fue divertido compartir. Nos sentimos un poco viejos ya que la mayoría de la clientela es muy joven. . . . alrededor de los 18 - principios de los 20 s. Fue destripado que el portero le pidiera a todos menos a nosotros una identificación; o)

Went here last night with a group of friends (all young women) and the security were amazing ensuring we all felt safe and were having a good night. Can’t remember their names but they are definitely a credit to the place :)

Mi novia dejó su teléfono y bolso en la mesa y nuestros dos amigos (uno de los cuales es negro) estaban felices de quedarse sentados y cuidar de ellos mientras ella se fue a tomar algo. Una camarera preguntó a nuestros amigos si los artículos pertenecían a ellos, ignoró su explicación de que los estaban cuidando para mi novia, y aun así tomó el bolso y el teléfono sin explicación. Cuando les pedimos que regresaran, ella actuó de manera muy grosera e increíblemente condescendiente, alegando que no los habían atendido, inicialmente se mostró reacia a devolver los artículos y trató de darle una conferencia a mi novia. Ella eligió ignorar a nuestros amigos (a quienes ella sabía que estaba con nosotros toda la noche) y actuó de manera injusta. Fue un comportamiento inapropiado de ella mentir y actuar como si ella fuera una santa, solo para actuar más superior cuando desafié su historia. No pareció que otra persona esa noche fuera tratada de esa manera por este miembro del personal. Con - sosteniendo lo que no le pertenece sin explicación, mostró que el único riesgo de que fuera robado fue por ella.

What a fab little bar. The decor is great, very eye catching and quirky. A great place to visit for a drink and to hear some live music. Would most definitely return and recommend a visit if you are in the area

This bar is very popular with young people and this older person found himself there after an office party on “ mad Friday “. Very busy but staff coped admirably. Good range of drinks.

My wife and nyself camevhere on a Friday night. Bar was busy but not heaving. Took ages to get served as now late 30s and not a young pretty girl or handsome young male meaning bar service ignored me numerous times leading tobus leaving early.

Absolutely one of the best bars in Aberdeen.

Door staff have attitude, not the good sort. DJ also thinks he is in a bigger venue than it is and needs to tone it down a wee bit ?

This bar is beautiful inside with gorgeous chandeliers and other fancy lights. Plush seating and excellent service . A guy was playing the guitar which was nice background music. Definitely a bar to visit!

Bar Paramount es, sin duda, un lugar social para ir para las bebidas. Los precios de las bebidas estaban bien y competitivo. El servicio de atención al cliente estaba bien así, aunque tuvimos que esperar bastante tiempo antes de que nos atendieron. El personal se disculpó y rápidamente nos atendió.

This is always a solid shout for drinks before going to a club. It does get really busy and can sometimes be a bit of a wait at the bar but never too long. If you book an area I always find its much better. There is always good music playing and a good atmosphere in here. The drinks are a bit pricey but there really fine and they do a really good cocktail and if you go here you have to have at least one Charlie sheen! They also do a cracking baby Guinness.

On friday night i was out with my wife i went out side for a smoke and and bumped in to a old work friend who i spoke to for about 5 mins. i then went to reenter the bar and one of the door staff would not let me in as i was too drunk. i discuued this with the door man who said he had 25 years experience or so he said. I then asked if he could go and get my wife who was in side i told him her name, where she was and what she was wearing. the firts occision he just went in side and stood and never even tried, the second time he was gone a bit longer and the thrid time he found my wife, it took him 3 times of me presisting for him to do this i he belived i was lying.I as the door staff if i could have his name and badge number which he also declined to give me his name and badge number and told me to come back another night to get it as i am not in aberdeen that often that will be quite difficult. My wife and i then countined other night in aberdeen with out any further hassel from the door staff.I will not be back i hurry to this Bar with door staff like that !!!!!!!!

i use to like going to this bar but now i feel like they let to many people in at one time. it is hard to move around the bar even to get to the toilet without bumping into at least 5 people along the way.

Have been to paramount on many occasions and always had a nice time. The staff are very professional and know their stuff when it comes to drinks.Is a really nice place to go on a saturday afternoon where they have live acoustic music.

We used Paramount for social drinks for a group of lawyers from 6pm to 8pm. The venue is perfect- welcoming and funky. The staff are so helpful and friendly. The drinks are very reasonably priced for the class of venue. I would recommend for anyone wanting a few drinks after work.

This is a nice bar if you like it a bit showy. Packed at weekends and has a good atmosphere.It's not particularily cheap so expect it to hit the pocket a little. Expect a wait at the bar to get a drink though its the same in any busy bar.Worth a visit

I've visited this bar a number of times over the years for nights out. They accept discount cards, do cheap drinks on Wednesdays and have a fabulous cocktail menu - the pornstar martini is a must-try! You can also reserve areas of the bar if you are having a party.The only thing that puts me off this bar lately are the people who go but that's not the bars fault!Beautiful bar, usually good service and excellent cocktails!

After a lovely early meal in town last night my daughter & myself decided to go to Paramount for a drink before catching the bus home. It was around 7pm and the bar was quite busy, I as a mature woman stood at the bar for at least 5mins and was totally ignored. When the barman closest to me was finished serving the customer he was attending to he then ignored me and started serving a couple who came to the bar after I was standing there. My daughter said to me to come away as I was being ignored, he then turned and said he would be with me in a minute. he then disappeared. I believe that my money is as good as the next persons. We then went next door to Jam Jar and recieved excellent customer service. I will certainly never set foot in your bar again.

E' un piccolo disco-bar in una traversa di Union street. Il locale è pieno di giovanissimi con l'intenzione di divertirsi. Avendo notato che eravamo stranieri Il personale della security ci ha tenuto gli occhi puntati addosso tutto il tempo. Locale troppo affollato, non si riesce neanche a camminare. Sconsigliato per chi cerca un posto più adulto.
