OGV Taproom in Aberdeen City

The staff were so sweet! Especially this wee curly redhead, Grace! For a new member of staff, she was so bubbly and friendly, made us all feel so welcomed! Will definitely be coming back because of her amazing customer service!!! 😁😁😁

Self pour taproom where the self pour doesn’t work. Better choice of beers than most and not too horrendously priced. Seems like whoever owns it had a nice idea but gave up

What a brilliant night! The Hogmanay ceilidh was fantastic. A great atmosphere and excellent ceilidh band. We will definitely be back. Loved it. The staff were really friendly too. Thanks for a great end to 2024

the service staff/bartenders are always an absolute pleasure to be served by!! i’m always greeted with a smile and warm chit chat and as always the best cocktails! No where else i’d rather spend my time after a long shift, the staff are an absolute credit to the business!

This place a bloody waste of time. Tied to go in at 1950 on sun 28th july and it was shut despite claiming to be open till 2200

Manager completely dismissive of all concerns regarding tv’s being synced up, we were there to watch the Scotland game and all the tv’s were out of sync which wouldn’t be a problem if our views of other tvs were restricted, basically just told us there was nothing he could do and ended up just switching our tv off, said there wifi couldn’t support all the tvs which pretty much defeats the purpose of holding the event in the first place, not really his fault but shouldn’t be so dismissive of anything customers have to say

The beer offering was very mediocre - you'd find more variety in a Wetherspoons pub unfortunately. It was freezing inside, their unique 'self serve' beer wall wasn't working, and when I connected to their WiFi I was warned I might get a virus. I was exploring Aberdeen craft beer venues of a night and this place by far scraped the bottom of the barrel.

Went to Newburgh venue for a Birthday tea. Very nice it was too. The staff were brilliant from start to finish. Food was great and the bill was reasonable. The atmosphere of the place was fab aswell. Whilst eating your dinner looking out of those windows is just superb. Will I be back as I say in every review I write is definitely I will. Thank you for a lovely evening

I hosted my 40th birthday party in OGV Taproom last night and it was the perfect venue for it. The staff were so professional, friendly and made sure my 40+ guests enjoyed themselves. The bar itself was a great space to chat, play pool, the photo booth was a laugh or play games. All in a friendly & welcoming atmosphere. It was also a lovely bonus to see the team arranged balloons and a card for me! Highly recommend for a couple of drinks with pals or arranging an event like I did. Thanks!

Staff were lovely, quick to serve you and well trained. But all the craft beers available were horrible in my opinion. They should have atleast one normal beer made available.

Slightly unusual place stuck out of the way in a dead end so you'd not walk past by accident! Big inside with a good range of beers on tap. Was quiet on a Friday night, a shame as they had some good beers on! Worth a look for sure.

Fantastic venue! We went on Friday to start the celebrations for my other half’s birthday with some friends. We were running late and called ahead to move our booking forwards slightly, they could not have been more helpful in assisting us with this! When we arrived we were greeted by Iain who helped get us settled and offered some of the best service we have all experienced. Our snacks were never left empty for long and cocktails (which there were plenty to chose from) were were over in a fantastic time along with having some great banter to go along with them - they even brought us some free shots to celebrate the birthday. Can’t thank all the staff enough for making our time here fantastic.

Loved the freeplay NES emulator and two pinball machines. Try the Bananarama cocktail, it's banging

A very interesting mix of business and pleasure from the OGV team here as they take collaboration to the next level! Beer, like coffee, has a real bonding effect on people and a relaxed atmosphere like this is the magic ingredient to make great collaboration happen. Amazing staff members. I went with my husband, and we r Muslims. But they were very sweet and we ordered hot chocolate and a juice. Hot chocolate was very yummy. The overall indoor vibe is very nice.

A nice atmosphere and solid range of beers. The alcohol free beer was tasty and it was easy to order some takeaway beers during the evening so I could still try some once home.

A really nice craft beer bar. Evidently quite a bit of money has been spent to make this a comfortable and welcoming place. There is plenty of room to social distance. Staff are very helpful and friendly. They provide table service just now and there is no wait to see them. Their beer is very good. There is a wide variety of styles at a reasonable price for craft beer. It seems aimed at a crowd who are not out for a wild night, but enjoy great beer and service. Toilets are clean and unique. A very good experience.

This place is awesome! Only been open open a week so I hope more people discover it. Great beer selection, friendly staff, good jukebox, love the decor, and loads of games including pinball machines. Wish I was more local, I'd be here all the time.

The place looks amazing. The beer is great with a huge variety on the menu with all local drinks. Some classic pinball machines, and I do love the self service taps. Definitely be back 👍

Well unfortunately when I popped up to the tap room on a Wednesday afternoon (18/08/21) the doors were open but I was greeted outside with the words "we are not open mate". Apparently although the opening times are shown that they would be open it was a wasted journey. I have been following this for a while on social media and thought I would add my support by trying some of the local beers. I did mention to them that updating their social media might be a good place to start. Hopeful it will be open next time I make the trip into town.

My package deal included a glass that comes with it and next day deliver My package was a week late and cost me £8 for the privilege and I have no glass. Can't get through to anybody because they don't pick up. Shan't bother again.
