The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in England

I made an impromptu lunch visit to shelter from pouring rain in the charming covered Camden Passage. I treated myself to the delicious aubergine skewer with labneh and herbs. It really is scrumptious and thankfully does not leave the evolving menu.

Stopped here yesterday whilst travelling, was very very impressed, quality of salad and meat is very high, delicious chicken and staff were very friendly would definitely recommend and come again

Beautiful lunch, friendly staff and great venue right by the river. We had the most delicious fish and chips and beef stifado. Best food we've had for ages and it was very good value for money.

Absolutely brilliant restaurant, serving authentic food and wine at a very fair price, if you like food you'll love this, it was just like being back in San Sebastian

Great food, great service. Loads of traditional dishes to choose from. Went on a Thursday night and it was still very busy yet service was very efficient.

Really excellent and delightful with a good range of food of the Middle Eastern character They found a table for a party of five at short notice and made us very welcome. Highly recommended, and the price was surprisingly reasonable for the middle of a very touristy part of Norwich.

Shared a lovely meal for 2 to celebrate anniversary, varied menu, reasonably priced and great tasting food. We have enjoyed several meals here previously and would recommend a visit to anyone.

What a lucky google find. Whilst parking up you can smell the lovely coals and grill, very inviting. The food didn’t disappoint and my kids who are fans for Cypriot dishes were very happy. Lovely atmosphere. Kind and attentive waiting staff. Lovely and clean. Plenty of space for larger parties. Reasonable prices and good portion sizes. We definitely recommend this place. We will be back.

We went here as a family group of 8 my wife’s birthday on Sat 16th November. Unfortunately the service was dreadful, slow and incompetent. They didn’t have a table prepared despite our booking, for which we arrived right on time. We weren’t attended to for 25 minutes until we asked to order our drinks. It then took a long while again to order food. Our waitress then didn’t have a basic understanding of the allergy menu or process for checking these. Our starter took 50 minutes after we got there to arrive, and our main 1h40 minutes. No explanation, apology proffered or proactive offer to remedy. Our young kids were starving and my mum in law v upset. No one checked everything was ok with the order. The manager gave us a small amount off after I suggested it to him, and after accusing us of overstating the delay. He went off the time we ordered drinks, not the time we booked. The food, when it finally came, was good but not amazing and definitely not worth the awful experience. We had to go to the bar to ask for our bill to avoid another long delay paying. Avoid until you see reviews saying the service isn’t a sh*tshow.

Pleasant restaurant. The view of the Tower of London is a plus. Fast and efficient service. The fundamentals of Italian cuisine are respected (al dente pasta etc.) The portions are average. Decent choice of wines. A downside: a wide choice of gin but no way to get a grappa. To be corrected as quickly as possible.

Take out order, very tasty, smokey chicken, large enough portions to feed a family of 4 - two adults and 2 kids 12 and 8- large chicken shish and regular, even had left overs! Paid £31 using 10% discount code. Very fast delivery this time and the food was hot! I stopped ordering kebabs from other shops as it was always a disaster!
