Very friendly & highly efficient staff. An excellent venue in which to relax after Saturday morning shopping and market day.

Great tapas bar. Good selection on the menu and we left feeling well satisfied. Really friendly waiting staff who offered good advice on what dishes they thought would suit us. We came here last year and our return visit did not dissappoint.

Amazing Friday night meal. Staff so attentive and good with our teens. Can honestly say it was the best tapas meal we'd ever had. Nice Wine, good atmosphere and amazing food. Fully recommend and will definitely return. A true gem.

This is my favourite breakfast treat. The continental is the only breakfast I have had here and I keep coming back for it.

Have been to Central 42 many times now and I can’t speak highly enough about the place. The reason we keep going back there is its good quality food served hot and delicious, super friendly and efficient service and a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and at an affordable price.

Nice welcome at the door, nice table at the window. Fantastic pancakes. Cup of tea a bit pricy at £3.40 though

A very warm welcome on arrival. Very pleasant staff. Very clean table and the food was really nice. We ordered a very big selection of tapas and it all arrived in a very efficient manner. Considering that the restaurant was full of other diners, the chefs must work so hard to get everything done so well! We enjoyed everything about the experience. Can highly recommend and we will be going again!

Very nice hosting nice bread and oil to start. Relatively basic choices for the tapas. We got calamari, prawns, patatas bravas, meatballs were very good but the ribs weren’t amazing wouldn’t order again. The drink choices were and overall the price was reasonable with a good atmosphere. Would probably go again.

Wonderful place for a bit of lunch and a drink, we got the offer of 4 tapas dishes and 2 glasses of prosecco for £28.95. And honestly 4 dishes was plenty. The food was really tasty, and so many options. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Will definitely be back to taste more of the menu ☺️

It was a busy night, we had no idea it was Lafies Day at Beverley Races when we booked the table. The staff were excellent and worked hard to take orders and get the food and drinks out. We were upstairs, which was pleasant. Great choice of tapas, all fresh and well cooked.

Had a delicious tapas with my best friend. A couple of glasses of wine which came with the deal. Good value for money, lovely staff and pleasant atmosphere. Would highly recommend. I will certainly go back!

Very clever sales techniques cost us the most expensive meal out we've ever had. Serving you drinks and making you wait for food. Waiter just coming over and filling your glass from bottle on you table. When you choose your tapas dishes. Waiter saying is that just for you making you re think the amount you're ordering. All very clever. BE WARNED!

Central 42.. simply INCREDIBLE! We were served by Fabio this evening and honestly so welcoming, friendly and proffesional. I ate pretty much the entire menu and everything i had was cooked perfectly, massive flavour! The cocktail bar has pretty much everything you could ever want and the gentleman who makes them was really good! All in this is a VERY good place to go, the most enjoyable evening with the highest standard of food ive been to for a long time! I will certainly be back here alot more! 5 STAR HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

Second visit in our 3 day stay in Beverley and the food and service again was amazing . Kyle was our waiter on both visits and couldn't do enough for us , very helpful and very professional in his manner. Highly recommend this place for fabulous Tapas.

Visited twice whilst in Beverley for the weekend. First time for tapas and the second time for breakfast. Some unusual choices for breakfast too (poached egg and chorizo which was excellent) Both times excellent food, excellent service, friendly welcoming staff. Would definitely recommend

Visited here for breakfast on Sunday morning and it was absolutely brilliant. I arrived first (as a group of three) the other two joined me later and the staff looked after me when I was sat on my own, made sure I was okay, etc. When my friends joined me we ordered food and it was delicious. The venue was fantastic, immaculately clean with a great atmosphere, highly recommend.

We stopped for lunch here while in Beverley and even though it was quite busy they had a table for two upstairs. Food was really nice with plenty of vegetarian options for my wife.

Fantastic Tapas and a wide range to choose from mean that this has to be a 'go to' venue but what makes it stand out from all the 'also rans' is the commitment to looking after customers and the clear and helpful menu which shows which dishes are gluten free. We are not an easy family to cater for with our mixture of allergies and dietary choices but Lauren was so incredibly helpful

This was my favourite restaurant in Beverley, l until I visited for lunch today. Ordered a rump steak sandwich and the meat was of very poor quality, very chewy with plenty of fat and gristle. The chips and salad were good, as was the coffee. I can understand that it's difficult to maintain standards with so many costs rising, but I think they should take steak off the menu if they can't afford decent quality. Otherwise it's just going to drive customers away. I will certainly think twice before eating there again.

Kyle and Fabio were attentive and efficient the service was first class. The atmosphere had a pleasent "buzz"but the table a little small and crampt. The food was as advertised but the portions seemed to be a little on the small size. Overall good but the price seemed a little high for the quantities involved. Will visit again in the future.

To start the food here was absolutely immense! The burger I had was so juicy! The service was great we were constantly topped up with drinks… and Boris and Damian were the absolute best 👍🏼 12/10 would deffo come back

I was hesitant to eat here as they use the phrase "tapas" a lot and I hate tapas! However eat here on my father in laws birthday and it was great. Very packed mid week and very noisy but this is obviously because its good. The staff are very pleasant and the good great. I had the steak sandwich and it was lovely. My father in law had ribs described as a tapas dish. Nothing like tapas I have eaten in Spain many times. They were delicious.

I booked a table for breakfast as my son and daughter in law wanted to celebrate their early in the day wedding with pancake stacks. The staff gave us a very friendly welcome and treated the happy couple to a glass of fizz as we arrived. The maple bacon pancakes were just as they wanted. The rest of the party had an assortment of food…. full English, small breakfast, omelette, avocado and eggs on toast and eggs with chorizo on ciabatta bread. Everyone thoroughly enjoyed their breakfasts. The coffees came quickly and the staff were polite and attentive. What a lovely experience we had on a very special morning. Thankyou Central 42

I had a bad experience with the Beverley Central 42 takeaway back in May 2021, and I really thought I wouldn't be going there again. But I did go back, and I have to say they are now on excellent form in 2024. I eat there maybe once a month, and every time the quality of the food is fabulous. The staff are welcoming and helpful in pointing out any meal deals on offer. I'm very happy to once again give FIVE stars to our Beverley Central 42.

Very average meal & dining experience. I had nearly all of the vegetarian meals and they were uninspiring - the baked aubergine had 3 small pieces, hummus was average and flatbreads lifeless, olives were ok, brie was just warm enough. Overall nothing to get excited about and won’t be returning in a hurry. Left feeling hungry as I didn’t want to order any more on the menu I love the idea of tapas but it could do with finessing.

Lovely restaurant with great helpful staff. Nothing is too much trouble and they accommodated our small children really well. Food was delightful and well priced. Plenty to choose from. It’s the second time we’ve been and we will definitely be going back!
