On a cold evening we found Central 42 by accident and were delighted by the warmth and care of the staff and the food was really delicious. As vegetarians it can be difficult to find decent choices but here there were so many dishes to enjoy. Thank you.

We were a party of 3 looking forward to a lovely night in the newly renovated Central 42. Lilly looked after us and made us feel welcome immediately. Lilly was extremely helpful and knowledgeable when it came to choosing our food, which was amazing. Thank you Lilly, we had a lovely night and will definitely be back. 👏👏👏

Was recommended to us by ottoman barbers and we just had to go, we were made most welcome, we had the most amazing tapas from a large tapas menu, 8 dishes we ordered, and everyone was amazing, delicious and we loved it, the deserts were equally delicious, highly recommend a visit to central 24 if in Beverly.

We usually eat here, when we visit Beverley. The food is good and reasonably priced. Service is first class and the place is very popular.

Visited several times, venue, atmosphere classy and elegant, especially upstairs!!! Food absolutely delicious and well presented 👏👏. Staff always super friendly, welcoming and professional. We were served by Kyle and the lovely Lauren on Wednesday, wonderful service....thank you 😊. If you like to people watch, the table upstairs next to the window, overlooking the square is great. Although this scores as an independent the choice of desserts post Christmas was limited and the ginger chocolate log had no discernible taste of ginger. It was in fact a dense sponge cake with a chocolate ganache and was quite forgettable. Good service and pleasant surroundings mean we will go again

Another great brunch. Once again we both had Belgian waffles with scarambled eggs, chorizo and spinach, and once again it proved to be a very tasty combination. The place was almost full by the time we arrived about 10 am on 30 December. Service was friendly and efficient. The place was clean. What more could you ask?

What a lovely place! Visited with a friend for lunch today and we were very impressed. The staff who greeted and served us were helpful and attentive, decor inside is cosy and stylish and the food was truly outstanding! We ordered a mixture of tapas dishes; Gambas Pil Pil was delicious, the prawns were large juicy and cooked to perfection, the sauce rich and spicy. Scallops which again were cooked perfectly and were lovely. We also ordered Tuscan Meatballs, Salt Beef Croquettes and a selection of side dishes. Service was quick, our food arrived hot and beautifully presented and everything was delicious. Highly recommend will definitely visit again…soon!

Absolutely shocking! I would avoid at all costs. The kitchen is filthy and regularly have raw ingredients sat on the floor. Potatoes peeled 2 days prior and sat on the floor in water. Meat products on the floor. Not what you want to hear once you've ordered food and payed good money! Will not be returning

Great tapas bar. Good selection on the menu and we left feeling well satisfied. Really friendly waiting staff who offered good advice on what dishes they thought would suit us. We came here last year and our return visit did not dissappoint.

Wife and I visited Central 42 today - fantastic experience, warm and friendly vibe. Waiter/front of house staff member, Kyle looked after us extremely well, always making sure we had what we needed without being intrusive. Food was spot on, we have full breakfasts each and came away very fulfilled. Atmosphere is friendly and relaxed and price came in very reasonable - if you’re in the Beverley area and hungry/thirsty, give this restaurant a try, you won’t be disappointed!!

Nice place from the outside. Rude head waitress lady/possible owner when asking for the bill to be changed which was incorrect. Ordered Tapas, two of the dishes inedible, calamari burnt, bbq ribs which were pure grizzle. Didn’t eat either and didn’t see a waiter or waitress once after food was delivered to ask for replacement. Paid and left. Should have complained more - own fault. Shame we called in as there were plenty of other better looking spots as soon as we ventured away from the main square in Beverley. Avoid avoid avoid!!! Will be back to Beverley - not to this place though!!!

Amazing Friday night meal. Staff so attentive and good with our teens. Can honestly say it was the best tapas meal we'd ever had. Nice Wine, good atmosphere and amazing food. Fully recommend and will definitely return. A true gem.

This is my favourite breakfast treat. The continental is the only breakfast I have had here and I keep coming back for it.

Tasty, no-frills food, a souped up greasy spoon in a good location. However the service was shocking. One of our dishes came out lukewarm. We told the waitress and she replied “what do you want me to do?” in a very rude tone. One member of our group with a dairy allergy asked for a soy milk latte, and was presented with a dairy milk latte. We did get an apology upon leaving.

The staff are fantastic. Really attentive but don't rush you. Breakfasts are really tasty.

Have been to Central 42 many times now and I can’t speak highly enough about the place. The reason we keep going back there is its good quality food served hot and delicious, super friendly and efficient service and a lovely atmosphere in the restaurant and at an affordable price.

Nice welcome at the door, nice table at the window. Fantastic pancakes. Cup of tea a bit pricy at £3.40 though

A very warm welcome on arrival. Very pleasant staff. Very clean table and the food was really nice. We ordered a very big selection of tapas and it all arrived in a very efficient manner. Considering that the restaurant was full of other diners, the chefs must work so hard to get everything done so well! We enjoyed everything about the experience. Can highly recommend and we will be going again!

Very nice hosting nice bread and oil to start. Relatively basic choices for the tapas. We got calamari, prawns, patatas bravas, meatballs were very good but the ribs weren’t amazing wouldn’t order again. The drink choices were and overall the price was reasonable with a good atmosphere. Would probably go again.

Wonderful place for a bit of lunch and a drink, we got the offer of 4 tapas dishes and 2 glasses of prosecco for £28.95. And honestly 4 dishes was plenty. The food was really tasty, and so many options. The staff were wonderful and friendly. Will definitely be back to taste more of the menu ☺️

It was a busy night, we had no idea it was Lafies Day at Beverley Races when we booked the table. The staff were excellent and worked hard to take orders and get the food and drinks out. We were upstairs, which was pleasant. Great choice of tapas, all fresh and well cooked.

Had a delicious tapas with my best friend. A couple of glasses of wine which came with the deal. Good value for money, lovely staff and pleasant atmosphere. Would highly recommend. I will certainly go back!

Very clever sales techniques cost us the most expensive meal out we've ever had. Serving you drinks and making you wait for food. Waiter just coming over and filling your glass from bottle on you table. When you choose your tapas dishes. Waiter saying is that just for you making you re think the amount you're ordering. All very clever. BE WARNED!

Central 42.. simply INCREDIBLE! We were served by Fabio this evening and honestly so welcoming, friendly and proffesional. I ate pretty much the entire menu and everything i had was cooked perfectly, massive flavour! The cocktail bar has pretty much everything you could ever want and the gentleman who makes them was really good! All in this is a VERY good place to go, the most enjoyable evening with the highest standard of food ive been to for a long time! I will certainly be back here alot more! 5 STAR HIGHLY RECCOMEND!

Visited twice whilst in Beverley for the weekend. First time for tapas and the second time for breakfast. Some unusual choices for breakfast too (poached egg and chorizo which was excellent) Both times excellent food, excellent service, friendly welcoming staff. Would definitely recommend

Visited here for breakfast on Sunday morning and it was absolutely brilliant. I arrived first (as a group of three) the other two joined me later and the staff looked after me when I was sat on my own, made sure I was okay, etc. When my friends joined me we ordered food and it was delicious. The venue was fantastic, immaculately clean with a great atmosphere, highly recommend.

We stopped for lunch here while in Beverley and even though it was quite busy they had a table for two upstairs. Food was really nice with plenty of vegetarian options for my wife.

Fantastic Tapas and a wide range to choose from mean that this has to be a 'go to' venue but what makes it stand out from all the 'also rans' is the commitment to looking after customers and the clear and helpful menu which shows which dishes are gluten free. We are not an easy family to cater for with our mixture of allergies and dietary choices but Lauren was so incredibly helpful
