Had a great experience at Turquoise Kitchen Bar & Grill in Chelmsford! We were served by Aayush and Olcay, who were both incredibly hospitable and friendly. Aayush was especially attentive to our dietary needs, which we really appreciated. The lamb chops were absolutely delicious – definitely a standout dish. Overall, excellent service, tasty food, and a warm atmosphere. Highly recommend!

Fantastic set-up in the heart of the town centre. The atmosphere is wonderful, and everything is well furnished and nicely kept. All service was polite, friendly and quick. Food was excellent. Picture is the mixed grill and the chicken shish, which were delicious. Would HIGHLY recommend.

Over the last five years we've gotten to know the staff and management. Really take the time to make access for disabled friends and family easy. Food is excellent, they're always happy to answer questions even about their great decor, crockery and glassware. Our go to restaurant in Chelmsford bar none.

Lovely Mother's Day lunch with my Mum and my son who treated us. We were a little late due to traffic and a diversion as a road was closed. However, we were warmly welcomed and taken straight to a table (we were able to choose where we wanted to sit as it wasn't busy) We went on a Saturday at 1.30. We were asked if we wanted drinks first and weren't rushed as we chose our food selection. Mum isn't a big eater so chose a starter of bbq sticky wings with a side of rice and salad which they brought out at the same time as mine and my son's mains. We had a delicious selection of cold starters with lovely warmed bread. Also falafel with humus and salad plus crispy fried calamari rings. Our mains were chicken shish and a mixed shish, both served with rice and salad. All were very tasty and the portion size was good. We finished with 2 Turkish coffees and a Turkish tea. Thoroughly enjoyed the whole meal and time spent together. Lovely decor and the ambience was comfortable and enjoyable. First visit here and no doubt, not the last!

First visit to this restaurant. Service was attentive and friendly with a nice ambience but chairs could be more comfortable as no lower back support. Ordered the Mix Grill as it clearly said on the menu that the selection would include chicken wings (plural) and lamb chops (plural). I was disappointed when the food arrived there was only one chicken wing and one lamb chop. Caveat emptor when it comes to the Mix Grill!

Great food and drink. Great service and friendly too. All round a lovely evening. I had the meat moussaka and the Hazelnut dessert, both of which were lovely.

This restaurant is mind blowing!! The food is a 10/10 everything was so delicious sounding! I got the lamb shank and it was delicious. The Appletini cocktail was also beautiful and highly recommend! Mohamed and Amanda were amazing servers.

Aayush served us well and the restaurant is beautiful. We were unfortunately served a meat mussaka after ordering a veggie mussaka (we are vegetarian) but the staff replaced it immediately and gave us 50% off on the dish. The food was amazing quality and generous portions but definitely on the expensive side. Overall a good experience.

My first time here and it definitely won't be my last The service was 5 star, felt like I was on holiday. The food was excellent, not greasy and visually so appealing. Gutted I didn't take pictures. Absolutely the worst Turkish I have ever been to Spend the extra in a taxi and go to taz!

Very good Turkish restaurant and I have eaten at many. Ate off the lunchtime menu excellent value at £15.00 each My wife had the lamb casserole, warned by our excellent waiter Aayush that it could be chewy, but it was very tender and tasty. I had possibly the best Adana kebab I have ever had,tasy and juicy. Music was a bit loud and we had a couple of girls seated behind us who were swearing quite a lot but as we were finishing our lunch we didn't bother Aayush about it. Overall excellent service from Aayush, excellent food, clean toilets and good tasty food at a good price.

Went for dinner with friends... ambience, food, and drinks were good. However, the opening hours online DON'T match their actual opening... they close at 10.30 pm! But says 12am online. The venue is much smaller than what it looks like online. I must say customer service was very good, though. Parking was also an issue.

This restaurant and the whole experience was average, it was on the pricey side and the portion sizes were small which is a double whammy when considering it as an option in future

Very poor. Wanted to order beyti and at 7.30pm they didn't have any. We wanted to order another bottle of wine at 9pm amd were told we needed to drink it by 9.30pm as they didn't have many customers and wanted to close. We're promptly left and went to the wine bar opposite the station which was friendly and had a welcoming atmosphere. Won't be revisiting turquoise kitchen, extremely disappointy, their website offers so much more than they can deliver.

OLJAY’s service was top tier and food was fab.

We came as a huge group as a booking with added people unannounced. Oljay and Aayush handled it well. Understandably the food and taking orders was slower than we would like as a group of hungry customers. But everyone enjoyed their food not one issue. And they really looked after us. If we are ever in the area again we would come back.

Food was very nice but well over priced ,I paid £25 for 2 bits of lamb and 3 bits of chicken some rice and gabbage. The surroundings are very nice and clean but our server was not brilliant maybe an off day.

I pre ordered for 6pm and the food didn't arrive until approx 7.20pm. The food was cold and the bread was so hard we couldn't eat it.

I came to this beautiful super friendly and extremely clean resturant for my daughters graduation , WOW WOW WOW !!! The best salmon I’ve ever eaten and in fact all of the food we ate was just fantastic !!! The cocktails were amazing too . Lovely atmosphere and free shots from the manager as it was my daughters special day . Kinda sad I’m not nearer as I would chose this resturant for all special occasions . Next time I visit my daughter who lives locally I will be requesting to visit here again … Thank-you to the staff for being so very lovely and to the chef who is equally great at cooking up a storm . I visited this restaurant on my birthday with my family and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves . Beautiful ambience, lovely staff, delicious food and very prompt. Pricing was ok. Aayush and Olcay were amazing host. Olcay ensured I got a free mocktail to celebrate with. Highly recommend and will def be visiting soon again

Came in for a takeaway and was treated really well by the staff members including Ojay. He took the time to tell me about the food and I was treated to a Turkish tea on the house. Really lovely atmosphere and really good food too. Definitely worth a visit just for the staff let alone the food.
