The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in England

Anita serving at the counter is a delightful person, polite engaged in her job, smiley and helpful , She actually brought my second order to my table. Great personal, customer service. ⭐️

I am so disappointed by the total experience. All they want to do is churn out customers and make as much money as possible. We arrived a little early and immediately the waitress at the door says we have 2 hours from the moment we take the table. I said in that case we will wait outside until out actual reservation time as we were still waiting for others. At that point she conceded and let us sit at our table 20 minutes earlier - what was she going to do with the table otherwise? Serve someone else in the 20 minute gap? Fast forward to ordering our food and one of the main meals does not arrive. The waiter says when giving everyone their meal that he will go and grab it now, we wait 10minutes he comes back and says it’ll be 5 more minutes then leaves and returns again and say it’ll be a few more minutes, at this point we cancel the food as the table are sat with they meals already half eaten. The waiter offers no apology. When asked later why it didn’t arrive with the other meals he finally explains that he managed to forget to put the order through, again, with no apology. As we finish dessert he comes with the bill that we haven’t yet asked for (only 1.5hrs into a 2hr reservation) and asks us to pay as he needs the table. I am absolutely appalled by this service. I could make my peace with the overpriced food if we had had a nice meal but it was completely ruined. We will not be returning there again and do not recommend it.

We chose The Boot Tepee to celebrate my daughter’s 21st Birthday with close friends and family. It was the perfect set up for us. Kathy, who organises all of the events was extremely helpful throughout as were staff on the day when we dropped off a birthday cake, balloons, photo boards etc. Everyone commented on how lovely the Tepee was and how good the food was too - there are several options to choose from for food - buffet style’ . We all had an amazing time and my daughter loved it! We were so lucky with the weather but as the evening went cooler the fire pit in the Tepee was great. A special thank you to Lottie for looking after us so well on the evening, checking in with me regularly and ensuring our guests had drinks etc. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend The Tepee at The Boot for a celebration, we had 22 guests in all and although it can accommodate a few more, this gave us ample room to be comfortable in the Tepee and dance around the fire pit! Thank you for making it so special for us .

Visited at the weekend with friends, had tomato and basil soup, with garlic, seasalt and tomato flat bread, it wa so good, that I took my hubby there yesterday for lunch, and had the same! Lovely staff, decor is fab. Definitely recommended 👌

Always used bilals as our takeaway choice untill recently got bad food poisoning from kebab! Not sure if it was left to long or not, but disappointed.

Shocking service as an Uber Driver trying to pick up. Rakesh left me sat there for over 30 minutes waiting for an order. 30 minutes for 3 sandwiches to be made and a cookie… Every person who walked in after me was served straight away and just left me sat there like I haven’t got customers to attend to. Again, shocking service for your customers who have ordered.

Red peas soup, the kidney beans were under cooked and inedible. Ackee & salt fish was over priced for the portion size and didn't taste nice

I ordered one Loubieh B'Zeit (With Rice) and received one Bamieh B'Zeit (With Rice) instead, which we hate it!

Unfortunately the food wasnt great and was overpriced for what it was. The shisha was decent and we got regular coal changes. The toilets are situated in Boga steak house next door, these were the most weirdest toilets ever, with no locks and in 2/3 of the stalls the door could not shut. In the one stall that the door could shut, the light did not work. Friendly and lovely staff, 10/10 service very welcoming! just a shame about the other things.

Beautiful place, food lovely and such good value. Service also excellent, so friendly and didn't rush you at all. Will definitely go there again and will recommend it to all my family and friends.

I had a fantastic time here! The food was top-notch, especially the breakfast pastries, which were delicious and presented beautifully. The friendly team made me feel right at home, greeting me warmly and sending me off with a smile. I can't wait to come back for more of the lovely food and to experience that welcoming atmosphere again. Highly recommend this place!

First and last time trying Cafe Giardino. I ordered the poached eggs, with avocado and tomato on brown (breakfast option), it was shocking. My food arrived and as soon as it was put on my table I could see a shell still stuck on one of my eggs, so not a great start but these things happen sometimes. Where do I start.. the eggs which I could see them poaching in the microwave had a hard boiled centre when I cut into them, not runny how a poached egg is meant to be, with no seasoning whatsoever. The eggs were on top on 2 burnt bits of brown bread. On the side of the plate was a cold tomato which had just been taken out of the fridge, chopping into a few slices and put on the plate, along side a few slices of avocado which had already been cut earlier in the day as it was already turning brown, all of this with no seasoning at all. The blandest and worst breakfast I have ever had. They charge £10.95 for 1/2 bland cold tomato chopped into slices (no seasoning) , 1/2 browning avocado again cut into slices & bland (not even cut into chucked and mixed with lemon juice a bit of salt and pepper), 2 burnt pieces of brown bread and 2 over done microwaved poached eggs. After the first bite I left the food and cafe, I was shocked that they could serve something like this. It’s safe to say I will not be going back.

Ordered three kebabs through just eat. Cost around £45. They didn't even send any sauces. In fact, they wanted another £6 for sauces. An absolute rip off. The portions were small and cold. I will never eat from this place again.
