We were so happy to find this restaurant. They have lots of plant based options and also cater for gluten free and other dietary needs. Blooms is situated in an modern and stylish activity centre which offers bowling, curling, crazy pool, crazy golf and a luxury cinema. We both ordered the vegan curry which was tasty and came quickly. We also treated ourselves to a vegan sundae for dessert! Thebprices are not cheap but we felt it was fair for what we had, considering the area and the cost of food these days. The service was attentive and the restaurant has curved booths so you feel quite private even though other diners are quite nearby. We loved it here and will definitely be back! Don't forget to check out the toilets as their design is so unusual!

Our first time here at Blooms. We found the staff very friendly and helpful despite the crowd and orders overload on them. We loved the food. It was tasty and of a good portion per person. We would definitely visit again.

I’m a pretty fussy eater so I always order the same meal and it’s amazing, had to leave a review because it was overcooked this time and they were so fast to replace it with no questions asked, just really appreciated it - thank you

Building and atmosphere is very nice. Food was quick and also very nice. Plenty of seats. Very large menu including kids menu. Very accommodating to allergies. Staff very helpful and friendly. Priced fairly. Would highly recommend. Menu can be found in their website.

Really nice tapas, well priced and just the right size and reasonably priced for £5.50. We had iced drinks which were good. The staff were friendly and accommodating and even suggested we move tables when a group of kids came in celebrating a birthday, so kudos for identifying the issue before we raised it.

Second time eating here. Nothing negative to write about. Nice place. Food is really nice. The flatbread pizzas are very tasty and filling. Staff are always nice and helpful. We were served by a new member of staff called Bilal. Great service. You pay on the way out at the till which is nice rather than waiting around. Will be using again.

Called into Blooms for a quick bite to eat after a trip to BGGC with our 3 year old grandson. At 3 he simply wanted some beans on toast - the kids menu didn’t have this so we asked if they could do some - we were told they didn’t have any toast - so the only way we could get beans was to order sausage chips and beans - and a side order order of bread and butter which wasn’t a problem? Not sure how toast couldn’t be available but slices of bread and butter could be. So we ended up with an uneaten plate of sausage and chips. Slightly disappointed with this lack of flexibility.

Visited on the 13th for a table of two for a late lunch/early dinner. Decided to go all out on 3 courses, can’t fault the service. Friendly team, good food and very swish décor throughout (even the napkins were cool). Just what I needed after losing at table golf!

Food was horrible. Pizza is the worst pizza I have ever tried. Sauce was all watery, barely any cheese, pineapple was flavourless and looked unfresh, pepperoni wasn’t cooked right, everything about it was horrible. Service was the only thing alright.

I went here the other day as part of my visit to the garden centre. Hand sanitizer was mandatory upon arrival. I was the only person in here for a shile so felt very safe. Staff had PPE on and food was served from a distance. You had to go to the till to pay but thats the only time you left your seat. The type of good offered was rapas style starters , typical pub grub such as lasange and curry , pizza flat breads , burgers and desserts. There is also a children's menu. I ordered the Spanish Garden flat bread which was chorizo , chicken and cheese. The pizza was a very good size , you could tell it was made to order and the flavours were very good. I am not a fan of rocket but it was not overkill. Prices I thought were reasonable and it was nice that there was further choice than just the cafe and restaurant in the garden centre.

Lovey place, unusual decor (look upwards on arrival into the restaurant!), bright booths and very peaceful. Tables not crowded together, lots of space. Toilets are unusual too! The menu, although limited, was still big enough to choose plenty of different dishes . Our food arrived, piping hot, very tasty and beautifully presented. The lasagne was one of the nicest i've had-meaty, cheesy and salad dressing was pleasant too. Chicken curry was slso very nice. Had to try dessert- black cherry cheesecake was divine and the lemon meringue sundae was refreshing. In a world that is going a little off piste right now, a place of peaceful, tasteful and relaxing surroundings is a must. And we must go again! Highly recommend Blooms.

Firstly I have to say that the Covid 19 protocol is 5 star. The food was fine but wasn't value for money, I had the chilli and at £13 I expected much better it had been pre-prepared and then microwaved. My wife had the pulled pork burger and sauce was too much thus spoiling the food. The restaurant is clean but the staff seemed switched off and uninterested. We won't be returning

This is a lovely restaurant. The service was excellent, with friendly and attentive staff; decor was beautiful, and the food was delicious.Meticulous measures have been put in place to ensure safety during the current Covid 19 crisis, and we felt it is being well handled. We ate during the 50% off scheme, so our meal was very reasonable. It would be considerably more expensive obviously in normal circumstances.

We had ordered our meals in advance as we were a large group.Apart from problems caused by one person changing their order at the table and a dessert that was overlooked service throughout, which was a team effort, was good. Both the starters and desserts were generously sized. Mains were decently sized. So some who ordered three courses rather than two struggled to finish their desserts. The overall quality of the food was good. There is a good range of alcoholic and soft drinks.I had the goat's cheese and field mushroom burger with added bacon. There was a generous portion of cheese. At first I was disappointed by the quantity of mushroom provided, but them I found a second, larger, mushroom hiding under the cheese which made the relative proportions of cheese, mushroom, and bacon just right. The tomato relish that came with the fries was nicely flavoured - tangy rather than sweet. The sticky toffee pudding was a little too dense for me - a lighter texture for the sponge would have been better. The most confusing element of the service was the receipt I received. The prices you pay are found in the descriptions of the items whereas the price column (on the right hand side) show the prices excluding VAT which is then added as a separate item.Overall it was good value for money given the type of menu. I would be happy to eat here again when I'm in the area.

We had tickets to see the ballet starting at 7.30. We arrived at 6.30 to the restaurant hoping to be seated and fed before the start. We advised the servers of our timings and they certainly looked after us. We had chicken burger and chipsAnd lasagne it was amazing. The best lasagne I have had in a long time! Not too expensive. Service was quick and attentive. Really is a hidden gem. The ocean restaurant is part of the flower bowl and isn’t really too goo, see other review but Bloom is lovely. Clean too!

The service was slow and inattentive, we waited for quite a while for our drinks and food. The staff weren’t really all that interested in customer care. I would hate to see how they’d manage if it was busy. The food was a bit hit and miss. A fair bit of it felt like it was just straight out of the freezer and into the fryer which is a shame considering what is sold across the road in the farm shop. The flatbread we ordered wasn’t bad, just nothin special.

We went for a trundle out to Barton Grange. It has been a year or so since our last visit and was pleasantly surprised by the new leisure facilities there. Forgetting the garden centre we went to Blooms restaurant. To be honest, the menu was limited, so my husband had the chuck beef chilli, I had the soup of the day and the pate. Oh My! The soup was to die for, plus, it was piping piping hot. The pate was lush too, but the soup, did I mention the soup? My husband thoroughly enjoyed his chilli and it was a huge portion. The service was great so no complaints from us.

On arrival all seemed fine for a standard meal. Nicely decorated. We were seated and then had to ask 4 times over 20 minutes to order a drink. People kept coming and as we asked to order were told “il send someone over”. Trying to get hold of a staff members attention is literally a professional sport. They couldn’t have cared less. We finally got the only member of staff that seemed to know what they were doing to sort us out. Poor service, disinterested staff, chaos! The food was fine but really let down by the service. Two tiny glasses came out with the wine that was just plonked on the table as they had “run out of bigger ones”... can’t have been more than 10 people including us in the restaurant at the time.

Greeting on arrival was good, but then waited for 15 minutes before staff were ready to take our order (I think there were only 2 tables occupied in the entire restaurant.) The staff attitude seemed to be very demotivated. Food was very average for the price.

Prepaid tickets for the Andre Rieu Streamed performance, including a meal in the Blooms Restaurant. Allowed 1hour 45 minutes for the meal. After being seated waited 20 minutes, then went to reception to ask if someone would take our order, 10 minutes later our order was taken and a bottle of wine to drink. This came to the table with two glasses plonked down unopened and the server just turned round and left. When we called him back to open it the reply was “We don’t do that.”. 20 minutes on still not received our starter, asked for the manager to come and discuss problem. Saturday night, special event and no restaurant manager on site. Now getting uptight as it’s 25minutes to show still not received our starter, time to complain again. Our main course has arrived, not good news as we have not had our starter, waitress looks at us blankly, holding the dishes. Again had to get another person to explain to the poor girl to take them back and bring out the starters. Starters arrived but they are the wrong ones, back to the kitchen finally got it correct. The main course arrived which were the original ones despite being promised we would receive fresh ones they were very poor, two steak pies, with french fries, mushy peas. The french fries were cold, the pie and peas room temperature, we were so disillusioned, and disappointed that we just left most of it. This had been prepaid on booking one month in advance. There were plenty of staff walking around, looking but not seeing what was required of them. From where I was sat I could see two waitress gather frequently and stop to chat by the cutlery stationIt was revealed that people coming in to see films were having meals and there was a backlog in the kitchen. A couple who arrived similar time sat quietly said nothing, and finally received their starter 10 minutes before the show began. We had to be seated as it was a live screening of a performance.A lot of money has been spent decorating the place and it does look good, but the quality of the decor does little against the inferiority of the customer service. The majority of staff were students untrained and disinterested in customer service and the restaurant lacked two fundamental staff for a Saturday Night a Restaurant Manager, and a Supervisor to organise the smooth process of a restaurant.

4 of us visited Blooms last night as part of the package of 2 course meal & cinema tickets for Westlife. We allowed 1hr 1/2 for the meal & it was a good job we did. All of us plumped for the flatbead which was delicious. Not one member of staff explained the meal option arrangement when the menus were brought to us.

I visited Barton Grange to attend the Lancashire Health Research Showcase which was excellent. On my departure I noted the Flower Bowl and decided to investigate. Here I came across Blooms Restaurant and decided to have lunch. The tapas starter was small but tasty, the vegetarian burger was oversized and didn't really need a side of fries! The elderflower presse is very refreshing. The staff are pleasant and efficient. The next Research Showcase is October 2019 so I will be visiting Blooms again.

Visited this place last week with my wife and it was fantastic. We both had fish, chips, peas and gravy. The portion size was very generous and the fish was cooked to absolute perfection! We got a regular sized fish, but it was huge! The batter was crispy and golden and the fish was so clean and white. There wasn't a drop of grease, it was just perfect! If I'm honest, it's the only chippy that I would go to from now on and I can't wait to go again! :)

Such a shame to find this iconic traditional hostelry is still closed. Fantastic interior, great beer and great food. Sam Smiths pubs are always very well kept and this was always a destination pub whenever we visited the Fylde. We've now moved into the area so we're really hoping it will reopen soon.
