Great food, fast friendly service, atmosphere absolutely superb.

Saturday 9th November 2024 Today, this great real ale pub visited this well run old-fashioned real ale pub has everything good about it The ample amount of real ales on today were fantastic. The clients' staff great Keep up the good work all involved

Brilliant pub and taking dogs in 🐕

Thought we would try this pub for lunch. It was nice to see a ramp for wheelchair users to access the building. A warm friendly welcome when we arrived. We ordered home made steak pie and hunters chicken. The food arrived quickly and it was very hot as well as generous portions. The food tasted great and my other half loved the home made steak pie. Fab place to eat , we will definately be returning for more meals. Thankyou to all staff for a lovely lunch.

Loads of outdoor seating, free parking, serves food, but didn’t try but will next time we visit, friendly atmosphere, nice pub, wheelchair accessible, pet friendly, they seem to cater for special occasions too, I will definitely recommend.

Called in three times this week while on holiday in Blackpool wow the food is great desserts to die for we were in the restaurant part & the waitress is so friendly such a lovely girl back again in October & we will definitely be back highly recommended this great pub

Had roast beef dinner loved it and you got alot for your money

We had a lovely family meal but unfortunately my choice of vegetarian lasagna wasn't available. Very good portions of each course. Good value for money! Be warned though, if a bowls match is on then parking is rather tight. Would definitely recommend the Strawberry Gardens!

Went here with friends on July 27th before the football as it is right near Fleetwood Town's ground. Quite expensive at well over 5 pounds per pints. Service was painfully slow and there were long queues as a result. The staff were friendly and the pints were good. Place was clean, including the bathrooms. Food looked good, but again expensive and service was slow, so we stuck with drinks.

Service was really poor when I visited on a very busy Saturday lunchtime when there was clearly far too few staff on duty. I sat outside at one of their picnic tables with my pint of ale. At one point, i went to the toilet and when I returned my glass, which had still contained about a third of a pint, was gone. A customer, who was sitting at the other side of my table, told me that the pot man had just taken it away. At the bar i ordered and paid for haddock and chips for lunch and was told it would take about an hour. When the food finally arrived there was no cutlery and when I asked for a knife and fork the girl said the cutlery was inside the pub. I said "Do I have to get it myself?" Despite being disabled and with my crutch clearly propped up next to me, she said, quite curtly, "I'm too busy." So i went inside, couldn't find a cutlery station, and resorted to taking a knife and fork from another table. On the plus side, the cask ale was very good. The food was ok.

Proper old-fashioned boozer (but with modern clear windows). Gorgeous food, good beer selection, friendly and helpful staff who couldn't do enough to make you happy.

We visit Strawberry Gardens about 3 or 4 times a year with my Aunt & Uncle, and always have food. We wouldn't go anywhere else, great offers, food is always fantastic quality, tasty and hot. And the waitress is always attentive. Recommend the steak pie and cheese & onion pie, chips are to die for. I can't comment about the puddings as we are always full from the main meal! Well deserved 5 stars 🌟 👏

Stumbled across this place while visiting Fleetwood in my motorhome and glad I did what a place Sunday dinner fantastic staff really friendly and the added bonus live music outside can't wait to return.

This is a very welcoming place with well portioned food. We had cheese pie and steak pie. Both excellent with the steak succulent. For sweet the cheese cake was perfect and the eaton mess very refreshing. The is definitely a place we will visit again to further sample the menu. Very good vfm.

Had not too good a Sunday dinner experience here a couple of years back and because it was so bad we never ate here again for a Sunday lunch but they have Definitely turned it around..... really appreciate it and will definitely recommend to friends 👌

Went to watch Fleetwood Vs Northampton left at time because Northampton where losing so went here friendly staff good beer could do with decorating

Excellent food and service , well priced will definitely be calling in again soon . Lots to choose from on the menu and at the moment the 40% off mains makes it one of the cheapest around especially for home made food.

Went in from a recommendation from some friends but it didn't cut the mustard... Kids rolling round on the floor and a bit of live music from some locals. We went in and quickly exited the establishment. Horrid.

The food was fantastic and priced well. We had our dog with us so ate in the vault which is the dog friendly area. The roast potatoes were the best I've ever had.

Absolutely amazing service from Peter tonight, made us feel welcome as soon as we came through the door, food was really hot and fresh, all of us loved every meal we ordered, will be 100% coming back for food, credit to the chefs on shift that delivered very good quality food tonight. If I could give more stars I would.

We visited on a Friday evening the pub is spotlessly clean, the staff were very helpful and welcoming, the real ale was very good and the food was excellent. A member of staff even came over with a bowl of water and a box of dog biscuits for our dog. The pub is very dog friendly. We would definitely recommend this place.

We were staying nearby in our camper van and decided to find somewhere for Sunday lunch, looked at the previous reviews and decided to give The Strawberry Gardens a try. We were very glad we did, nice selection of real ales and other libations, Sunday lunch was £25 for two people including a drink which we thought was great value before we received our meal, this became fantastic value when the food arrived. Would have no hesitation in recommending you visit here.

Absolutely brilliant place to eat...the food is always great..I've tried quite a few things on the menu, all day breakfast, Sunday roast, sausage +bacon casserole, steak and chips......I've also asked other diners what they have thought....not heard a bad word.. There is plenty of parking, it's easy to get to from any direction...it's child friendly, clean toilets, 50p for a game of pool, very welcoming and friendly atmosphere....10/10 from me....

The meals were great both quality and price and decent real ale too. Service good too despite some elderly indulged customers moaning about nothing they remained polite and helpful, I certainly wouldn't have been so nice so well done them .

We came here as we needed a dog friendly pub as we were traveling with a dog. They were beyond caring and accommodating - even offering an inside space as 'it looked like it may rain'. Food was delicious, service exemplary and a lovely atmosphere. Wouldn't hesitate to visit again

Just started going as our local staff are fecking awesome, homemade food lovely and beer what's not to like

Nice little dog friendly pub in the heart of Fleetwood. Good selection of drinks, and food. Chips were a little disappointing, as menu says they are done in beef dripping (can be done in veg oil) so was expecting really good chips, but for me they were too hard, the fish was great (as you would expect in Fleetwood), and my partner said her steak pie was good, nice atmosphere, friendly people in there, all in all a good place to visit, but for me lost a star for the chips.

Good food. Nice pint. Since my last visit. when I rated as good It has got better. Selection has improved including a lot of home cooked. Offers on off peak and loyalty card discounts available.

Food Delius and fresh, staff lovely

Food was very nice. Only thing is there weren’t enough chips, and the small amount was covered by the fish. Food was still so nice, with delicious and unique dishes. The Eton mess desert was delicious too. I recommend eating here. The only photo I had of that was with me so I edited myself out and the pic is bad.

Great pub the roast dinner special was excellent ...and great value.. First time visit been meaning to go for a while the place itself is super tidy loads of room comfy lovely beer garden organised car park the staff were excellent and its dog freindly they made a fuss of our dalmatian wilf absolutely will be going back .. one small point cask beer choice was a little compromised as three of the pumps were not in use but plenty of foreign beers on keg and Belgian bottled stuff available ... you must visit this place excellent .. easy to find from the sea front area

We visited this pub for the first time last week, on Tuesday . The bar staff were very friendly and welcoming. The pub was very busy with Crown Green bowling on. I had my tea there and had the lasagne with a side of chips. The meal was well-presented and very tasty. We returned the following day and had drinks only. The welcome was the same with different staff. It's a very nice place with a well looked after beer garden. Both visits were very enjoyable.

Belting food, friendly service and an exceptionally enjoyable atmosphere. Enjoying a Sunday lunch with a 40 piece brass band in the background can’t really be beaten! Highly recommended

Had a school reunion lunch yesterday and had a brilliant time. There were 6 of us and I was impressed all the meals came out almost together!! Been to some snobby places were you waited for ages! Everyone was happy with their starters and main 👍😁 Never judge a book by its cover!

My husband and I visited this lovely pub. We both had chicken wings to Start with and were surprised at the size of the portion, we were glad as they were lovely! We both had steak and chips and it was home cooked it was perfect, we opted for the peppercorn sauce and it was lovely. The staff were very welcoming and the service was 5*. We will be definitely be visiting again .

I’d give 5 star as the food was beyond good! The only improvement is it just needs a few hanging baskets and flowers outside to make it look a bit more visually appealing besides that what a lovely pub grub. If you drop by for food you won’t be disappointed the pizza was gorgeous and same with the mixed grill cooked perfect couldn’t fault it.

This place is a hidden gem. You would probably drive past this place. We called in after being starving and didn’t get a good initial impression. We was wrong locals sat outside friendly and inside a lovely traditional local pub. They offer a two mains for £13.95 and a good selection of other mains. The food was plentiful and tasty. A great stop off.

This used to be my favorite pub in town when I was coming to Fleetwood every September for the Folk festivals, until they ended in 2014. Visiting the town again I was pleased to find that it still served a real cider (although it used to stock two) and my vegan wife was pleased to find it served a good vegan chili. However we were put off by the conspicuous displays of posters supporting a political party (the Brexit Party) whose views and attitudes are not ours, and went elsewhere for our third night out.

The quality of food and the selection is excellent, can't be beaten by any pub in Fleetwood, add to that it's better than a lot of so called restaurants.

The burgers very high quality freshly made tender and juicy. And it’s also family friendly if in Fleetwood give it a try 👍

Visited Fleetwood as a group of 9 and 2 dogs on a shopping trip. After shopping we were very hungry. So we googled the nearest pub that served food. We arrived at the strawberry gardens and from the front it didn't look to promising. After checking if we could bring dogs in we decided to give it a go. The pub was clean welcoming and the lady behind the bar was very friendly. When the food arrived it was gorgeous. In the group we had fish and chips, lasagne, curry, cheese and onion pie and steak and onion pie. Everybody loved their food. If we're ever in Fleetwood then we will eat here.

Food and service is excellent, the pies are the best I've had in a long time, reasonably priced too. Everyone enjoyed everything they had, definitely recommend this place.

A couple of months ago we decided to visit family in the area for Christmas. We tried various places who were all fully booked, and you begin to think what places are left , everyone else doesn't want. I came across the strawberry gardens pub, I rang them up and they could get us a table of 5 anytime of the day. The alarm bells started to ring....what's the catch? I had looked at trip advisor and photos and reviews seemed really good, so we went with it. We pulled up at the car park , and first impressions weren't very good. It looked quite run down, and we were wondering what are we doing. As soon as we went in, everything changed. A good variety of beers, lovely seating areas for meals and lovely staff.We were seated and had pre ordered our food. Cian was credit to the pub, he was waiting on most of the tables even though he was chef's assistant. He made us feel comfortable and didn't pressurise us in any way to get the meal started and finished as soon as possible.Starters were pigeon, soup, pate and camembert. Between us , we had all of the starters and we couldn't fault any of it for presentation and taste. Onto the mains and we had Turkey and venison, which again we couldn't fault, the venison especially was extra tender and beautifully presented. We had bowls of vegetables on the side. Desserts we had berry mess and chocolate Tarte and again the presentation and taste, just rounded off what could only be described as the best Christmas meal out we have ever had. At £45 per person, this was amazing value for money. Cian and the rest of the staff were brilliant, the meal was amazing and we can't stop gloating to other friends, who paid a lot more and got a lot less. Thank you so much Cian and strawberry gardens for making our Christmas that bit extra special

I visit the strawberry once a month to catch up with an old friend. They always have gorgeous food and wonderful warm people who are very inviting. I feel like this place is home away from home

My wife and I eat here on a very regular basis, on average weekly. the "2 for £10.99" menu is very good value indeed. The food is always fresh cooked, the chips especially are excellent.The house red is £9.99 a bottle and perfectly drinkable.At just under £21 for two decent meals and a bottle of wine we can afford to go every week :)

Been here about 5 times for food now and it’s always been spot on! The food is fresh homemade food and great quality! The chef always comes out and asks if everything is ok and the presentation of the food is fantastic! Been for Sunday dinner this affy and it didn’t disappoint lovely thank you

Went to the Strawberry Gardens for my friends birthday on thursday 19/09/2019 we had a lovely time the food was beautiful and even though it was afternoon the place was lively, and the lady behind the bar was lovely and helpful, chef was a pleasent young man with a lovely smile would definetly go again.

Strawberry gardens is a traditional old fashioned pub with an extensive range of meals and snacks.. the servings on some meals are huge the baby ribs for example are two racks with trimmings , the fish and chips where lovely but the haddock was a small serving , I expected it to be bigger, the homemade steak pie was lovely ..

I travelled as part of a team to the bowling green behind this establishment and of course called in for a few beers during the course of the day. I found the staff to be quick to respond, attentive and polite.

Not quite what we were expecting, based from the TripAdvisor reviews, as this is definitely a pub rather than a “Bistro”.

I've just eaten here and the food was great. I had the chilli and my better half had the rack of ribs (it was huge). The staff were friendly (not pushy), the portions were great and the price was very good.

My friend treated me to a birthday tea and a catch up following her recommendation from a previous visit. After ordering at the bar, which didn’t bother me at all, we sat at our table which was clean and well replenished. The food didn’t take long to arrive and the service was great, smiley and very attentive throughout the evening. My dish, chicken tikka was the best I’ve ever tasted! Extremely delicious, fresh, flavoursome and plenty of chicken within a good sized portion. My husband had the Cajun chicken which again was freshly marinated and tasty, not dry, with a generous portion of chunky chips and salad. The children’s meals, homemade burgers, were devoured in one which was a winner!
