The best restaurants serving Mediterranean food in England

Absolutely disgusting, nothing was edible, would put zero if possible. Kebab was pale, uncooked and soggy and for a weird reason covered in a slimy coleslaw which wasn’t stated in the menu. Salad was weird tasting, bland and dry along with being covered in that ghastly and sickly coleslaw. The chips were soggy, soft and DRENCHED in mayo. I also got peri chicken that was again, foul and unpalatable, tasted rubbish and couldn’t trust it after they messed up everything else. Only “good” things was the can of Fanta and the fact I ordered on Uber eats so didn’t have to leave my house.

Counter and kitchen were very clean, tidy and well presented. Probably the nicest Leon I've been to. Staff were polite, friendly and prepared my order quickly.

Do not order from this place. Ordered from here on Uber Eats, order is cancelled after quite some time, as the comments suggest looks like a scam is going on with online delivery to take payments.

Great pub with good Guinness and steak sandwiches. Served quickly even when busy. Highly recommend.

El conductor dijo que había entregado cuando no lo había hecho, y el caballero que contestaba el teléfono del restaurante era el representante más patético de un negocio que me había encontrado. Después de coincidir inicialmente con "es uno de estos conductores", volvió a llamar después de revisar la historia (falsa) del conductor para decirme a través de risas infantiles que era mi palabra contra el conductor, por lo que "no sabía qué decir". Una disculpa hubiera sido un comienzo.Solo puedo suponer que la comida es tan abismal como el personal, pero nunca pude probarlo. Recibí un reembolso de Just Eat, pero solo después de una noche de hambre y molestias. Evitar a toda costa.

Appalling Over two and half hours, too many phone calls kept getting told it was on the way be ten minutes, better minutes, be five minutes. Told driver was not answering their phone. Never called back as they said they would not once! Food eventually arrived stone cold! Not even slight heat. Couldn’t eat as was chicken and had a 3 year old and a pregnant daughter with me. Spoke to restaurant again and the rude and patronising staff again said they would call back after the investigated refund. Still waiting!!!!!!!!

We are locals, have been here a few times before and always had an excellent meal and service. This time however, it wasn’t great. Our waiter was doing her last shift before heading back to uni, and I don’t think she could really be bothered with us. Food was pricey and unexceptional. Felt like the chef had decided to move to the autumn menu - squash soup? Asparagus being offered well out of season. My Dover sole was ok, wife and daughter had John Dory, which was ok. Coffee was the teeniest tiniest espresso that I have ever seen. When you are dropping nearly 400 pounds on a meal, you expect it to be memorable, but on this occasion it wasn’t (or rather it was, but for the wrong reason). St mawes is lovely, but I’ll be giving Tresanton a swerve for the foreseeable.

I got a table for yesterday night. It was an important business meal and we realized the place was closed when we were there. I tried to call, and I sent a message on Google. no answer.It's a big shame. Even today, no mail, anything. I'm so disappointed. Happy New Year!

I’ve been multiple times. I love the bolognese pizza. Me and mum went with family after our confirmation. I have had it twice once I realised that it was there and I loved it every time! Robert is really nice. I came in today out of the blue to ask a few questions for my assignment and he went above and beyond! I showed him the assignment and he asked for my email address and took the ball and rolled with it.

Its CLOSED - GONE Disappointing because we'd only gone to Gravesend to have a meal in Riva☹️☹️

We did a bottomless brunch here on a Saturday. We were a group of around 12. Overall we were a little disappointed with our experience. The service was very slow, it took us about 30 mins to be initially served drinks and our food order taken. As the 2 hour slot went on it got a little quicker but not great for a bottomless. It also advertised there’d be djs but we didn’t see any and there wasn’t much of a vibe. There are also lots of extras on the menu which is abit cheeky when you’re already paying about £35 Not the worst but definitely not the best

Looks closed and believe planning permission hasbeen granted for change to residential use. Past reviews seem to indicate they are never open except perhaps for some private functions.

It was Fathers' Day and we were 7 people booked later in the afternoon. The table was ready on time, the choice on the menu was great, the service was impeccable and the food was tasty. Brilliantly done.

Terrible food. Cake was stale, I couldn't eat it. Staff did not speak Portuguese. I was very disappointed with the experience.

Excellent position and a lovely building. Very pleasant restaurant with plenty of room between the tables. Service was attentive and we didn't have to wait long between courses. We both chose the steak frites which was fine but not the best in my experience, hence the dropping of one star. We would however visit again if we were in the area.
