The last time we went they served us 5 small pieces of steak and called it Bitoque. That's not how bitoque is served. Not like the old days, with Maria managing. The owner is incompetent and rude. We paid £15 to go there on a Sunday at 6pm and the website said they closed at 9pm. Staff is nice but management is awful. Clearly management is not portuguese.

Acqua panna e dolcetti offerti a fine pasto. Consigliato

Been here many times in the last 5/6 years. Food is great, service is good (it can get difficult to grab someone’s attention when it’s busy) and the prices are decent as well in reference to the portion sizes. Favourites off the menu: chicken shawarma, shish Tauok, grilled baby chicken. Everything comes with a choice of rice or chips and a really nice pickled salad! Only issue is that the toilets are not the cleanest so that part of the restaurant could do with some maintenance.

Save room for dessert—the **baklava** is sticky, nutty perfection, and the **rose & pistachio cake** is a fragrant, moist delight. ### **🍹 Drinks – Refreshing & Unique** The drinks menu is just as exciting, with **homemade lemonade, minty fresh mojitos (non-alcoholic options available), and traditional Lebanese wines**. The **pomegranate & rose cooler** is a personal favorite—sweet, floral, and incredibly refreshing. ### **🛎️ Service – Warm & Welcoming** The staff are **friendly, attentive, and happy to guide you through the menu** if you’re new to Lebanese cuisine. Good service, food definitely not up to standard We went to this restaurant for lunch on a Sunday, ordered a selection of Iberian hams, which I must say were very good, definitely the best part of the lunch, two gazpachos, which were quite good, then unfortunately I was tempted by a ‘paella de mariscos’, something completely unworthy of the name paella, the rice was overcooked, greenish in colour, with aubergines and broad beans, ingredients I have never seen in a paella in Spain. But above all, the squid was rubbery, the fish was clearly frozen and of poor quality and poorly prepared, as was the Galician-style octopus, which also seemed to have been prepared days ago, thrown in the microwave and then drowned in olive oil and paprika... unspeakable. I think the 3 stars are for the 3 types of ham we were served and the friendly service, but as for the food, it was definitely an experience to forget. Considering the high prices, the quality was not up to standard.
