Went to break my fast for Iftar, food was good but I don’t think the guys are use to the pressure of Iftar time waited 15min just for water and my meal was forgotten it was sitting at back when it came it was warm but other then that no issues. I had the okra stew with meat and rice my kids had mixed shawarma and my wife has a mix grill. There food came reasonably at good time.

I would give this is 4 start but after last nights disgusting service had to lower it down. Can’t really fault the food.. their boneless chicken is excellent and their hummus beiruty.. wings and other menu items are good. But.. service is terrible .. make you stand at the front and don’t even acknowledge you… you have to constantly remind them you are waiting for a table Last night made my family wait and didn’t tell us how long the wait was or that it was full… I had to ask 4/5 different ppl to finally be told they are full and to try their sister branch across the road Even though their food is nice… don’t expect nice service!

Unfortunately the food was awful for me personally. Staff were friendly enough but insisted they did not get the food order wrong for my friend and did not exchange for correct order- so we won't be going back there again.

This Lebanese restaurant provided a delightful culinary journey for my partner and me. The falafel was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, bursting with flavor. The lamb shawarma was succulent and seasoned to perfection, a true delight for the taste buds. The savory dishes and fatouch salad added a wonderful balance to the meal, showcasing the rich variety of Lebanese cuisine. Overall, our experience was exceptional, and we left feeling satisfied and eager to return. Our waiter was polite and friendly. After finishing our meal, we were given complimentary baklava and tea, which we thought was lovely.

No idea why there are bad reviews because this restaurant is DELICIOUS. Honestly, superb Lebanese food. The spicy salad, the lentil soup, all so so good

Lamb shawarma and falafel sandwiches (actually wraps) where to die for. The yoghurt and chilli sauce perfect compliment. Could easily eat that for the rest of my stay. And amazing mango juice. Take a bow Al Arez 👏 🙌

Unprofessional staff, no organization. Food was below average. In salad just onions. Avoid.

Came here yesterday with my partner, waited around for a few minutes before w was acknowledged. We the. Sat down after given a table and ordered 2 shawarma wraps, hummus and chips which didn’t take long to arrive. Whilst we waited I noticed the cutlery was dirty and had bits of food still on them, I asked a waitress who then gave me a clean pair which I didn’t really trust to use. The food then arrived and I found the chips warm but not freshly cooked, the shawarma wraps were not the best and somewhat loopwarm too! The hummus was good and that’s the only thing I could say was! We asked for mayonnaise and ketchup which came in a Heinz squeezing bootle but after looking carefully at this the bottles was greasy to hold and 100% wasn’t the original sauces and was filled up with a cheap brand - the labels which were old and dirty was a total give away of what was going on! I used the toilets downstairs which was awful and unclean with water/urine all over the floor! I found the service very below par and the food for what it is not anywhere near as good as other places on this strip and therefore can’t see my self coming back here or recommending this place to others! Avoid if I were you…

In the heart of Edgeware road how could you not like Al Arez. Lovely to sit outside under the heaters and enjoy the finest foods from the Levant. The moutabal and labneh were excellent and you just wanted more. I was lucky enough to have Knafeh and it was so delicious. The only flaw was the service but nothing is perfect.

Quite empty for a reason. Unfortunately this place has dived in quality relative to what it was a few years ago, to the level that now one has to order bread to accompany the hummus. It’s sad, but hopefully something the owners can have a look and remedy.

One cup of black tea is 4£. Total rip off. Most places in London including central charge 1£ max 2£. Forget it. Not coming here again.

The most horrifying experience of my life!!! I rarely leave negative reviews but this place truly deserves one. Went with my friends as they wanted to experience Arab food. The staff completely ignored us and after 40min of waiting and asking if someone can serve us, a waiter came over and started abusing me and friends for being black women. When I asked to speak to the manger as his behaviour was not appropriate. The manger came over and preceeded to do the same thing. We were where all shocked and decided to just leave. Horrific experience. If you want to experience nice Arab food there are plenty of resturants that will cater to your needs without the abuse.

Nice experience here on multiple occasions. Tried kabab platter and dish of the day (lamb / chicken + rice). Topped off with Lebanese coffee and baklava.

I ordered special mix grilled for £110 for 4 people. For that price they gave us very less kebab, they didn t even giave us salald I paid that much money and no salad the service is very poor, i kept call the waiter and they don t have enough cleaning toilet is not clean. They have to improve themselves. ☹️

My recent visit to Al Arez was a complete letdown. The customer service was abysmal, with a shockingly rude server who seemed disinterested in assisting us. Not only did the server exhibit rudeness he also started an argument with my mum. This added an uncomfortable and unprofessional dynamic to an already subpar dining experience. The sorry state of the toilets only added to the unpleasant atmosphere. To top it off, it took an eternity for them to take our order. On a somewhat redeeming note, the food was alright, but the overall experience was marred by the poor service and hygiene issues. A visit to Al Arez turned out to be more of an ordeal than a dining experience, and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone seeking a pleasant meal out.

Food was very average; two items we ordered never turned-up; no milk left to make milk shakes! We arrived here approx 9.30pm, so I guess the servers were tired from serving all day and so service wasn't friendly! We decided to go elsewhere for baklava & tea! I won't be coming here again. Very average tasting food. On the whole very uninspiring. Pity as this place has been here years with 2 other outlets very close by. Is this what the other outlets serve? I'd save your money and go to Maroush, where they know what they're doing!

اول مرة ازور المطعم صراحة الاكل كان طازج شاورما الدجاج الصحن كان لذيذ جدا شاورما اللحم جدا لذيذ شوربة العدس حلوة ملوخية الدجاج جدا روعة عجبتني مافيها دسم وطعمها حلو وخفيف الفتوش جدا لذيذ الجلسة حلوة ماكان المطعم مزدحم لان كانت الساعة ٧:٣٠ المغرب الخدمة سريعة صراحة انصح في المطعم وبالتوفيق بس هناك نقطة لو كان عندهم بعد فرن للخبز علشان يقدموا الخبز كذا ساخن ومنفوخ من الفرن بيكون مية على مية بس كل شي تمام التمام

I went with friends and we had a wonderful meal. The service was excellent. The restaurant environment is likely more suited to a younger audience - as we are in our late 50s/early 60s and may have appeared out of place. But as “foodies,” we couldn’t find fault with any dish. I left craving the green bean stew side dish Loubieh B’zit and weeks later was able to find a recipe that comes close…but I will have to travel to London again to truly satisfy my palette.

I could see so many disrespectful workers in this restaurant. That’s why we had to leave this restaurant before not eating anything’s. I don’t recommend this restaurant for anyone.

We found this restaurant close to our hotel and everything they served was so delicious. There are so many varieties of dishes. The lamb and chicken grills were great. The chilli sauce they serve is absolutely a treat for spice lovers and the garlic sauce is great too. The service really is fantastic and super quick.

Beside the atmosphere, i did not enjoy the food there!! I ordered mix shawarma plate, beef and chicken, the beef was so dry, even they do not put tahina aside, the chicken shawarma also was not that yummy!! It doesn’t taste like the real shawarma that we know in Lebanon!! And the plate is not cheap at all!!!!! I paid 16.5 pounds for the plate!

My uncle recommended us this restaurant and told us to order the lamb shawarma, mixed grill and shish tawook, and made sure we asked for extra garlic sauce. We ordered everything plus the extra garlic sauce and they were very delicious. My family and I are still thinking about that garlic sauce. The service was good and the staff were attentive and friendly. Highly recommended.

Few of us dropped by here for dinner after work and had loads of plates to share. All the food was really good and we had a good time. The service however was very uninvolved and often if you wanted to ask for a drink or something else, there was no one around for many minutes, so -1 star for that. Good experience overall.

I love it here, authentic, fresh, great Arabic food. The prices are reasonable and the menu has everything you would want from a Lebanese restaurant. Most importantly the service is always always great, my friends and I come here for years now and Bilal has been providing us with 5 stars service and hospitality every single time. Ordered bamieh bil lahme and ayran. Did not like the taste of bamieh. Wanted to try traditional Lebanese meal, unfortunately was not impressed. Ayran had more water in it than yoghurt. Was not as tasteful as it should be. The low rating is for the food and the atmosphere only. The restaurant, I would say, is slightly lower than average. Though the staff was quick to serve the food. The outcome: I would not visit it again and would not recommend it.

Good quality Lebanese food overall. A nice and spacious layout, with plentiful seating, which adds to the ambience. I found it to be a really good place to take friends and family. Restaurant was very well ventilated (we visited on a really hot day!) Customer service was excellent with all of our requirements being seen to within a timely manner. Price-to-quality ratio was good. Will visit again.
