We've got afternoon tea, and we were extremely disappointed at this place! Poor quality, tasteless, average food. The price is ridiculously expensive and the service and the atmosphere can't make up for it. Very dissatisfying experience.

So disappointed with the food and the tea! Sugar, fat and white bread. Even an average bakery would do way better. Very mediocre quality and a real reap off. A shame as they says they have a chef.

I had such a lovely experience at this restaurant! The food was very tasty—exactly like in the pictures—and everything was presented in such an aesthetic way. You can really tell a lot of thought went into the visuals, from the table settings to the plating. The ambience is truly unique, with a cozy yet elegant vibe that makes the whole experience feel special. I also have to mention the bathroom—yes, it’s a must-see, just like other reviews said! Definitely one of the most stylish restrooms I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. The real standout though was the service. The staff were genuinely kind and attentive, which made everything feel even more welcoming. The live music added a really nice touch and helped enhance the whole atmosphere. I did the tea experience, and I honestly think it’s worth every penny. You get such a generous amount of food, tea, and drinks, and the whole presentation makes it feel like a little event. Definitely something I’d recommend if you’re looking to treat yourself or celebrate something special.

Amazing experience, wonderful food and service top notch

Truly one of the most frustrating dining experiences I’ve had. We were sold a full bottle of red wine with 10 minutes to spare — no warning that we wouldn’t actually have time to enjoy it. Just a smile and the bill. Moments later, we were abruptly told we had 2 minutes left at the table because the next reservation was waiting. We were moved to the bar without all of our drinks — and the table we were “urgently” asked to vacate? It sat completely empty for an hour after manager Louise kicked us off it. No reservation ever arrived. Not for an entire hour as we were allowed to finish our bottle standing! It was clearly just an excuse to get rid of us. When we politely raised this, Louise was condescending, defensive, and entirely unwilling to take responsibility. No apology. No solution. Just attitude. Oh — and of course, they added a 15% service charge on top of it all. If you like being rushed, misled, and treated like a nuisance, Louise has you covered. Otherwise, avoid this place. Plenty of restaurants know how to treat paying customers with basic respect — this is not one of them.

Fresh take on high tea. The venue is delightful (definitely go see the egg ‘pods’ in the bathroom!) Food, tea service and servers are outstanding. Enjoyed the sandwiches & desserts. Especially enjoyed the live string quartet.

What a delightful experience! We had a wonderful high tea with delicious sandwiches and pastries. The atmosphere with the string trio was mesmerizing. The facilities made you feel like Alice in wonderland. Would recommend highly to anyone seeking a unique high tea experience

This restaurant came highly recommended for tea. We made the mistake of going for lunch. It was ridiculous…the servers were young, snobby and borderline rude. The food was fine - we had burgers and steaks. It was fine. The restrooms were cool but overall just not worth the hype. Would skip this for both the price tag and the bizarre formalness of a kitschy tourist trap.

Service was spectacular! Everyone was so kind and our food was good! This is a must-go restaurant if you are in London. It is a beautiful restaurant. Each room is a different theme/concept.

The food was ok-ish, for such prices you expect a bit more. The service was just chaotic. It took 2.5 hours to have an entree and a main. We were just 3 people in our party. They seem to forget us all the time. In the end we just had one glass of wine each, as they just forgot to ask if we wanted some more. We had to ask when our food was coming. We asked for a bottle of water that took at least 10 minutes before coming. It was not clear who was in charge of our table. I would not recommend

A never to be forgotten experience from start to finish. Theatre, incredibly attentive service, fantastic food and wonderful drinks...at a venue steeped in history, but with a contemporary feel. If I could give 6 stars I would. Unforgettable and utterly remarkable.

The atmosphere and decor were delightful. The cocktails list offered a wide selection, although we found the prices somewhat high. We had a pleasant time and happily return.

During my recent lunch at Sketch, I was captivated by the restaurant’s unique and artistic ambiance, which truly sets it apart. The interior design is undeniably impressive, creating an environment that is both stylish and intriguing. However, when it came to the culinary experience, my expectations were not fully met. Out of the four starters I sampled, two were notably oversalted, which overshadowed their intended flavors. Similarly, the main course was accompanied by a sauce that was excessively salty, detracting from the overall enjoyment of the dish. It appears that others have encountered similar issues; for instance, a review from The Infatuation described certain dishes as “overpriced and inedible,” highlighting problems with the menu’s execution.  On a brighter note, the dessert was a highlight of the meal, offering a delightful conclusion with its well-balanced flavors and presentation. This aligns with experiences shared by other patrons who found the desserts to be a redeeming aspect of their visit. The service was adequate, with staff members performing their duties competently. However, there was a lack of the exceptional attentiveness and warmth that one might anticipate from a restaurant of Sketch’s caliber. In summary, while I appreciate having experienced Sketch’s renowned setting, the inconsistencies in the food and the unremarkable service lead me to conclude that it may not be my first choice for future dining occasions.

Went to the disco room and had a fab time! The DJ was fantastic!

Overall incredible. 4.5 hours of food in an eclectic setting with great service. Some dishes blew me away and some were just "very good". The cheese selection was fantastic, and honestly the meal could have stopped there, but it was followed by a number of nice desserts. Only complaint was the wine was very pricy, and I felt somewhat pressured to order a bottle of champagne that was more than I would have liked.

Shout out to Mary who serviced us, she was absolutely lovely, genuine and super friendly (but not in a fake type of way which is what you usually sense in hospitality services) Food was really good, the vegan menu only has 1 Scone which dropped a star, plus it was a little doughwy, but still warm and tasty. The over food was still good, 8.5/10.

Went with a friend to grab two drinks expecting good vibes but the reality was overpriced average-tasting drinks with background music that was WAY too loud (my friend and I had to yell each other to have a conversation, and I couldn’t hear the waitstaff). It looks cool inside and is great for photos but I wouldn’t come back again. There are better bars and drinks for more affordable prices in London.

I was seated at the back and very close to the violinists. Although they played beautifully, the music was so incredibly loud that I was left with a headache and I could not hear my friend (who was sat opposite me) speak. The service was absolutely brilliant and I cannot fault the waiters. All were extremely professional, polite and respectful. Unfortunately the food wasn’t up to scratch and in my opinion, is below standard. I really wasn’t impressed with the sandwiches, cakes and scones. The sandwiches were bland, cakes were too sweet with too much icing and the scones were dry and did not seem freshly baked to me. The hot chocolate and tea were delicious. Nice place but extremely over priced. I would prefer to dine at the Ritz, which by the way, costs less for afternoon tea. The staff were professional and polite.

From the food which was I feel a massive portion, well cooked and tasty - it wss presented and very clear on allergens so this was ideal for me from staff The atmosphere was lovely doesn't feel like your in the hussle and bussle of London but somewhere relaxing away from it all with great service also highly recommended

We always enjoy this place, been here 3-4 times now. The Coronation Chicken Sandwich and the Ham & Cheese Croque Monsieur are favorites. Plus the vibes are always great (love a bit of live music!)

Incredible atmosphere, service and food

the whole experience was so psychedelic and euphoric and one of a kind. the bathroom blew my mind. i stand by the opinion that i could’ve and should’ve taken down 2 full sets of the afternoon tea and more since it is free refills of everything.

Great restaurant and bar. Extraordinary ambiente. Really enjoyed it. We had starters and then the Dover Sole. Food was wonderful. Service is very friendly and attentive. Will definitely go again.

The decoration is very kitsch but very pleasant. A real touch of originality. On the other hand, like many places in London, prices are high. But to do for a drink.

Did not rate it unfortunately. The food was poor (the way they serve the whole duck is such a shame - you dont get the legs which are the best bit) and the waiters were not attentive with drinks. Given the reputation, I had expected significantly better. The building is however phenomenal.

Worth the hype. We enjoyed pre-dinner drinks and thereafter a three course meal with an amazing exceptional bottle of wine, as suggested by our sommelier. Atmosphere is exceptional and the food is worth every penny (which is a true complement as it’s a particularly expensive place, the bill was around £400 for the two of us which is up there with the most expensive places I have dined at over the past few years). Would recommend as a treat, and we do intend on visiting again albeit just for special occasions in the capital.

The service was excellent, and everything we ate was incredibly delicious! Next time, we’ll try the other rooms; the forest-themed one especially caught my attention.

The food was decent at the lecture room & library, but the environment was not as modern and progressive as I expected (the video on their website is misleading). I wore a sheer dress without a bra and they asked me to cover up - on International Women’s Day, no less. They say the dress code is art smart but it’s really just business casual. If they truly embraced the creative and expressive spirit of art smart, they wouldn’t impose outdated standards to accommodate the preferences of some guests at the expense of others.

Sketch is truly a one-of-a-kind dining experience, blending incredible food with an artistic and almost whimsical atmosphere. We visited The Gallery for afternoon tea, and from the moment we stepped in, the stunning pink interiors and quirky artwork set the scene for something special. The afternoon tea spread was beautifully presented, featuring delicate macarons, Battenberg cake, and a perfectly light Victoria sponge. The finger sandwiches were fresh and flavorful, and the selection of teas and champagne complemented everything perfectly. For a more formal experience, The Lecture Room & Library, which holds three Michelin stars, offers a more refined tasting menu. The lobster bisque and black truffle risotto were standout dishes, packed with rich flavors and elegant presentation. Service was attentive yet relaxed, making us feel comfortable while still adding to the overall luxury of the experience. The only downside? Prices are definitely on the higher side, but given the setting, creativity, and quality of the food, it's understandable. Sketch isn’t just a meal—it’s an experience. Whether you’re there for afternoon tea, dinner, or just cocktails, it’s definitely worth a visit for a special occasion.

Getting really annoyed with this website, 2 laptops and 1 phone and it has all this garbage on it but the things you want to do like see the menu or book a table don't actually work! How much business do you lose by having a website that is style over function?

I visited on January 23 to celebrate my graduation with friends who graduated alongside me. The staff was wonderful, and the atmosphere was fantastic. One of the biggest surprises was the restroom, which feels like stepping into another world. The bar area looked straight out of a fairytale. Overall, choosing to celebrate our graduation dinner there was one of the best decisions we could have made!

Service was unfriendly if not downright rude, with the exception of the man who greeted us and showed us to our table (the worst in the restaurant, despite others being available). We asked if we could pay extra to extend our two course deal to three and were told we just had to pay for an extra course. We asked if we could have a cocktail from the bar menu which was on offer (we’d have ordered it in the bar except nobody served us there) and were told no. In fact, every question we asked was met with annoyance. I was deciding which wine to order and was told the sommelier would come, which he did well after my friend had already received her drink. I asked to try the wine he suggested, which he agreed to, but then he went to the next table, spoke to them for ages about their wine choices, went and got their wine, and only then went to get mine and plonked the glass on the table in front of me without saying anything. We couldn’t wait to leave. So disappointing.

Not worth the price for the afternoon tea. You get unlimited tea and there are roughly 10 or so to choose from. Teas are great. The service was not great. The food was okay, scones were delicious. The server wasn’t very attentive, we had to ask several times for refills. When we requested a white tea, we needed to ask for 3 different workers including two managers. Wasn’t a great experience. Don’t forget to check out the bathroom, it’s strange but artsy.

An unmissable place in London, indescribable, you must have seen it! Too much has already been said and written about this gastronomic palace. Impressions, sensations, flavors, everything combines wonderfully. Good tasting.

I used to go to Sketch before COVID when it was the “it” place to be in London. Over time, it lost some of its trendiness, but last Friday, a friend of mine was DJing there, so I thought it would be nice to revisit after all these years. Unfortunately, the experience was disappointing, starting with the cloakroom staff. The man in charge was rude and unprofessional, insisting that our group of five share a single hanger for our coats. When we politely declined, he started questioning us as if we needed to justify ourselves. This is Mayfair, not some second-rate establishment. I’ve never encountered a staff member arguing over something as trivial as giving each guest their own hanger. His attitude was unnecessarily aggressive simply because we refused to comply, and when we remained calm, he had the audacity to tell us to calm down. The service at the entrance bar was no better. The bartenders were incredibly slow and visibly annoyed, making exasperated faces as they worked. One of them repeatedly adjusted a loose band-aid on her hand every two minutes, which was both unsanitary and off-putting. For a place like Sketch, I would have expected far higher standards of hygiene and professionalism. The crowd was interesting: 50 year old men sitting on all the couches staring at the young crowd (in their 20s); I would recommend tailoring your customer base because it is not an environment that is comfortable for young women. Honestly, I’m relieved I didn’t have dinner there—it was fully booked, and I would have ended up spending more money on an experience that clearly isn’t what it used to be.

Beautiful and diverse rooms to host receptions, from breakfast to dinners, right in the middle of Soho

I visited Sketch on a Wednesday night around 10pm without a booking. I’d heard so much about it on Instagram. I just dropped in for cocktails at the bar and ended up ordering two Mai Tais that were absolutely delicious. There was a DJ spinning tunes and the bar had a cool, lively vibe. I also wandered around the other rooms, and the interior design is truly one-of-a-kind. The bathrooms, in particular, blew me away! They looked like you were floating in a galaxy with those stunning white fixtures. Honestly, it’s one of the most unique restroom experiences I’ve ever seen in a restaurant. I didn’t get a chance to try the food this time. Overall, Sketch scores a solid 5 stars for its incredible decor and vibe.

This is a tough review to write. I have been to Sketch for afternoon tea twice. The first time in 2018 was an incredible experience. My visit in July 2024 the complete opposite. My partner and I were one of the first seatings of the day and the team was late opening the doors. No big deal, but there must have been a staffing issue because service did not improve after that. We were served ONE round of tea over the 2.5 hours we were there (which I will go into). We even asked for someone to take our order and they said they'd send our server, but no one ever came. We sat there for two and a half hours, unable to order more tea let alone receive a check. The food was mostly not tasty, a few items plain unpleasant, and we never got our scones 🥺 We were there so long because our server was not present at all, and the staff bringing the food out were in an obvious rush. The string quartet, however, was gorgeous. The only plus of sitting there for so long without attention was their beautiful music. If we had experienced only one of these issues I would not be writing this review, I can forgive an off day. However, the combination of everything is unforgivable for a place of this caliber (and price!!). Really disappointed to be writing this review :(

The seven-course set menu was quite good, though not entirely amazing; it had some excellent dishes alongside others that were less impressive. The menu was created by Chef Pierre Gagnaire, a legend in French haute cuisine. The wine list offered a wide selection by the glass, although I found the prices somewhat high. I had a pleasant time and would happily return.

I had a wonderful experience enjoying afternoon tea here. The ambiance is so artistic. As an art professional, I could feel the thoughtfulness in every detail. The food was superb—beautifully presented and slightly inventive while still honoring the traditional elements of afternoon tea. The staff were all warm and welcoming, making the experience even more enjoyable. A special shoutout to a lovely lady in a black dress with white polka dots. I deeply regret not asking for her name. We visited for afternoon tea on Wednesday, March 5th, and she had recently returned from maternity leave. Her warmth and kindness made our visit even more special. I hope she receives the recognition she deserves for her exceptional hospitality—she elevated an already wonderful experience at Sketch into something truly memorable.

Honestly couldn’t fault it. As a vegan with a nut allergy I am used to just ‘making do’ at afternoon tea but I felt the offerings were really thought out and as special as the meat options. The service was outstanding, particularly Henry, who made us feel very welcome and checked on us often without bothering us. The ambience was bustling but not too cramped and crowded. Live music and funky bathrooms.

Unique experience, its worth it!

Everything from start to finish was phenomenal. The ambiance, the service, the attention to detail, and the food were all completely top notch. Marco and Alessia were so kind and enjoyable to have as servers. They elevated an already amazing experience and made our night (our last in London!) one we won’t soon forget. Already planning for a return trip to this special spot.

Sketch is less about the food and more about the experience. It feels like stepping into a Bridgerton scene, with live string music playing in the background, adding to the immersive atmosphere. The service is top-tier, and while the prices are high, they match the overall quality of the experience. The food is delicious—lobster rolls, decadent chocolate and raspberry desserts, and perfectly baked scones with fresh butter. The tea selection is endless, catering to every preference. Even the bathroom is a highlight, beautifully designed and worth a visit. If you’re looking for more than just a meal, Sketch delivers.

First of all, it was our first time at the venue. The welcome was very good and attentive. The environment was very elegant and beautiful. Then we placed our order. Generally, every table said the same thing. There were mixed desserts for two people. The taste of the desserts was really ordinary. The saddest part is that despite such mediocrity, we had very high bill payments. Definitely not worth this price. I got burned, don't get burned too

Incredible service. Every aesthetic choice, from the playful origami fork menus to the futuristic oviform lavatories, feels purposeful. They make the best Dover Sole Meunière in the United Kingdom, and the uniquely excellent service provided by Marko, Alicia, Dennis, and the other servers, sommeliers, and bartenders at sketch is the textbook definition of above and beyond. 10/10 🙏

I dined at the Gallery for the first time and I was very pleased with the experience. The food was quite tasty, I especially liked the gnocchi. The truffle flavor wasn’t too overpowering and the flavors were balanced which I really liked. The ambiance was great and the staff were very kind and attentive. I would love to try the Afternoon tea as well in a future visit and also explore the other salons within the building.

Absolutely gorgeous establishment with three differently decorated rooms to choose from: one for quiet cocktails, one for dancing, and a dining area. The drinks are divine.

Excellent restaurant by French chef Pierre GAGNAIRE, very well located, on Regent Street, welcome and service, nothing to say except PERFECT, the staff is smiling and available, good advice, attentive and attentive to everything, you will find staff who speak French if you do not speak English. The dishes we chose were delicious and very well presented. The bread is also excellent. A perfect place for a quality dinner and a pleasant time. We go there regularly during our annual stays in London in March. Musical entertainment in the background, especially on Sunday evenings, with a singer and two musicians. On the other hand, it was not specified on the menu the origin of the meat, it would indeed be a shame if it was not of French origin, especially for a restaurant run by a French chef supposed to represent French cuisine and give a certain image of our country abroad. Booked lunch for my husband’s 30th birthday and could not have been more blown away. The team at the front desk very kindly “upgraded” us to the Glade room upon arrival; there was a young woman and a gentleman working who were so so polite. Our waiter and bartender couldn’t have done enough for us. The food was perfect; the perfect amount for lunch and everything tasted fresh and of great quality. I’ve wanted to come to sketch for years, and having finally visited, we are very keen to return!

Worth the hype! Had my birthday dinner here while visiting London (from LA) and sketch totally lived up to it's hype, it was a birthday dinner I won't forget. The service was top tier, everyone was so gracious and welcoming, the service staff were attentive and we had a wonderful woman help us understand/choose the best dinner structure. This place pays attention to detail and you can tell that ensuring their guests have a special dinner is at the top of their list. Drinks were amazing, and the detail down to the ice cubes and drink napkins were appreciated. The food itself was incredible; - globe artichoke (3.5/5) - lily sing salad (5/5) ** must have - aged comte souffle (10/5) ** must have - seafood poelle (5/5) - fillet of irish grass fed beef (5/5) - lamb saddle (5/5) - truffle fries (5/5) - steamed vegetables (5/5) - carmelized pear (5/5) - ice cream scoops - the chocolate was so good! Beautiful immersive experience. I came for the interior but the food was fabulous as well. Definitely a space to “treat yourself” and indulge. Be sure to check out the restrooms as well. Explore as much as you can as each room is completely different.

They will add 15% of tip on your bill. Another place that begs customers for tip directly on the bill. Went there for the afternoon tea, too noisy, very loud and poor service. Too expensive for the proposed value. I do not recommand at all.

Very nice restaurant!!! Very nice service. The food was okay. To be honest, I didn't understand why I just had an egg yolk on my pasta. I know it's on the menu, but I wanted to be surprised, but the egg didn't taste good. The pasta was still delicious and the bread was served warm.

The concept here changes between day and night. During the day, we enjoyed afternoon tea, but after 10 PM, there’s a long queue outside, with everyone dressed up for a party. The food is more for visual appeal than taste, with elaborate decorations, and the service—particularly from the female staff—has an air of unexplainable arrogance. The interior seems to have around three rooms, each with a different concept, and it felt like a maze to me. I was more curious about the bathroom than the food, and although the exterior was unique and piqued my interest, the bathroom was poorly designed for cleaning, with dirt noticeable in the corners. I didn’t use it. If I have the chance, I’d like to visit again with friends, dressed up, and stand in line to see what it’s like in the evening.

You should visit this place not particularly for the food but for the atmosphere and the vibes offered.

We had dinner at The Lecture Room & Library, well-known for its Michelin reputation. Needless to say, we were not impressed. It’s a hefty £225 a person (not including drinks + any additional apps), so you’d expect the most delicious food in London. We gladly paid the a la carte 3-course meals, along with a wine pairing, a few glasses of champagne, and the cheese plate add-on. They were good, but they weren’t great. The food fell short tremendously. Yes, Michelin restaurants love to take you on an “experience” with their dishes, but we truly did not know where this one was going. Perhaps that was the point. We read the Michelin descriptions of the restaurant after we left and were very confused about how deceptive it all was. The food was simply not enjoyable; it was strange, in both taste and texture. If that’s what you’re looking for, then this place is for you. But if you’re looking for delicious food, look elsewhere. Ambience was okay; again, not phenomenal. The floor quite literally shakes under you while the servers walk past your table. The only thing I will say is that the servers and sommeliers are very friendly, and we appreciated how knowledgeable they were about their respective menus. Other than that, nothing good to be said about this place. Save yourself £1,000 and go somewhere else, London is plentiful with restaurants better suited for your money.

Menu is not as good as it used to be, servers also seemed to be rushing us through each course which was a shame. Still enjoyed the experience but not as much as previously.

Dit is een heel leuke ervaring om erbij te hebben bij je tripje in Londen. Dit is een leuke high tea met een verrassend interieur en chique bediening. Je krijgt een assortiment aan taartjes boterhammen en scones. Ze hebben ook heel gekke toiletten (zie foto). Het is inderdaad wat aan de duurdere kant, maar je betaald wel voor een goede high tea en de belevenis errond. Heel blij dit is gedaan te hebben!

One of my fave bars! Food is good, love the atmosphere. I’ve been a few times and I would definitely go again. Funky and quirky place. All rooms are very different and people always take pics in the toilets but they are very different! Food and service has always been great for me. Love the lobster bisque and the steak also very good! Great cocktails. Always a good night out!

We had coffee and pastry at the parlour in Sketch. Although, the staff were helpful, the st honore that we ordered was hard and difficult to eat. They also charged us for charity without asking and calculated VAT on it as well as service charge. This is unacceptable and waste of our time and money.

As is to be expected from Sketch, the food was absolutely incredible, the service was top-notch, and the atmosphere is wonderful. Highly recommend for lunch/dinner and looking forward to going back to try the afternoon tea.

This place doesn’t disappoint! This was our 4th time returning to this beautiful place. The room is gorgeous and the servers are attentive to your every need. The food was absolutely delicious too! And of course you must make an obligatory visit to the loo!

The menu is very diverse, with something for everyone. Tasty dishes, pleasant atmosphere, and great service.

Always such a vibe. Drinks are fun, music sets the mood beautifully and the service is so attentive. The decor is to die for.

It's a cool concept, in terms of style and decor. However, there are few vegetarian options, I had a burger that was comprised primarily of cabbage, with a garnish. Hardly balanced and not very tasty. The maitre'd appeared harassed and annoyed with us for detaining him on a brief query.On a second occasion, our waitress appeared unable to communicate well ( mumbled softly) and was inadequate in addressing a query concerning allergens. We won't be back for a third time. A five star price tag with food and service falling behind.

Had a vegan dish ; ( not a vegan btw) The Arancini. . (Fried rice balls). Incredible flavours ! Rum baba dessert with licorice custard. Divine. Be sure to ask sommelier Rory for pairing recommendations. He suggested the Lust strobl Austrian . A perfect pairing and Rory is Knowledgeable amiable and knows his trade.

One evening, 4 of us attempted to enter sketch for a couple of evening drinks. We were two gay male couples and we was informed due to no females with us we aren’t allowed entry. Sketch have not responded on the matter.

Good food, but expensive. Nice atmosphere with most people dressed up, but bathrooms are totally overrated for some egg-shaped porter-potties where consistently a group of girls takes pictures, instacrowd. Probably comes with the price point that many guests have quite an attitude, treating staff poorly and shouting commands - gave me an embarrassingly feeling of others having lack of manners, but that's clearly not on the venue. Nice touch that you're neither talked into drinks nor in any other consumption and getting a nice surprise recognizing our anniversary.

Sketch Lecture Room & Library may have three Michelin stars, but their inflexibility and lack of basic empathy make them undeserving of the title. We tried to cancel a reservation less than 48 hours in advance due to illness. Instead of showing understanding or adapting to the situation, the restaurant insisted on enforcing their rigid cancellation policy. They even expected the sick guest to attend, despite a fully booked restaurant where our table could have easily been given to someone else. Rules are important, but they should never come at the expense of common sense. Their so-called solution? Offering another date when they knew we were tourists and the restaurant would be closed for the next two weeks. A three-star Michelin restaurant should embody not just good food but also flexibility, understanding, and hospitality. Sketch fails miserably in this regard. Avoid it—you deserve better.

Really special tea experience with modernised classic cakes and sandwiches, friendly staff and great live music from a string trio. The bathrooms are a talking point, definitely not your stuffy hotel vibes if you want a classic tea but in a more modern atmosphere.
