**Avoid at All Costs!** I had the misfortune of dining at Maroush Edgware Road this evening , and it was nothing short of a culinary disaster. From the moment I walked in, it was evident that this establishment lacks basic standards of hygiene and professionalism. The food was abysmal, to say the least. Not only was it served cold, but the lamb was practically raw, emitting a foul odor that made my stomach turn. It was evident that proper cooking techniques were completely disregarded, as the meat was burnt to a crisp on the outside yet raw and chewy on the inside. Even the simplest of dishes like chips were soggy and unpalatable. The lackadaisical attitude of the staff only exacerbated the already dismal experience. Not once did they bother to check if everything was satisfactory or even offer an apology for the appalling quality of the food. Their negligence and indifference speak volumes about the level of service one can expect at this establishment. In conclusion, save yourself the disappointment and steer clear of [Restaurant Name]. With its subpar food, careless staff, and overall lack of regard for customer satisfaction, this place is a disgrace to the dining scene on Edgware Road.

For a fast-food kebab shop, it's OK, but perhaps a bit pricey. I was hoping it would be more like the original Maroush, which was an excellent restaurant offering the full range of Lebanese cuisine, so I was disappointed.

The staff were really friendly and accommodating. The food tasted great too. However, even though the menu shows gluten-free options, there is gluten in the side salad that is not on the menu. The dish of the day also has gluten in it, but the staff was not aware. They were very happy to change the dish for me, which was great.

If you’re looking for an authentic Lebanese shawarma roll then this is the place . Their juicy meat in shawarma with the all right ingredients will take you to different world 🤤

I visited this restaurant three times and I intend to visit it every time I visit London. It is one of the best restaurants. I ordered hummus with shawarma, hummus, and tabbouleh. The food was very delicious and the service was wonderful. Feras and Abdel Moein were wonderful. We became friends and I liked them

Too good authentic Turkish and Moroccan cuisine as well as reasonably priced dishes. The owner is very helpful with the menu and is honest about the wait time. So try the mint tea.

Disgusting delivery - old meat (stinky lamb), store bought pita from a grocery store (not fresh) sent in the original packing and had a food poisoning. First time and never again. Have hygiene concerns about the place as well

We literally walked in, the restaurant was very busy, but the very kind waiter found us 2 seats. The food was stunning, chicken wings, moussaka, fattoush and batata harra! Best Lebanese ever, cannot wait to return and the bill was about £42!!! Crazy cheap!

Family of three visited Maroush Express around 8pm midweek. We were greeted with a smile and found a table easily. The restaurant was half full and we were positioned next to another table of two. We ordered quickly and whilst we waited we were presented with numerous plates of food that looked lovely but weren’t ours. This happened three times until eventually Feras (the manager?) came over and discovered the food was for the table next to us. Confused faces were transformed into smiles all around as the issue had been solved. Hence 3 stars for service. The food that was ordered on the other table looked delicious - pleateaus of meat and falafels. Well ordered I thought. Our food arrived - three shawarma sandwiches - two chicken and one mixed. I had the mixed which was okay - found some grissle in it unfortunately. The chicken was enjoyed by the others. Fries were good but would hope so at £5.75 for a bowl. Overpriced as the chicken shawarma was only £8. I had read other reviews that mentioned the bad smell coming from the toilet downstairs and unfortunately the smell remains. It is very unpleasant. Maybe because the toilets are underground? Overall the restaurant looked a little tired, atmosphere was okay, food was okay and the people and service were very friendly. I wish the restaurant the very best in a street that contains many Shawarma restaurants - the competition is aplenty.

I was regular visitor for years. But wouldn't be going back ever again I ordered the food on menu and was billed 2.5 times the menu price as the waiter asked if you would like to be served in plates or wraps. Never mentioned the price will be doubled. All we showed her from menu was that we wanted this food. The portion sizes never justify the price they charged. Proper rip off. Nevertheless, we paid an unfair bill and walked off

Good place to have some food in London

The food was good but given that we were a larger party- it took them about 45 minutes to give us a table. It was really annoying because they kept telling us 10-15 minutes but took forever. The toilets were also not very clean.

The men's restroom was dirty and had an unpleasant smell - the service was unprofessional- they completely forgot my order of fries- the chicken soup was tasteless

The worst experience i had! One of the mangers called me crazy because i was queuing and he let people behind me sit down before me so i was asking i should be sitting not them so he start to call me crazy and the other romanian manger pulled the menu from my girlfriend hands and he started to be so rude to us! Sooo disappointed! One of them called moean i think he is lebananes and got ponytail.

Feras was absolutely wonderful and provided amazing service at a super professional level. This is our best spots in London for a chicken Shawarma sandwich.

I actually was a takeaway customer and ordered only one item Shawarma Wrap. Honestly loved it. Loaded with meat. In fact, I tried all 3 types of wraps (chicken, lamb & mixed). Each of them was good, however, to me the lamb shawarma wins the race

While the Shawarma was subpar, being a bit dry and too chewy, but the service and vibes are immaculate! Had a wonderful time there.

We brought family here for a party and this was so disappointing. The store was filthy, furniture and menus were literally falling apart. The staff were so rude and also absolutely clueless on how to serve tables. One of the waiters was throwing food into my hand so I could serve everyone. The meat wasn’t cooked properly and smelt which was unpleasant and ALL the food came cold! I don’t know how that could happen? It was not what we expected whatsoever because they have quite a reputation as a Maroush branch. When speaking to the manager, he was rude and was refusing to take a moment so we could speak to him about what happened. Would never recommend anyone coming here.

Impressed by the politeness in this simple eatery when I arrived. There wasn't a table for one, but waited dutifully and was placed at a cosy table in the window. Mixed Grill was basic fare, and perhaps the accompaniments to the meat skewers were a little ungenerous in size, but they all tasted good, and there was a good amount of pita bread for one. My glass of Lebanese red was also very good!

Maroush never disappoints! The food is always on point although the prices have gone up over the years and it’s no longer a cheap eat! Worth a visit nonetheless. I personally recommend their hummus with shawarma, shish taouk and fattoush salad.

Amazing experience at Maroush served by Feras who was charismatic, friendly and accommodating. Loved the vegetarian alternative Kibbeh which I have never had. Delicious Lebanese food hard to come by in London!

Visited for dinner. Food was okay not the best I have had. Service was slow and had to ask for basic things like tissue and plates multiple times. Prices have gone up alot recently ie £5 for a plate of chips Not sure why they aslo add 12.5% service charge for a cafe. Asked for the service to be removed and was then charged for garlic and chilli sauce. Poor customer service will not be visiting again

Really nice food and freshly made, it is pricey but you have to bear in mind the location and ambience.. Overall are waiter was very friendly and aimed to pleased, definitely would return especially for the chill sauce which I brought extra to take home!

Ordered delivery for a group via Deliveroo. Cannot speak to service or atmosphere at actual restaurant. No option to remove a topping from one of the items ordered online, but says you can ring the restaurant with any queries. No one picks up the phone at Edgeware branch. I rang for 20 straight minutes, no one answers. Tried to call the Marble Arch branch to see if they have a way of getting in touch with other branches, no answer there either. Deliveroo also has no way of contacting restaurants directly. Why bother listing a telephone number on Google or the Maroush website if no one answers them. Would have ordered something else had we known there is no way of contacting the restaurant. Frustrating. Also poorly labelled items, bought for large group and was quite difficult to tell all wraps apart based on markings. Small portions, not worth price charged.

Manager is very rude Don’t know how to talk even though we had bill of £180 just ask for extra chilli sauce We get refused and demanded £2.75 for sauce dip if front of my work friends which in paid but bit was embarrassed Unbelievable Will never go again

I have been to this restaurant multiple times and hands down it is one of the best Lebanese restaurants on Edgware Road. Food is always fresh and amazing especially their chicken Shawarma. The only reason I’m giving them a 4 star is because of the Kunafa, have tried much better ones and they need to improve this as it was not worth the price.

I love the quality of their sandwich’s but I must say the quality of treatment by their staff is below an acceptable level !! I was shocked by the arrogant treatment by their manager at their beauchamp place restaurant. The manager treatment of customers is unacceptable and he should not be allowed to manage

Very over priced for what you get for . The portions are very small . The food isn't great , I ordered lemon juice while they said its fresh unfortunately its made with acid citric . Frozen chips . It's just a very expensive fast food quality .

Not like I expected the Beef Shawarma is better than Chicken

Racist, disgusting and disrespectful member of staff. Me and my husband came in today around late afternoon. We ordered a lamb shawarma and chicken shawarma. We have come here many times before. The waiter (a Middle Aged arrogant man) served the food and I asked him if we could get another little bowl of sauce. He turned his nose up at me and said why? I said can we just get another one. He turned to say “no you can finish this and then I’ll bring you one”. I found it so patronising and embarrassing. I have never ever been spoken to like that ever. If there was an additional cost for sauce, that’s fine, he could say. But he was rude and turned his nose up at us. He then went and asked other tables if they needed anything else, but didn’t once check up on us. We are Pakistani and I genuinely believe he was racist, rude and deliberately arrogant. We will definitely not be going there again and luckily I took a small video which will be going viral over TikTok if action is not taken. I am not one to sit quietly and ever be spoken to like that!!!

A couple of visits to a Maroush are an absolute must on every trip to London! Loyal customers of the chain for over 15 years, we keep coming back for the quality and delicious, authentic flavours, and often say the best Lebanese food is in London! However, outdoor seating at this branch leaves a lot to be desired (one table literally felt like we were eating on the pavement in the middle of people walking past us, which made us vigilant about our bags and personal belongings throughout the meal! Maybe if they could put up some privacy screens or elements such as foliage?

Busy, but still the best Lebanese option in my opinion. Ive been visiting for years and rarely disappointed.

You cannot book a table but if there is not one available it is well worth waiting for. Manager is a gentleman and knows is business.

If it is authentic Lebanese food cooked fresh and served promptly then this is the place.

The doctor confirmed the food poising and today it was confirmed it was the chicken they ate. I also contacted today Health and Safety regulation and to my surprise it was not the first time they eared about Maroush. The owners should be ashamed to put 2 boys as ill as they still today and this can have also gone very very wrong. I will make sure and will do my best that this will not happen again and Maroush will be visited more by Health authorities in the near future.

The meal was dry and service was okay cleanly less seemed to be slacking in all areas table floor toilets counter seem to be on acceptable in my standards therefore this review.

Delicious, as one always expects

We stopped here for the first time and we all agreed these are the best lamb shawarmas in town . The place was mobbed which tells a story .

Good food but a really busy and crowded restaurant!

The food was okay but not as expected yet the service was good. It is a busy place with tables stuck together. The famous Maroush main branch is permanently closed yet the management can improve the quality of food especially during Summer time.

I thought this place was extremely overpriced for what they serve. Fine, at least the quality would be top notch right? Wrong. The food was below average. Borates were super greasy. Bread wasn’t fresh out of the oven as you would expect. Just overall underwhelming food
