We came here for a late night dinner and really enjoyed the food and wine. Altogether we got the meat and cheese board (Half and half selection), grilled octopus, patatas bravas, croquetas, and pear and spinach salad. All were great and perfect for sharing. We would come back!!

It was a great and pleasant visit, for sure coming back. Roberto is a very nice waiter and always checking out without being annoying. As for Marco, he can see he runs the place very well, and providing a nice environment for the guest taking them to the table and delivering menus upon arrival. All staff seemed happy and relaxed, which shows a good work environment. Now the food, I was greeted with a nice glass of cava, and then the main dishes are to die for, I definitely recommend the Pulpo, and the Hake was very good too, also can't stop to recommend the batatas braves and croquetas, a true Spanish flavor. Will be coming back.

this place has a beautiful interior with high ceilings and stylish decor. The wine selection is impressive and they let you taste before you commit to a bottle—a big shout-out to the attentive staff for that! They did their usual check backs which was thoughtful and made us feel well looked after. We paired a full-bodied red wine with a charcuterie board which was spot on. My only suggestion would be to keep the bread a bit warmer especially with winter coming but it was a minor detail. Overall, a fantastic 9.5/10 find on Great Portland Street! Almost forgot to mention that the cocktails were also great <3

The tapas lunch menu is outstanding both in quality and in value.

Best Flan I ever had! We ordered the cheese & cured meat starter, the croquettes, the grilled octopus, the beetroot tempura and the beef croissant and every dish was absolutely amazing and fresh. Every taste so well balanced. Have been here before and will keep coming every time we are in the area. Highly recommend!

Very enjoyable tapas and sharing plates - creative and high quality food. Staff were knowledgeable, engaging and passionate about the food and drinks. The beef croissant was rich, unusual and delicious -try it! The cava is dry and good value. Seems to be quite busy all the time so booking is advised - we couldn't get a table however they did have seats at the counter.

Visited for a business dinner prior to a work event. Lovely selection of tapas perfect for a chatting group. Dessert was lovely with churros and dark choc sauce but the Casa Marcial rice pudding was honestly the best rice pudding I have ever had. Creamy with a crème brûle style sugar topping. Would come back just for this! Amazing!

I was one of the first customers at Iberica when they opened in 2008 and must have dined there a few hundred times over the years. The food, wine, and staff have always been amazing. Tonight the Galician dinner was extraordinary - I found a pearl in the mussel. What were the odds of that?

Restaurant did not find my open table booking - fortunately there was an empty table

They took the order for the food we wanted, we waited for an hour, they did not give any information, and when we asked, they said we couldn't eat it and it was over. We asked for something else and after half an hour they said we forgot to inform the kitchen. We are hungry, you can hardly catch the waiter, you ask for something, he leaves and doesn't come for half an hour. The few varieties that came were delicious.

Always a great place with great service and fantastic food.

The food was good as was the service. Noise levels are on the high side, even though we sat in a quieter part of the restaurant. Main complaint is that we we over-charged on 2 items. We pointed it out and got a new receipt, but no apology or offer of compensation. Sadly this is not the only restaurant where this has happened in London. Recommend that everyone check their bill very carefully at Iberica before paying.

We had a lovely early evening meal before going to the open air theatre. The food was exceptional - octopus, prawns, croquetas especially. The wine was delicious - cold and crisp. The service was excellent- friendly and efficient especially Priyal and Luis who were both amazing. A really lovely experience thank you

100% recommended restaurant. The place is decorated with a lot of art, the staff is very attentive and above all the food was very good.

We kicked off our first night with a fantastic dinner here and had an absolute blast! The authentic Spanish cuisine transported us straight back to Spain. Our server, Hannah, was also top-notch, providing exceptional service with a warm smile. If you're craving delicious Spanish food in the area, we highly recommend giving it a try.

Pizza was lovely. We were staying in a holiday home and driver struggled to find location as postcode wasn’t correct. The driver was very good and kept in touch.

Gorgeous. Stumbled across it for a bite to eat before a gig at 229, LOVED it. Fabulous food, ambience, environment and staff. Recommend the Hake Tempura, Pear Spinach Salad, Patatas Bravas… and Churros are off the scale.

Order was 2 hours late. Food was cold. Despite numerous communication with the delivery driver, who continuously informed me that he was 5 mins away. Asked for a refund via the app but was refused. Won’t be using them again. Quality has gone down significantly over the last 12 months anyway. If you are based in Stokesley, I’d recommend using the alternatives. They have been much better recently.

Came here for my partner’s birthday and we were extremely happy with our experience! They were kind enough to give us complimentary sparkling wine and also dessert for the special occasion, we were pleasantly surprised 😊 The food here was of amazing quality as well we particularly enjoyed the arroz negros, It was super savory and delicious, definitely our favourite dish. The jamon platter was really delicious as well, our favourite was the juan Pedro (surprise, surprise). The croquettes nice and crispy and soft on the inside. Last but not least, the lamb leg. The lamb leg was nice and soft, the sauce on it was delicious as well, though we would have enjoyed it if there was more sauce. We also didn’t know what to do with the side salad(?) but it was still delicious nonetheless. Will definitely be coming back to try more dishes and to have the black rice again! I principle l like this place. Food is consistent and the staff friendly. But the service is slow, inattentive, and frustrating. I should not have to actively get you to come over multiple times to get me the drink that ordered, remove my plates, or to bring the dessert menu or bill. It is poor training and professionalism when food arrives before your drink or even water on the table. And then there is awkwardness or presumption of a tip - which is not warranted until you step up the service. Tips are earned not expected.

Not so great experience. The tapas were tasty but I can't say the same for the Paella. It was burnt and the langoustine smelt like ammonia thst just wouldnt come off my fingers after multiple hand washes. The shrimp was not deveined and it felt like I was eating sand. Not worth the £44 we spent for it. The orange in the sangria was going bad and therefore the drink was not palatable.

Came here for a mid-week meal. The restaurant was not busy but the service was slow. A Spanish person who was part of our table was questioning the authenticity of some of the dishes. Everyone was hungry so we had to order additional food quickly before the kitchen closed.

We had a lovely time and enjoyed the food. The service from Artur was spot on - warm, welcoming and attentive without being intrusive. We were fortunate to be seated in a fairly peaceful and private area that was perfect for catching up over food and drinks.

I had the most delightful dining experience at Ibérica Marylebone! From the moment we walked in, the ambiance was warm and inviting, creating the perfect setting for a wonderful meal. The menu offered a fantastic variety of dishes, and each one we tried was absolutely delicious. The flavors were well-balanced, and the presentation was impeccable. It's clear that the chefs put a lot of thought and care into every dish. What truly made our visit exceptional was the outstanding service we received from our waiter, Alex. He was attentive, friendly, and incredibly knowledgeable about the menu. Alex's recommendations were spot-on, and he went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. His professionalism and genuine hospitality truly enhanced our dining experience.

Great food, great atmosphere and incredible service from Alex and Luis. The patatas bravas were fantastic, better than Barcelona. Definitely coming back and if you don’t come here when you’re in London, you’ve missed out.

The service was very poor! There were two people serving the whole restaurant and we were waiting extremely long time for everything. Besides this, one of the waitresses poured the drink on our table while serving and forgot to bring a towel to clean. The food knowledge of the waitress was also very poor and failed to help us with the selection of the jamon. The food was not the best i would say. Definitely avoid the Prawns, since I almost puked on the table, it had a very off taste and smell and texture that we just couldn’t even eat one. Patatas bravas was nice, and the sangria was very nice. The rest of the food was very average.

After visiting the Farringdon branch, and really enjoying my experience and the food, I was extremely disappointed with the service received at the Marylebone branch. Upon arrival, the restaurant was empty, with staff sitting around and chatting, looking rather bored. It took a long time for somebody to take our drink order, and despite repeating the order 3-4 times, when my drink eventually arrived 25-30 minutes later, it was wrong. Furthermore, the items we wished to order weren’t available, which should’ve been communicated initially. We cancelled our order and left dissatisfied, seeking food from another restaurant further down Great Portland Street that provided an excellent experience. I’m unsure if this is specifically a branch issue, but I believe so based on experiences at Farringdon previously.

A lovely dining experience. We love the black rice and tortilla for its rich flavours. Yet for some dishes we expect a larger portion. Staff are nice but can be more attentive.

This restaurant is so good in terms of atmosphere, food and service! I just had to give them five stars real quick. As this is my first time visiting this restaurant in London, I can honestly say that this restaurant does not disappoint. I hope God blesses this restaurant with many more businesses. And to those of you who want to leave a bad review of this restaurant, you are wrong!

Lovely food, good friendly service, nice restaurant - would thoroughly recommend.

I have never left a restaurant so upset. We were sat at a table upstairs, we ordered food and drinks. 2 plates of tapas arrived after 20 mins and drinks never arrived for the two of us. We asked the waitress after an hour if our drinks would be coming soon or the other tapas we ordered, she said that there were loads of orders for the bar and wasn't very apologetic. After a while longer still nothing had arrived so my friend got up and found the same waitress and she said sorry they will come soon...they still didn't come. We waited longer and then my friend went downstairs to see what was going on, she was asked to sit down and wait for the manager...who eventually came out and blamed Brexit for understaffing. Eventually after this, the two drinks came lonnnng after our food and the other tapas never arrived. We were very hungry at this point. We asked for money off bill. We were entitled to 25% off as I have the night key app and the manager (who wouldn't even come out to speak to us) wouldn't give us more than 20% and the waitress said we had to choose which discount we wanted to use. In the end, I obviously used the discount we were already entitled to as it was more. We were both shocked at the appalling service and attitudes of staff. It is difficult to run a restaurant when you are under staffed, but at the end of the day your customers are paying for an experience and if you are unable to provide this due to apparent understaffing then seat less people instead of filling tables that you know you will inevitably have to ignore all evening. We were there forever and left hungry, having to buy food to eat on the train home!

Our waiting staff were amazing and the food as fabulous as ever

Visited yesterday afternoon. Extremely quiet yet seated at the back in a dark area on one of the few sunny days so far this year. Asked to be moved to a table near the window, but refused as for a table of four, but empty! Offered a table by the stairs so not wanting to spoil the experience, we accepted but far from acceptable and it all went downhill from there…….. The boquerones, (all 6 of them!!!) were spread on a plate and accompanied by grated tomoto (I’ve never seen that before anywhere in Spain) and so probably designed to fill the empty spaces on the plate. The mixed board was meagre in size and unbelievably, for the price, came with no bread (everything Spanish always comes with bread). How cheap is bread? For the charge of the board and to appease customers, bread should be included, no question! We were going to order more tapas dishes, but by this stage, didn’t think it authentic or good, albeit the olives and wine were……..no input there by this restaurant other than pouring into a glass and putting some olives on a plate! We went up to pay the bill and the first thing itemised was the service, really? That should never be the first thing and really says it all about the restaurant. The person behind the bar, didn’t see our point so all in all, we neither return nor recommend. Average food accompanied with very average service and exuberant prices that do not match what it delivers or doesn’t deliver to be more precise!

It can be said to be the best Spanish meal I have ever had in London! The stewed rice is delicious and the fruit wine is delicious.

It has been 5 years, pre-COVID, since the last time; don't ask me why. Maybe it was the scaffolding; maybe I'd forgotten, but cocktails and tapas at the bar were a highlight; you deliver what it says on the wrapper. Loved it, and thanks. I don't have a reputation as a luvvie, but the mood and the food left me feeling renewed. Ha!

A nice and taste Spanish spot in central London. Food was really tasty and service was really good the first time and less the time after (few months after). They have a really good wine selection If you are around Marylebone and you fancy fried croquettes or paella the jump in this place

Veldig bra tapas. Vi var der på en søndag kveld og det var godt med plass. Lokalet var veldig fint og atmosfæren veldig rolig og fin. Vi har spist tapas over alt i Europa og denne plassen var absolutt på høyden med det meste.

Disappointing. My (spanish) wife has been wanting to go for a long time, and we had high expectations. We chose classic spanish tapas. Most were OK, but nothing like what you might have in Spain for a fifth of the price, or less. The doses were pathetic. Asking for so much money for so little food is absurd. I don't only refer to ham or meat, but even tortilla (potato omelette) was minuscule and overpriced. The very concept of "tapas" wasn't there: it should rather be like sushi bars, where you choose any single little mouthful you are going to eat and pay little money for each one (that ends up being a lot after you have eaten many different little things). Waiters didn't speak any spanish (would you trust a pizzeria where nobody speaks Italian? I wouldn't) and were clearly not used to somebody eating late on a Sunday (in Spain, that's the norm. Nobody would have lunch before 15h). Tapas are appetisers. That's what you get, but for the price of a meal at a restaurant. Five out of seven of us were spanish, and we were all disappointed.

Arrived. Waited at the entrance. Waited. Waited. No staff to be seen. After about 5 mins we (and the party ahead of us) were about to leave… just in the nick of time someone appeared. Got menus asked for Jamon while we perused. No Jamon. Maybe 15 mins later someone came to take the rest of the order… Food came quickly. It’s was ok, nothing special at all. Jamon? Oh that came over mid way through the starters. After we’d watched the lady unpeel the plastic vacuum pack and lay it out on the board. No one wanted to stay for pudding (unusually) , so we left as soon as we could catch someone’s eye to get the bill.

My friend and I had a wonderful dinner, the food was an amazing and tasty. But the best thing of the night was the waiter Luis, he sat warm, friendly, lovely and made our night special. Really happy, we are absolutely coming back.

Food was late and the chicken burger wasn’t what it usually is. The burgers were tiny and didn’t even fill the bun.

Disappointing experience. Tasteless dishes, very long time between dishes. The hot dishes were not hot, but the water was. A disappointing evening for the whole family (6 people)

Came for an early, romantic dinner. I thought we must have been the old people eating early or joining the post-work groups. We sat upstairs in a comfortable corner and had a pretty good meal. They advised 40 minutes for the paella, but it actually took a lot less time than that. Probably because it was still pretty empty and the kitchen could focus on it. We ordered 3 tapas with it and for the two of us, we should have had just two. For starters the paella was pretty good. However, the de-heading and de-shelling of the langoustine's is quite a messy affair. Wish they would have given us some proper cleaning supplies or if they took care of that ahead of time. Tasty, however. The Patatas Bravas were flavorful, but it was basically a well flavored fries/chips dish. Should have gotten something more special. The Croquetas were like Jalapeno Poppers, but without the Jalapeno (sorry, I'm from Texas). Finally, the Chorizo Tortilla was good, but again - nothing lit my fire of food passion. Go to enjoy a beautiful spot and interesting tastes.

Iberica is one of the musts Spanish restaurants in London. With reasonable prices and very traditional dishes you can never go wrong. This particular restaurant has different seating spaces that accomodate all needs. Our musts to order are: chorizo lollipops, croquetas, pan con tomate, secreto ibérico. Do not order tortilla, not good!

Food ready on time and tasted delicious

The food was good and decently priced for the location, my favourites were: Seafood paella (share between 3) Grilled octopus Prawns Cheese croquettes Patatas bravas I think suggestion of 2-3 tapas plates per person is reasonable if you are not a super hungry person. Ambiance was a bit loud at times, service wasn’t the fastest as it took at least 30 minutes for someone to acknowledge us and take the order. Tapas comes as soon as it’s ready so you don’t get all your plates at the same time. Waiting time for paella is 30 mins.

Very cozy restaurant with exquisite and quality Spanish food. I recommend the octopus and the paella. The service was very attentive and Boris was charming with his attention and recommendations.

Local takeaways with no knowledge of area

This is the best food I have eaten in some time. The food is authentic and exquisitely crafted. The service is impeccable and I felt safe in the advice on the drinks and food, as they were fantasticrecommendations. I can't wait to return.

I can't believe it took an hour from ordering to it being delivered!! One small vegetarian pizza and a Magnum icecream. Pizza was aired. They are just around the corner from where I live. The order was on a Wednesday and well after teatime orders

Only that was a bit dissapointed that paella was sold out in lunch time so nothing left for dinner guests, would reserve one next time when booking. Sangria was nice as well👍🏼 The black rice was a bit hard and lamb was underwhelming, the only two that don’t live up to the price.

A chilled environment, in which to enjoy some exquisite food. A small, well thought out menu, with a wide range of pricing, yet each dish getting the same fastidious care and attention. The wine selection displays similar craft.

the service was a real letdown. We had to practically beg for our drinks twice because the waitress kept forgetting about us, although it wasn't busy at all.The paella arrived overly burned. The presence of charred bits made it nearly inedible, a far cry from what one would expect from a Spanish restaurant.We had to ask for wipes on two separate occasions, and even then, we were given only four when we needed five. While it must be said that the overall ambiance and the non-paella dishes were enjoyable, it is hard to overlook the disappointing level of service received.

We've visited Iberica Great Portland Street many times and it's a little disappointing not to be welcomed back as regular visitors. The service is fine and the food is consistently tasty, although pricing is becoming a little prohibitive.
