I have long been looking for a Turkish restaurant that ventured outside the traditional selection of grilled meats and salads and was very happy when I saw the Counter's exciting menu. Highlights of the menu were the crab orzo, tuna wagyu and the sensational seabass. Delicious..

Came with friends on one of their recommendations. We were not let down. The restaurant is small and bustling with great food and friendly, efficient service. Really fab.

Lovely meal - great service, food was absolutely delicious. Would recommend going with a group of 4 as everything looked so good and we definitely over ordered for 2! Will be back!

We spent a wonderful afternoon here today having a long, late lunch with a large group of friends. The atmosphere was so relaxed and welcoming and the food was delicious! We particularly enjoyed their take on the classic babaganoush and tzatziki. The lamb tartare, chicken skewers and mince kebabs were also were a real hit. Needless to say, we would highly recommend this restaurant.

Average food, overpriced, over an hour for two dishes. Walked out before half had arrived. Avoid like the plague. Honestly one of the worst restaurants I’ve been to in a long time.

Pasta dish undercooked (returned), wine not chilled, no bread offered, no Parmesan offered for the pasta, the food was good but overall a poor experience for an expensive (over priced restaurant).

We came for tea and cake, we ordered mint tea and baklava. The tea was lovely and the baklava flavourful and fresh. The issue I have is the cleanliness, the teacups had dust, grease stains and lipstick marks still left on the inside. The tea pot was dusty and seemed not to have been cleaned at least on the outside. This can easily be fixed and once it is then I’d love to come back.

A delicious British chicken was about the best thing on the menu. It came with rice and adornments. Also had Baklawa for dessert. Would have given them five stars if they'd had tea/coffee/hot drinks available. Location's nice too and handy for a visit to friends!
