Ranoush - Kings Road in Kensington and Chelsea

This is a truly atrocious overpriced place now... many years the food was very fresh and reliable with very reasonable prices and lots of extras baklava with coffee, fresh fruit and salad etc ..the good was really tasty then and really good fruit juices .. now the meat is bland and awful, the juice bar gone and replaced by packaged stuff, the grill is gas grill and so meat tastes almost boiled. No more extras. Menu hugely over priced.. just avoid totally .... you will save yourself lots of money and most of all not leave the restaurant with awful experiences

Used to be very good with lots of frills. Now the fresh juice bar is gone, the salads are totally bland, tasteless, the fresh fruit extras as well as sweets with coffee are gone. The prices have gone through the roof. The grill is now gas fired and the meat worse than garage bbq. The kebabs have no spices anymore. Like many restaurants, have taken advantage of the lock down to turn the place into swindle joint.

The food is delicious, the waiter is also friendly. When reading the menu, I was quite confused about the choices. The waiter was willing to make any menu combination I wanted. The place is comfortable on the side of the road which is easy to reach from the bus stop.

Wow , the food was absolutely stunning and the service was like 5 star, super practical clean and fast , the food was way too good that I can’t describe myself, the Menager Nabil I can’t forget his name because he was incredible with his simplicity and service, thank you guys for having me and my Autie ❤️🤗

Used to be good but have heavily gone downhill. Bought 2 kebab rolls for £17 but guess what, they want £6 extra per roll for sauces which were always free before and a third the size. Taking the proverbial and will never use their greedy restaurant again. Used to like Lebanese but never again. They are a disgrace to their race and should stop trying to rip Londoners off after welcoming you into the UK. Absolutely disgraceful and will never go near a Lebanese restaurant or any of them again

Ranoush was amazing place to eat in but that was before the dreaded Covid 19 pandemic. It’s now just take away and delivery but still excellent!

I bought lamb shawerma the meat was not to the good standard. All maroush branches the quality of food is very good . That's why I was upset .

If you like your shawarma very oily with burnt ,hard pieces of chicken ,almost impossible to eat, you found it!!! If I only could give 0 stars,that would be my choice.

Chicken Shawarma. £15 for what was a few scraps chicken in a wrap! Very poor! If this place was on the Edware Road it'd be out of business within a very short space of time. The Lebanese food around Edware road is awesome. Ranoush was very poor. Miniscule portion of what they gave me was unflavoursome.

I only get my wraps from here!! Lamb or Chicken or mixed it's the best hands down!! Some of that Vermicelli Rice to go too!! Service always good gonna order some soon and drive down to pick it up!! BTW Garlic Sauce is next level.

Today I order mix wrap for £8.50 and I was surprised when I received was very small sandwich worth like £2 and when I called for the explanation the guy told me from now on that the size of the sandwich so is gonna be my last order

The prices for their garlic and chilli sauce alone are ridiculous. I politely requested if they can make mix both chilli and garlic sauce together for price of one as it’s a solo takeaway and the not so gentleman rudely refused. In total I paid £4 for garlic and chilli sauce. Bring your own condiments 😂

Lamb shawarma wrap was very tasty

My shawarma did not arrive in my order so I called the restaurant and they said there was nothing they could do. They could not send me another driver, the only thing I could do was request a refund through Just Eat. So now I have to wait 7 days to maybe get my money back for food that didn’t arrive. No food, out of pocket, paid £18.00 for some chips. And they were extremely unhelpful. Very unhappy.

The shawarma wraps are tasty however the chip portion has halfed recently and the cost is a staggering £4.75 for a small box of chips which is more then anywhere else I know

Chicken wasn’t cooked properly, made me feel ill

Was very disappointed by the maqaneq sandwich I ordered the other day. It came ice cold with old tomato and no pickle. Been a loyal customer for years but the quality is slipping

We went for dinner, ohhhh smoke of grill came inside the dining area, no one bothered from staff, very expensive, We had Shawrma too cold , old and oily. I hope the owner take something about. This place used to be good.

Hands down the best shawarma in London! Lived in London since 2008 and tried a variety of shawarma. Also lived in Berlin, Germany where there is a big Arabic community but still I keep coming back to this place. Hands down the best shawarma in town! Sorry no pictures to show as I always eat them too fast to photograph XD

We've been fans of this group for over 10 years - over 25 meals and >100 takeaways from sister restaurant Beirut Express South Kensington. When that closed, we started ordering takeaways from this place - and what a poor experience that has been over the last 5 weeks. The first delivery was OK - portion of fries was a reasonable size, well cooked, crispy. Salad so/so, baba ganoush nice. 2nd delivery - the £4.50 fries had halved in size (they fitted in a coffee mug), and were not cooked properly so had to put them in oven. The Baba Ganoush had also halved in size, but the salad had not. 3rd delivery - £4.50 fries again half the size we'd been getting over the years, not properly cooked - and this time, the £6 Lebanese spicy salad was half its previous size, no dressing, just a little tub of side dressing for some leaves and chopped peppers, and missing all the wonderful spicyness and other ingredients we were used to. The baby grilled chicken remains nice, and that portion size has not reduced (hard to do that). SUCH a disappointment that this place has gone downhill, as we liked the healthy food options on offer - but almost £50 for one coffee cup sized portion of chips, a teacup of Baba Ganoush, 4 x falafels, a salad and a small grilled baby chicken is now very poor value for money. Would not recommend.

Have been going to Maroush/Ranoush for many any years and loved it, and having been to Lebanon many times I have tasted really authentic food. So disappointed that the quality of some of the food has deteriorated in a big way. We ordered Shish Taouk (okay but not with the usual succulence) but came as a smaller portion but with new potatoes (why??) on the side but none of the pickles - the fattoush which should be a delicious tasty salad with a number of different salad vegetables + herbs and sumac - but it was basically a very roughly chopped and nondescript garden salad with just large chunks of lettuce, tomato and red and yellow peppers and a very bland dressing- where was that wonderful flavour of the Middle East?

Shwarma could have been more hot, however it was tasty.... the chips are amazing 👏

I bought a wrap for takeaway and it would of been nice if they didn’t try to be cheap and give me old dry hard pieces of chicken .

Fab lamb shawarma and tasty fruit juices

1. Shawarma, Hummus and Fatouch cost £20 pounds its too over priced. 2. Shawarma wasn't fresh 3. Hummus was missing olive oil and taste like canned hummus. 4. Fatouch was salad like taste worst of my order Come on you can do better than that, I am unhappy with your prices and the quality of your food. So never again going there.

Tight seating, a bit pricey, food is v.good. Portions decent. Their chicken shish is great.

Seating is very cramped and the menu was a but overpriced (£16 for some cubes of chicken!), but the food was very good and the baklawa at the end of the meal was an absolute dream. Melt in the mouth and not too sweet.

Shawarma or kebab Taste is not amazing price is very expensive 2 shawarma sandwish and 1 coke was £15.10. crazy!!! will never come here again you feel like they are robbing u!

Very relaxed and feels authentic. Not scruffy but busy used feel. Sit at counter on comfortable chairs. Food menu is great and lots of vegetarian choices. Food was tasty. They do loads of takeout. Felt it was good value.

Best mixed kebab wrap I ever had.

Consistently awesome, reasonably priced middle eastern fare from this upscale riff on the standard kebab shop. Wraps are the best value on the menu, and the chili sauce (which you need to request separately) is next-level. Humous beiruiti, baba and tabbouleh are all also worth a look.

Ranoush and its sister restaurants has fallen to new lows, overpriced, with low quality ingredients, indifferent preparation, and tasteless food. Absdolutely the worst take away in a long time.

I pop in here from time to time. While this place is a bit of dump, it has some of the best Lebanese food in London. Polish waitresses but excellent Lebanese chefs. Love it!!

Tasty shawarmas of good quality lamb and chicken .

Just got supper and not impressed with her service and spoilt the occasion. There is so much choice of places for food and this one did not impress. Suggest you try elsewhere.

The best chicken and lamb shawarma wraps in London. Make sure you ask for the wrap though, whether eating in or out. All the food here is top quality and great tasting and the freshest salad and fruit. Love it

The place is extremely small and seats close to the kitchen so you go out smelling like libanese food but we had a great dinner, food was very good, probably the best idea is to order take away if you live nearby

Have been going here for years. Food is a good as the one in Edgware Road, however the service is a lot better, especially as some baklava is left on the house with the bill.

Sat outside on a little table watching life on the Kings Rd go by while eating dish after dish of wonderful mezze. Everything was fresh and tasted how it should. This a super place to stop even for a juice and a shawarma. It will be one of my to go places.

Excellent food in a long narrow restaurant which was obviously short of staff for dining clients like us. They are ever so busy with their deliveries that I felt in the way of the delivery drivers picking up the plastic bags they were to deliver. Only one waitress was nice enough but rushed off her feet. Toilet not great, uncomfortable seating, so I agree with other reviewers on this. HOWEVER, food was so, SO SO SO delicious that my congratulations go to those chefs sweating it out behind the counter, and to the waitress for smiling despite having to run around so much. I will go back, just because the food was ever so good.

Consistently good, fast and very nice indeed. I live around the corner and eat here (or order from here) all the time. It is my favourite Lebanese restaurant.

I went with my husband and son to have a meal,the place inside is so narrow and very small tables with two chairs on each side. When my son and husband seat on the table there was hardly any space for me to seat. I turned my chair a bit on the side and the waitress was so rude and told me that the Manager told her, I cannot move the chair on the side. Very very rude staff, the food is ok but the staff horrible with no experience of customer service. I will never go there again.

Definitely get a chicken shwarma, makes an excellent change from the chicken kebabs we all love. Love the king prawns with spicy sauce and you can also get this as a wrap. I'm a big fan of the lettuce cucumber and tomato salad which is a large portion and tastes good. The spicy 🌶 sausage isn't bad but its certainly very Middle Eastern and I don't like the fact that it still has the lining left around it when in the wrap.

Great quality kebab place in Chelsea which stays open late. Prices are good, especially for the area. Staff are very nice.

Acabamos de descubrir este gran pequeño restaurante. La comida era genial, muy fresca y servida rápidamente, lo que significaba que teníamos tiempo para disfrutarla antes de ir a una película. La comida normal, servicio grosero. El sharwarma es realmente pequeño y no tiene mucho sabor. No nos dejaron para sentarse y comer, ya que nos dijeron que el lugar es de cierre (30 minutos antes de la hora de cierre indicada en google) pero otras personas que llegaron después de nosotros nos permitieron que es bastante desagradable. Realmente hay lugares mucho mejores para comer en la zona así que no pierdas tu dinero!

My favourite Lebanese place, fantastic quality food. Some staff seemed a little bit uninterested but overall service was very quick and food as always...perfect.

OMG Melon juice is soooooo refreshingly scrumptious. Also highly recommend the shawarmas as the meat is perfectly marinated. Feeling brave the chicken liver shawarma is epic too

Love Maroush! Had a great Lamb sandwich and some starters and it's as good as ever. They close later than their neighbours, which is very nice.
