Maroush Bakehouse Hyde Park Corner in Kensington and Chelsea

Anytime I'm with "can't miss" distance of Maroush (at Harrods) I pop in and get a Chicken Shawarma for takeaway. I can't speak to other dishes but being a self proclaimed Shawarma fanatic I can say Maroush makes a totally delicious one. Grab it and go!

Jóvenes cocinar con amor, sugerencias personales del camarero italiano! Y volvimos después de 3 horas para almorzar y fue más delicioso! berenjenas muy bien preparados y frescos ingredientes, cordero simplemente delicioso! Servicios y precios perfecto! Sin duda volveré! ¡Gracias!

went as a family of 6,busy eve,this place has been there for years, so you can see is popular with locals.Food service was disjointed, bread came cold, service was not good, waiter was talking to somebody for ages , so hard to ask for things.children liked the sharwarma, and had falafel and kibbeh, was good. baklawa dessert was worst I have tasted, very dry, and kanafe looked horrible, kids did not eat it, and is a favourite.must be better places to eat in area, think this place does not try hard enough to attract new customers in.

Oggi voglio recensire questo piccolo ma molto carino ristorante "Maroush Bakehouse" situato vicino il parco di Hyde Park. Il ristorante è molto carino composto da due livelli con posti pure all'esterno.. Il cibo è molto buono con vasta scelta di piatti pronti da ordinare, il servizio è molto veloce, consiglio la carne con le patate..

Not just your usual selection of food. Great selection of Lebanese and Mediterranean food at very reasonable prices. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Nice place for lunch and a good spot for a business meeting.

Girls were not friendly at all. I had a feeling like they were doing me a favour serving me. They were also talking in another language- it wasn't very professional. I didn't receive a receipt because the girl threw it away. Unfriendly and unexperienced staff.

Really lovely fresh salads, with gorgeous chicken and big portions. Perfect for a nice lunch break to eat in, or a quick takeaway too!

Maroush Bakehouse è un piccolo ristorante take away vicino ad Hyde Park dove si può gustare, anche per asporto, una serie di piatti libanesi ad un prezzo abbordabile. E', in pratica, un "distaccamento " del famoso ristorante Maroush di Edgware Road, rinomato per la sua cucina libanese e considerato di lusso. Uno dei migliori in assoluto a Londra. La qualità del loro cibo è ottima e adatta a tutti le esigenze. Consiglio a tutti per provare qualcosa di diverso.

Se rapportato al costo di Londra è abbordabile, e senza dubbio ne vale la pena. Si mangia semplicemente, ma soprattutto bene! Ottima anche la possibilità di asporto per un bel pic-nic nel parco.

Just round the corner from Hyde Park - a gem! Great for a bite to eat - very good (and quick) service and brilliant food. Well priced too (main course and drink just under £10). Looked like they do takeaways too.

Good place for a quick bite or even to meet for a coffee. Its location is slightly remote and the food and service are good.

If you want a change in taste and have a love for taste for the middle eastern satisfying meal - just walk in into Maroush . The mouth watering hummus , pitta, Falafel , will leave you asking for more . The location ,and the prices compared to London eateries are friendly . The freshness of the food and the service is worth going there for every meal . No breakfast here .

Decided to try breakfast as an alternative to the hotel and found it quite good. Dining here twice we had a continental breakfast one morning and this was very good however the second morning we ordered scrambled eggs and I have to say these were far to dry.However the service is friendly and the coffee good.

We came across this cafe by chance and it turned out to be a great find. The food was freshly prepared with a quality side salad and dressing. The pastries were gorgeous and complemented by a large pot of tea. The staff were friendly and to top it off the price was extremely reasonable. We will definitely visit again when next in London.

Pâtisserie disposant de quelques tables où l'on peut entre autres prendre une boisson ou son petit déjeuner. English breakfast très correct à 9 livres (avril 2015) avec œufs pochés, 2 saucisses ,du lard maigre, haricots, champignons, toast et jus orange ou café ou thé et marmelade. Un endroit agréable pour une petite pause ou se restaurer à des prix corrects pour le quartier. Nous y retournerons volontiers.

Really friendly coffee shop and bake house with a really nice blend of Lebanese, Mediterranean and British foods. Reasonably priced (given its proximity to Knightsbridge ) and lots of wonderful aromas. I had goats cheese and veg focaccia, my daughter had ham and cheese panini it was great and cost less than 20 quid. Definitely worth a visit

Ledte efter et sted at få engelsk morgenmad. Da vores hotel ikke serverede meget andet end toastbrød. Fandt denne lille cafe. De havde præcist hvad vi søgte. Lækker morgenmad med frisk appelsin juice og kaffe.

Whilst out for a Sunday stroll we fancied some lunch and came across this bake house. It looked busy and we wondered if we would get a table but couldn't see that there was also seating downstairs which the waitress directed us to.The cuisine is primarily Lebanese but they also offer pastries, cakes and paninis.We chose a BLT and a Tuna Mayo panini, a coffee and a mint tea. The drinks arrived quickly followed in swift order by the Panini's which were generously filled and accommpanied by a side salad with a spicy dressing.Toilets were also downstairs near the kitchen and were adequate, nothing fancy.Total bill £14.85 which we thought was very good value indeed. You have to go to the till to pay on your way out.They also have rolls and pastries/cakes to takeaway.

Really good food and service. Recommended if you need somewhere for a convenient lunch in between meetings. Informal place so go somewhere else if you need a big client lunch but this place is especially good because there aren't many other places to go nearby.

We had a busy schedule every day in our last trip to London so sitting down and taking the sweet time for breakfast is out of the question for us. This place offers exactly the convenience and fresh bakery and even something for a packed lunch for a long day touring. The nice thing also is that they open very early like 7am or about. You get your fresh breakfast done before any tour activities start.

Stopped off at the Maroush Bakehouse when walking back from V&A and Harrods towards Green Park and Piccadilly. We only had a coffee and a coke but the cakes and food being served all looked good. The service is good and staff very friendly. Prices were good, particularly in an area you expect to pay a lot more. Keen pricing, good service and food, all in a good location meant it got pretty busy.

This is a nice place to grab a snack whilst you wait for the always-late Green line 702 service to Slough. Friendly and efficient staff, with nice freshly cooked food.

Bright and cheerful, clean and inviting...Maroush Bakehouse, with a posh address in Knightsbridge, proved to be an ideal lunchtime oasis as my wife and I took time out from a marathon walkabout in the capital.This is clearly a hugely popular eaterie with office workers as they happily queue for freshly made sandwiches and wraps along with a mouth-watering array of confectionery.Quite a few customers were eating in, tucking enthusiastically into inviting dishes of generous proportions.We were content with the same choice - a falafel wrap each packed with spices and peppers, accompanied by a cracking fresh salad. Excellent!A diet coke and sparkling water helped it all go down a treat.This establishment, manned by a highly professional, friendly team is well placed to deal with the demands of hungry Knightsbridge workers or, as in our case, weary walkers!

We were hungry!!! We needed a nibble and Naroush was the only clean looking place we saw.We had two coffees and two pastries (which were very good) we thought £8.70 was a lot of money!The cakes in the cabinet had no prices on them!The place was clean and the service was good, but I felt robbed!

If your looking for a quick bite on route to attractions Hyde Park , Harrods etc , Maroush was pleasant and food was reasonably priced .Friendly staff and nice atmosphere A couple of English breakfasts £9.00 each very well cooked , sausage was delicious .Smoked salmon and scrambled eggs £7.50 were reasonably priced .Nice Coffee .Down stairs needs some decorating ,as its a bit grubby and toilets need refurbing as not very clean.

Vi hadde en deilig frokost på denne lille kafeen ved Hydepark corner.En velfylt og delikat disk med masse innbydende mat og kaker lokket oss inn til to veldig hyggelige damer som gjorde sitt for at frokosten ble en god opplevelse.Kommer helt klart til å stikke innom her igjen :-)

Locale di aspetto informale al primo piano per un pasto rapido e più formale al piano interrato dove è offerta musica e danza del ventre. Ottima cucina medio-orientale, ottimi couscous, biwat, tagine, grill. Interessante il vino libanese. Ottimo e gentile sia lo staff che il servizio al tavolo.

Nous avons fait une petite pause "gouter" dans ce petit resto / salon de thé. Accueil agréable. Muffins délicieux (compter sur place 2.50 L le muffin).

The carrot cake was grand as well. All in all a great little find an oasis in a busy part of town.. Well worth a stop off for a quick refreshment...

Happened upon this place on a morning's sightseeing. A range of delicious lebanese pastries and great coffee. Glad that we popped in and staff were superb!

De passage à Londres dans le quartier de Hyde Park, nous avons trouvé ce petit restaurant pour prendre un breakfast typique Anglais, (un service qui nous a paru un peu long mais quand j'ai vu l'assiette bien copieuse) le temps normale quand il faut cuire toutes les tranches de bacons les œufs + toute le reste. bref une bonne adresse et en plus pas très chère.

Bel localino, ottimo servizio, prezzi contenuti per la qualità dell'offerta. Menu con scelta abbastanza varia, dai piatti caldi alle insalate, ai sandwiches, alla pasticceria. Perfetto per uno snack/pranzo veloce in preparazione del tour da Harrods' (raggiungibile con cinque minuti di passeggiata). Il bagno, una chicca: pulitissimo.

i would definitely recomment a visit if you 're in London .Warm and welcoming with very friendly staff , i had the best coffee ever and a great food also a brilliant value for money . i really enjoyed it .

We had a very nice lunch here. The haloumi salad was wonderful, and so was the plate with different libanese specialities. For dessert we shared a nice almond croissant. The service was friendly and efficient. Upstairs is very nice, but avoid the basement.The toilets were not very nice - the ladies were out of order, and the gents room smeller a bit. Hope they make the repairs fast.

i tried this Maroush Bakehouse for a breakfast i did this few days last visiti see-that the food is as good as in the big department stores chains restaurantsi like and i will have again even the hotel comes with breakfast

The restaurant has a great degrade in quality and service;Food is warmed from frozenLebanese bread also warmed from friden.Hommous was too sour and liquid.

Great place to eat after a long day sightseeing .Found this delightful little place by chance but we'll worth the visit .Good selection of sandwiches, panninis or toasties served with salad and an excellent dressing ,desserts on offer if that's you desire .Will certainly visit again

nicht das sie denken hier wird es billig! Nein, London ist teuer und das merkt man überall. Hier bekommt man allerdings die Qualität und die Dienstleistung und man zahlt dann gerne diese Preise. Viel Platz für ein Kaffe, kleiner Auswahl an Kuchen die dafür umso besser schmecken. Toilette ist auch vorhanden.

the food was not tasty at all. Also it was too salty. the staff are unfriendly. the best thing there is the location which is 3 minutes from Harrods.

Stumbled upon this cafe while having a walk and popped in for some lunch. We were pleasantly suprised when our food came. I opted for the feta cheese ciabatta and my partner had a garlic chicken wrap. We shared and both were delicious. Both came with plenty of Fresh side salad with dressing. The value for money was fantastic and would definately recommend this place.
