Doner kebabs are made of meat, not minced meat. They are very delicious. It is a place where you can go with your family and eat safely. Especially the mezhil mixed kebab is enough for 3 people. Thank you.

I ordered the Mazhil Special at this restaurant for myself, my wife and my two kids, it was a very generous portion with lots to box up and take away! The food was really hot, fresh and extremely juicy! The ribs were crazy! Great service, I was more than happy with 2 boxes to take home, will be back 🙌😇

I have been a fan of Turkish food for years but struggle to find a nice place to eat out at, instead of a takeaway, since I found this place I try and go once a week, it is that nice, the lunch deal is really good. Basically 15 quid for a full mixed donner with chips or rice and a starter and drink.... Amazing deffo try it

Best kabeb place to go to really friendly people and they have all the food that you can think of. We have been there so many times and had great service and great food. They have loads of seating and in music playing in the background.

The restaurant is a joke, place an order last night which was accepted and they don’t send it out but decide to send the order the next morning at 9am, the manager was a rude and disrespectful person who didn’t apologise but she decided to tell me she sent out the order as requested, clearly she has no idea of what she’s doing!

I give them 1 stars because the restaurant is cold and they should make sure their customers are warm and cozy and not leave the door open there are children there are babies they should make sure they are warm not cold we froze in this restaurant we were in jackets

Gutted to see a Turkish restaurant look so unhygienic.

I found the staff very rude when I enquired about what was included in the price of the meal. I was left feeling awkward and I no longer wanted to eat there. They did not even try and rectify their error. I will continue to go to Su, Capital or Kervan Restaurants.

PLEASE DO NOT ORDER FOOD FROM THIS PLACE. Me and my colleague went for lunch at this place, we asked for separate bills. For some weird reason my card wasn't working even though I had money in my account and when the waitress showed me the card machine it didn't even display 'card declined' I think it said 'replace card' so she took my card and inserted it prompted me to tap in my pin code but still didn't work. My colleague offered to pay for me, its when I got home I checked my account and it said money has been paid, I called the restaurant and explained what had happened and she communicated this to the waitress the one who served me and she kept saying she gave me a void receipt, we did not get any sort of receipt. So afterwards she advised to come and show proof which I confirmed I did not receive any receipts. I had to go back to the restaurant where the waitress who served me firstly said 'I never took your money' I never used those words I had said there has been a mistake in payments. She kept maintaining 'she never took my money'. I then asked for the lady I spoke to on the phone as she had spoken better English to which she said its nothing to do with me I didn't serve you etc so I had repeatedly explain my situation which the staff were ignoring me, continuing with their work and the chefs even were laughing at the situation. In the end, the waitress aggressively opened the till and showed the money into my hand and tried to grab me which I found unacceptable. CONCLUSION: these people scam you and try to get extra money out of you then play dumb and not take responsibility so PLEASE DO NOT ATTEND and besides the food was RUBBISH

Do not trust I ordered based on their online menus but when I went to the shop and they charged me much more. I asked why as I had ordered based on the price on their website. They said their prices on the website was out of date and they couldn’t up date it. They refused to honour their online prices. 0 customer service

Not very good this time. This used to be very nice.

Taste is really great. I just love it. I have been a regular customer of Mazhil for the last several months kept telling my friends to try it often. But i think thr price chart should be reviewed and it should be updated online. For example the i felt like 38 pounds mix kebab platter is worth buying but if i take a 30 pounds platter that looks not even half of that 38 pounds platter. It's so disappointing. I think other restaurant's 26pounds platter is even worth buying in comparison to it. On the other hand if you buy a item of regular size, the large size of that item's price is exactly double whereas It's common everywhere the larger you buy the more price benefit you get. For example ifvthe price of regular size item is 6 pounds large size should be 10 or 11 but most often thats exactly double in Mazhil. One more thing, I've searched for it’s menu online but the one is available neither matches the current prices nor It's has every single items in it. Hope online menu gets updated so that customers can get an idea of availability and prices. Thanks

Been there twice now and can say that food is delicious. Small restaurant but not too busy. Staff are friendly and accommodating to request so there is a good atmosphere. We like that we can view chef and baker skills as this area is viewable. We'll be going there again.

Great people serving great food. One of the best turkish restaurant in town. I've been visiting this lovely restaurant in side the edmonton green bus stop, since they opened back in 2010. There are car parks and street parkings nearby.

Just got 2 Lahmacun was super cold because full of salad when ask for little bit and when I called to tell the lady she was very rude was not accepting my complain and that we didn't say that we wanted abit of salad and her reply was coz the salad is in the freezer so I might get cold. And nothing said about come we make you a new one nope nothing never again. This is for the boss get people who listen and understand properly

I have never ever tasted poisonous food but this food that I ate felt like having poison but the bread was nice like my home bread and hopefully mazhil can up there levels and the lamb was more chewier then bubblegum and the chicken was so hard that I felt like I was eating my spoon and folks instead

But it seems that the old staff have gone and have been replaced by rather rude inconsiderate staff... They had a large family birthday in there tonight and only a couple of other tables, including me and my mate but we were largely ignored, food wasn't up to the standard it used to be and no offer of Turkish tea to finish (which is a standard really) I hope that the old staff were only off tonight and haven't left totally as if they have Edmonton Green has lost a once lovely restaurant... Where do I start... We ordered for the first time by phone for a collection, which I went to collect £42.50's worth. I arrived at the restaurant which was pleasant, the food wasn't ready so I sat to wait. It became obvious that they had forgotten an item and I was there for an additional 15 mins ( I hadn't got there early) The food was bagged and I took it home approx 5mins away. It smelt really good. Unfortunately it wasn't. The haloumi starter was very difficult to eat and I love salt. The calamari was breaded looked like it came from a packet was cold and inedible. The garlic mushrooms , the cause of the delay , were drowned in cheese and very greasy , they were hot however. The mains , the kleftiko (lamb shank) was cold , the meat was very tender but flavour less. My sea bass , was cold and dry , a shame because it smelt great. The chicken wings were very nice . The salad , bread and sauces were all ok , But as there was so much at fault my girlfriend decided to call and let them know. The person on the phone was rude and insulting and was only interested in arguing , trying to tell us that the food we were unable to eat and were staring at was perfectly fine. We decided to go back to the store in person to show them that the food was unacceptable and to ask for a refund of the offending items. When we got to the shop , the staff were rude and insulting , telling us that there food is great and that we don't know what we are talking about .They acknowledged that they had forgotten an item , but not that that had caused the food to be delayed and to go cold. We had to leave the restaurant as the manager and most of his staff started to crowd us and start telling us to not ever come back to their establishment , that we were stupid and didn't know what we were talking about. They refunded the full amount despite the fact that we only wanted a refund for the unacceptable dishes, we took it and left before I lost my temper. They spoke rudely and aggressively towards a woman both on the phone and in person, this kind of behaviour is unacceptable. I would avoid this place , there are alternative better choices available.

A cosy and quiet place, mid week dinner. Staffs were nice. Lahmacun was tasty, food was nice. Lots of variety on menu.

I really love this place I used to come here after work to get a lamb shish for dinner and they're always so kind. Honestly it's the first good lamb shish kebab I've ever had so I'm glad that introduced me to it. A lady makes the breads every morning and you can see her through the window everything here is fresh clean and I would recommend it.

Small Chicken kebab and chips. Kebab tasted and smelt very greasy (off putting smell). The chips smelt and tasted as if the oil was long overdue for exchange. Very large portion even for a small size which could serve two so thumbs up for that. Based on the smell and taste I wouldn’t recommend the Mazhil.

Great place in Edmonton. Staff were very polite and helpful. Food was BRILLIANT! Really fresh bread, vegetables and salad. Had one beer, a main course mixed shish and tea and baklava. Cost £17 which was well worth it.

I have been to this restaurant many time and food never disappoints. The consistently deliver good food which is reasonably priced, also get takeaways which are as good. Definitely recommend. The Adana kebab is my favourite. Not keen on the mix personally, prefer to pick my own dishes and mix it up.

Convenient for the bus and rail stations we decided to eat in Edmonton Green before we caught a train. Started off okay with a friendly greeting. Dips, bread and salad soon appeared and the tzatiki was nice. The rice with the main meal had a very nice flavour but the meat was well overcooked and quite dry. The piece of bread under the meat had no meat juices seeping onto it so that was quite hard. The choice of rose wine by the glass was only of the "house" variety and was only just about drinkable. When paying we were offered Turkish tea but declined and no little treat of what looked like baklava given to everyone else when paying failed to appear. It was fun watching the lady at the bread oven.

Had a lamb and chicken kebab sat in the restaurant. Was really tasty. Good portion size. And friendly service. Located right by the bus station in town. And near the hotel I was staying at. Will eat here again

On this occasion the staff serving me was very rude and discriminating .spoke with attitude and serve me absolutely rubbish quality soup .very disppointed in the staff approach to people who is not from his culture and background .he spoke to me like I had no idea what I was ordering .stared at me with disgust and made me feel unwelcome . Complained about this to manager who apologised on the staff behalf . I really expected staff to have been trained in customer care .

I caught the 259 Bus to the Edmonton Green Terminus to see what was there. Instead of heading straight back I happened upon this restaurant flanking the Terminus. I ordered a lamb kebab. It was cooked on the coals and came beautifully presented with rice and roast chilli. In addition a freshly baked piece of Turkish bread and three salads. The green salad was outstandingly fresh. This was all accompanied by the house red. Apart from the charcoal cooking of the meat, a large oven was tended by a skilled lady baker in a white headscarf who produce the bread continuously. By the window another member of the family cooked and stockpiled pancakes. An unexpected find and a delight. Murray

Casual dining. Food is high quality and very tasty, service is acceptable and overall its good value for money. The waiter could do with brushing up on his English language, aside from that it's hard to fault. This was my second time here and I've been very satisfied on both visits.

Had a wonderful hot meze and mixed grill. The Turkish wine was great too! Also great coffee and baklava.

Set lunch of £8.50 includes a starter, main and canned drink. The place was roomy and service was prompt and helpful. Open fire for grilling and somebody making fresh flat breads the whole time we were there was great. We had lovely complimentary bread, a huge salad. The portions were huge, fresh and delicious. I shall definitely come again. And again!

Wow, stopped over enfield for the night as had a meeting in the morning.We had mushrooms for starter and chicken shish for main.Very fresh, amazing taste, and great service. We also had complimentary bread, which the waiter topped up. Will be back again!

The ribs are exceptional but they have excellent Turkish bread and other tasty dishes. Their skewered meats are amazing in taste and well cooked. (Chicken wings lamb cubes chicken cubes pork chops)I have been ordering from them for over a year now and I recommend them to everyone if you like good roasted meat.
