Previously a good restaurant, now a fantastic one. The decor is modern and works well with the big windows. The service was perfectly attentive (not too much). Ingredients and dishes were fresh and delicious. We’re lucky to be spoiled for choice when it comes to restaurants in Cockfosters and Deraliye is up there with the best.

We came back to this wonderful Deraliye restaurant for the second time, and it was a truly special experience for us — it’s where we had our first date two years ago. Coming back brought back so many beautiful memories, and everything was just as amazing as we remembered. The food is absolutely delicious — full of flavor, fresh, and authentic. You can really taste the love and care that goes into each dish. The service was top-notch as well. The staff is incredibly attentive and welcoming, making us feel right at home. This place holds a special place in our hearts, and we’re so glad it continues to impress. Highly recommended for both the food and the atmosphere! 💙

The Turkish apple cocktail with cherry and honey is beautiful but I had cocktails and wine , which is why my cost is high and the for price it is reasonable ! Great service

An Absolute Gem of a Turkish Restaurant I had the pleasure of dining here today and was completely blown away. The wine selection is unreal—we chose a Bordeaux that was not only delicious but also very fairly priced. We ordered the mixed meat platter, which was phenomenal. The lamb shish and lamb chops were the absolute standouts—tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. We also had the tuna carpaccio, which was fresh and beautifully presented. The customer service was genuinely the best I've ever experienced. You really feel the refinement from the moment you walk in—like you're a VIP in your own neighbourhood. It's rare to find that level of attention and warmth. And then... the dessert. And the Turkish tea. Both were the perfect end to an incredible meal. They’ve redone the decor, and it’s stunning—like dining in Mayfair, but luckily it’s right around the corner. The quality, the atmosphere, the service—it’s all unrivaled. We’ll definitely be back

Recently revamped Deraliye has a tasteful and chic new interior very inviting. If I could give Deraliye 100 stars I would. The fusion of new and previous menu is delicious and is by far the best kebabs tasted on this stretch of Cockfosters in London in fact…we had a mixed kebab so got to sample a great variety, the home made chips a pleasant surprise… the staff kind and attentive will keep Coming back to my new old favourite 🥰

Just returned here after its refurbishment. Money well spent! The place looks and feels completely refreshed. Theres a new exciting menu and the mixed meat platter we had was amazing. The flavour was the best I’ve had for a long time. Enjoy.

Fantastic to be back at the newly refurbished Deraliye. We really enjoyed the new menu and tried a couple of their new hot mezes which we really liked and would definitely order again. The hot grills have really stepped up in quality since our last visit. Both the Chicken and Lamb Shish were delicious. Everybody who worked there were also really friendly and gave great service. Visited for the first time yesterday and had a great experience. The staff were incredibly kind and welcoming we had a nice chat.l. Loved the flatbread and the hummus, and the portions were generous - everything was delicious. Prices were reasonable. Will definitely be back!

Lovely food. I had the cold mixed meze- fresh, flavoursome and generously portioned. Mixed grill was tasty and the meat was moist. Excellent service and effeicient staff - calm atmosphere

We tried the mixed grill and it was just amazing! The started with the apple is kinda unique so I don’t know if I would recommend it. Also everything from the desserts was 10/10. Our waiter Emrah could possibly be the best waiter we had during our whole trip. He knew what to recommend and all around was a very pleasant guy!

Came here last night for family birthday celebrations and the service was 10/10. From beginning to end of the meal, they really looked after you and were very attentive and paid attention to the little details. Couldn't fault them and the platter was recommended to us and worth it! We got 2 platters (each platter serves 2) which was enough for all 5 of us!

Lovely decor. However, the food was overpriced and the lamb shish was under seasoned and very chewy. Also really loud music made it difficult to hear and waiters not very friendly. Would not go back

We celebrated one of our friends birthday at this restaurant today. The food was delicious and thoughtfully presented. Very polite and friendly staff. Atmosphere was great too. We all had a lovely time.

Amazing food great atmosphere..

DELICIOUS!!!! At first I was a little apprehensive; its an upmarket restaurant, very smart and I thought perhaps might be on the pricy side. However when the food was served I was instantly allayed. The food was simply superb! The best Turkish food we've ever had, and we must've eaten in a dozen or so Turkish restaurants in recent years. The portion sizes were great and despite ordering a four person platter for five people, we still has some to take home! Highly recommended.

Without a doubt, the best Turkish restaurant in the area! Stands out from the others for its outstanding service and quality ingredients. Since being recommended by a friend, I have visited every couple of weeks and I’m always walking away happy and satisfied - if you haven’t eaten here please do give it a try - you won’t be disappointed.

We had a lunch over there. The atmosphere and service were very well. The cold mixed meze was brilliant and you should try it first. The mixed kebab was ok. Unfortunately, the Adana kebab was a bit row in middle and we could’ve had it. Apart of this everything was great.

Restaurant is an excellent, brilliant. Turshid foods are tasty. Service is wonderful. Ayron drink is very very delicious.

We had a nice meal last night with our friends whose owners we love very much, Adana was excellent, I highly recommend it, a normal portion of Adana is 18 pounds, it comes with appetizers and sashata, enjoy your meal.

Amazing restaurant, delicious food and fabulous service! Best Turkish food in London (definitely better than Kervan Sofrasi) and would definitely recommend eating out here if you’re looking for a place to eat in Cockfosters! The staff are so lovely, especially the waitress, Eliz, who served me.

First time to this lovely authentic Mediterranean restaurant. As we are vegetarian, we were a bit worried, but there was a fabulous list of dishes and we loved it. The service was excellent in spite of being busy and the price was very reasonable. Looking forward to returning again soon

My family and I had a lunch here after going to GoApe. It was the best turkish dinner we had in London. We ordered the platter for 4 and it was more than enough for 5 people. The platter had different type of meats served on bread, rice, bulgur and chips.The staff were friendly, particularly Erdem who my niece had a conversation with in Turkish. Victoria also offered us complimentary Turkish tea.

We have been to a lot of Turkish Restaurants in the UK, but this is by far the best in terms of food and service.

Me and my boyfriend have come here multiple times now for lunch . The food is exceptional . The grilled chicken is so juicy and one of the nicest I’ve ever had . The bread and starters are really good . I tried a cocktail over the weekend and it was very nice . I usually go at lunch and it’s quiet and cozy . Staff are lovely too . Honestly a hidden gem .

Went for dinner for the third time with friends recently. Another fantastic meal - food was superb. The restaurant also has a really nice setting too, with a good vibe. It can be a little noisy in there, but hey it's good to have some life. Will definitely visit again

It was such a delicious food. In my opinion this is one of the best Turkish restaurant in North of London. Every dish that we ordered was fresh, good quality and delicious. Service is great as well. Highly recommended..

First time here for a date night, really nice place, the service on point and the food super good. We will come back to keep exploring the menu, this time the grilled Seabass and the vegetables Moussaka did the magic.

First time coming. We ordered a grill platter. I Have been to alot Turkish restaurants but the quality and taste of food is by far the best I've tasted. To top it off fantastic service the staff couldn't do enough for us and we never needed to call anyone over, they were consistanly on top of everything bringing clean plates and cleaning the table and topping up our drinks without asking. Overall a lovely family friendly restaurant. Will definitely be back. Thank you

This is a wonderful restaurant, the food is amazing, We had the mixed grill and every bite was succulent and juicy! Also the service was really good and the restaurant itself was clean and well decorated.

Stumbled across this gem by accident and luckily got one of the few tables remaining. Food was amazing, one of the best meals I've ever had (goose kebab). Would highly recommend if visiting Istanbul. Given 4 stars for the Atmosphere, as was seated outside with a lot of cars driving past.

While passing by, we saw the Turkish Cuisine sign and wanted to try it. The taste of the appetizers was on my palate throughout the journey... You should definitely try the tarama and beans with olive oil. I think the octopus is one of the best in this restaurant. It is cooked well. The people are attentive and friendly. If you want to drink raki, you are in the right place...

Everything about the restaurant is amazing. We were 7 people and ordered cold mezze and mixed grill platter. The lamb and chicken taste from another world.

Sometimes you have those Turkish places that have Turkishish fast food. This is not that. Proper restaurant with quality dishes. I could do with more vegetable based dishes. But that's probably just me. (Turkey has wonderful dishes that are not mostly meat) The meat and fish (And the Aubergine/egg plant) were very well prepared.

My girlfriend and I had business to attend to in Cockfosters and walked down the High Road and came across this delightful, classy, beautiful restaurant. On going in, we were greeted by a very helpful and pleasant waitress who took the time to explain the menu and we ordered Baked Aubergines with a gin and tonic drink and Grilled Chicken Wings with Grilled Vegetables, both dishes were tastfully presented, beautifully laid out and the food was simply delicious, plus the Sorbet Dessert the Raspberry one was simply wonderful and tasty. It was a real pleasure to sit there and eat this lovely food and the customer service was simply excellent and the manager and waitress could not do enough for us bearing in mind I have allergies to milk and egg. We will definitely go and eat and frequent this restaurant again. The upholstery and mosaics on the wall were simply breathtaking and gave a real touch of class and history to the place. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone who has a taste and penchant for comfortable surroundings, tasty food, excellent customer service and a lovely and beautifully decorated restaurant. Very nice space, great service, tasty food but very small and pricey portions. Mixed shish is just 3 pieces of chicken and 3 pieces of lamb (6 pieces of meat in total) and costs £25 including the service charge. You need a minimum of £40 per person. You can find many better options further down the road.

The restaurant had a very ambient atmosphere and the interior decor was pleasing to the eye. The staff were fantastic, very friendly and very helpful (would make suitable menu recommendations). The food was delicious and served on time. We had the lamb chops, which was perfectly cooked (aromatic and tender). Starter menu was also delicious: prawns were flavoursome and the sausage was perfectly spiced. Overall, a very good dining experience.

Went on a Saturday night. Service and food was lovely and very accommodating even with our young children.

Overall my restaurant experience at Deraliye was incredible. The food was amazing especially the kebabs and the appetisers. At the end of the meal the apple tea was especially delicious. We finished our meal with a dessert that was a 10/10. This restaurant not only had excellent food, but the service was also very good. The waiters were super friendly and welcoming and the food came quickly. Our main waiter was Zeydan who was extremely nice and made our time in the restaurant very good. An amazing experience! Thank you!

Lol...friend and I laugh often about this place as being the most outrageous place of anywhere we have ever been. And we have been all over the UK ..we had 2 coffees and a piece of stale cake . Cost me £22....

Beautiful restaurant. We come here for all our special occasions. The £100 platter may seem deer but it is easily enough for at least 6 or more people with around 40 bits of meat along with the cous cous and rice etc

A quick dinner turned into a lovely surprise. We sat down at this Turkish restaurant, expecting standard quality food. To our big surprise the food was above the average for this kind of venue. The interior is grand and wonderful, something that doesn’t always translate to great tasting food. Not at Deraliye. The food was superb. Adana kebab, lamb shish, calamari, hummus and all the rest of our food was very delicious. I have 2 suggestions to the management, though. Less potatoes in the octopus salad and add Künefe to the dessert menu. I was very happy with this gem of a Turkish restaurant. Noted down in my “to be repeated” list. Obviously, highly recommended.
