Mama's Pita in Enfield

I called the very last minute to order ( 5 minutes before closing time) Not only the lady on the phone was happy to take the order, but also our order came within 5 minutes with an amazing quality and massive portion. Thank you! I will definitely order again soon

Lovely food, really enjoyed it (souvlaki) loads of flavors and good qaulity ingredients. However I did think the amount you got was good for maybe lunch but wasn't enough for dinner (may just be me) but was really enjoyable.

Excellent food, fresh, well cooked, place impecable and friendly staff. My 12 y/o son loved it and said that he will be recommending the place to everybody 🙏

The best Greek Suvlaki in London

Finally a grill chef that knows how to grill pork souvlaki and maintain it juicy without burning it. Very friendly staff,great food and superb home made portokalopita for desert. This place should have been a restaurant not only take away and delivery. Reminds definitely the flavours of Greece that landed in Enfield.

Worst chicken souvlaki wrap I’ve had. Chicken was hard and only 4 pieces in the whole wrap. It was also cold!! Daylight robbery.

BEST customer service! My friend spilled ketchup on my white top and they even washed it with soap for me so the ketchup wouldn’t stain! And the food was great! Couldn’t ask for more.

Awesome Greek food, great quality and very fast service! The best Greek souvlaki & chips I have tried in London so far. They have vegan options, too, a cauliflower souvlaki which was very tasty.

So according to tripadvisor I heard that Mama’s Pita, a Greek mediterranean fast food restaurant is the best quick foods establishment in Enfield, so I decide to visit and see what makes this place great. As you walk in Mama’s Pita, i found that the tropical designs such as the plants and choice of colours helps create a Greek mediterranean atmosphere and was eye catching I wasn’t too sure what pita wrap meal to order so i ask the staff member what were the most poplar meals in which he offer me a great selection such as the vegetarian cauliflower & halloumi pita or the Yeeros pork pita. In the end, I order the chicken souvlaki pita which had mayo, tomatoes, chips and salad mix which came to £7.50 which I feel is reasonable. I was surprised that it came with a plate and the staff member delivered it to my table. Talk about extra courtesy. The salad mix and mayo pairs well with the chicken and I really like how soft and crispy the chips were that It surprise me. My favourite was the pita wrap itself which felt soft and was big enough to hold the other ingredients. From what I observed their food hygiene is very good according to their certificate and the kitchen looked clean with COSSH standards taken place such as no cleaning products near food preparation. My only downside is the seating is very limited to about 3 - 5 customers so if do go there in a group you may need to eat outside. Probably best for takeaway. Overall im satisfied with this hidden enfield Mediterranean fast food gem and would visit again to try out their other pita wraps.

Great speed not too pricey Greek Fanta tasted like childhood fanta

Made an order and paid for delivery. Food cold and missing half order (even though I live 3m drive away. Told they had no delivery drivers to replace missing items and when I asked for refund was told I was being greedy and not to bother calling again. Called me back after 5m to blame the delivery driver. Obviously won’t be ordering from here again.

Sorry but was very disappointed. The staff were nice and friendly but that's was about it. Bland chicken skewers and lifeless limp salad, the chips were decent. I have had much better Greek food elsewhere.

Had food delivered to our hotel.it was delivered quickly.when I opened the wrapper of my slovaki the aromas of Greece came pouring out the wrap was very good flavours excellent.good value for money . I so wish there was one in my area .

I am so excited having my take away today from Mama's as I ordered chicken souvlaki pita wrap and was tasty and fresh cooked, the potatoes/chips were fresh as always, Love Mama's serving the top quality food with fresh ingredients

I am so disappointed with the take away orderd today. The potatoes were so hard and cooked form very long time, completely cold. Chicken souvlaki tasted awful, there was so little chicken inside but filled with very dry ,old and sour vegetables, the taste of unfresh ingredients absolutely disgusting.

Well done the best gyros in enfield but a bit overpriced

This is the first time we have visit since it has opened and wow! The freshness, quality and value was amazing and will definitely be visiting again. We both had the Yeeros pork box and we would definitely recommend. Also a shout out to the staff who were so lovely and welcoming.

If you want phenomenal authentic Greek gyros (kebab for the uncouth among you) then this is the best place to go. Great variety and the portokalopita (orange cake) is out of this world. Very friendly staff too.

Delicious food and meatless option for vegan Greek food lovers. Absolutely love their vegetarian and vegan souvlaki wraps. The only downside of this place is the fact that they don't have tables, so you can only order for take away. Besides that, food is great and friendly staff.

I ordered on deliveroo, and the food came hot and was so delicious. The pork Yeeros was so tasty and not greasy at all. The potato chips were tasty and they also listened to my my order adjustments. Oh and i I usually dont like Tzatziki, but i found theirs to be very nice. I recommend Mama's Pita for sure!

Not great. Called and ordered, collected, got home, not what I asked for. It was quite nice, but not what I asked for, which would have also have been more money for the restaurant, so we've both lost out.. I'd suggest to put somebody on the phone that's familiar with Greek cuisine.. 🙄

I was dropping my brother for day surgery at Chase Farm Hospital and being lunchtime my stomach was in need of food. Thankfully Google provided me with local restaurants and this was highly recommended. Let me tell you, it didn't disappoint, I will definitely go back if I'm ever in the area again. Saved our Easter day with some delicious food. All super fresh and tasty!!

Customer service is excellent.

First experience and had good reviews from friends but to be honest really disppointed. First the good - the delivery was pretty quick. The food was tasty in the most part and the salad we ordered was nice. The not so good was that the order was wrong, where we ordered no tomatoes thats all we had in one of the souvlakis. Also, the pork in the yeeros had gristle and the chips in all were few and far between and luke warm. Even if the order had been correct and the food all good it's still quite overpriced in our opinion plus extra for delivery. You don't get anywhere near as much food for your money as other similar restaurants. Seeing other reviews maybe we were unlucky but a lesson learned for us to stick to other restaurants. UPDATE - not sure we mentioned it was 'all our friends' - notice no response to any of the negatives - definitely wont be back.

This place used to be fresh, it's got slack recently, and i guess on hygiene too as me and my children got very sick eating here, vomiting and runs. The owner found this funny apparently!

We stopped here at random to get some lunch. The food was outstanding (lamb pita, chicken pita, corn on the cob, haloumi fries, orange cake). The service was also great - friendly, efficient, quick. The Cretan honey on sale is also outstanding. I will now detour for lunches at this place. Thanks...

Authentic Greek food! Being Greek myself, this is definitely top of the list for me! Always get a Pork Yiro in pita, sometimes in a box meal. Would definitely recommend!

We love Mamas pitta and not just because we are Greek. Food is always fresh, a good portion size and so tasty. Always a safe bet to pick up a few pork yerros when were feeling hungry. A popular choose for our family’s too. Staff are friendly and prices are 50p cheaper then we’ve seen yerros being sold elsewhere. Only downsize would be its hard to get through via phone at popular times. I like that they have asked for only 1 customer in the shop at a time due to COVID and that there putting money straight into a bucket rather then handling it themselves.

Not sure why it's taken so long to leave a review for this place. I'm a guy that loves his food so imagine my surprise the first time I was presented to Mama's Pita's yeero, having never seen or heard of them. "They're unbelievable" my friend told me.... It just looked like a kind of kebab with potatoes.... How wrong I was! It was so good I now eat here weekly and have introduced countless friends and colleagues to the place. Another highlight is the gigante beans. What can I say. How to take the humble butter bean (?) and turn it into culinary ecstasy.... :) The owners are lovely, and super welcoming and friendly. The food is sublime. What more can I say? HIGHLY RECOMMENDED If you never eat here you are missing out, big time!

I thought they'd have a wider variety of choice on their menu. Was quite disappointed by the variety...well lack of it
