Going Greek Winchmore Hill in Enfield

Made an order and they couldn’t even take my order correctly the food was so bland and chicken was not even cooked well honestly dry. They had put all the vegetables inside without asking if I had wanted it SEPARATE just made the pitta soggy and the chicken was not cooked won’t be ordering hear again as this food is going down hill

Today I had the pleasure of enjoying some fine authentic Greek food at this restaurant. To start of with while entering the restaurant I was greeted with a smile from the young man behind the counter. I then proceeded to place my order which was a quick and easy process to which I was told it will be ready in 5 minutes and to please have a seat. During my whole visit I felt respected by the staff and all in all it was an excellent environment to be in. When my food was ready I was called up by name and was told to enjoy and have a good day. The staff are not only polite but professional and efficient. The food was 10/10 and I will be definitely returning.

The best souvlaki in town- I’m Greek and I can say that it’s also the most authentic Greek souvlaki in North London. Very good food and the service is always friendly…

My friend and I popped in there Easter weekend. Cosy restaurant, clean and the service is great. Loved the food hummus, pita, chicken suvlaki and naked chicken suvlaki but Greek coffee is not made properly. Don’t really like the metal plates and glasses. Will come back!

Food was excellent for a decent price but incredible quality and portion size. The atmosphere was also wonderful with enjoyable music playing in the background. At the beginning of my experience the waiter was a bit quite but welcoming. Overall it was a great place to have lunch with friends and family I suggest for you too come as well.

Love love love! We sat outside and had an alfresco lunch in the sun today and it was wonderful! We had a selection of starters which were so tasty and then shared a couple of mains. The portions are excellent and you really get your moneys worth! We shared a lovely baklava then danced all the way home! Perfection

Quick, decent sized dishes and good option if you also have kids. Indoor and outdoor seating, and good for groups. I would come back for the tomato spiced bulgur wheat. The roasted vegetarian option was solid.

They told 20 minutes to prepare the food and i went 10 minutes late,and they told that they threw it in the bin

The young girl who served us was very lovely, pleasant and helpful. Upon drawing the staff's attention to the following items, as a gesture we did not pay for the 3 starters. However 1. We were told this is not at a restaurant, so do NOT dine in!! 2. We sat downstairs. It was very cold there was no heating at all. 3. We were just enjoying our starters and the mains arrived, so didn't get a chance to enjoy our starters. 4. As it was so cold the food got cold very quickly. 5. The food was tasty but over salted. 6. The metal drinks vessels were unpleasant , I would suggest replace with glass. The menu is very limited more a takeaway/ fast food menu. No chance to slightly change any item.

As a greek visitor to the city , i was searching for something familiar to my tradition. And i found this place. Everything from the taste, the service, the smell to the atmosphere looked exactly as my homeland. Had a lot of good time with my friends, the food was well cooked and yummy!! Amazing place!!! I go there every time I want to eat souvlaki. The best Greek food in London. The service is perfect. Theo is very happy and kind every time. I go there often and I'm sure once you eat at this restaurant you won't stop going either

Super meal and great service tonight in Going Greek Winchmore Hill N21 for our football team Christmas meal. Voted by all the players as the best gyros in the area !!! Superb deserts too!!!

Ordered the lamb gyros. Currently not feeling well at all after eating it, it’s currently 3am and I’m throwing up. I wouldn’t dear touch it again😭

First time of coming to Going Greek tonight and we were really impressed by the food. It was all fresh, warm and seasoned well. The cleanliness of the place was great and service was with a smile and quick.

Very authentic excellent quality food freshly prepared and really tasty especially liked the tahini, chicken and sheftalia kebab and loaded chips! The drinks are served in traditional metal cups and the Greek wine was good. The kebabs were full of delicious fresh salad well done 👍

I ordered my chicken kebab on Uber Eats, the chicken was still heavily pink inside each piece. I know this does not neccassarily mean its uncooked but its certainly the wrong look and cause for concern. Ended up throwing it away. Won't be ordering from here again.

We use going greek very often as it’s a family favorite for take away. We always order the same thing and ticks the boxes for what we need. I have on some occasions dined in with friends and family and has not disappointed.

Had an issue with just eat not delivering but the manager sorted me out and the food was worth the wait.

During the month of July had on separate occasions 2 chicken kebab takeaways. On the first takeaway Bulgur Wheat was ordered as a starter. This was a completely different dish to what one has been accustomed to at home and restaurants for numerous years. It was dry - totally lacking any moist wheat and you thought you were actually eating cous cous. This certainly has a different take from the traditional dish. Keftedes (meatballs) were also ordered which were good but were pricey for the number and size of meatballs you got. The chicken kebabs were of high-quality ranging from the chicken, salad all encased in a large Cypriot pitta bread. These were served with skinned fries, again a quality product – all packaged in very distinctive wrappings as I mentioned in my original review. The chicken kebabs were flavoursome along with the skinned fries, my only criticism and this is my opinion, I found both the separate chicken kebab takeaways to be over seasoned with salt, which to me spoilt the actual takeaways. The fries were ok salt wise. With the odd bulgur wheat dish and over seasoned chicken kebabs I am giving a 4-star rating!!

Amazing to see how rude the staffs are we order chicken Gyros I asked them for the chips they said we only give few chips in the gyros so I ended up ordering chip but when we open the gyros all we see was chips so I believe I should call it chips gyros not even chicken sad

Worst food I've eaten in a long time. Still annoyed I had to pay for food not fit for an animal. The kebab was burnt and not fresh despite it being lunchtime. I wasn't even given a bill. I was only given the price for the food which was very high for the awful lunch I had. The guy who served us was plain rude. To the owner: look at the other reviews. Sort out your food before you have no customers left. The chips were good but I struggled to eat the lamb doner. We took it away and threw it in the bin. Wish I could get a refund and go to McDonalds

Two huge hairs found in two of the three dishes ordered for takeaway, shame as food is tasty but the hairs were not good

I am so dissatisfied with going green after being a valued customer spending lots of money ordering regularly. They know I have the same meal every time I order but tonight I opened the naked box to find chips instead of Bulgar wheat ! I don’t eat chips so I phoned they said it’s whet I ordered. I just thought for £3 plus of the cost of a box of bulger wheat and in view of the money I spend with them they could have at least offered to send over a box of Bulgar wheat. I felt it was very mean of them. I had to throw the food away it arrived with chips thrown over salad and chicken like a dogs dinner not ur usual good presentation I won’t be ordering again for now at least You need to look after your regular customers because it’s people like me that keeps your business going Very disappointed with you

It was okay not a place I would visit regularly maybe just a on off to dine in. Food was okay chips ordered was cold and soggy. Better for delivery or take away.

Shocking service! Whenever we order a delivery the wrong food is supplied!! So frustrating, wouldn’t mind once but this is now multiple times!

Supper friendly staff with amazing costumer service, definitely put up with my dramatic attitude. Gave me 5 buckets of sugar when I mentioned I might need a little more. Supper funny and upbeat people with yummy food and great music 🥰

The pork kebab meat is average. You could find more tasteful meat that doesn’t need 10g of salt and a whole load of gg sauce to make it taste like anything. Not a stab to the company, just for those of you who want a good Greek kebab

Ordered for takeaway, really great food and reasonable prices

I booked a table for the family for outside. On arrival the waiter was quite rude and refused to open the umbrella outside as the sun was directly hitting us and was rather uncomfortable, especially having 2 kids and a baby. He wasn't bothered whether we stayed or not. Because of his attitude we ended up in Buckle and Vaughan where we sat outside in the shade.

Love the gyros wrap ! The place itself is very aware of allergies or intolerances and when mentioned to them they know what you can and can’t have and give you options lovely place to eat !

Souvlaki (apparently now) is ONE skewer of meat. I found this out when I complained. What skewer did they use, a toothpick? Four bits of meat were covered in a cold sauce and the tiny wrap was filled out with some chips. Never again. You serve fake souvlaki like this to a Greek only once.

The best Gyros I can find, very good quality ingredients and I highly recommend a visit!

Most authentic Cypriot food I’ve had! Very good portion sizes, good value for money and staff were lovely! Deffo recommend for a date night or a meet up with friends! Loved the pitta as well!!

If you are going to eat in it is actually nice and the food is good ( a bit overpriced) wouldn't recommend for a takeout or delivery unless you live very close by it otherwise it will be a bit cold thus ruining the flavour of the food.

Really great food, tasty, well cooked and filling. We paid £25 for humus with pitta , 1 chicken gyros, 1 hummus with pitta and 2 soft drinks, given the portion size I would say its worth the money!
