The last time we went they served us 5 small pieces of steak and called it Bitoque. That's not how bitoque is served. Not like the old days, with Maria managing. The owner is incompetent and rude. We paid £15 to go there on a Sunday at 6pm and the website said they closed at 9pm. Staff is nice but management is awful. Clearly management is not portuguese.

I have ordered espresso, took two sips and stand up to look at the goods on the shelf next to me, when I turned around my coffee was gone. All my stuff was still at the table, my bag, gloves, phone, magazine. Without even asking me they took my cup… shocking. I love coffee, especially espresso and it is usually two/ three sips in quantity. I was so disappointed, I won’t visit this place again. They have ruined my enjoyment.

The customer service here is awful and the standard of the food has dropped considerably. It used to be a nice spot for lunch but not anymore. Avoid at all costs.!

This is potentially a cosy local meeting place with good food and is reasonably priced. However we have given up meeting there in the afternoons because of the uncertainty of the closing times. It seems the staff decide to begin noisily stacking chairs and tables when the customer numbers dwindle and it is made clear that they want you out as soon as possible. This has happened as early as 1530 not long after we had settled down for a catch up. In the past the cafe stayed open until the evening but things have changed. This is a good place for morning coffee or lunch but check you have time to drink and relax in the afternoon before you order!

The majority of clients at this café/deli appear to be from the Portuguese community. We tried this place a few times some years ago, but never felt very comfortable here as the service we experienced was really surly and our custom did not seem welcome. Times change and we thought we should give this little place another try to see if there was any change. There wasn't! Indeed the staff were, if possible, even more unpleasant. We fancied a coffee and a pastry. but when we asked to check the ingredients of their fare (as my wife has food allergies) we were told rudely, and in no uncertain terms that they had no idea what was in their pastries as 'they are not made here.' When we had the audacity to suggest that the staff could perhaps check the packaging to see the ingredients, we were treated in what I can only describe as a hostile manner. It was not even as if the place was busy at the time. We decided to vote with our feet and not even stay for a coffee. Our custom was clearly not required. Perhaps Palma only welcomes Portuguese customers. We shall not venture into the place again.

The steaks are cooked medium rare and are served with sauté potatoes (or chips) and salad(or vegetables). The steak I have is covered in a creamy mushroom sauce but pepper sauce and other sauces are available. Every time the food is spot on.

This family-friendly deli is the ideal place to visit when you want an amazing meal. The food is well sourced, cooked and delivered to your table with the traditional Lusitanian flavours. Also there is an amazing selection of Portuguese, Italian and Spanish produce. The wine and spirits selection does justice to what Portuguese wines can offer. Recommended 100%

Exactly how we like it... great food in a small family-run business, bistro flair with a small shop section in the back where you can buy the delicacies that are also used to make the meals. Wonderful to have you in the area!

Visited this deli on the recommendation from friends who stated it was a hidden little gem! Interior very basic deli looking which also doubles as a shop! Authentic Portuguese cooking which is delicious! The prices are extremely good and quality is outstanding! Ordered a rare sirloin steak and chips which was cooked to perfection and cost £11. Bock beer is on tap for £1.95 a pint or bottled beers are same price! For a cheap meal and beers at a very high quality I would recommend this establishment! Not quite a romantic venue but if you like a quality home cooked family run establishment then this is the place to eat in Eastcote! There are quite a few restaurants now in Eastcote but this one will be hard to beat for price and atmosphere! This is located at the top end of the high street near to the library which most people don't venture to unless visiting a certain shop/location!

We go as friends to this restaurant most Saturdays for coffee and sometimes have breakfast as well. If you like Portuguese coffee, then you will not be disappointed. It is also cheaper than the coffees in the other chain coffee shops in Eastcote. Most Friday lunchtimes we also have lunch - you can eat a proper large lunch, freshly cooked for under £8.00. I quite often go without dinner as I am still full from lunch. The staff are so very friendly and know us by name and could not be more helpful. Am happy to recommend this restaurant to anyone who asks.

This place is usually buzzing and there are times when it's difficult to find a table and the reason for this is the fresh and reasonably priced food. Portuguese nationals seem to love going so on a sunny day you can almost convince yourself that you are on holiday. There's something for most tastes and I am glad to have a local place like this. It also has products you can buy and take away.

We've visited this restaurant regularly over the years since its been open and love the food. The chicken peri peri and the grilled chorizo are particularly delicious. We've always found the owner and the staff to be friendly and polite. Due to its popularity, it does get busy at the weekends but that's obviously a sign of its success.

Let me reveal you a secret. I have been to this place lots and lots of times since it opened and at times once a week and I didn’t want to reveal its existence and keep it just for the greedy me. First of all I am very surprised that on TA this cafe is towards the bottom of the list of the places to eat in Eastcote and secondly that although it opened in 2010 only recently has been reviewed maybe a lot of people out there thought the same thing as I did!The fixed menu is supported by daily specials on the board. I have tried quite few dishes including Bachalau (Salt Cod) one of my favourites, which is delicious. The chicken piri piri puts Nando to shame and brings one back to one’s childhood when chicken had flavour! The prices are incredibly reasonable and one of the best bargains it has to be the chicken escalope with avocado and mozzarella in a panino which it is HUGE, in fact, I always struggle to finish it. The cherry on the cake is without doubt the Posta Mirandesa witch is a massive tender, succulent, packed with flavours sirloin steak with a very pleasant garlic/herby sauce witch comes with loads of chips or sautéed potatoes and veggie. I don’t usually eat steaks when I go out but this one takes you into another dimension, very possibly one of the best steaks ever eaten in London. Here we go I said it. The draught wine slightly sparkling vinho verde look alike is another winner at £ 10 for a litre and you cannot finish a meal without a pastel de nata (a kind of custard tart) and an excellent espresso. The staff is very friendly. They serve traditional Portuguese, Italian and Spanish dishes and they have also got a little deli where you can buy food from the countries mentioned above. Don’t expect to have a romantic lunch/dinner here, the place is very functional in terms of ambiance but if you are after very good food at reasonable prices look no further and is mostly packed at any time by locals and at week ends mainly by Portuguese people. So… my dear Barry S what is your problem? You have reviewed badly this place on two occasions within few months. I can only think that you must be very unlucky indeed!!!

We have had lunch many times at Palma Deli and have never been disappointed with the quality of the food and the service. It is a small restaurant and many a time we would have to wait for an available table but we were happy to do so as the meal we would have was worth waiting for. It is an unpretentious, convivial and clean place that values the custom of everyone and welcomes little children and babies!

I was taken here on the recommendation of a customer and was not disappointed. Whilst it isn't your normal business lunch venue, it is obviously a favourite with the locals in the area and we were lucky to find a table available just as we turned up.When rating restaurants and services in general, value for money is really important, as you don't expect a 5 course dinner in a fine restaurant for the price of a MacDonalds burger and this is where the Palma Delicatessen scores highly. Good quality food for significantly less than £10 per person including drinks and excellent customer service.Highly recommended.

I first found this little restaurant when it first opened in November 2010 and I am never disappointed whenever I go back. It has become very popular and is always busy lunch time. There is a delicatessen at the back of the eating area which seats about 40. This time we had chicken piri-piri with with very good crisp chips and perfect mixed vegetables. Half a chicken each with very generous portions of veg. More than we could eat so we took away two Portuguese custard tars for later. With lunch we each had a bottle of Portuguese Sagres beer which was very good.I often complain that the UK does not have many family restaurants which serve good home cooked food at prices which do not break the bank, but this is one. Although not English cuisine I defy any red blooded Brit not find a dish there that satisfies palate and purse. The staff are so welcoming and helpful it was like many of the good family restaurants that I go to in Portugal. They will a meal to take away if you require it.
