Dined at Chez Melissa and was thoroughly impressed with the food quality. Each dish was expertly prepared and tasted great. From the appetizers to the desserts, everything was simply delicious. Highly recommend for a memorable dining experience.

Fab place to go for dinner, great service and super tasty food. The kofta with rice was delicious. The owner was so attentive and friendly it's worth returning just for that. Will definitely return.

Absolute delightful experience with our wonderful waitress Reema and food sooo delicious. I only don’t recommend it so it doesn’t get busy! (But actually I do recommend it!!)

Small restaurant in Central Uxbridge with a few tables inside. Went there for dinner, and it was relatively empty on a Friday night. Tables are too close to each other and a bit small. The atmosphere wasn't that cosy. Service was friendly. Prices are okay for the area. The food was very good. I really liked the Mediterranean chicken and rise, which had very rich flavour. The Lebanese hummus dip was so delicious. We also ordered baklava for dessert, which was pretty good.

We visited Uxbridge last Friday and this was the first time eating here. We wanted good food with a vegetarian option for a friend. The food was totally delicious and the chicken was cooked perfectly and not dry. Reema served us and she was so happy and helpful, nothing was too difficult. We don't live locally but will certainly go out of our way to eat here again.

The food was amazing, the waitresses couldn’t have been more helpful and to top it off it was very well priced.

The service was good the food could have been better. It was how dirty the place was and on the way to the toilet I peeped in the kitchen and it was not good, floors are dirty the toilet has never been cleaned, the doors are black all around the handles on both doors. Cobwebs and lots of dust in the restaurant, floors are not clean throughout the restaurant. I now know why there is no food hygiene rating displayed. I will not be recommending and will not return.

Delicious food and suitable for families. I visited it last week and now I returned there. My friend and I enjoyed it with excellent food and service. The chef is a very cooking artist.

Cosy restaurant, very friendly staff and lovely food. Ordered lots of the menu including hot/cold starters and meat/vegetable grills to share for the table. Received lots of food which was all delicious. Restaurant was small and relatively quiet but still had a nice ambience and as mentioned, staff were very helpful.

I ordered the chicken tawook and when it arrived the chicken was raw, thankfully I cut the chicken in two before eating it otherwise I wouldn’t have noticed! As a “sorry” they gave me a free dessert which not only did I not order, but nor did I want. When the bill arrived I expected some sort of compensation but my dinner was still full priced, when I questioned it the lady said ‘but you ate it’, in which I replied ‘yes the second dish because you nearly gave me food positioning with the first dish’. She then claimed she couldn’t do anything as the manager wasn’t there, then later returned the bill with 20% discount! Really not good enough and terrible handling of the whole situation which could have ended with me being seriously ill! Very little sympathy!

Having enjoyed a take away, I decided to pop in, and what a delight it was. I like small interdependently owned family businesses like this, and this lived up to, and indeed exceeded my preferences, great food, nice front of hour team, with a friendly service, outdoors seeing on the shadier side of the street (ideal on hot sunny days for a cool snack and coffee) or sit in and dine - I have walked past a few times, don't make this mistake! Back today again... still fab!

We have often passed by this restaurant and eventually popped in for an early dinner. Extremely pleased we did, the service had been delightful, the food fabulous. Great value for money too. I believe the word is out that Chez Melissa serve fabolous dishes so be aware that the phone rings often (loudly) and delivery drivers are in and out constantly, which is brilliant for the business but selfishly distracts from the ambience of being there. Phone ringing and delivery drivers withstanding, we recommend Chez Melissa wholeheartedly

Popped in for a catch up with a friend. The choice is huge, the food yummy, not too pricey and all served with a smile. I finally decided on the lamb kofta and halloumi fries. I'd definitely recommend it!

Went here for dinner last week with some friends, place is cosy but atmosphere is nice. The service was very good and the food was excellent. Staff couldn’t do enough and were very attentive. The prices are very reasonable too, my friends and I highly recommend Chez Melissa, try it out.

Was in Uxbridge for an evening and after looking through various places, I came across this gem of a restaurant. Read through some of the reviews and decided to give it a try and wow the QUALITY of the food is top notch. Ordered spring rolls which had a heavenly taste to them, chicken tawouk with rice which was cooked to perfection with the chicken so soft and succulent and had a side of cheesy fries which were the best cheesy chips I've ever had. On top of all that, the two waitresses serving us were very warm and welcoming. 5 stars all round.

The food was lovely, even though it was mid afternoon on a Sunday with pretty rubbish weather. I had the lamb kofta burger which was excellent. My partner had the classic chicken burger, which was also very nice. They came with very nice fries plus I ordered a side of Lebanese rice. Everything was beautifully cooked and presented. We will definitely be back.

They say its charcoal grilled food but it is not. Also, very small portion not enough for 1 kid and poor quality ingredients. Never again.

No words did not receive kibbeh but was charged for it , chicken came raw , kebab hard and burnt salad is not fattoush first time ordered will definitely be last time . Disaster how dangerous it is to give raw chicken . I am very upset and disappointed.

The food is delicious and comes in good portions. Probably one of the best. But today we had a very bad experience in terms of service. The lady taking the orders was rude suddenly with us, while she was treating the other diners very well. And we are still wondering why would she do that with us specifically. While she was attending the other guests by herself, asking if anything is needed, we had to call her on our own for our needs. Hope there is no discrimination with others as we witnessed today. But for us, this would be our last lunch here.

We’ve booked a table at Melissa with the two hungry kids and got turned down as they had a bigger booking. We were only ten mins late Would have appreciated a phone call at least to cancel us. I would not go there again!!

Small, nice and cosy independent restaurant. Lots of choice on the menu, so something for everyone from kebabs, burgers and pasta. Falafel starters were delish and good sized main portions. A few niggles: my large glass of wine seemed more like a medium glass, lemonade was warm, mains were ready whilst we were still eating our starters.

Hosted a birthday meal at Chez Melissa and from my very first interaction with the team, I was confident my family and I would be looked after. More people turned up than I had expected and the host was more than accommodating and really helped my birthday run smoothly. The food was brilliant, I had plenty of takeaway which I enjoyed again the next day. Thank you to the team at Chez Melissa and I look forward to returning again!

My partner and I have just returned home to Devon after a 2 night stay in Uxbridge to visit the Ideal Home Exhibition at Olympia. We discovered Chez Melissa last night (Saturday) after returning from central London and walking up the High Street looking for restaurants. It was a great little find. The staff were really friendly and they accommodated us with a table for 2 without a booking. The food and service were excellent. Great quality food at a good price. The Chicken Towouk was very nice and my partner had the Grilled Lamb Kofta which was also good. The Baklava also gets a big thumbs-up. Would definitely recommend and revisit next time we stay in Uxbridge.

Stubbled upon this gem tonight…the food was so delicious. I had to pop my head into the kitchen to compliment the chef. We had the cheese filo and the BBQ chicken wings to start. Then the chicken and lamb main dishes, both were lovely. Service was good too, definitely recommend.

Went here because of their reviews and they didn’t disappoint. Food was nice and fresh and service was very personable. It was surprisingly good value too! The restaurant was very cold though even though the heating was on but we enjoyed overall.

Stopped in this lovely restaurant after taking my driving test. The ambience was welcoming with gentle lighting and fun decor. I order the Lamb Kofta and hummus. Great flavors and then you add the spicy sauce and it took it to another level. I hope to come back here and try another dish.

Lovely little place in Uxbridge- definitely a hidden gem! Have a been here a few times and the food is always delicious and reasonably priced. The last time I went was with some work colleagues- 8 of us in total which meant we took up half the place so make sure you book in advance. We all had a variety of food from burgers, Mac and cheese to the kebabs; everyone enjoyed what they had and I’m sure we’ll be back again. Only downside was that they didn’t have enough chocolate fondants so none of us got the dessert but hopefully next time we visit we will get to try it.

Good food quick serving and nice atmosphere

Came here for dinner with family, it was quite cramped inside and service was a bit slow. My auntie had the lamb kofta and said it just tasted like a burger with a little mint, a few of us had the chicken tawook which was nice but not much chicken. My sister in law had the seafood platter and was expecting it to be fresh prawns but it was all quite dry and seemed fried. Staff seemed friendly enough, although one I assumed friend, was stood in the corner on her phone most of the time we were there which was a bit awkward. It has the potential to be a cute little restaurant but would suggest as more of a lunch option.

Nice small restaurant with good ambient and nice food. Was recommended to try their signature burgers (chicken burgers), and they didn't disappoint. Very tasty and didn't feel too unhealthy. They charge a bit for the drinks though, be aware.
