We took our dinner on 9 October, 2024. Their food and service was fantastic. The waitress Rema was friendly and helpful. It was a small restaurant but the environment is great and comfortable. We will definitely come back again. We are from Hong Kong.

Here’s the updated review with the new information incorporated: Chez Melissa Restaurant Review: This was our first time trying Chez Melissa, but it definitely won’t be our last. We opted for takeout last night, and it was outstanding. We called to place our order for pickup in 40 minutes, and it was ready right on time when we arrived. Generous portions, great value, and absolutely fantastic flavors! We ordered the Falafel Salad and Chicken Tawouk. The salad was very large, fresh, and lightly dressed, with excellent falafel, hummus, and bread on the side. The Chicken Tawouk was incredible, and the rice—easily the best I’ve ever had! The seating area inside is small, but there’s outdoor seating available as well, making for a lovely atmosphere. Next time, we’ll definitely dine at the restaurant to fully enjoy the experience. If I could change my flight just to eat here again, I would. Seriously, phenomenal food!

From start to finish the dining experience was fantastic. The staff are really lovely, it's very fairly prices and the food is LUSH. Great for date night! Would absolutely recommend it as one of, if not the best restaurant in Uxbridge.

Have visited Chez Melissa a few times now and have had a great time. The food is great and the service is very good. Unfortunately on this occasion I was significantly disappointed as I was overcharged for drinks. To make matters worse I paid the bill without checking. It seemed a little high for two persons so I looked through the bill in detail and noticed that I had been overcharged so I questioned this and was flatly told they didn’t make a mistake. I was overcharged for drinks. My advice It’s a great place BUT be very careful when checking your bill!!!!!

Highly recommend this hidden gem in Uxbridge. If I could give atmosphere a 6, I would 🤙 The Lebanese rice was packed with flavour and they had fried crispy noodles through it. The chicken was cooked to perfection, juicy inside and the coating was definitely their signature mix. It didn't need anything else, well balanced with fresh salad. Also the vibe with heartfelt covers added another layer of appreciation for the experience. I'm sitting here, considering if I should have another meal 😂

The best Mediterranean rice I ever had in my life. The food is brilliant and so the service. The mix grill, rice, salad and everything is second to one. However, I feel the portions are too small for the price.

Only small place, but nice. Went for my 60th birthday. 10 of us kids too. Absolutely lovely service and food was amazing, chicken and meat so tender, loved it. if you like Mediterranean, you’ll love it. We all said we would go be back. Everyone needs too try. 5 * plus.

EDIT: ✍️ You did serve breakfast hence the reason I used past tense and the picture of your menu. A few years back in 2021 I left a negative review. I deleted it after a while and decided to give them a second chance. When I went for breakfast there was a customer in front of me that returned two eggs 🍳 at the time the waitress - who was Nepali with black hair in a bun - came with my breakfast and two lukewarm eggs and other items with a downcast 😞 facial expression. I ate my breakfast. On my left hand side the owner was sitting down and eating two eggs 🍳 that were meant to be served to me. Apart from being similar to the egg scene 🎬 from Brad Pitt’s Fury film, it’s been bugging me a lot. This incident happened in 2021. It’s now 2024. Where’s the customer service and hospitality.

Chez Melissa is a cozy, elegant spot with attentive staff and a creative menu. The highlight was the Bird on Pasta. Perfectly cooked pasta topped with tender. The dish was flavorful. Highly recommended.

First visit to this restaurant and it won't be my last . Serving a mix of medatrainian and Lebanese dishes you will be spoilt for choice. The food is excellent and so is the service. Wine and limited beer available plus soft drinks.

Small place but with good food and service. We needed a table for 5 people; outside it was wet because it had rained and inside there was no space to put a table for 5 people together. However, we didn't wait long and the waitress was friendly and attentive all the time. I tried the hummus with pita and the Mix Grilled platter. Everything was fresh and very tasty. The rice was good (the best Lebanese rice I've had so far) and the meat and chicken were well cooked. I would like to come back in the future and try something different.

Lovely evening. Service was excellent from the first greeting to the final farewell. A varied menu but not too many options. The food was well prepared, good quality and obviously readied freshly to order. The staff were friendly and intelligent, particularly our front of house server, Reema.

Has a lovely space for eating outdoors and watching the world go by. I ordered the burger, it was clearly freshly made but I found it too herby which put me off slightly. My sister got the wrong type of mayonnaise on her chicken burger. Would eat here again but probably get something else more authentic. Price was very reasonable.

Small restaurant in Central Uxbridge with a few tables inside. Went there for dinner, and it was relatively empty on a Friday night. Tables are too close to each other and a bit small. The atmosphere wasn't that cosy. Service was friendly. Prices are okay for the area. The food was very good. I really liked the Mediterranean chicken and rise, which had very rich flavour. The Lebanese hummus dip was so delicious. We also ordered baklava for dessert, which was pretty good.

We visited Uxbridge last Friday and this was the first time eating here. We wanted good food with a vegetarian option for a friend. The food was totally delicious and the chicken was cooked perfectly and not dry. Reema served us and she was so happy and helpful, nothing was too difficult. We don't live locally but will certainly go out of our way to eat here again.

The service was good the food could have been better. It was how dirty the place was and on the way to the toilet I peeped in the kitchen and it was not good, floors are dirty the toilet has never been cleaned, the doors are black all around the handles on both doors. Cobwebs and lots of dust in the restaurant, floors are not clean throughout the restaurant. I now know why there is no food hygiene rating displayed. I will not be recommending and will not return.

I ordered the chicken tawook and when it arrived the chicken was raw, thankfully I cut the chicken in two before eating it otherwise I wouldn’t have noticed! As a “sorry” they gave me a free dessert which not only did I not order, but nor did I want. When the bill arrived I expected some sort of compensation but my dinner was still full priced, when I questioned it the lady said ‘but you ate it’, in which I replied ‘yes the second dish because you nearly gave me food positioning with the first dish’. She then claimed she couldn’t do anything as the manager wasn’t there, then later returned the bill with 20% discount! Really not good enough and terrible handling of the whole situation which could have ended with me being seriously ill! Very little sympathy!

Having enjoyed a take away, I decided to pop in, and what a delight it was. I like small interdependently owned family businesses like this, and this lived up to, and indeed exceeded my preferences, great food, nice front of hour team, with a friendly service, outdoors seeing on the shadier side of the street (ideal on hot sunny days for a cool snack and coffee) or sit in and dine - I have walked past a few times, don't make this mistake! Back today again... still fab!

I don't usually leave feedback, but this one is the worst one. Food quality and test 0 out of millions. Don't make my mistake and waste your money here.

We have often passed by this restaurant and eventually popped in for an early dinner. Extremely pleased we did, the service had been delightful, the food fabulous. Great value for money too. I believe the word is out that Chez Melissa serve fabolous dishes so be aware that the phone rings often (loudly) and delivery drivers are in and out constantly, which is brilliant for the business but selfishly distracts from the ambience of being there. Phone ringing and delivery drivers withstanding, we recommend Chez Melissa wholeheartedly

Popped in for a catch up with a friend. The choice is huge, the food yummy, not too pricey and all served with a smile. I finally decided on the lamb kofta and halloumi fries. I'd definitely recommend it!

Went here for dinner last week with some friends, place is cosy but atmosphere is nice. The service was very good and the food was excellent. Staff couldn’t do enough and were very attentive. The prices are very reasonable too, my friends and I highly recommend Chez Melissa, try it out.

Was in Uxbridge for an evening and after looking through various places, I came across this gem of a restaurant. Read through some of the reviews and decided to give it a try and wow the QUALITY of the food is top notch. Ordered spring rolls which had a heavenly taste to them, chicken tawouk with rice which was cooked to perfection with the chicken so soft and succulent and had a side of cheesy fries which were the best cheesy chips I've ever had. On top of all that, the two waitresses serving us were very warm and welcoming. 5 stars all round.

The food was lovely, even though it was mid afternoon on a Sunday with pretty rubbish weather. I had the lamb kofta burger which was excellent. My partner had the classic chicken burger, which was also very nice. They came with very nice fries plus I ordered a side of Lebanese rice. Everything was beautifully cooked and presented. We will definitely be back.

They say its charcoal grilled food but it is not. Also, very small portion not enough for 1 kid and poor quality ingredients. Never again.

No words did not receive kibbeh but was charged for it , chicken came raw , kebab hard and burnt salad is not fattoush first time ordered will definitely be last time . Disaster how dangerous it is to give raw chicken . I am very upset and disappointed.

The food is delicious and comes in good portions. Probably one of the best. But today we had a very bad experience in terms of service. The lady taking the orders was rude suddenly with us, while she was treating the other diners very well. And we are still wondering why would she do that with us specifically. While she was attending the other guests by herself, asking if anything is needed, we had to call her on our own for our needs. Hope there is no discrimination with others as we witnessed today. But for us, this would be our last lunch here.
