I came here and the staff was very disrespectful as I entered the establishment. I suggest no one come here again the staff are not adequate at all neither is the service I recieved.

One of the best Lebanese restaurants in London.i had the vegetarian option and I loved it especially the falafel was amazing.The service was great and quick .Our waitress sina was so lovely and attentive thank you

Utterly appalling service from the rude woman at the counter. She could barely string a sentence together and spat out her words, yet her arrogance and sense that she was doing me a favour by serving me was astounding. She needs to learn some manners. The chicken shawarma looked dry and like it had been roasting for 10 days. Disgusting. I walked straight out. Better options available in the vicinity.

Went to this so called restaurant today 15/08/23. We ordered to wraps and chips from the lunchtime special menu. I cut into my wrap only to find that it was stone cold and oil running out of it. I complained and was told a load of nonsense that it is supposed to be cold. The so called chef came from the back of the shop and was shouting in his own language whilst staring at me. I refused to eat anything in this place . I refused to pay and left the restaurant. I advise people to avoid this place altogether.

Amazing food with great ambience! Patios seating option for warmer days. The falafel is amazing as well as everything else on the menu. Also excellent service, very attentive and prompt staff.

I had gone here with my daughter for dinner. Loved the quaint interiors with a homely atmosphere. We ordered Lahm Meshwe, which are Charcoal Grilled Skewers of tender Lamb Cubes, served with rice, salad or chips. And Kraydes Crevettes, which are Pan Fried Mediterranean Prawns with Garlic, Coriander and Chilli butter sauce. The meat was perfectly cooked , and tasted heavenly. The prawns were fresh and scrumptious. Our server was a very hospitable lady with a pleasant smile. In spite of it being a busy night and the restaurant full, she gave personal attention to each customer. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience. Looking forward to visit more often

Mandaloun restaurant is in Chelsea and is really good. Relatively small so beat to book. Food is tasty and menu varied. Recommended.

This is a fabulous Lebanese restaurant. It’s a family owned place and they strive to provide exceptional food. They do it! This dining experience was amazing. It was the kind of place that I could have ordered absolutely blindly and been happy. There are so many appealing things on the menu. I had the lamb tangine and it was excellent. A dish to be enjoyed slowly. Prices are very reasonable too. If you like Lebanese food definitely try this restaurant.

The food was amazing as always. However, Coke was not in my bag. I called the restaurant about this, and the lady I spoke to did not believed me at first. Then she told me that she would send the driver, but she never did. Just Eat help also contacted them but they accused me of lying. I was one of the regular customers, I won't order from Mandaloun ever again.

We went to Mandaloun on the basis of TripAdvisor reviews and had an excellent meal. I am no expert on Lebanese cooking, so I’ll simply say that the food was delicious, the portions were ample (we had to share a dessert because neither of us could eat any more) and the service was very attentive without being overbearing. As to that dessert - baklawa; it was very, very good. A most pleasant experience.

This is a small, simple restaurant which delivers a wide range of tasty and authentic Lebanese/middle eastern dishes. Given its location in the middle of chelsea, it makes an interesting change from the areas' more pretentious, and usually expensive, eateries. Hummous and flat breads are amongst the best I have tasted as are the grills which are simple but fresh and full of flavour. Lebanese music is played discretely in the background which adds to the relaxing ambience - indeed, it is easy to imagine oneself eating in Beirut. Set menus are the best value for money but these I believe are only available at lunchtime during the working week. All in all, worth a visit.

We've eaten here a few times when it's been quiet and thoroughly enjoy sharing a grand meze with a lovely bottle of lebanese wine, but last time we visited it was very busy and that's when you really notice how small the tables are and how close together they are. The table wasn't actually big enough for the various dishes, wine and water glasses and wine and water bottles. But the good was, as always, lovely.

With friends we have had many meals with lebanese wines there , and always it has been very tasty , the food is well flavoured and classic Lebanese , the room is not big and the atmosphere is always relaxe and friendly .The staff are very knowledgeable and the Lebanese wines are very good and well sourced. Tuvimos una agradable comida, el taboulli era fresca, el hummus estaba bien y la Ensalada libanesa también era agradable. Shish tawouk era sabrosa y bien preparada. Se dio en el clavo, pero digamos que no es Noura Maroush o Belgravia:) yo volvería para una sencilla comida baja clave libanesa, por qué no.

Comimos aquí la 2ª noche estábamos en la ciudad. Excelente comida y un gran servicio! Es un poco pequeño dentro y son bastante acogedor con sus vecinos. Sin embargo, la comida compensa el espacio. Es excelente! Sin duda, ven aquí! Lo recomiendo altamente.

Visité aquí para una comida ligera es muy clara y el chico que me atendió fue fantástico que estaba muy lleno. Pedí la envoltura especial y tenía un shawarma de pollo con patatas fritas para 5 libras. 90 me preguntó si podía comer y con titubeos estaba sentado la comida muy rápido y contento el paladar también ya estamos pensando en mi próxima visita.

Hemos venido aquí para cenar (después de ir al teatro Finborough local) bastante tarde en la noche alrededor de seis veces al año durante los últimos tres o cuatro años. La comida está recién preparada y confiable de buena calidad. Nunca hemos tenido una mala experiencia, el personal es amable y eficiente. Hemos probado la mayoría de los whiskies a lo largo de los años y que todos son buenos. Las sopas son excelentes. Los platos principales de carne y vegetarianos, ambos tienen una buena relación calidad-precio.

This is a casual, small professionally run place in Chelsea. We had a very nice dinner here and we'd go back. The food was very good, the service was professionally attentive and quite helpful. It's a great value.Our waiter helpfully explained the different sections of the menu and helped us order an appropriate meal.Several sauces and small appetizers appeared spontaneously on our table. A nice touch.We started with hummus. It was terrific - I suggest that every meal at this place begin with the hummus appetizer. When we commented on the hummus, the server confirmed that it's made fresh every day. It's creamy, with plenty of olive oil, and not overly garlicky or otherwise intrusively seasoned. Our couscous entrees arrived promptly and were fresh, nicely presented and attentively served. Very nice. Summary -- professionally run, well prepared dishes served attentively in a very clean establishment, and we'll return here. And it's a great value. A great find.

Very impressed with both the food and the service. I've been here twice in the last week. I highly recommend the hummus beiruti, chicken schwarma or the farouj meshwe. Portion sizes are good and they also provide handy take away boxes - ideal if you're staying in temp accommodation or the nearby hospital.

We went to have dinner in the evening, it was a weekday and the restaurant was very quiet. I ordered the chicken shawarma and my wife ordered the shish taouk as well as other side dishes. The chicken shawarma was in my opinion not fresh hence I did not eat it. To give credit to the management it was knocked off the bill. Otherwise it was a nice environment and a very good location.

I have to agree with Nicola E - the food is ok but the service poor. The waitress didn't bother to write the order and proceeded to deliver two dishes we didn't order and not deliver three we did. As we were last in for the lunch service the staff were far more interested in cleaning up, relaying tables and mopping the floor than serving us. As the service don't seem be bothered I shan't be returning. It seems sadly symptomatic of London restaurants high prices, ok food and poor service. Why do we put up with it?

We stopped of here for lunch before a visit to the cinema. Great selection of hot/cold mezes plus some Halloumi cheese were very satisfying. Service was good. Bread was delicious and more was offered at no extra charge. Sure the mains would be of the same high standard. Shame they were out of Lebanese beer.

Amo Londra perchè offre ogni genere di cucina e anche di ottima qualità. Mandaloun, è, insieme ad un altro non lontano, uno dei miei preferiti ristoranti libanesi a Londra. Locale carino, raccolto, personale gentilissimo e cucina libanese eccellente. Hummus buonissimo. Ci andavo per cena, e ora anche per pranzo, fanno degli specials. Prezzi convenienti per essere Londra. Consigliatissimo!

Interesting to read others' reviews and experiences of dining at Mandaloun. I can only sing praises to the quality of food at Mandaloun. The food is consistently fantastic and my partner and I always agree that if anything it keeps getting better. Again, this is one of those restaurants that improve their dishes through generous portions, excellent ingredients and gorgeous tastes. Over the years the service has been fairly consistent and I wouldn't necessarily rate them negatively or for their excellence. The service is good and coupled with lovely food, I would highly recommend this restaurant. I have been going for years and when we think of going out for lebanese, this is the first place that comes to mind.

Food was okay, but service wasn't particularly good. There were 2 tables for service and the man and woman working there seemed to pay more attention to the other table. Poor service, we asked for extra sauce that was given with the bread as there was 5 of us sharing one small saucer. The lady refused giving us an extra one. Little things like this which wouldn't have cost them much can change a customers outlook on the entire meal. We won't be coming here again. Small portions, stingy and not very friendly waiters (an older lady and a man with glasses)

I have only been in the area a week and one to go, covering a driving job for a friend. A colleague introduced me to the Mandaloun. Just quick lunches but very impressed with the quality of food. And to tell the truth I thought the staff were excellent. Really attentive and trying to fit everyone in where they want to be on these scotching days. Keep it up next week please.

Celebrating the fact that our son had sucessfully gone through a serious operation, we were walking back to our hotel and decided to have a meal with a difference. We were welcomed into the small restaurant by cheerful staff. I went for the national beer and a traditional bottle of wine. Starters were hummus and spinach stuffed pastry parcels. Main was lamb Bamieh (so so tasty) and chicken couscous (a bit bland).Our table was by the open window and we had a view of the flashy super cars as they paraded past.A non-rushed casual evening meal with pleasant engaging staff.Well worth a visit

Whilst the food is decent, the service is absolutely terrible with rude staff who are unhelpful and unpleasant.Snappy and aggressive responses to questions, refused to let one guest look at the bill when we were splitting it. Overall made for a very unpleasant experience.There are many other very good Lebanese restaurants in Chelsea and nearby in Knightsbridge which deserve your money much more than this restaurant does.

Sitting in the heart of a busy road in Chelsea, a road bursting with life, is this great Lebanese place.The food is amazingly great as always. Third time here and never disappointed. My favourite is the Charcoal grilled Lamb Cutlets (no. 50).It's a great ambiance for dates. Service cab be a tad slow on busy days so if you're really hungry you might get frustrated on such days. Apart from that food is affordable, staff are friendly and toilets are good. There's also a good bar with great selection of drinks.Great place.

The service was slow and abrupt, we got our drinks after the food arrived and we had to remind them several times. We told them initially we didn't have time as we had the cinema in 40 minutes but they didn't seem to care. A female waitress was particularly abrupt and rude slamming plates down and pushing them across the table. My husband and I had high hopes for this restaurant but it failed to deliver. For starters, my husband ordered lamb and houmous and I had baba ganoush. Lamb and houmous usually comes with fried or chargrilled lamb, but in this case came with what tasted like doner kebab. The baba ganoush tasted like something from the supermarket, with the aubergine barely registering. I am coeliac and specifically asked the waiter for my chicken kebab to be served without bread but he seemed uninterested. My meal came with bread actually touching the kebab (which is really bad for coeliacs as even a small amount of gluten can make them ill). The chicken itself was disappointing and tasted pan-fried rather than grilled. My husband's lamb kebab again tasted like doner. Our bill came to around £54 with two diet cokes which was excessive given the food on offer. The decor is fine and the atmosphere is not bad when busy, as it was when we visited, but we won't be going back.

I go to Mandaloun on Fulham Road regularly for their grilled chicken; "Farrouj Meshwe"; it is by far the best Farrouj Meshwe I have ever had anywhere in the world. The garlic sauce they serve with it is also the best one I have ever had. I have brought several people with me to Mandaloun and they have all fallen in love with same dish as well, one of my friends saying that "she could eat that dish every day for the rest of her life".. The service is always very polite and friendly and the foods is to die for (at least the Farrouj Meshwe), so definitely recommend this place.

We go quite often. The cold and hot meze are flavourful and the main dishes tasty and interesting. The muhallabieh dessert is excellent. The wait staff are great. Only small complaint (and they are not alone in this) its cold and draughty near the door in winter. They do a good home delivery service.

I really do like Lebanese food, I guess it will be my favorite cuisines, so I have things to compare with. It is one of the best Halloumi indeed. Rest of the food also delicious. Even if you don't like beer, try the lebanese one, they serve. very tasty.Guy, who runs the restaurant, is always there and happy and smiling to every single customer, no matter time of the day or day of the week. Service is amazing. Atmosphere is very cosy, as no tourists usually at this street, only locals.

Lebanese food is typical of the Eastern Med - kebabs of lamb or chicken with rice, fish and plentiful mezze. We tried a selection of the mezze and one main between us. The lamb/spicy tomato sauce with rice main was a little unexciting, but the mezze were very good - especially the sea bass fillet, the baba genoush, the spicy sausages and the salad.It is somewhere between an upmarket cafe and small restaurant in ambience, our waitress was friendly and helpful, and the bill, including service, a bottle of Lebanese beer and a pot of fresh mint tea, came to a reasonable £62 for two. For the area, that is good value!

I probably had one of the best kebabs in Chelsea at Mandaloun.The other food on the menu is nice too and the service is quick.My girlfriend's wine wasn't the best so make sure not to go for the cheapest option on the menu.I recommend it

Very average Lebanese restaurant, the waitress didn't know half the questions we asked such as: what brand of Lebanese wine they served? Do the stuffed vine leaves have meat or not. I would not visit again.

If you're really hungry and can't get a seat at one of the bustling Chelsea restaurants, or you simply love Lebanese, then go ahead. Service was good and it was a nice evening to sit outside on the sidewalk. The dishes (e.g. fatoush salad, falafel, etc.) was fine but I've had better at many places.

Went for dinner with a friend on Saturday night - we ordered a starter to share and we're halfway through it when the waiter appeared and told us the mains were ready and could he bring them. We said no as we were still eating the starter so he went off, then returned when there was one piece of calamari left on the starter plate and simply collected it without a word and dumped the mains on the table...which weren't even the ones we'd ordered! We complained and they were removed so we then sat and waited for ages before finally receiving our food, which was absolutely disgusting. Tuna so over cooked I thought it was ham at first. Finally the bill which was hefty and of course nothing taken off for the poor service. I would never ever go back, McDonalds would have been far better in every respect.

I'm very surprised that no one even mentioned anything to do with mice where my friends and I managed to see a couple of tiny ones when we went for a late bite, I have mentioned it to the waiter who replied: Yes miss we are aware of but they don't have any contact with food as they live under appliances. Shocking! But apparently another friend had the same issue a few months earlier. Let me tell you that, you will never see me there and also the toilets are disgusting. Are EHO in London really doing their jobs? That's the question I'd love to ask many of them.
