I used to love the atmosphere and food at Kurobuta but both were missing when I visited on Thursday. The service was terrible; dirty glasses brought to the table, asked to circle our own items on the menu because waitress had no idea what was being served, wrong dishes sent to us and items we didn’t receive still placed on the bill.The food has also massively gone down hill. Avoid crispy squid, it has absolutely no “crisp”, and the wagyu sliders Kurobuta is known for, were average at best.Staff unfortunately out of their depth and unprofessional which makes the 12.5% service charge unjustifiable.

Simple store with a wide variety of Japanese and Korean take-away food. Perfect prices and service. Since I went in the late afternoon, there weren't many options, so it's best to go at lunchtime. I recommend it!

Basic overpriced sushi. Would not recommend. Cherry on the cake more than an hour for delivery Edit ubereats delivery was awful but didn't mention the part about basic overpriced sushi. 4.0 rating on Google says it all

The food here is AMAZING! They do the basics sooo well. Staff was super friendly and the place is authentic and cute. Definitely coming back!

Bit of a trek up to the 3rd floor but worth it.

Highly recommend Yashin, it’s been exceptional every time. Every time we come there is a new special or flavour combination, which will keep you wanting to come back. The Omakase 8 is a safe bet in my opinion.

Great sushi place and service. I would highlight the Gyozas which, despite being so common, is hard to make them well and these were perfect. On the fish side, all cuts were very acceptable. I noticed they would rather not serve the usual if they don't have access to fresh fish, which I think is very smart. Dessert wise, the matcha chocolate one was stellar, perfectly done. Congratulations to the chefs.

Bad experience.I’ve been to many Wasabi locations before, and today, when I passed by this one, I picked up a box of sushi in the store and told the front desk for takeaway. I was wearing headphones, so I didn’t say anything else afterward. After paying and leaving, I noticed the price charged didn’t match the takeaway price. At first, I thought the items might have been misplaced, so I contacted the manager. The front desk claimed I said 'eat-in,' and the manager also insisted I said 'eat-in.' Her attitude was extremely poor, and because English is not my first language, they kept saying, 'I don’t understand what you’re saying.' I’ve been in the UK for a long time, and this is the first time someone has spoken to me like this. Also, why should the customer pay for this mishearing mistake from servers? It made me very angry, and in the end, I just took the sushi and left. For people want to come, please double-check the price when paying—if something seems off, don’t proceed with the payment. Is this some new way to make extra profit😊?

I am a fan of sushi rolls and this place did not disappoint. Great option if you are looking for a quick lunch.

Una amiga recomendó este restaurante y me alegro de que lo hiciera porque probablemente no es un lugar que nos hubiéramos encontrado. Comida previa al teatro antes de Moulin Rouge. Gran elección, ya que está a la vuelta de la esquina. Fuimos la primera mesa en llegar, pero pronto se llenó, lo que creó un gran ambiente. Teníamos ensalada de algas, pasteles de pescado y albóndigas para empezar. Todo muy sabroso. Los principales fueron el teriyaki de ternera y el plato de arroz frito con huevo de cerdo. Porciones muy generosas. Todo lavado con una bonita botella de rosa. Excelente relación calidad-precio para Londres. No es un lugar elegante, pero la comida lo compensa.

I frequent this nearby Itsu for lunch almost daily. The food, especially the sushi, is always fresh and delicious. The staff are polite, helpful, and efficient, enhancing the experience. The environment is ideal for a quick, healthy meal. Highly Of recommend.
