This was my first time ordering a from sushi manga. I ordered a variety of foods such as a ramen, sushi...etc I was pretty impressed if I'm honest with the service. I didn't have to wait long. It was nicely sealed and I was able to pay at the door too. The food was delicious but if I compare it to other Japanese foods and flavours that I have had, it lacked a little bit. I was not wowed by the flavours that can through although I presentation was at a high level. I definitely will order from them again and it is worth trying out if you are in the valley of decision. I will take a visit in the store to try and experience and compare service within the the branch. 4 Stars

I recently visited this restaurant and was thoroughly impressed by the experience. The ambiance was warm and inviting, with friendly and attentive staff. They were knowledgeable and passionate about the food, and the service was top-notch. The food was impeccably presented and delicious with a range of authentic Japanese dishes that left a lasting impression. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a true taste of Japan.

Food was not good for the price. Bland but overly spiced at the same time, minimal use of seafood and veg. A lot of cheap long grain rice, not sushi rice. Katsu was very basic- extremely small portion with too much rice and sauce. Can’t comment on service and atmosphere as it was a delivery.

Food was okay. But one of the employee who is in dark brown complexion (not doing racial discrimination, using it as a hint to identify) knows Tamil language was staring at me very badly even I'm with my husband. This guy is going o give bad name to this shop. I won't be choosing this place again.

BEST SUSHI EVER! I’ve been eating here since 2019 with my sister, and it will always be my favourite sushi place ever! The food is always fresh and tastes SO good, service is also quite quick and I just couldn’t recommend this place enough :)

Please, don't mind the negative reviews. I came here every weekend for a year back in 2018 and I still can't stop thinking about it after I moved back to Sweden, after all these years. Their Chicken Katsu Curry is to die for!!! And the staff so friendly and kind. This place is very close to my heart.

For some reason the sushi smelt like eggs and had white tiny worms wriggling around in it. My Ramen started to move on its own. I’ve been sick for a month now. Would not recommend

This is a disgrace to Japanese food and culture. The food came soggy and tasteless. The rice in the sushi was stale, The chicken katsu was burnt and rubbery and the curry spilt everywhere. I once entered the establishment and all the staff were quite rude and it seemed poorly managed. Like i said before the place is a disgrace and should be scrubbed of Whitton totally.

So i was walking home from the bus stop and i saw this little sushi place, as a man who likes the food i went in there. my fish was raw and the staff were laughing about my stutter. i took the rest home and gave it to my son and now he has become a vegan becuase of this food.

Wonderful restaurant that i would recommend to anyone its a hidden gem. The staff was wonderful and very accommodating. Food was made fresh and the chicken katsu curry was to die for. The sushi was the best ive ever eaten and presented wonderfully!! The prices are very well put and reasonable. 10/10 will be becoming a regular customer here for sure!

Ordered twice via Uber eats. They make good katsu curry and ramen but will not recommend sushi from here. Last time dragon roll sushi wasn’t that great and second time salmon avocado sushi was off. I called and spoke with Lin who couldn’t do much about it. No more sushi from sushi manga for us.

This place was my go to but unfortunately I will no order from them. I used to love their sushi’s and how great value for money they were. But now fully overpriced and the sushi’s are tasteless and rice is stale and last 2 orders came without soy sauce. It’s not worth it

Not needed in whitton highstreet

Whitton store- Regular customer since 2014. Those days not many customers and not many people know about this place. Thanks to the Covid lockdown business was getting busy massively and now one of the busiest takeaway shops in Whitton. They are getting more greedy despite making really good money for average Japanese meals. Last week, I ordered and collected king prawn fried rice for £6.80. Yesterday, I placed the order for same meal and they have increased the price by £2. Is it worth it to pay £8.80 for oily cheap rice with 3 or 4 prawns? Definitely not. Will not buy from this place again. p.s: Reply to the unprofessional and rude comment; Yes, I'm fully aware about that. I can understand 0.50p or £1 increase. You have increased the price by 30% within a week. ATTN: INVESTORS, IT'S REALLY GOOD TIME TO OPEN REAL JAPANESE RESTAURNAT/TAKE AWAY BUSINESS IN WHITTON.

Used to always come to this place but their standards have dropped lately. Ordered food ready to collect at 8pm when we arrived they said it would be another 20 minutes so waited only to find the food was cold. Called the restaurant they said nothing they can do about it. Won’t be coming back here again sadly as it seems to be a recurring matter that the food is of poor quality which is a shame

Please ignore any negative reviews. Loyal customer speaking here: delicious and healthy japanese food at a great price. I will post photos later because I'm so focused on eating, I don't take photos. Note to owner of sushi manga: I would not turn down a loyal customer discount. (hint hint)

The husband and I stumbled across this place and what a find ! Absoloutely delicious food and super cheap too ! We managed to eat so much because it was so cheap. The place was clean, the chefs were friendly (the waitress could've been more friendly..) but the food was impeccable. I've never had sushi like it. It's now officially my favourite sushi restaurant ! Thanks guys ! See you soon:)

Take away experience, please read the WHOLE review. Well, this is a tough one. Sushi is one of my favourites, so I got very excited finding out about this restaurant. Ordered through the UberEats, there was a strange (and previously mentioned) service fee, but I suppose that belongs to the UberEats, not Sushi Manga Whitton. Food. It arrived on time, room temperature. It was very obvious that the chef has put too much effort into making the sushi fast, rather than make it look appealing. Maki were disproportionate, slightly loose, salad looked a bit aged. Avocado maki had too much avocado in and it was just way too ripe. The food arrived without the chopsticks even though I ordered some, but this could be UberEats fault,as the restaurant receipt says "disposable items:no". Naturally that is enough for someone to be put off. HOWEVER(apart from avocado maki) the sushi was d DELICIOUS, definitely freshly made from good ingredients and I was overall satisfied with the taste. I would recommend this restaurant to someone, who likes good sushi but is not very fussed about it's appearance.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THEM. I made the mistake to order delivery from them. After several calls they managed to deliver 1 hour and 40 minutes after i placed my order. No apology offered. Food below average. Not sure who gave them good ratings.

Everytime I order for delivery the food is always amazing and arrives super hot. Have tried, tofu soba noodles, sushi boxes, gyoza, chicken katsu. Delicious and amazing portion size.

The worse katsu curry ive ever had and small portion there was 2 different type of chicken too, one of them was just so burnt and horrible katsu sauce was so thick and looked as if it had been there for days as there was so much fat/jelly around thesauce dont ordrr from here.

Me and my brother have always wondered about this little Japanese on Whitton high st. We had a take away from there and had a choice of dishes. Must admit we both were very impressed the food was well seasoned and fresh. None of that heat it up again rubbish!! Kodo to the chef keep it up my man!! We will definitely be going there again to try more dishes on the menu!! Peace G

Very good food at reasonable prices. I ordered in the shop on a Saturday night and the wait was 20 minutes which isn't bad from last experiences with other takeaways.

I had a tofu katsu and avocado sushi and it was the nicest take away I’ve had for a while and really cheap! I would definitely recommend. Great vegan options too!

Unacceptable portions. 4 prawns tempura 4 rubber like calamari 25 grams of beef. Not even a portion for a kid A rip off of £23 that left us hungry and with a bad taste . I dont usually do reviews but this is not acceptable

As an NHS worker coming home shattered and really not wanting to contemplate cooking, this is my first go to for delivery. Their food is fantastically tasty and plenty of it. Its also healthy and good value for money.

The quality of the chicken in the teriyaki has become very poor. We have been eating from sushi manga for a couple of years and have noticed that the quality of the chicken is now unpleasant to eat. We called to complain and we had no reply. We ordered the teriyaki last night, and again the quality of the meat was unpleasant. Such a shame because we used to enjoy the food from sushi manga.

We ordered from Sushi Manga for my family this evening through Deliveroo. We ordered a variety of their hot food, we had more than enough to feed the family and it tasted great, reminding me of other famous Japanese restaurants. The order arrived 20 minutes early, although it is currently icy outside. The food was hot on arrival and we finished it all. We would definitely order again.

Tried this for the first time the food was really reeally bad the salmon tastless the rice frozen if not over cooked all in all a very bad Sushi experince never again!!!

Absolutely disgusting. I have ordered from sushi Manga many time but my last 3 orders have been very disappointing. The tuna rolls were full of nerves and we were unable to swallow them. Salmon rolls were made of many small different bits of salmon instead of one piece and most of the platter was cucumber/avocado sushi. I will never order from them again.

order 06b44 uber eats....I have been a loyal customer of Sushi Manga for 2 years and I am disappointed. Today's order was Sushi ,miso soup and chicken katsu curry , it was the worst Sushi I've ever had, by a long, long way. Miso soup was like horrible fish soup not like before :( . And we paid delivery price plus extra L4,39 for something like ''service fee'' which you not see till end of payment.

I only ever get the Chicken katsu curry and veggie sushi rolls with veg sushi box. All very lovely but some days food is just not the same high standard. Curry sauce is really good but the smaller portion sizes are a bit annoying. On two occasions i had an annoying experience. The first was fish eggs all on the veggie sushi where we cant eat the fish and secondly i found a spider in my veg sushi. Spent almost £25 had to throw it all away could not apologise properly. Id like to see what they say when i turn up today with evidences of this. I would go back again but im not willing to have any more slip ups again. Step your game up guys!

Absolutely shocking. I ordered sushi and it turned up warm. Not room temperature but warm. I called to explain this and the first woman I spoke to kept telling me it should be room temperature. I tried to explain it wasn't room temperature but that it was warm to the touch. She then spoke to someone and she started telling me that is should be room temperature and not cold. I never said it should be cold I just asked if it should be warm. The second woman kept talking over me and kept talking over me and saying the same thing without listening. I finally lost my temper and raised my voice and she started playing the victim. I've ordered from here many times before online and in person and as I tried to tell her I've never been given WARM sushi before. She's apparently the Sushi chef and the manager but her behaviour was shocking. Keep the money, I don't trust you or your behaviour enough to provide a refund and I won't be returning this WARM sushi so you can serve it to some other customer. I would urge others to read the reviews, you'll see that rude behaviour and not admitting any wrongdoing is served as regularly as WARM sushi!

The best Japanese restaurant on Hounslow!

Amazing food and taste always fresh, has now become my favourite local Take away, their food has that oriental taste of home cooked food which is rare to come by, had only one incident when my order was late a while ago due to being busy but was very generous in compensating me for this even though I didnt ask for it! I hope their service remains the same and they get the recognition they deserve 😁 see you soon

The food here is poor, oily and overcooked. Duck sushi was dry and oily, salmon was flavourless. I actually feel sick after eating it. Overpriced for the low quality/taste. I was also called by the restaurant to pay an extra £1 for delivery even though this was not stated anywhere on the Just Eat website. If there is a delivery charge that should be going through the Just Eat website, no? I feel physically sick from this food so quite frankly, I would like a refund.

Small place with take in/take away and delivery. Nice sushi. Lots of different options to eat. We ask for the 36 pieces combo (£32) for 3 and it was impossible to finish it. Medium price. The toilet isn't very clean.

Sushi manga was too hot to eat inside

The food and service were above our expectations. We go for eat in today. First the Restaurant check the temperature before they let us to sit in. And they make the social distance for eat in and take away. I m really appreciated that they taking care of everyone safety. Second, foods are so delicious. My favourite are Debaski (Japanese Spicy Chicken Wings) and manga sushi platter. We surely enjoyed the atmosphere of this restaurant. Last, the staffs are so helpful to us. Highly recommend !!!

I have been a loyal customer of Sushi Manga for over 2 years and I am beyond disappointed. I have had over 30 orders, each time getting increasingly worse, and now I have had enough. Firstly, i order through Uber eats, which allows me to choose various options e.g no crispy onions. These options are completely disregarded. I can’t understand how you would allow these options if they will ultimately be ignored. Each time I order, these requests are brushed past. I kept ordering as I love the food and always put these issues down to just quick mistakes. But now the mistakes are too many to ignore. On my last order, I added in the comments if I could have my teriyaki sauce on the side instead of on top of the sushi. I received a phone call direct from the restaurant explaining that if I would like sauce on the side I would need to pay 50p. I agreed as it was such a small fee, and asked for it to be added to my order, and was met with the most disagreeable staff member who I believe to be the manager. I was told ‘unfortunately you would need to cancel the order and re order, however, the sauce is not available on Uber eats”. So I am expected to cancel an order I have already paid for, to put through the exact same order, even though what I would like is ‘unfortunately’ not on the menu. I offered to walk down and give them the 50p in person, and was told yet again to cancel the order and go through the same ordeal. This is the most simple request, and I feel silly even having to write this review, but I am beyond frustrated. I have loved this sushi for years, and am upset to end my relationship with them. For anyone wanting a good sushi restaurant, avoid sushi manga. You won’t get what you ordered and you will be met with rude and entitled kitchen staff. Have some respect for your loyal customers.

The delivery was quick and efficient. The food was less than average. They missed two things from the order, and when I phoned to tell them, they were convinced they had not made a mistake.

This is our favourite place to order from when we want Japanese. The food is always fresh, hot food is hot, cold food is cold, and it all tastes great.

Absolute ripoff, portions are very very small and very poorly packed. We called them and asked for additional wasabi which they promised and never included. Shame that I can’t upload image, would be worth to show that they mix “box” size is 13x9 cm. Avoid!

Sushi roll was cut into 4 pieces wich was way too big to have as one bite. Taste wise it's so-so, but no "punch", maybe rice was missing the vinegar. Price is too high for what you get. Would choose other places whenever possible.

After staying home for a month due to Covid -19 and eating cooked food everyday, finally decided to order well deserved take away from Sushimanga as I was craving dumplings.. Ordered Chicken Katsu curry, Spicy oyster squids, Duck Gyoza and prawn battered chilli which is suppose to be the most popular items as said on the menu online.. Total of £28To be honest the whole take away was a disappointment.. Disaster.. The Katsu curry was watery and so runny and it didn’t even take like the actual curry and the worst of all I found several hair in the prawn battered chilli while eating.. was so disgusted that I had to throw the entire food away.. Such a waste of money.. M going to upload pictures just to show that this is true and I feel i need my money back.. this was proper waste.. this was my first time ordering from here and the last..In the pictures it’s literally me holding the hair which is glued to this prawn... really bad..

Absolutely delicious. By far the best sushi I've had in my life. I love the fact this isn't a large corporation. The price is worth every penny. My favourites are the dragon rolls & Inarizushi. Amazing.

We've ordered twice from Sushi Manga. First time we ordered Yakisoba with the sushi and they put it all in the same bag so the sushi arrived lukewarm. The Yakisoba wasn't great and we binned the Sushi 'cos who wants Lukewarm Sushi. Today's order was just Sushi, it was the worst Sushi I've ever had, by a long, long way. Also, I've never complained about portion sizes in my life, but the Sashimi fillets were tiny, about a quarter of the size of normal Sashimi. It's a shame to have to leave a negative review for a local company but the food is genuinely terrible.

Do not be put off by the small caff like building. If you do eat in then they are very attentive and food is great and very fresh! They also do take away which is well packaged and very nice. The staff are friendly and very happy to advice on dishes.

Went for lunch with my two daughters. Small place not much ambience. Had two salmon boxes which were very small portions. Chicken Katsu was good but ordered egg fried rice with it which was expensive. Toilet was disgusting. The most filthy toilet I have ever seen! Shameful,

Lady on the phone sended me completely different order . I paid check it .. after I called the restaurant again and she said that my order was completely different.. which of course i know what i ordered. That was first and last time when i placed order to this place. No recommendation.... also tried food .. salmon without taste.. the worse sushi which I ever had .. also noodles tasted horrible.. I was so excited about sushi evening unfortunately everything end up in the bin .....

Really nice little cosy place. Have great sushi selection and noodle options. Their platters are slightly small for the prices so it's better to get individual sushi instead.

A firm favorite whenever in Whitton. The spicy duck ramen is excellent as well as the seaweed salad. A bottle of Japanese beer, chicken Katsu for the children and everyone is happy.

Smallest portion ever for the price, I’m literally talking about not even a small hand full of sliced meat on the beef teriyaki. They use the super cheap cuts but knowing how to cut it they can get away most times, unfortunately all I got was very hard meat, so bad I couldn’t even break it apart from my teeth pulling with my hand really hard. I do not recommend, not with the money at all

Cannot fault it. Great service. Lovely selection. Food can be happily recommended. Nice staff. Delivery service quick, hot and fresh. Go and try it. We definitely loved it all the way.

My partner and I are regulars here. Everytime the food is delicious whether we order in or go to the restaurant. The people are very friendly. If you do go to the restaurant, there isn't much seating room.
