Sticks'N'Sushi Greenwich in Greenwich

Fantastic experience and food, would highly recommend. Initially, I thought it was only sushi, which I am not as fond of. However, the selection varied and tasted pretty good. Price is a little on the high side, but the customer service more than made up for it.

I have no words to explain just how incredibly good the food from Sticks’n Sushi is. It’s not just food, it’s an experience, a work of art. Each dish brings a whole new blend of flavour. The ingredients are clearly of excellent quality as well. The overall atmosphere in the restaurant is very nice, and they are dog friendly as well, which is always a plus. Lastly, you can also order food to be delivered, which is just wonderful!

The reception was wonderful lunch and the treatment was very upscale.. The food was very excellent. It is a wonderful thing. We enjoyed a lot. Thank you to all the workers there, especially Mari many thanks to you 👏🏻👏🏻

I love Sticks n sushi Greenwich since I discovered it 5 years ago ! This place has an awesome vibe completed by the best food I ever eat, always fresh and the staff , Mariola , Florin , Antonio and all the rest are always sooo nice , polite , kindly and friendly no matter how busy they are. I definitely recommend it as I never been disappointed as a regular customer .

I ordered take away salmon and yellowtail sashimi, and salmon tuna sushi… cost me £40 Then I went a cost the street to a sushi takeaway shop… cost £10 Stick’n’Sushi of course is better… but it is worth £40… absolutely not… don’t think I will go back to both of these places

Food was nice, but service was not great. Waitress forgot to bring some of orders. Also, caviar was served on its own without any lotus crisps. We had to remind her we ordered more food. Also, sitting next to the doors made us really cold. It’s no glass or anything to cover the wind coming from the doors where people were coming in and out.

Too Expensive, yes it is nice presented but it is very overpriced. You can go to ROKA and pay the same

Nice intermate setting, food on point as always

We had the set menu ‘As Good as it Gets’. Food was delicious. The courses were well timed, well portioned, but we probably over estimated our appetite, and should have gone for a smaller set. Temaki setto was my favorite course, the wagyu tartare was so good. Would recommend and will try to come back to try the other menus.

Greenwich brunch is closest to me location and we visit regularly. The food is good every time, cocktails are nice too. Big bonus for us it’s dog friendly. I love grilled broccoli with sauce, miso soup and tempura mushrooms. Great kids menu, my daughter also wants to try sushi making master class

Fantastic service - excellent food and really nice atmosphere - will be back!

I ordered the Solo and excited to try the sushi display on fancy plate but came out with disappointed feeling on the rice they used. The middle heart of the rice is totally hard and not tender at all. You should improve the quality of the rice and you should try the real Japanese sushi. They never use rice arranged on last night, they use warm rice and made it on present. This price is not worthy to enjoy sushi here. 😩 Sushi of this quality may only be accepted by locals. Drinks are great. However the waiters service and the restaurant is clean. Its the only pros of the place.

Really great sushi, super friendly staff and warm and inviting atmosphere. We came here recently with our little 1 year old and they had a dedicated menu for kids and were so friendly and helpful with us. The sushi itself is fresh and delicious. Would highly recommend!

This is our favorite sticks n sushi branch. We always have great service and lovely ambience even on a Monday evening. We ordered the good as it gets platter and we're surprised with a lovely dessert for our anniversary.

Today was an absolutely dreadful experience. I arrived with plenty of time, only to be told I could have the table for just one hour—a statement that immediately made me feel unwelcome. It was insulting, as if my presence was an inconvenience. After my order was taken, I waited over half an hour, watching people who arrived much later than me being served their food first. When I finally complained, they promised my sushi would arrive in five minutes. Fifteen minutes later, still nothing. I repeatedly asked to pay for my drink so I could leave, as I was furious and running late for an evening event I had carefully planned. I didn’t have the luxury of extending my time. After much frustration, they finally let me pay, but by then my patience was gone. As I stormed out bitterly, having received no food, I walked past the open bar and saw, to my utter disbelief, that they were only halfway through preparing the sushi I had ordered 50 minutes ago. This was an absolute failure—either due to appalling management or severe understaffing on a busy Friday night. They completely ruined my evening! I cannot fathom how such incompetence is allowed to persist.

I absolutely love this restaurant. Specifically the one in Greenwich I go for every special occasion because the staff is absolutely amazing. Mari (host and waitress) have worked there for years and she always remembers us. The new Menu is INCREDIBLE!!!!!! I highly recommend this location over every other stick and sushi in the city! 10 golden stars

The service is good, and the place is nice, but if you actually like proper sushi, the food is terrible: the fish has no flavour and the rice is nothing special. Overpriced for what it is, and I’ve been here a few times.

Some of the best sushi we've had. The scallops from the hotate kotaifi course were incredible. We also really enjoyed the king fish sashimi. The kids enjoyed their food too and were welcomed with complimentary colouring and a drawing competition to win chocolate fish for the classmates! The wine was good, and the hosts were friendly. Highly recommended

Went there for our anniversary. Such a great experience. The waitress was so nice- our 9 month baby was entertained for the entire duration of our meal. The food was fantastic. The flavours were great and the presentation was excellent. Highly recommend for special occasions.

We have been there fews time as always for my special day for family. But this time we booked the table as 20 of us including fews children. So surprised they asking me to choose the group menu as I don’t want as starter or dessert even that my child don’t eat some of that in the group menu but they not very helpful. Very very not happy at all . Bye bye and never see them again.

I enjoyed a memorable evening at Sticks n Sushi for my partner's birthday. The food was impeccable, I couldn't fault it and the service was professional and very customer experience orientated. I now have this restaurant down on my personal list of favourites. We were quite close to another couple making it less private than we would have hoped and where we were sitting we could hear next doors door banging, but it wasn't an issue, just something to be aware of.

In the cold rainy weather of London, Guide me to the warmth of Japan. To the culture, I am so fond of, touching the soul just like Chopin. To the known sticks of Yakitori, To the rolls filled with pure umami. To the sweet of mochi glory, vibrant place of flavour tsunami. Just a table of Eastern tapas, to share with the ones I truly love. Where the service focuses on us, to make it the reason, visits thereof. Nothing here will be short of special, you will have a night to remember. So come with love, the one called special, and let the evening be an venture. Absolutely fell in love with Sticks'n'Sushi. Their Yakitori offering is amazing. The Sweet Potato, wow! takes your breath away. The Miso Black Cod or teriyaki Salmon is exquisite choice with well balanced flavour pallet. But I think the evening star, besides the stellar service!!! Was the Cauliflower with truffle and black sesame sauce. A wonderful dish. This is an amazing place to come with friends and share an experience :)

One of the best dining experiences I’ve had recently. This lovely Japanese restaurant in Greenwich town centre is perfect for both families and special occasions. We were warmly welcomed by the staff and the menu has plenty of options—tataki, sashimi, sushi, salads and grilled skewers. Every dish was fresh and delicious. I’ll definitely bring the family here next time.

Great lunch with the family here. We were quickly seated and served. Food and drinks came out quite quickly. Delicious meals, amazing service and great staff who are always doing their jobs with a great passion and attitude.

First time here. The experience started with me not being able to hear what the waitress was saying and being confused "how" to order. However, once the food came it made sense. About the food, it was sooo good. I knew it had to be good but I was pleasantly surprised. Only negative was the price point and that bill was astronomically high.

El plato es uno extraño: todo en él es pesci - amigable bar un artículo: un pincho de pollo. Recomendaría que el equipo de Sticks and Sushi revise esto y ofrezca una alternativa a base de vegetales o pescado. Y con esto quiero decir en el menú, no por petición especial. Dicho esto, soy flexible, así que probé el pincho, aunque probablemente fue mi parte menos favorita del plato (seguido del tataki de batido, porque no me gustaba el ponzu). Particularmente agradable fue la disposición del restaurante a hacer cócteles que no estaban en su menú. Ninguno de los enumerados me atrajo, así que me encantó observar que los cócteles “clásicos” estaban disponibles bajo petición. Pedí un daiquiri, que estaba perfectamente hecho y solo me costó £ 9 (la mayoría de las opciones de menú eran £ 12 +). El servicio era bueno – nada especial pero nada particularmente faltante. I opted for the ‘mixed emotions’ platter, then added a portion of scallop sashimi (hotate yaki) as I was craving this. The scallops were really delicious. The platter is an odd one: everything on it is pesci-friendly bar one item: a chicken skewer. I would recommend the team at Sticks and Sushi review this and offer a veggie or fish-based alternative instead. And by this I mean on the menu, not by special request. That said, I’m flexi so I did try skewer, though it was probably my least favourite part of the platter (followed by the shake tataki, bc I wasn’t keen on the ponzu). Particularly pleasing was the restaurant’s willingness to make cocktails not on their menu. None of those listed appealed to me, so I was delighted to note that ‘classic’ cocktails were available on request. I ordered a daiquiri, which was perfectly made and only cost me £9 (most of the menu options were £12+). Service was good – nothing special but nothing particularly lacking. One thing to note: the tables are very close together so there’s a bit of a feeling of being crammed in.

Everything apart from food is great. For the price you pay, the food isn't worth it if you are only going for good sushi. In all other aspects it's worth the money for an occasional visit. Their ceviche dishes are really good, but the rolls could be better in terms of taste and selection. It felt like most rolls just came with prawn tempura inside which overpowers every other taste in that roll so even if you get different rolls they'll taste exactly the same. It was not a bad experience but for the money, you can get much better sushi elsewhere sadly, hence why I'll not be visiting sticks and sushi again

Nice meal after visiting the Maritime Museum. Service rather 'sketchy', politely put, but the food was very fresh & tasty (we each had one of the salad bowls). Yuzu beer delicious too!

No estábamos interesados en estar sentados en la parte trasera del restaurante, que no tiene tanto ambiente como otras áreas. Pero estaba ocupado y no habíamos reservado. La comida sabía bien y el personal era agradable.

This was definitely the highlight of our London dining experience. We came more than once and will be back on our next visit to London.

Had a wonderful dinner here (as always). Service is always brilliant, food is lovely, good atmosphere. Special shout out to the staff especially Mariola who made my friends birthday extra special.

A little too modern for me, I'm not sure what I really expected but it wasn't this. It was all just 'blah', nothing special and I wouldn't waste my money going again. The staff were all very friendly but they did seem to chop and change without notice.

Food was great probably one of the best pieces of salmon I've had in a long time, beautiful restaurant bartender was very personable. I even showed him how to use chopsticks .lol

Not bad rolls, good service but there is a time limit. And if you don’t order anything else, then after 2 hours you will be asked to vacate your seat. Especially in the evening it is very noisy.

The waitresses we had were really nice and helpful.We had the 'Perfect Day for 2' which was a great portion size and unexpectedly filling. The fried chicken that came with this was also really good. The special tenderstem brocoli tempura was amazing light and crunchy,would definitely recommend!

Visited for an anniversary dinner. When I booked, the server wished us a happy anniversary which was lovely. The service was very attentive, always ensuring our water was topped up, describing the food from the set menu and checking in just the right amount throughout the meal. The Perfect Day set menu was delicious - definitely plenty of food for two! It was brought out at a steady pace and we were not rushed at all. To top it all off, when we'd ordered coffee at the end of our meal, they brought us out an ice cream on a stick - a lovely touch for our anniversary. We felt very looked after and left very full and happy. Thank you!

Last night was our first time in over a year and the food quality, taste and presentation has completely gone. We spoke with the manager who simply came up with excuses for the food , and did offer her apologies and offer additional dishes on the house. What they should have done was knock off the dish we complained about off the final bill of £160 for two people. I will start by saying, sushi and sashimi should not be served so ice cold it felt like it had had time to rest to chilling temp. The food appeared and tasted like it was pre made and served later, ie not fresh. Thou they will deny that, thou we have it on good authority that this branch does as the chefs aren’t qualified sushi chefs. The sashimi combo we order was truely aweful, the fish cut too think, ice cold and drowning in the sauce. Not worth the £45 price tag We ordered two portions of sticks, one lukewarm, the other cold. They did take them back and made some fresh, which we could tell. Overall, his branch has gone down in our books and won’t be returning.

I traveled solo and stayed in Greenwich for 3 months and cannot say more about this restaurant. The restaurant and staff are professional and the restaurant itself is extremely classy .. The food and the service were outstanding. It then became a go to restaurant during my stay. Firstly I don't think people realize what a wonderful place Greenwich is to stay when they travel London. It is so easy to get to every major attraction you want, yet you can come back and find a lovely neighborhood with so many great restaurants and pubs as well as museums and the Royal Greenwich Observatory which is a must. On one of your relaxing days you can stroll down Trafalgar street and hit the Maritime museum, Queens House and the Greenwich Market as well and walk along the Thames path to the Cutty Sark and the Uber Thames Clipper. Every mode of transportation is available in Greenwich-the river boats, buses, above ground rail and quick hop to the tube. I eat sushi alot and have tried many restaurants and this had the best selection I have ever had. I sat at the bar and asked the bartender and the staff for suggestions and they were spot on. Check out their other locations throughout London. You will not be disappointed

The food is incredible good. I ate edamame with sea salt and lemon and two sticks with salmon and teriyaki souce. The best experience of my life. I will come back there.

Incredible sushi—fresh, delicious, unusual combos. Great to go with a friend or two and dive into the shareable part of the menu. Atmosphere is delightful and fairly quiet so you can talk. Service was excellent. Restrooms need tending but overall an excellent experience.

The bartender with his shorts, Had fun with the other employees. However, to our disadvantage, we were disturbed while eating. Sushi was good but there is still room for improvement ↗️

There is nothing more to say than: if you weren't there, you missed something. We hadn't reserved a table and were lucky enough to get a seat at the bar. It was the best place we could have asked for. Next time, we want to sit here again and enjoy the delicious food on offer.

The food was delicious and the staff were friendly. The price is reasonable considering you get this much food and this much service in London. I ate the makimaki set for 2 people, and this amount was reasonably filling. A side of miso soup is recommended.

It has been my favourite restaurant for years now. Never disappointed me in any ways. Alway brilliant service, amazing food.

Love this place. Love the picture menu, I find it so helpful with sushi/Japanese food to give me an idea of what I am getting!

I came to this restaurant back in December 2020. I found it over busy and staff were overwhelmed. We sister quite some time to be served, once the food came it was nice but for me it was a bit overpriced for what it was. I would certainly say to anyone who likes sushi to give this place a go for the experience but there are plenty of other places that would be similar in quality and for less expensive prices but having said this all in all it was a nice dining experience.

Very disappointing, very unattentive staff and the event was ruined by the manager on shift who persisted and abruptly interrupted our experience which led to cold unattractive food, whilst the issues were raised no resolution was granted on-site or after.

Sticks n’Sushi never disappoints! I’ve been a few times to Greenwich and Canary Wharf restaurants. Love to discover new dishes and drinks. This time I had scallops, grilled Argentinian prawns and Alaska rolls. Was nice to discover a new flavour - grilled prawns were delicious! Recommending non-alcoholic Sakura spritz - so refreshing and good timing - right after I enjoyed seeing cherry blossom in Greenwich park. I’d only say, it’d be good to have tables further apart, as they’re placed in some areas too close to each other. Service is immaculate!

The oyster starter, pork and scallop skewers were divine. Disappointing we had to ask for our saki three times! Lovely service when we had it but just understaffed!

The freshest fish is what all sushi lovers seek. Sticks ‘n’ Sushi Greenwich moved to the top of my favorite sushi restaurants when we visited in March. Fresh, fresh, fresh and remarkable flavors in a broad range of creative rolls and sashimi dishes. The atmosphere is modern and inviting. The service was terrific. The restaurant is near the Royal Observatory, Greenwich College, the Greenwich Maritime Museum, and the Cutty Sark Museum. After you enjoy these, treat yourself further at Sticks ‘n’ Sushi.

Way below my expectations. Very nice atmosphere and okay service, however sushi tasted no better than a pack from supermarket. To be honest, it was the worst sushi I've ever had at a restaurant. Cooked dishes, such as salmon teriyaki, were slightly better.

A few issues with booking, which were resolved. The service was exemplary. Friendly, knowledgeable, efficient. The range of food amazing, to suit all tastes. High quality and well presented. Also lovely to have the dog with us who was equally warmly welcomed. Not a cheap night out, but certainly good value.
