Wagamama in Greenwich

Tuvimos una cena pobre con mala presentación sobre la comida, y esto se reflejó más tarde en el día en que yo y mi pareja llegamos a casa terminó con malestar estomacal contactado con el Wagamama terminó hablando con Jovita y Charlotte por correo electrónico y teléfono, y declaró que tenían que investigar el asunto y volver a mí desde el 09 / 08 / 2024. Todavía nada de nadie de Wagamama, todo lo que he pedido es mi dinero de vuelta. Basta con ver lo pobre que es la presentación de la comida que recibimos, incluso cuando lo vieron pasaron el asunto directamente a la oficina central. Último mensaje 04 / 10 / 2024 : - "muchas gracias por proporcionar estas imágenes y detalles. Hemos transmitido su correo electrónico, junto con toda la información que tenemos en torno a esta visita, a nuestra oficina central, ya que hemos decidido escalar esto aún más. Esto significa que esto tendrá un vistazo más exhaustivo dentro de la empresa para mantenerse en el curso de proporcionar buenas comidas y servicio a todos nuestros huéspedes. Please wrap food properly. Ordered a spicy chicken ramen via deliveroo. When it arrived, there wasn’t a single drop of broth left in the bowl. On top of that, someone elses order spilled all over my order. I was handed a paper bag dripping in spicy broth and katsu curry. I spent the evening cleaning the stink of someone elses katsu curry out of my carpet. Two flimsy bits of cellotape on the sides of the lid aren’t going to prevent spills.

Really accommodating staff, excellent attitude, really appreciate the service, always clean & feels spacious even when they’re rammed. Big thanks to Charlotte the floor manager who help fit us in last minute too 🙌

I had a cheeky wagas at lunchtime today (Friday). I went in at 11.45 so it was quiet. I was offered any seat which was nice. I ordered the chicken and prawn yakisoba and a coke. Food came in about ten minutes and tasted great. The dish is pretty stable no matter which branch you are in. Always consistent in how it’s constructed. Tasted great, it’s one of my favourite dishes there along with the infamous chicken katsu curry. The decor was nice. If you’re ordering multiple plates then the food comes out as soon as it’s cooked and not in an order. It won’t be my last visit to a wagamamas. This is a good one!

Disappointing! I've heard about this franchise and decided to try it for the first time in this unit. The service was ok, but the dish was bad, the chicken tasted terrible. Everything in the photos looks delicious, but unfortunately that wasn't my experience 😢

There were a lot of people and the atmosphere looked nice, so I glanced at the menu and went in. The prices aren't cheap because it's near the stadium, but the staff are friendly. I don't know what ramen tastes like... The noodles are spread out, lumpy and tough, and the gyoza are soft and taste like kimchi dumplings. I guess this is a British style🤔 Asian food doesn't taste like this!

After leaving the restaurant with 10 min approximately i felt a sharp pain on my stomach and belly ,I  needed to come back to the restaurant to go and use the toilet and I had diareea.i went home and that happened again with a vomiting as well. I have to say that the lady in charge maybe manager wich always she's nice to us and we know her for long time ago she asked for my name and email but still  I didn't receive any email yet. I know that place for more than 2 years we love to go and have wagamama and never happen nothing like that.i can say that before eating the food didn't taste the same and the chicken from teriyaki donburi was hard to eat and burn ,even we get the extra chicken on the side again i couldn't eat it ,he pork belly bun taste funny  and teriyaki beef brisket hot pot had no taste but yeat we have been charge for that even if we didn't eat it. The waitresses Sofia as well almost changes us more than we had to pay and I was lucky that I realised on that moment and that because on your system it not cutting out from the bill automatically the sides offer from soulclub. One of the members male during our meal was cleaning the baby chair next to us with some dirty water and chemicals wich was a shock for us.

Very good food and so was the service. We got few recommendations from friends earlier and we ordered same. Both the items we ordered were yummy. Firecracker was spicy but it was the kind of spicy, I like. So enjoyed it. First ordered some nonalcoholic drinks and later ordered cocktails. Everything was great. Loved both food and drinks. Definitely coming back.

It is a delightful establishment to savor the fusion of Asian cuisines. The ambiance is quite spacious, and the staff is exceptionally courteous and efficient in their service.

Food nice but service could be more efficient and attentive. Long queue to get in and quite a wait to get to get served. Staff were definitely trying their best though. Maybe allowing bookings would help,

I m customers from long time. In the last few months I have to say I m bit disappointed…. The food is good but the meet and fish are always very small in quantity compare before …. I can tell we have a decrease of richness in terms of quality food and a big increase of prices ….. ( at least 25%) Before this chain of restaurant was one of my first choice if I was around without a destination …. Now I think more and try to find a different one …. Not my first choice anymore

Después de un gran día de compras en el o 2 con mi madre una gran comida en Wagamama era justo lo que necesitábamos. Esta fue también la primera vez que mi mamá comía en este restaurante y ella disfrutaba de la comida que tenía siendo el pollo al curry. Tuve el ramen beef brisket y está delicioso como siempre. El personal de camareros era increíble y el gerente era muy comprensivo con mi alergia siendo intolerante a la lactosa y mi madre estaba impresionada también. En general, mi madre y yo tuvimos un gran día en el o 2 y este fue el mejor restaurante para ir después de un gran día de compras Sólido 5 / 5 Recomiendo completamente 🙂🍜

Wagamama is usually great, and this branch was no exception for my wife's food. Mine (Duck Gyoza) was over fried and a bit tasteless, but the manager took it off the bill.

If you have been to Japan personally, you will definitely not like the food here, the ramen tastes terrible, almost like the instant noodles you make yourself. The worst thing was the service, we were seated near a door which was constantly being opened and not closed by people coming in and out, the wind blowing in made us extremely cold. I communicated with the waiter and asked to change seats. The waiter only said that the other tables had not been cleared yet and they would change them for us in a while. Then nothing happened. We sat in this very cold seat until the end! If u have really been to japan u won't like the food here at all. The Ramen has an awful taste with no difference with the homemade instant noodles made by myself. The service is even worse. We were arranged into a seat which was near the door. The door was always opened by the people coming in and out without closing it, then the wind drown in made us really cold. I asked the waitress to help to change a seat and she just said there was no clean seat for us to change into and let us just wait. Then nothing happened. The waitress never came again and we sat on the cold seat till end.

I really like the chain of establishments. If you have any allergies, you will be asked and care will be taken to ensure that the food is prepared very carefully. This time I ordered beef salad. I was satisfied, it was delicious.🤤

Nice place however I asked for a suggestion of something hot and they advised me on a soup and they didn't tell me it was too spicy. The good thing is that I was able to return it but I lost time. Thank you.

Limpio, aire acondicionado, ambiente energético y muy buenas camareras. Para la zona de Saint Paul, era razonablemente caro para una excelente comida, especialmente cuando se compara con el pescado con patatas fritas, hamburguesas y otra comida robusta pub.

Better than the Food Hall nearby but not as good as other Wagamama's in the City in terms of atmosphere. We got Marinated Chicken Thigh Coconut Kare and it was delicious. It was both fresh, spicy and filling at the same time, and chicken was very nicely enriched with the marinated flavour. One thing to note is that I asked if it was spicy or not and the staff said "it is not spicy" with these exact words. However, it had a mild spiciness. This misinformation could be an issue for some people who don't want to eat any spicy food at all.

Este era un gran restaurante para un buen almuerzo! Tenía el calamar chili como acompañamiento y el ramen de pollo a la parrilla que eran increíbles como siempre. Este lugar en particular da un montón de calamares de chile. Me pareció que el precio era bastante razonable mientras estaba en el lado más caro. El servicio fue increíble, nunca nos dejaron esperando y la comida salió bastante rápido. La única desventaja de los wagamamas es que la comida sale cuando está lista y no en el orden en que la pediste, por lo que no puedes obtener un entrante y luego un plato principal y para grupos grandes de personas alguien puede terminar su comida antes de que alguien más obtenga la suya. Pero esto no es un gran problema. El restaurante era muy tranquilo cuando llegamos alrededor del mediodía, pero rápidamente se llenó de gente, esto creó un buen ambiente para la experiencia gastronómica. La decoración era increíble, con excelentes vistas de la 02 y una calle bastante alta. El lugar también está muy limpio, sin suciedad visible. El personal es muy informativo y servicial en la elección de los mejores elementos del menú, mientras que ser profesional. El lugar es muy fácil de encontrar, que es muy conveniente y hay aparcamiento cerca, que siempre es agradable tener! El lugar hace comida para llevar, pero me parece que al comer, la comida sabe mucho mejor que si lo estuvieras sacando. En general wagamamas es uno de mis favoritos personales y sin duda recomendaría venir aquí!

A disservice to asian cuisine. The chilli squid was seriously overcooked - nothing like the photos others have posted. The gyoza undercooked and the pad Thai missing key ingredients. The katsu curry was ok.

Terrible service wrong order, wife’s food arrived after I finished, drinks arrived after food. Food was not great and although tables were empty there was a huge queue. I think there were not enough staff in both the service area and cooking area. They cannot cope especially when there are events at the O2

The food itself was tasty but our orders all came out at different times which was a bit awkward, slow service and wasn’t overly friendly. Had to remind the staff about our drinks multiple times. Paid 8 pounds for a cocktail and it was poor so I didn’t finish it.

Nice and cool environment but very busy. The tropical juice and power juice made of spinach, apple and ginger is so good and at a competitive price. Staff very friendly. On juice spend is about 5-7pounds. Meal from 20pounds

Very slow service and rude staff

We ate here before a concert and it was very busy. Although we were seated quickly, the service was slow. There are new meals on the menu which we decided to try. The food was delicious. Every meals was tasty as usual. The cocktails were a rip off. £9 for a thinble. Drank in seconds. Would definitely recommend for food, but not so much for the cocktails

The door was left wide open making the entire building cold. We were given our meals and there was no flavoring on one of them. When we mentioned this to the staff they gave us the option to either have a brand new dish or just have the sauce added on. After choosing the sauce option we waited another 15mins and it still hadn't arrived. We eventually just gave up and left. This was when they weren't particularly busy as well.

Food is good service can improve

Liked the portion size. They were busy so food came at different times. It's kid friendly. Staff was okay, the venue was okay. Good for a quick lunch.

Food quite good as usual. Even though the restaurant was very full, with a queue in front of the door, we got our food quite quickly. It was very warm and stuffy in the restaurant. The ventilation is probably not designed for this kind of demand.

Just took lunch here. Waitress was really sweet as she apologised for how long the plate took to get to our table. One plate came ages before the other my partner sat waiting with his food in-front of him. While the kitchen spent what felt like an eternity to bring the dish l ordered. My food was super greasy. So greasy and oil drenched. They did offer us a desert to apologise for the length of time it took for the second dish to arrive. However the management need to get on top of this and make sure plates ordered together are served together. It ruins the point of eating out together otherwise. It was not busy so i feel no excuse here.

We went in for a quick lunch and the service was great, the staff was super helpful and polite. Great food as usual.

I came here last week, their food is absolutely amazing. If you like spicy food, I would recommend the Firecracker Chicken Curry. The staff were overall friendly and were very helpful. I would definitely recommend!

We had a mixed visit this time. Myself and my daughter come here when we can. We had two slight negative situations happen. I get them out the way first. I have a fish allergy, so as always the manager came to take my order however another staff member had taken my daughters order. We both ordered the same Chicken gyoza and ginger +chicken udon noodles. My daughter's food came first and my came a bit later. (This is normal practice especially as the chef has to clean everything to cook my food!) As my daughter started to eat she noticed her Udon meal had a shrimp in it. (There are 2 Udon noodle meals on the menu, one with chicken and shrimp the other with just chicken) The manager came over and took the meal away and got the chef to cook another Udon meal. Not the best, however the situation was handled well by the manager. The second negative was more of a technical one. When you get seated you get told your table number and shown a QR code which takes you to an app to pay.So to you don't have to wait to catch a staff member. At the end, I went to pay and entered my table No but someone's else's food order came up. I tried a couple of times but in the end we had to get a staff member so we could pay. No idea what happened there! Now the positives. Waga:s is our favourite Dad+daughter day out. We love the food and love the O2 venu. The food (when it's right) is the best and comes freshly cooked. The Gyoza's are our go to 'starter' with the Udon noodle Ginger chicken as a main. It didn't disappoint this time. So fresh and piping hot. The female manager (sorry,didn't catch your name) was a delight and extremely polite. Even when I started waffling on about my fish allergy the female manager was polite and attentive. The other members of staff who served us were also polite. All in all a good lunch even with the slight hiccups. The four stars is because of the order mix up!

Got a take out. Pad Thai chicken probably one of the worst I have every had, chicken I picked out as it was awful, not much flavour in the rest of the dish. Duck Bao, bao was soggy and and not much. On the plus young lady who took my order was very was and engaging. Sort your food out. Went back should not have 35 minute wait on 2 chicken skewers. Would have still been sitting if I did not ask. Skewers were tepid so had obviously been sitting there a while.

I had it a short distance from the hotel. This chain of Japanese restaurants interests me all over Europe. I have to say that in Austria, I mean in Vienna, it was perfect. Here I lacked a kind of cooperation, cooperation with the staff. The food is fine, but if the staff spoils a person's day, it's no longer fine.

Positives: Food was out quickly and was really nice. Negatives: Restaurant was quiet, probably double the staff to customer ratio. Stood and waited to be seated for an oddly long time given the lack of customers. After looking somewhat put out by having to stand up, one of the staff finally came over and sat us at a table. Absolutely rattled through instructions and shot off to sit back down again. Had to flag someone down so we could order despite numerous staff just hovering around looking thoroughly bored. Summary: Good food, service definitely lacking. Might have just caught staff at a bad hour but definitely could improve on at least faking a smile

I have come here a few times now and I love how fresh the food taste, I especially like the aubergine and coriander boa buns as a starter. There are child friendly meals too. The staff are friendly and polite.

Made 2 visits here over a long weekend at c2c at the o2. My first visits to a Wagamama restaurant. The food was delicious! The service was excellent, our server on the second day,Charmaine, was a credit to the place, cheery and bubbly, full of advice about the food, made our visit feel super special. Will definitely visit again but a more local restaurant ! Thank you so much x

Waiting at the door for 6 mins waiting to be seated with lots of free sits staff members didn’t acknowledge us but was chatting away to another staffs due to this we left

If you're really keen on eating this restaurant's food, i would recommend getting back home and order Deliveroo from here. I assure it will arrive earlier. You'll probably wait at least 10 mins to be seated, another 20 mins to catch someone's attention to get your order. To be clear, I cannot blame staff here, but it is pretty clear that they need more people to run this size of a restaurant. After 30 mins, if you are patient enough to place your order finally, you should be ready to wait for another 30 mins for your food on the table. Remember the beginning? Yes, ordering from Deliveroo or whatever is absolutely quicker. The most I like with this branch is, it is full of surprises. If you're lucky, you can catch someone's attention again and ask for the desert you have ordered earlier. Be ready to hear the answer that desert is not available. I was so exhausted to argue, resigned to my fate and paid the full amount. If you are eager to argue, it might be funny as well. next time for sure I'll try it.

Came in early to ask specifically what time they take their last table. Was told last orders are at 9.50pm as they shut at 10. Turned up at 9.30 and was refused a table. We come in here all the time and was appalled by the rude waitress who met us on the door. How can your times online and the times told by staff who are actually working not add up. Something tells me by the attitude on the waitress that they just wanted to go home early this night.

The service was great, however the food was not. I've been to a few Wagamamas and this is the worst. The flavours were massively lacking in the tofu hot pot which I loved before at another Wagamama, and the bang bang cauliflower was cut too large and undercooked, again contributing to a lack of flavour. Like I said, I've massively enjoyed these dishes elsewhere so it was specifically a problem at this branch. Also the gaps between tables are too narrow meaning people including children pushing past each other right next to where you're sat, if they just moved the tables away slightly it would be more comfortable.

The disabled toilet was block ( the was no sogn on the door) the water was up to the top of the bowl, there was poo all over the toilet and the floor was flooded, the main toilets weren’t any better, they stank, didn’t flush and no soap

Can’t fault a Wagamama’s, great menu options. O2 venue can get busy at times depending on if there is a show/gig on and what time you go but other than that, ideal for large parties and pre event food

Full of children, incredibly short on staff, the staff present moving like geriatrics with queue going around the corner. Absolutely the worst wagamamas i have been to. Avoid like palonium.

Came here recently with friends for the first time for dinner. We were seated quickly; staff were very helpful; all the food and drink tasted great and didn't take long to come. A good quality experience all around!

Cannot fault the service but the food has gone downhill. I can get better in my local Chinese takeaway. I ordered the firecracker with chicken but mainly peppers and onions which are cheap

First of all, the service was really poor. No one ever came up to check in with how we were doing during the whole stay. The guy serving our food literally threw the things on the table. We ordered the Bao buns with duck, and I would not recommend it at all. It had almost no filling, was really tasteless and the duck itself was the driest thing I’ve ever eaten. We had one Chili chicken ramen - the broth really tasteless, also with dry chicken. We also had one Gyoza ramen with chicken. The ramen noodles were over cooked, but the broth was tasting okay with a good amount of spice, and the gyoza dumplings had raw onion in them, so they weren’t completely cooked. But the sauce that came with the dumplings tasted really good and was probably the only thing out everything we ordered that I actually enjoyed. So overall, bad experience both with the service and the food. But the menu had a lot of different options and the restaurant itself was pretty nice.

I love wagamama! So many different things to choose from. The staff is so friendly.. and the FOOD DELICIOUS ❤️ my food came out in 10 minutes and the pad Thai was to die for! I wanna thanks Sherli for is great service and for always remembering what I wanna order ahahha Thank you all ❤️

The food is amazing as always, however the service left us rather underwhelmed. We waited 30 minutes to order since seating with no apology for the wait. If it was busy I would understand but it wasn't and plenty of people got served before us. When we finally got to order we felt rushed despite being left so long. On top of that we were never asked about allergies or if we knew how things worked upon seating, just given the menus and walked away without a word. Never told the table number in order to pay or given our servers name, we had to ask for the table number from one of the other waitresses in order to pay for our meal. The only saving grace was a waitress Ingra who was lovely. She checked on us and took a real interest in our table, very kind and professional. Followed procedures and made us feel welcomed throughout, shame she wasn't our server.

Menu is always very appealing but the service at this particular brach was poor. Main meals came so far apart that some had finished before others had started. Had to remind on several occasions what we had been ordered. Beer came in the form of a warm unopened can. Serious lack of attention to the needs of the table. No tip was given.

I wish i went to Banana tree, which is 1 min walk from this establishment. Went there during the weekend and took an overseas visitor for a nice meal (what i thought would be a nice meal, like it used to years ago). I had chicken curry, and another party had a noodle dish. Wagamama had become so greedy that they are delusional. You only get 4 pieces of chicken in a cury dish, the size of a chicken piece is as big as a grape - so you can imagine. My dish came first and i waited 9 min for my guests noodle dish to come. Our original waitress Niki only approached us once to take our order and put their name on a paper, and we never interacted with her again, no checks were done at any point during our meal. My guests noodle dish had 4 pieces of chicken and 4 pieces of prawn. A male waiter from another section approached us to clear our table as we sat there, he sensed i lied that everything was ok and expressed his genuine interest in getting our feedback, which i didnt hesitate sharing at that point. I appreciate his service and a genuine customer care. I give him 5* However, we left unsatisfied because what once was a quality food chain had become total rubbish. Put it that way, if i wanted to eat a cup of rice with whatever sauce, i would have stayed home. The review gets 2* only because of the male waiter who has passion for what he does, but i was there to enjoy a meal and show my guest my favourite chain. No more.

Being completely honestly, wagamamas service for me always varies. There are times when it’s really nice and other times when it’s not as nice and it can lack consistency. I got the Yasai vegetable gyoza ramen and it was okay but it definitely lacked seasoning and it was a bit bland and considering the price I don’t know if it really lived up to the expectations. Maybe it’s because I went near to when it was closing, but I found that service overall was a bit mediocre. Maybe next time I’ll try a different dish.

I thoroughly enjoyed my experience in Wagamama's 02 branch. I go here every month or so and it is always consistent. The service is regular, not necessarily anything wow about it. But the food is delicious. The chicken katsu curry is incredibly delicious and the crispiness of the chicken is unmatched, and the curry sauce is incredibly rich in flavour. I also had the chilli squid which is sublime when it's fresh, but when it's rubbery, it's not worth it. But one thing I do find incredibly strange is that the prices for the food are okay if you dine-in as the portions are plausible, but if you're ordering takeaway the portions are incredibly small compared to dine-in, and then the price is just extortionate despite the dine-in and takeaway prices being exactly the same. I love Wagamama though nonetheless.

Absolutely Fab ! Both my friend's & my Favourite restaurant 🤤👍♥️ we went for an early birthday treat for her 😋

We were made to wait for 30 mins in the rain as well! There were empty tables with no staff cleaning them. No apologies or care given. At one point there seemed to be more empty tables than there were people queuing . The worst Wagamamas we have been to.

They made everyone wait in a long line in the rain to be seated for 30+ minutes even though there were loads of free tables and an entire top floor of seating empty. The staff just walked around ignoring the line and pretended to be busy. Once we finally got in to be seated we then had to wait an extra 10 mins at the counter whilst staff ignored us and I even over head two staff members laughing at everyone queuing in the rain. It’s not acceptable, there was zero care, effort and work ethic. Everyone in the line could have easily been seated right away?!?

Love the Tantanmen Beef Brisket Ramen - definitely one of my favourite dishes on the menu. The food was great as always, and the waiters were nice. The cloudy lemonades in recent times have been quite watery/diluted unfortunately, which never used to be the case. Overall definitely would recommend this branch, just be aware that it gets quite busy on event days at the O2.

Takeaway from here was awful. Edamame mostly brown and broken. Ramen noodles were so overcoooked they congealed together in one big lump.

Not a great experience for various reasons... 1. The Pad Thai dish lacked flavour and was very underwhelming. The chicken katsu salad was nice though. 2. We asked for a ramen dish to not have coriander. The lady said that's no problem but then it still came with coriander. 3. The three meals then all came at three different times so my group mostly ate separely. 4. We didn't get enough chopsticks and also our pot of tea came with no cup. 5. Finally we asked for the bill but the lady never gave it to us. We did however figure out you could pay using a QR code but we could have been told that. Maybe they are short staffed or just lack training and standards, but overall very sloppy service and I wouldn't be visiting again.
