The best restaurants serving Japanese food in London

Sushi preciosa y encontrará ellos por todos lados en el centro de Londres. Yo estaba atendiendo a ir a la una en Drury Lane, la mayoría del tiempo. Para que sea aún mejor, si vas en el último media hora de apertura (8:30 - 9:00 pm) todo el sushi y las ensaladas son a mitad de precio! !

Segunda vez aquí, y debo quedarme que fue mucho menos convincente que nuestra primera visita. Aunque el omakase en sí es delicioso, carece de la perfección que encontramos en nuestra última visita, y creo que el menú de prestigio ha experimentado una inflación muy fuerte. No recuerdo cuál era el precio hace aproximadamente un año y medio pero era mucho menor que los 380 GBP por menú que pagamos esta vez. El servicio es muy amable, pero me pareció sorprendente que el chef Watanabe en realidad no estaba allí cuando uno esperaría que un chef Omakase preparara un menú en persona. También encontramos la lista de vinos bastante poco inspiradora, con una falta de diversidad (muy centrada en Borgoña, que elegimos con pesar de no tener opciones más interesantes de Alemania, Austria, Loira, Ródano o Burdeos) y cosechas demasiado jóvenes. No a la par con las ambiciones del restaurante si me preguntas. Así que el omakase en sí era bueno a muy bueno, el servicio era impecable, pero el valor no es bueno. Me gustó mucho más Hakuba en París, donde pagamos aproximadamente el mismo precio y pudimos ver al chef Watanabe cocinando para nosotros. ¿Lo intentaremos en el futuro? Lo dudo, porque tuvimos una gran experiencia allí hace 18 meses, y una bastante abrumadora en esta nueva ocasión.

Really good place for lunch or dinner. It makes for an expensive lunch, but it's worth it for the right occasion. Was at the 2nd table seated after opening, but didn't order until restaurant was 1/2 full because there was a staff briefing meeting. So service wasn't ideal. The food was fresh, their salads are huge. In hindsight when sharing a "Maki Maki" there's no need for an extra' Salad '. All in all, great dining and great food.

This is such a great spot for dinner. My husband and I go here at least once a fortnight. The soups are to die for! The staff are fantastic too. Would highly recommend!

Food is usually good however today, i placed my order online and when i went to the store to collect the order it was closed at 8:30pm, but they still took my payment.

My family and I had a great time. Our waiter was patient and helpful. The food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the Coconut Kare with fish - vibrant coconut and lime flavors, buttery fish, and slow building heat perfect for me. Our table also ordered the Gochujang Tofu and Yaki Soba, both of which were fantastic. It’s been 7 years since I’ve at a Wagamama, and I gotta say, the menu has tremendously improved!

This is a really cosy place, would be lovely for a date. Popped in while travelling for work and was so well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble, and the food was amazing.

Same East Asian woman twice in 1 week has been SO rude! No eye contact, spoken to in a rude way when I ask a simple question, basically threw a napkin at me, gave me more attitude when I asked for another napkin, after spending £30 on food. My friend who works for the NHS was given attitude (same employee) for requesting Blue Light discount- examined her ID and app for a good few minutes as if her salary depended on declining minor discounts. But ask for soy sauce and suddenly the lady has no time. 🤨 Do not feel welcome at all! Get better staff who appreciate their job! The hijabi lady is always lovely! As much as I like sushi, I’d rather enjoy a stress-free lunch.
