We had a very nice and chill lunch! Rene was super friendly and helpful. He also offered water for our dog, which was really nice 🤗 Food was also very tasty!

Had a great time with my partner here. The atmosphere is wonderful both inside and outside seating. Isamar was my server and was thorough with cleaning and setting the table. Renee was hilarious and informed us about the menus recommendation and Victoria was attentive, sweet and helpful! Manager on duty as well was just amazing! Timing was great for both food and drinks and cocktails during cocktail hour was amazing! Robata was great too! Will keep coming back! Thank you all x

Everytime I have come to Tsunami I have had a great time. The food is very creative and flavourful but the service is exceptional. Our waiter Rene was so sweet, made celebrating our 2 year anniversary a wonderful experience. Highly recommend the cocktails and mocktails they are so fun.

Very disappointed. I had been to tsunami before and loved this restaurant the food and service was excellent. I recently saw that tsunami was available on first table and decided to book it for my sister's birthday. Food took ages to come and the waiter even had to ask us what dishes were missing, I believe that a restaurant should have the order written down somewhere .We were disappointed with some of the dishes especially the dessert platter. The chocolate fondant was dry and bitter, panna cotta was hard, strawberries were spoilt and ice cream tasted like they had freezer burn. Despite informing our waiter and the man at the front desk that we were celebrating my sister's birthday, they didn't put a candle on the dessert, we had to ask them to do it. Just overall disappointed as I expected to have a brilliant evening.

Tsunami is always our best choice when it comes to Japanese food, the food is exquisite and the service is incredible, today we were served by Temi and the service was as always excellent

After being a patron for circa 20 years this will be the last time I visit tsunami. I went this evening and had issues with the food - the sun kissed salmon sashimi was too thickly cut (I mentioned to our waitress who acknowledged that this was the case). When I received the bill the item was still on the bill. Spoke to the manager to explain all the food we received was worse than the many times we have eaten there and complained about incredibly salty chicken as well to be told that he would remove the salmon but nothing her could do about the rest. I have been to tsunami possible 100 times in the past 20 years including holding my daughters birthday there for 10 guests and the manager also know my family. Sadly this loyalty meant nothing - despite the manager knowing my family. I asked for the service charge to be removed and informed them that they would be loosing my custom forever 1 they didn’t seem to care. The food was not up to the standards that I have expected. I was even a frequent at the branch in Charlotte street years ago. Sad to see this level of service and quality of food.

Disgusting big man at the front desk, as soon as we walked in he was unwelcoming. Sent my drink back and he refused saying I have to pay for it when I took a sip because it tasted expired and like alcohol (I ordered a mocktail) then threatened to call the police on us because I refused to pay for a drink that I’m not having. All he had to do was either swap it for a new drink or remake the drink I had which taste like absolutely horrible. Instead all he did was argue and give me attitude If I’m paying for something I expect to not taste expired. You should consider hiring new staff to represent the restaurant because the service is absolutely disgusting

The mushroom skewers were not as described and were ridiculously small, it was literally just a few pieces of a tiny mushroom. The black cod tacos and mixed tempura were nice, steak and truffle tofu were ok, not amazing. Prices are quite high for what you get. Our main took over 40 minutes to arrive and they messed up the order, thinking it was a chicken steak instead of beef. The manager was friendly but definitely drinking on the job. beautiful decorations.

Good food and it is a bit pricier but was very fresh. Our waiter was lovely and helpful. Couldn’t believe we could get gluten free gyoza so that was a nice surprise. Will definitely return again in the future

A wonderful surprise across from the Clapham gay bars. Tucked away on this little street minding its own business, this is an oasis of delicious Japanese food. The bao buns are phenomenal. Try the short rib. An excellent seared tuna sashimi. Yummy chicken gyoza. Some innovative cocktails and mocktails. On a nice evening they have a lovely outdoor space. Inside may be a bit loud with a Playlist of pop music. But no matter where you sit you won't be disappointed by the food.

Cheap looking, small portions, barely ok taste, 40 min do bring the first dish. 120£ for 2 people dinner. Avoid.

I had heard great things about this place so was very excited to go for a date night. Vibe and atmosphere are great but was a bit disappointed with the food, it did not live up to the hype. Visually the food was very appealing but taste was not very flavoursome and very expensive for what it was worth.

Very disappointing - went by online reviews so nobody will see this one most likely. Construction work going on in one half of the building the screeching of saws and hammers. Sushi was below itsu standard. Very very disappointing. Was for a birthday too !! Had to try and book another venue to try and make up for it. Won’t be back.

The food was nicely presented, but it didn't taste like it used to. The waitress brought out a cocktail with flames on top, and the paper straw caught fire. She asked for help since both of her hands were occupied holding the tray, so I stepped in to assist her. Unfortunately, in the process, I burned my £200 trousers. Needless to say, I'm not happy! When I spoke to the manager, he said there was nothing he could do, so I ended up taking a significant loss. They definitely need more staff, as the service was incredibly slow. The wait time to be served was unbearable.

1,5 hrs waiting for Sushi, and simply their priorities is takeaway section. The waitress mentioned that their takeaway is very busy.

Great sushi! I loved the vegan cauliflower bao buns and the vegan and pescatarian food options! The food was tasty. The atmosphere and decor was great, and waitresses were lovely.

The staff were so kind and helpful. The food and drinks were really good as well. We arrived during happy hour so we had a couple of lychee cocktails and spiced mango cocktails. They were both great! We then had some crab shui mai, volcano sushi, and salmon and spicy tuna maki. Everything else was excellent. We just felt that the volcano sushi might have been a tad over complicated Overall though, great experience and the staff were all FAB.

Might have been the worst place I have ever been to, not sure how they manage to achieve such a high rating. The staff members names Callum or Cal and Caesar are highly unprofessional, my order and food wasn’t taken for over 45 minutes, the table and chairs were filthy. The waitresses were nice to help however the supposed leaders in charge were terrible, I left without ordering anything, they were very dismissive when I had to complain about their restaurant, decor is cheap and the place is significantly unhygienic.
