A lovely restaurant for a lunch right on the riverside, overlooking the Houses of Parliament and the London Eye. Beautifully presented food, good service, and good value

Just found that place by chance, and the menu looks attractive. The service is very nice and welcoming. The food is nice but not outstanding unfortunately..Love japanese food and having eaten at different places around the globe, I was disappointed.I ordered the black cod and was hoping to have a very good portion of it, but..oooohhh the disappointment when my fish arrived! it was a teeny tiny portion, for the price they charged me...It was however very very nice and I wish they have given me a bigger fish..Not sure, I will be back, as I was hungry 1hour after eating there....

Delicately and skillfully prepared food. The sushi and grilled skewers were all perfectly done. The latter were not overcooked and still succulent. We missed out on the sashimi, but this looked good and if you are going to spend the money (most 'mains' costing £15-20), I think it makes sense to try the sashimi rather than the more predictable tonkatsu or soba/udon (which a cheaper Japanese restaurant would probably do just as well - there is one at the other end of the building nearer the bridge).Although overlooking the Thames, there is no seating by the window. The grill is in the centre of the restaurant and the sushi bar between the bar seating and the windows, so the view is very much of the food being prepared (if you like that sort of thing). It was a particularly windy day we visited, so lots of gusts of wind blowing into the restaurant that provided ventilation, but I could see that the smell of the grilled food could be a problem on a less windy day. Service was a little tardy at times - we were left with the menu for quite a while and had to do try quite hard to catch the eye of the waitress - but the food arrived promptly and was well presented. In summary, beautifully prepared food, but the restaurant doesn't quite make the most of its location and setting. Would probably eat here again if passing by and in the area, but wouldn't go out of my way to find it.

Battling through the tourist crowds around Big Ben and Southbank Ozu comes as a lovely respite. Food is good ... Loved the chicken Ramen noodle soup, partner enjoyed his Yaki Udon fried noodle too. Shashimi and goyza rounded off the meal. Oh and an obligatory glass ( or 2 ) of Sth African white.... The tourist crowds truely are mad!

And right near the London Eye. We went around 6PM on a Saturuday night and it was completely empty but started to fill up when we left. I enjoyed the Hamachi, although the pieces were very small and very expensive. I am from SF our pieces are abou twice as big for half the price. I went to another good Japanese restaurant, Kappa near Earl's Court Tube station. Same situation, so I guess Sushi is just really expensive here. My son had Udon and Agedashi Tofu. both were great. I also had Inari and salad. All fresh and delicious. Just pricey. But I'll take pricey over bad. As a tourist, it's location was great. Hard to get good food near tourist attractions, at least that seems to be true in SF. But this was a great find for us.

All right, the interior is quite modest and the prices are quite high. The all-japanese staff remains reserved. But at the same time they're heartily greeting you with some of the best raw fish courses you can get in London. They have a perfect salmon sashimi with delightful salmon raw on top of it. The place is authentically japanese in regard of atmosphere and, most of all, the cuisine. Sincerely reccommended!

Jederzeit wieder.

If you are visiting the London Eye or Sea Life Aquarium, try to visit this restaurant for a meal. We chanced upon it because it was drizzling and we wanted to eat fast and get out of the rain. The restaurant is on the 2nd floor of the County Hall building- just follow the signs stuck on the walls. It serves very good value japanese set lunches. The food is good and portions are generous. I had a very delicious yakitori selection bento and my husband had the teriyaki chicken bento. Both choices were authentically prepared and delicious. Apparently the restaurant has been open only a short while so hurry there before the crowds discover this hidden gem.

Went to Ozu on a sunday lunchtime and was surprised to see only a few customers. Considering the amount of tourists in the area, it was pretty empty.Having said that, it did fill up after we sat down. The staff were attentive, although it was a little disheartening to see no Japanese staff working, thus it came as no surprise that the waiters were not fully clued up on the menu.Food was well presented and arrived promptly, but I will say that is was a little overpriced for what you get. With another Japanese chain down the road, it was easy to see why they had a queue for their lunchtime service and not this place.Overall, not bad but if timeis on your side....keep going!!

We recently hired a sushi chef, and the experience exceeded all expectations. From the first course to the last, every dish was a work of art—both in presentation and flavor. The chef's skills and attention to detail were immediately evident, as was his dedication to using only the freshest, highest-quality ingredients. His ability to engage with guests and make them feel part of the culinary experience added a unique, personal touch. Hiring this sushi chef was one of the best decisions we made, and we highly recommend his services for anyone looking to elevate their dining event. Truly exceptional!

We had a wonderful dining experience at Ichi Sushi in the Park Westminster Hotel. The food was excellent, and my family thoroughly enjoyed it. Jasha, our server, was exceptional—attentive and professional, ensuring we were well taken care of. The service and food exceeded our expectations, and we look forward to returning soon!
