As a person with food sensitivities, I was WOWED by my experience here. My server, Janesh, customized rolls for my needs and ensured everything was gluten free. The sushi was super fresh and I enjoyed every bite. The rest of my party that didn't have food limitations, thoroughly enjoyed their dishes as well. The atmosphere is quite and small. Depending on what you are looking for, you may like that. I enjoyed the food and service most and will definitely return to dine here.

So. The food was really good. Sushi was great. Service was very lacklustre and felt like they didn’t have to make any effort as the 12.5% “service fee” is added to the bill anyway. Had asked for a window seat as it was a birthday but that wasn’t even acknowledged. I’d say this place is a bit meh.

Rude and a waste of your money. Avoid at all cost

ichi sushi and shashimi was a wonderful place if you love japanese foods! One of the best japanese restaurant for me. The experience was great, especially with their friendly employee, I think her name was Jasha? She was very helpful and accommodating!

Great place to enjoy sushi with freshly prepared ingredients. Although this restaurant resides in a hotel, the place feels cosy and intimite. Would go here again and reserve the table at the window with a view on Westminster.

Definitely London prices. My son had sushi; I'd like to think we paid for the quality of the food. However, I was not impressed with being charged 4GBPs for a large bottle of still bottle branded with the hotel's logo.

Ichi restaurant was Ichi-ban. Especially enjoyed the softshell crab. Chef Gyanu and Bianca Reshma are truly perfectionists at their craft. Lovely.

Beautiful food and presentation, I asked the chef to pick the sushi and it was exceptional.

ICHI sushi bar is a tucked away diner inside a hotel and it is very chilled and relaxing place. The sushi itself is very so-so and describe as 'international' sushi, so not very authentic but tasty enough - lots of avocado, crunchy vegetables and so on, fish pieces, not so much. For instance, I ordered a thirty pound sushi platter and there was no ' O-nigiri' fish only vegetable rolls with a tiny bit of fish. Was expecting tuna, yellowtail, sea bream etc but none of that! The miso soup cost seven pounds which is crazy expensive; the green tea was a basic tea bag (!) rather than sencha leaves and boiling water which is a big no-no. You get the drift! Service is functional rather than friendly.

I have to say that we didn't eat directly in the restaurant because it is very small, but in the lobby. The food offered is very tasty but the price is way too expensive. I would look for another alternative in the future.

美味しいお寿司が食べたくてこちらのお店を見つけました。実際にお店でメニューを見たら鰻丼があったので久しぶりに鰻が食べたくなり急遽それに変更しました。ご飯は酢めしだったので少し違和感はありましたが鰻のタレは美味しく満足出来るレベルでした。なぜか鰻丼にわさびがついてきたのですが、よく見かける偽のわさびとは異なり美味しいわさびで、鰻丼にマッチしていました。値段もリーズナブルだと感じました。頼んだ緑茶が日本の緑茶ではなかったので、もし日本のちゃんとした緑茶だったらもっと満足度が上がったと思います。今度はお寿司を食べてみたいと思いました。

Best sushi in London! Authentic wasabi, fresh sushi, and amazing service from Jasha, all made for a wonderful evening. Topped it off with a delicious green tea ice cream filled chocolate cake. Will definitely go back during this visit.

My husband and I wanted sushi for dinner and we just typed on google map the nearest one and we found ICHI. We didn't know that the restaurant was inside a hotel but for our surprise it was a really pleasant experience. Staff were nice, atmosphere was good and the food was great! I totally recommend having sashimi, it's a must in a place called sushi and sashimi bar! We also had the crab meat and avocado salad and the tuna aburi roll. I'll definitely go back in one of my day trips to London! Shame we didn't discover it earlier! Now it's on my list of favourite places to dine in London.

We booked via open table for a 14:45 table when we arrived we were advised they would close at15:00 but were happy to take our order. They served us in the Bar area , which was great as we had been looking forward to our sushi. Food amazing, tables a bit low. Sashimi was the best I have had in years 😍

Every time I stay at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge I always eat at ICHI sushi. The sushi is great quality with bold creative flavours and they also import some really unique fish types that you don't see often in UK Highly recommend this sushi place for anyone who likes gourmet sushi

Didn't expect this high quality from a hotel sushi restaurant. The quality of the fish was really good. Especially the Eel and Hamachi👌🏻 Would definitively recommend the place (apart from the hotel atmosphere)

The place in on the smaller side and quite intimate but the atmosphere was great and we really enjoyed the food. The service was quick and efficient and our waitress Alina was very helpful in helping us pick the best sushi for us to enjoy

Séjournant dans l'hôtel Park Plaza Westminster, nous avons mangé un soir dans ce restaurant. Tour est fait maison et minute sous vos yeux. La qualité des produits est vraiment top. Nous avons passé un agréable moment avec une sublime vue sur Big Ben et Westminster.

Dîner 100% sushi/ maki de très bonnes qualité et faits devant nos yeux. Le service est au niveau et agréable. Bon restaurant avec une belle déco.

We ate here whilst staying at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge Hotel. it was one of the reasons we had booked this hotel as we love Japanese food. In fact, it being half term in London and the hotel being very full, this tiny restaurant with its view of Big Ben is an oasis of calm in a hotel busy with families. Service is delightful, food is stunning, possibly the best sashimi I have ever eaten. We had a lovely evening with you, thank you.

One of the best place serving Japanese Foods in London. foods are really delicious and they have good variety to select. service is quick and great. everything is perfect.

Lovely little spot tucked away close to waterloo station, surprisingly empty for Sunday lunch time. Its in a hotel, perhaps thats why it was more quiet than most places in London. Lovely waitress and delicious vegan sushi options. Will be back.

Amateurs de sushis et séjournant dans cet hôtel, nous n'avons pas manqué de tester leurs sushis. Si la qualité des produits est irréprochable, je pense qu'en terme de sushiman ils peuvent trouver mieux, le riz était sans intérêt et le sushi en lui même beaucoup, mais vraiment beaucoup trop, serré ce qui gâche tout.

The restaurant was nice and the food was good. However there was one waitress who was not very pleasant with us. I think her name was Maria Claudia. We arrived at the restaurant 45 mins before our booking and asked if we could be seated earlier. There was a guard who told us to go in and choose a table, but I wanted to check with the waitress first. I asked Maria Claudia, and she said, without checking anything and in an impolite manner, that they have reservations and cannot seat us before our reserved time. Although, the restaurant was completely empty except for two tables. That didn't bother us since we knew our booking was still 45 mins away, and there could actually be reservations before us. however, we sat exactly opposite the restaurant and we could see the whole restaurant and tables. We waited 45 mins, and during that time only one or two tables were used and the rest were all empty. Nonetheless we went in at our reserved time. After looking at the menu we had few questions for the waitress, so we called Maria Claudia. She seemed on edge as if she really does not want to answer our questions, she kept looking away and rolling here eyes. We asked her about an item in the menu if it can be swapped for something else, she replied "No I don't think so, that's what's on the menu", so I asked her you don't think so or are you sure? She then said I don't think we can do it. So I politely asked her to check with the chef, she agreed but never came back to inform us. We were then served by two other waitresses who were both very professional and nice.

Located in Park Plaza Weatminster Bridge Nice variety of sushi’s, sashimi’s and nigiri different styles. Well prepared and served. Very interesting and tasty coctails. Service is fast and friendly. The only minus is seating, chairs are not very comfortable and table is prety small.

Saw the sparkling sake on the menu so thought I would try it out. It's very mellow with light hints of elderflower and sake...bit light and bland for me but the price tag is huge!!! £17 for a 125ml bottle...that's 2 glasses... Unagi Don was not bad...lovely soft rice with the grilled fish; however could have done with more teriyaki sauce...

Is the third time I go. Nice atmosphere and absolutly fantastic service from all the staff. The sushi is always perfect. Was a real treat. Will definitely go again.

I did not listen to the negative reviews about the food quality, also because it is in a fine hotel, it looks good, and that we went no seating available. What the fact of the matter is, for the quality of the food it’s too expensive, it is really not flavorful sushi which is quite odd. My guess is that the fish is all been previously frozen, may not be very fresh, and they’re not very skilled at property making the special sushi rice

Wir waren heute Abend als Geburtstagsgeschenk für unsere Tochter im Ichi Sushi Restaurant.Ein netter und freundlicher Empfang und das Ambiente in diesem kleinen aber feinen Restaurant stimmte uns auf einen gemütlichen Abend ein. Die Bedienung war schnell, sehr freundlich und ging gerne auf unsere Fragen und Wünsche ein.Das frisch zubereitete Essen war sehr lecker, die Sake-Verkostung bot einen schönen Abschluss.Danke für den gemütlichen Abend, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Locale all’interno di un hotel, molto piccolo, intimo ed accogliente con luci soffuse. Tavoli totali 8/10, al massimo 30 coperti quindi consigliabile prenotare... il cibo molto buono , servizio anche rapido , personale super gentile.. abbiamo trovato una ragazza dai tratti giapponesi che ha vissuto in Italia e che parlava perfettamente italiano quindi ci ha aiutati in quanto i menu inglesi sushi differiscono da quelli italiani.. prezzo forse un po’ altino ma comunque meritato. Speso in 4 ....175 sterline...

Sushi was niet goed opgerold, viel erg uit elkaar. Wel verse ingredienten. Zeewier salade was bijzonder en lekker. Wijn echt duur a 10 pond per glas. sashimi te dik gesneden, homp rauwe zalm daardoor draderig. Kreeg tot twee keer toe eten dat we niet hadden besteld. Twee tafels aan elkaar geschoven van ongelijke hoogte. Op bank zittend komt de tafel bijna op borst hoogte. Op stoel zittend was het goed.

Aunque no es la zona de descanso más grande (por lo que sería mejor reservar cuando hay mucha gente), las vistas, el personal y la comida son de primera categoría. Prepárese para esperar si es necesario, la comida está preparada a mano, pero vale la pena. Servido en la vestimenta tradicional, la presentación de la comida es excelente. Gran manera de pasar la hora del almuerzo.

Wouldn’t recommend as you can get much nicer and cheaper sushi/sashimi/nigiri/etc at a nearby Japanese shops/cafes (like “Wasabi” or “Kokoro”). The only thing that we liked is that the restaurant is situated in a beautiful Park Plaza Hotel with gorgeous interior and views.

Dit restaurant zit in het Park hotel. De sushi is super vers en erg smakelijk. Het interieur is hip en de stoeltjes ook. De rugleuningen van de stoelen zijn hip laag, dus ik had al snel last van mijn rug. Wellicht een puntje van aandacht.

If you are looking for having tasty Japanese food, then this restaurant and bar serve a good collection of these sort of food.

Small venue inside the hotel complex. Great window view where i was seated. Lovely surroundings perfect for a date. Full bar menu and lounge bar just outside the restaurant. Wait staff very friendly, service was quick. Serving sizes were small so i had two rolls and a starter which made my belly content.

I do not recommend for a large group.

All’interno del magnifico Park Plaza Westminster Bridge si trova questo ristorante giapponese. Perfettamente rispondente a quello che ci si aspetta inclusi i kimono per le cameriere. Sushi, sushimi, rolls e ogni altra pietanza sono serviti con garbo e cortesia. Quantità non esagerate e prezzi in linea con quelli londinesi. Cibo ottimo che non deluderà le vostre aspettative specie quando magari siete stanchi dopo una giornata a spasso per la città e non volete uscire la sera.

Avevo giurato a me stessa che non avrei mai più messo piede in un ristorante giapponese in quanto questo tipo di cucina non mi aveva particolarmente entusiasmato (prima e unica esperienza in un ristorante ad Amsterdam molti anni fa), eppure mi sono dovuta ricredere. Ottimo ristorante, ottima la "family boat" con specialità di sushi e sashimi, ottimi i dolci. E l'esperienza mi è così piaciuta che, durante la permanenza presso il meraviglioso Park Plaza Westminster bridge all'interno del quale si trova il ristorante, ci siamo tornati per ben due volte, anche se l'ultima ha rischiato di non esserci e non per colpa nostra ma per via di una certa "ottusità" nel prendere le prenotazioni: insomma, avevano sbagliato a trascrivere il numero della nostra stanza a cui era associata la prenotazione, sostenendo che non risultava. Ci abbiamo messo parecchio a convincerli dell'errore...

I come here once in a while. This time I tried the crab meat salad with avocado, well paired combination, GBP 8.75. Toro sashimi is still 9.75 for two slices. Yellowtail carpaccio at GBP 12.50 is a good buy considering it is a largish portion. Good selection of sake. Try and get the table by the window if possible, view on Westminster.

I ate here three times this last visit and I was pleasantly sated. I happen to have a kimono top which I wore to the waitress'delight as their costumes were definitely simpatico with the ambiance. I variously had miso soup seaweed salad with a variety of seaweeds, a crab salad which was a bit rich for my taste due to the mayo, great nigiri and and rolls of different types. My favorite is the soft shell crab with ponzu dipping sauce and a small salad on the side. Hot sake to top it all off. Unfortunately the seating is limited so do reserve.

Hicimos su pequeña opción de menú degustación junto con una degustación de sake. La sopa era un buen plato y los postres estaban deliciosos. El sushi fue la razón principal de los 5 estrellas. Estaba bastante bien cortado y muy bueno. El servicio fue bueno durante toda la noche.

Food is terrible and over ptice

This is a lovely restaurant with fantastic Sushi options. I was concerned about if this was an appropriate venue for Father's Day lunch. (My children enjoy sushi and opted to take Daddy for a sushi lunch). The waitress was very accommodating and very kind to the kids. We were made to feel very welcome and the ambiance of the restaurant made this a slightly special lunch. The food was lovely with the children getting to try some different sushi options. Everything was presented beautifully too. Thank you Ichi Sushi and Sashimi Bar we will visit again.

Aufgrund zahlreicher positiver Rezensionen hatten wir heute spontan einen Tisch reserviert. Wir wurden freundlich empfangen und sofort an einen Tisch geführt. Die Drehstühle mit beigen Polstern wirken etwas abgeliebt, der Stuhl meiner Frau kippelte und ließ sich nicht mehr drehen.. Aber egal.. Wir bestellten Miso Suppen, Sashimi Salat, verschiedene Rolls und die große Sashimiplatte. Die Suppe war ganz o.k., der Salat reichlich mit Lachs bestückt, etwas zu scharf vielleicht, aber schmackhaft. Die Rollen mit gerösteter Ente und Rind, mit Avocado, die California waren allesamt fade, was nur mit reichlich Sojasoße zu übertünchen war.. Insgesamt mittelmäßig.. Kaum hatten wir aufgegessen, folgte ohne Nachfrage der nächste Gang, was insgesamt etwas hektisch wirkte.. Überhaupt wurde es in dem Restaurant immer unruhiger und lauter.. Keine gepflegte Atmosphäre eines gehobenen Sushirestaurants.. Die eigentliche Enttäuschung war jedoch die gemische Sashimiplatte, welche wohl schon weit vor dem vorletzten Gang zubereitet wurde.. In Bergen von geraspelten Krautsalat versteckten sich auf einer großen Platte 12? Sashimihappen.. Allesamt matt angetrocknet und lieblos zwischen Weinblättern und Salat verstreut.. Nichts für das Auge, nichts für den Gaumen..Auf den Nachtisch haben wir dann lieber verzichtet..

I can’t recall how many times I have visited this restaurant for the last decade!

We had lovely sashimi, tempura prawns, and sushi here. The service was excellent, and the freshness of the fish could not be beaten! Highlight might have been the Ichi mojitos, or the fresh wasabi, or the tuna sashimi, but the beef tataki gets a mention here as well.

The selection of sushi and sashimi on offer was lovely, can be quite expensive if you order a few dishes especially as a family, unless your child likes sushi, there isn’t much on the menu to substitute apart from maybe the Katsu chicken salad, but the selection was plentiful and we were very full by the end of our meal, staff were friendly and attentive.

Was the only sushi place I could find around the area and I was very happy. I was badly craving but I can say it was good.

Pre-theatre light dinner with my elderly mother and gluten-intolerant sister - Sushi, should have been just the ticket! Despite there being only one other table occupied, we were, strangely, seated right next to them, at a corner table. The couple at the other table began heavy petting and discussing, loudly and in detail, their appreciation of each other’s bodily parts. Whilst the nature of their conversation is of no fault of the restaurant, I would have expected the staff to have intervened at the point of dry-humping! The sushi was unpleasantly chewy and apparently not gluten free, due to the unnecessary addition of non g/f soy sauce to the rice, although they do offer g/f soy at the table! Just wasn’t our night. On the other hand I can nighly recommend “Witness for the Prosecution” staged within the old council chamber at County Hall.

Really good food but a bit expensive. It is situated inside of the hotel so can feel daunting if you casually going to eat there.

Altough we had sushi late, it was really good and well presented. The venue is really nice and elegant. Kind staff and cosy atmosphere. Highly recommended.
