Sticks'n'Sushi - Canary Wharf in Tower Hamlets

Our favourite restaurant. We've eaten here over 30 times and the food is always fantastic. Had our first ever issue with one dish today and it was replaced immediately and we were given a free desert. Excellent customer service, many restaurants could learn a lot from this approach. We'll be back many more times!

Last night, I had the pleasure of dining at Sricks'n'Sushi with my friends, and I must say, it was an unforgettable experience. Every dish we ordered was absolutely delightful – full of flavor and beautifully presented. The variety on the menu catered to all our preferences, making it hard to choose just one favorite. The service, however, was the highlight of the evening. Antonio went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful time. He was attentive, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly, adding a personal touch to the entire experience. If you're looking for a place with exceptional food and top-notch service, I highly recommend it!!

Amazing food as always. Leonora was so great to talk with! We love the tartare here and the hot sake. Such a beautiful place and always the right vibe. Can’t wait to see you all again!

It was the best spot for my birthday dinner date

We had a wonderful experience in Canary Wharf. Your staff are exceptional and truly bring the place to life. The service is attentive, well-organised, and highly knowledgeable. The wine list is excellent—we thoroughly enjoyed a bottle of white wine and some sake. The food was absolutely delicious, with incredible presentation, including exceptional tableside service. Both waiters were extremely knowledgeable, taking the time to explain each dish in detail—well done! The desserts were simply stunning—impressive in every way. We would 100% recommend this place. While it is a bit on the pricey side, the experience is absolutely worth it!

Sushi was okay, nice they could swap out the avocado for cucumber, just wish there was more meat options to cater to more people.

Food has never let me down! Always consistent in the way it taste and makes me always want to come back. I had the best waitress today called Ren, she knows the whole menu like the back of her hand and always was making sure we was alright. Made the experience 10x better without a doubt. BIG UP REN!!!!

Good meal and restaurant. Can't fault the service but was a bit too bright in the restaurant. Having been to other Sticks n Sushis, the ambience is better elsewhere.

I had a great experience yesterday night at Sticks n Sushi. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Canary Wharf Sticks and Sushi is by far the best of the chain in London! I’ve been over 20 times and the sushi is consistently incredible and the service is extremely fast. My favorites are the salmon sashimi and nigiri, the hells kitchen roll, black cod stick and duck stick.

Big fan of Sticks'n'Sushi generally, although my last visit to a different branch had slightly underwhelmed. However, this was 5* - great, quick and friendly service to complement excellent food. The Ebi bites, Chicken kaarage and Brocolli are all top notch starters. In terms of sushi, you can't really go wrong with any - the NY Subway kaburimaki is my personal favourite. About £50pp will definitely fill you up. Already looking forward to my next visit!

Wasn’t happy with table that we sat at as it was next to a dirty wall covered in food splashes. Also my plate was chipped which is not very nice, to eat from a damaged plate! Don’t think I will come back.

One of the best dinner I never had! :) the food was amazing , but what surprised me the most is the service of Antonio & Rachel they let me feel more than just a guest . I’ll be back soon and a huge thanks to all the team anyway for the hard work and the huge smile .

Very, very good food, but the sushi is generally much better than the sticks if you’re choosing your own menu. We chose one of the set menus which was still excellent as it is delivered in multiple courses, giving you the time to enjoy each set of dishes without rushing. The wine selection is also fantastic - the Sancerre was super with all of the dishes we chose, with the carpaccio plates and karagi chicken being particularly outstanding.

They execute everything very well. With vegan options looking just as delicious as anything else. They add their own unique take on everything from the simple to the complex. Slightly pricy but the service and presentation is also included in the price.

Amazing sushi food and options. Very delicious and well presented food! amazing cocktail with Japanese whiskey! The server was very helpful and offered help when deciding menu options and cocktails. Ordered a plethora of dishes which was bursting with flavour and tantalising to the taste buds! The sushi sticks were amazing! I would definitely come back and highly recommend!

Environment is nice, staffs are very helpful and professional. However, the food is not worth throwing money. Cost £50/pp The food is not as like as in the brochure. Little portion. Not even feeling full. Sushi not wrap very well. The worst is the skewers. Tasted like microwaved frozen meat. Not fresh at all.

Dined at Sticks n Sushi Canary Wharf (and Greenwich) at least 20 times. Always 5 star service every single time. The food is tasty, fresh and beautifully presented. Lots of variety and the kids' bento boxes are delicious. Staff are always welcoming and attentive. My favourite restaurant in the whole world and worth the 30-mile drive.

Great day out for a birthday, catered to our avocado allergy, which for a sushi place must be a nightmare, but nonetheless they had plenty of ideas of what to eat and how to remove avocados from some of their sushi - staff were great and constantly told us there were no avocados in the dishes which was very reassuring considering multiple staff members confirmed it without us telling them.

Website for order have me an error and they won't take orders of the phone for a pickup... Sums up the priority and service. Found another way to order (direct on their website) and even their search on the s&s website is broken.

Good restaurant, good quality sushi . Service became slow once the food had been served, waited a while for more drinks and bill but overall good meal

£155.02 later kicked out of our table .. no time to digest, enjoy my dinner and not even time for deserts resulting to get my food to take away. Taking observation the couple next to me came before and was still having drinks when we was told our table time was up…. How does this work??Front of house extremely rude and arrogant… disappointingly staff always asked and fuelling me with “ would you like another drink??” Then don’t ask if I would like to order more which adds to the time of table also not taking into consideration food arrives not as quickly as anticipated. Food is 10/10 but..having a premium business in jubilee place mall of my own customers service is key and essential if front of house acted in that manor in my establishment in this way it would have been a warning or a dismissal and not acceptable, Disappointing and disgraceful. Last minute booking as we were in the area and wow what a find. Service was excellent and the food absolutely delicious. Will try the branch in Covent Garden next time we visit London.

Found this place with a quick google search and stopped in on our way back to our hotel. Thankfully we got there before the rush of the evening and were told we’d probably not have had a table had we come even an hour later. They weren’t wrong - the placed was almost full by the time we left. The service was awesome, the sushi was fresh and delicious. We stayed across the river at the Hilton Docklands Riverside and this was a short walk from the ferry drop off location at Canary Wharf

I love coming to Sticks'n'Sushi and have admittedly become a bit of a regular now. Great food, great service, I would highly recommend "The Perfect Day" on their menu, perfect for two (the Jasmine Tea is lovely too!).

We had an excellent experience with Desmond's service during our visit! From the moment we arrived, Desmond was welcoming and made us feel right at home. His attentiveness throughout our meal was impressive; he checked up on us regularly, ensuring everything was to our satisfaction. His friendly demeanor and professional attitude added a lot to our overall enjoyment. One of the best Stick and Sushi branches is the one in Canary Wharf. I love the atmosphere day and night. You can never go wrong with any dish that you order. Staff are cheerful, helpful and welcoming.

The food choice and quality was marvelous. I found the service terrific. I could do without the yelling of namaste every time a new customer walked into the restaurant. Other than that, an enjoyable meal.

Amazing experience!!! I went there with my boyfriend for national girlfriend's day and everything was on point. The customer service was amazing and the waiters were so happy and positive - there was this lady who was so light hearted and genuine the whole time we were there. The food matched the price quite well, I ordered 8 slices of sushi for £13 and it filled me up so much. The salmon was really good as well. Lastly, the atmosphere was so cozy and romantic - I remember that there was a monkey figure hanging on one of the lamps, it was quite funny and wholesome. 5 stars no doubt. Such an amazing experience😊💕

I have dined at this restaurant a number of times and have always found the food excellent. For the first time, I brought my son with me who has number of food allergies. The allergen menu is the best we have ever seen - as they highlight allergens where the dishes can easily be adapted to remove that item. We were severed by Nik who immediately made my son feel at ease and confident that he could actually enjoy our food without any allergy problems. Brilliant service and food thanks to Nik! We will definitely be back

So disappointed - used to be amazing but has gone really downhill. S&S was always one of my favourite sushi spots for affordable but good quality sushi, but this seems to have really changed for the worse. We went with our newborn for lunch to celebrate - I ordered the hibiscus margarita and my husband had a passion martini. My marg was vile and I didn't drink any of it - the server wouldn't know though as we were never asked about any of our food/drink/experience and so I didn't have anything to drink. The martini was drinkable but not great - definitely not worth the price. The food, including hot food, came out in UNDER 5 minutes of ordering, which explains why it was dry and not very good. The sushi was OK but the quality of ingredients has definitely dropped.

The food was awesome😊 You have a large selection of different sushi variations. As the name suggests, they also have small grill sticks with meat and fish that you can order. I drank a very tasty Genmaicha there. I particularly liked the pictures on the walls as they captured the theme of the Wharft. But the service was also very good. They made recommendations, suggested food ideas, but there was never too much of it.

The food was really good and the fish tasted super fresh, the sharing platters are a great options, rolls and carpaccios are also really good! 10/10

An interesting, yet exciting combination of Japanese and Danish cuisines - overall, we were satisfied with the experience at S’n’S Canary Wharf. Decent price to value ratio, good service, and tasty rolls. The Volcano with matcha desert is definitely worth trying as well - by registering in their app, your first portion is free. The inside area is quite hot and loud though, especially on weekends, whilst the number of tables outside the venue is limited.

I can recommend the maki maki sushi plater. Quality of sticks is not consistent. The best ones were the ones with scallops and bacon. The others were good but not top. Good cocktails. Update: still excellent cocktails, great makis, and fantastic tartares (sushi sister 5/5)

The staff is very friendly and helpful. They will ask you about possible allergies and react accordingly with suggestions that are suitable for you. Accessibility is guaranteed.

We did the ‘Carpe Diem’ menu and really enjoyed it, albeit that may have been a smidge too much food for two people! Our waitress was absolutely wonderful and added to the positive experience we had there! Some photos attached, forgot to snap everything. All in all this was good value, considering we also had cocktails!

Heard about Sticks n’ Sushi in Canary Wharf and it didn’t disappoint. The food is amazing and the variety of fish was great. We had the "as good as it gets" menu for lunch, and it was fantastic. The sushi rolls were fresh, and the skewers were tasty. We’ll definitely be coming back for more. Highly recommend!

Fantastic venue and incredible staff. We came in with our baby, but Melody made sure we had everything we needed (which was a lot). She really looked after us and made sure we were happy at all times. The food was excellent, too. As always.

Took the daughter and her boss to s n s, and the boss was very overwhelming at how delicious 😋 the food was as well as a great ambience. We chose a platter for 3x people sharing, and we still didn't finish it all. I had the sourdough ice cream 🍦! This blew my mind! I loved it. Especially as I thought I wouldn't finish it! Calorie deficit out the window, haha!! We chose this place as a last-minute dot com, and it worked out very well. The meal still came to over £200.00 but it was worth it. The service has gone downhill in this branch. We were sat at a corner, waiters and waitresses went back and forth serving the table next to us without their eyes down. They did not even bother to look to see if other tables need their service. I had to literally walk to the bar and front desk and few times to order and ask them to send someone to help us. Absolutely appalling.

My boyfriend introduced me to this restaurant because he knows that I love Asian food and I was served it. I loved everything from the starter to the main course! I took my husband to Sticks n Sushi. He is very anti sushi and with the help of our amazing waitress Ana, we converted him! Ana was great at helping us choose delicious dishes and made the experience great. Delighted to say that we will be regulars
