Wagamama - Tower Hill in Tower Hamlets

This was my first time trying the chain Wagamama, and I can tell that it won’t certainly be the last time :). After walking through a rainy and windy London all you need is a flavorful hot meal and the noodles did it for me! Extra note: *Alert warning for my señora side kicking in!* Their takeaway boxes are really good quality, I will get to give it some use before throwing it out pahah Thank you, Wagamama! 🍴

Great restaurant, excellent quality, we enjoyed the curry dishes, especially the firecracker. For dessert, the cheesecake is also very good.

Wagamama is always a good option for a quick meal. It has lost its IT-Days and it shows. It remains a good option.

A superb location overlooking the Tower of London and Tower Bridge!! We had a window seat. Quick and friendly service. We highly recommend the duck rice bowl and prawn firecracker dishes. The food preparation and flavours are a delight to the palate - compliments to Friday's chef :)

Japanese restaurant if you love small plates this is your spot. They have everything you could dream of on the menu. Service is quick and professional. I just sat there and ate until wax started squirting from my ears. food has flavor and is delish. Definitely stop by if you're in the area. I recommend this establishment.

Great location. Amazing food. Fabulous service. I do my best to support local businesses instead of chains, but these guys always deliver consistently all around! I'm gluten free vegan and only have a few options, but I always feel safe ordering with my dietary restrictions. I just wish they had more gf vg options. Highly recommend!

Vegan Pad Thai fue la peor comida que he tenido en cualquier parte del Reino Unido. Tofu duro, sobrecocido, insípido como cuero viejo grasiento, apenas adornos, apenas un maní encima, fideos aceitosos. Tenía dolor de estómago después de comer solo unos bocados... y todo por 13 libras. 80 ! ! ! ! ! ! ! ! 'NUEVA receta' es obviamente mucho más barato para usted hacer que la vieja receta, así que ahora palmear a la gente con la comida solo apto para el cubo

If you are a Korean and think of soup, don't go... . We can't think of that ramen restaurant we know. I ordered Dantanmen, and the ramen came with a combination of spicy and all kinds of flavors to suit British tastes;;;; Never, ever, never go!!!!

We were there for lunch, and the food was good to the price👌 We enjoyed it wary much. Our waiter, Erika, was smiling and attentive. We ordered 3 main courses, two coke and one water and with SC it enden in 73£

Those who called this ‘ramen’ probably have never had a real ramen. Plain hard boiled egg, horrible mushy noodles, flavourless soup, overcooked chicken breast. I asked for extra spicy and it’s still tasteless….its so bad that I can’t have more than two bites of the noodles..

Food was served fast, was really good too. The server Rayhan made sure to accommodate me when I had realised I ordered the wrong thing, and even gave me a discount! Love the service here.

Having encouraged us to use the app to pay (and harvest all our data), we were confronted on the way out by an angry waitress claiming the bill wasn't settled. Despite us showing her the page where it clearly stated we had all paid she continued to shove a machine in front of our faces demanding additional money. Eventually the payment showed up on their side and they let us leave, but extremely unhappy with how we were treated when it was obvious the bill was settled.

Amazing food as always! Gaspar and the team here are great! We visit usually at lunch time needing a quick turn around to fuel us for the afternoon. The food is always, fresh, served fast and tastes delicious. Exactly what we need to accommodate our busy days! We will be back toon Gaspar and the new menu is super!!! :)

All was nice But it became Very Expensive for a fast food restaurant. £62 for 3 people.

Completely in line with other restaurants in the chain. The setting is a little too canteen-like but this is compensated by the very prestigious location. Pretty good food, generous portions and quick service.

This has to be hands down the worst ramen I’ve ordered in my life. The dish lacked flavor and the noodles were over cooked. Save your money and go somewhere else.

It’s Not ethnic Asian food. Free green tea small cup was nice but some dumplings gyoza was pre made and just warmed up . Service was just average not too busy on Friday night .

I had a great experience at this branch. The service was really friendly and quick. I ordered several dishes including the chili squid, ebi katsu, steak teriyaki soba, and the chicken & prawn pad Thai, and they were all delicious. They serve a number of drinks here. I especially enjoyed the mindful iced matcha and the strawberry latte, and appreciated that they served green tea for free.

Good tasty food, helpful staff giving advice on the spiciness of the dishes, plenty of room when we visited, sat on long tables. Would have been more stars but to be charged £5-00 for a bottle of tap water was rather expensive, be warned. Won't be going back.

Had a great experience dining here. We were greeted by a young lady shame I did not get her name, and we requested to sit by the window as it was not busy when we came. She immediately reset the table as it was used previously. The waiter named Rayhan patiently took our order because there is a lot of good selection on the menu. I was actually surprise that it is not only Japanese food but also Thai as I tried their Pad Thai with chicken and prawn. It's delicious and just the right amount. The waiter approached us again and asked if everything was fine and if we were enjoying our food. We said yes, and he smiled and left us to enjoy our meal. There is no rush on clearing the plate when we finished, and he came back to ask if we are. We been asked if we would like to have some dessert, but because I am already full, I politely said no, but I was really tempted to order a nice cheesecake. I highly recommend it as it is an easy place to go by when we are visiting Tower Bridge.

Really good yaki soba and really friendly service. It was our waitress's first day and though I forgot her name she was really nice and did an awesome job and thought you guys should know that. Very pleasant place to go to for my last day in London. Will def come back next time I'm in the city.

Lovely restaurant with a good offer of Japanese cuisine, good portions, I recommend the chili squid so tasty, similar to “calamari fritti” for Italians. I would have preferred a single table rather than share a long table as it was very noisy and loud.

Don’t come here. It’s a scam. thought it was Wagamama how bad could it be. Well, it was shockingly bad. it’s no way close to any other Wagamama I visited before. Food is horrible. Noodle is super overcooked like meshed potato mixed with water. We also ordered a soup which tasted like it was in a fridge for two days. I’d give 0 star if I could.

Busy amd bustling as all Waga’s. If you havent tried Waga just try it out. Asian soups and noodles. Quality is fine with no surprises. Courses are served as they are made so dont expect your meals to arrive simultaneously. Price is good and waiters were great

Food ok, very dry considering teriyaki sauce should have been part of dish. Never had a fork thrown across table at me before. Neither have I had anyone ask how the food is when nearly finished. Started explaining it was very dry while they walked off. Love Wagamama normally but this is the worst I have visited. Customer service abrupt/absent. Felt like we were an inconvenience. Sort yourselves out Wagamama, this franchise doing you no favours!

After a morning at the Tower of London, my family was hungry. I really wanted to like this place. Unfortunately I was disappointed by both the food and service. The ramen (both the pork and beef) were underwhelming. The meat was dry and lacked flavor. My poached egg was cold - even after spending about 5 minutes in the broth. The broth was uninspired. Our server, Deepak, was only seen twice. Once when we ordered and again when we were ready to leave. No one came to check if everything was ok or to refill waters despite 4 empty glasses.

Après avoir découvert le Wagamama de Tower Hill, nous y sommes allés 4 fois. À chaque fois, nous y avons été très bien reçus, en particulier par une jeune femme souriante, compétente et d’une très grande gentillesse. Elle était un vrai rayon de soleil. Ce restaurant est conçu pour accueillir beaucoup de monde et le midi, en semaine, il se remplit très vite avec notamment les employés des bureaux avoisinants. Si vous êtes sensible au bruit, il vaut mieux prévoir d’aller dans ce très bon restaurant en dehors de l’heure de pointe du midi pendant la semaine. Nous sommes végétariens et nous aimons la cuisine asiatique. Nous avons donc été ravis de découvrir ce restaurant à quelques pas de notre hôtel. Les prix y sont tout à fait corrects et la nourriture est bonne. Nous avons beaucoup aimé le vegatsu. Il existe aussi le hot vegatsu mais attention au piment car le vegatsu est déjà très épicé. Le kimchi végétarien et les asian pickles sont délicieux. Deux desserts sont tout à fait exceptionnels : le miso caramel ice cream et le juice sorbet. Le miso caramel ice cream ne contient pas de produits laitiers. Il se digère extrêmement bien et son goût est incroyablement bon. Le juice sorbet que nous avons mangé comprenait une boule de sorbet au fruit de la passion et une boule aux épinards. Ce dessert glacé est également d’une qualité exceptionnelle. Nous sommes restés très impressionnés par la qualité de ces glaces. Les Londoniens ont beaucoup de chance d’avoir des restaurants Wagamama près de chez eux. Nous ne connaissons pas les autres restaurants de cette chaîne mais nous gardons un excellent souvenir de celui de Tower Hill. Nous y retournerons dans un an et nous espérons revoir la jeune femme qui nous servait et qui a si chaleureusement souhaité nous revoir l’année prochaine.

This was the Pat Thai ordered. The dish looked pale, no taste, 4 prawns with fewer shredded chicken meat. Big chunks of spring onions. How awful!

I'm obsessed with Wagamama! It's one of my favourite takeaway options in the area. I love the care they take with the packaging and the quality of the food, even for takeaway. Usually, standards drop with takeaway, but that's not the case here. They have tons of vegan options, which is always a plus for me. The Crispy Chilli Oyster Mushrooms as a side are superb. I highly recommend them. They're crispy and delicious. The Yasai Vegetable Gyoza are also nice, but average. A portion comes with 5 gyoza, which is a good deal. The Tofu Hot Pot was a good-sized portion and super tasty. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu, especially the Mushroom Bao Buns!

Clean, very good (spicy) food. Attentive and helpful staff. Payment online via QR CODE on the table set and table number. Unfortunately, you sit on benches without backrests, which makes it a bit “uncomfortable”. Prices fair.

Food depending on dish is hit and miss. Every time I go either me or my friends are served first and the rest of us have to wait a long time to be served.

If you have any allergy , bare in mind it will take a while till they take the order. Our server has told us that the manager will take the order but we didn't know it can take more than 10-15 minutes just to take the order and then they served all our food separately so by the time my friend got her food , my food got cold on the table ( as it's not nice to start eating while still waiting for the other person's food). We have been to Wagamama multiple times previously however the service in some locations just not really reaching the great customer service level. I am more than happy to provide further information on what could be worked on so feel free to reach out. Otherwise food was good, drinks were really nice , it is also a great location for those who need wheelchair access as they have a lift. Manager was friendly and professional ( the tall lady with long dark hair )

We went there for a nice lunch, on approaching inside the waiters have very bad attitude and racist behaviour and is categorising people. They don’t give proper time to listen to your order nor help in getting the order right. I personally recommend everyone not to visit this place.

Ten years ago we dined at Wagamama in Tower Hill and we had great memories. A few days ago we were able to repeat as a family and we were not disappointed at all. The place is in a perfect area if you visit the Tower of London, London Bridge or the Sky Garden. It's big and there's always room. The waiters are fast and effective and the food is delicious, very authentic and with generous portions. More than recommended option!!

Food was eatable but they asked us to pay online via an application. After authorising the payment they came with the POS and mentioning that it dis not go, we had to pay again. As a forigner one has no guarrantee that it has not been double charged. Better aayung from the beginning that the bill can be apid both by application as well as by card

Rayham was very helpful in choosing food and drinks. We came in a group of 10 and he took the time to help each and one of us to decide and recommended us different types of dishes. Genuinely a lovely guy and was super helpful. Would definitely come back.

Great service and a very convenient location, however the food was actively not good. What I ordered was the Chicken Gyoza Ramen and King Oyster Mushroom skewer. Not sure what was served but it's certainly not ramen. - Egg was cold. - Pan seared gyoza should NEVER be served in the broth, it should be served separately to retain its crispiness. - Not sure what broth was used, but it's not anything remotely similar to either bone broth or shoyu broth. - Not actual ramen noodles, I suspect it was buckwheat soba noodles, which meant the noodles became very mushy very quickly - Bokchoy was undercooked, and cold when it arrived. - King Mushroom Skewer had way too much sauce, that was also burnt during the cooking process, which ended up being blackened and bitter in some parts. Not sure what weird fusion food was served, but it's certainly not anything remotely close to authentic ramen.
