The best restaurants serving Japanese food in London

So if you're a fan of Japanese food and culture, this is the place for you. It's a kind of Japanese supermarket, but it also offers a very large selection of food to go or to eat in. There are also many other Japanese products, such as magazines, decorations, and more.

Staff are nice enough, not an exceptional experience. Food wasn’t bad, but again, having visited several other locations it was just okay. The main issue is the restaurant itself - it’s dated and it’s very dull. Overall wouldn’t recommend

This is a quiet hidden sushi place in south quays. Relatively near the south quays station. The restaurant is small but walk-in is fine. It is reasonably priced and there is a wide variety of food options on the menu. The sashimi is of mediocre quality and there isn't a salmon sashimi roll on the menu. I would come back again if I was heading that way as it is out of the way.

Old tall white man with glasses just threw my food to the counter. It spilled my food. Extremely rude

We had a really good time, the venue felt safe with good amendments for social distancing. The food was good too. Not cheap but good value

everything in the restaurant was awesome and the waiters are nice and friendly especially brian and the manager

The food was delicious and very fresh. We ordered the Ichi Boat Deluxe, which was beautifully presented and full of flavour. The atmosphere was lovely — quite intimate, with a beautiful view. Our server was excellent — she was attentive and gave us great advice. We’re really looking forward to coming back!

First of all thank you so much from the bottom of my heart for existing on planet earth Second of all thank you even harder for the Tofu Miso Ramen Cannot find proper words to describe this soup, but I will try anyway: spectacular, delicious, phenomenal, life-changing… I’m not religious but I’m sure each of them would classify this Miso Ramen as sinful, because it is not possible to just experience something so good and not get consequences afterwards I wish every single person who works there to always have a seat in a bus, for their pillow to be always nicely cold, to get a green light every time they’re late and for their phones to never fall down on their face while laying down on back

We went for Japanese afternoon tea. The food was excellent, with so many delicious little dishes, both savoury and sweet. The Japanese black tea was lovely and so was the matcha tea to finish. The service was very good and they were very attentive. Highly recommended. We will be back for more.

stumbled across this unassuming little place on a night out, group of four, had some shared appetisers and some great authentic Japanese food, would totally recommend and the price was great, very surprising. amazing

Yo y mi novia encantadora nos sorprendió encontrar este increíble restaurante tan vacío en un martes por la noche. Nos complacemos con dos entrantes y dos principales. Las Gyoza’s eran la cantidad correcta de crujiente y sabor. El katsu era sublime, quizás podría tener más salsa. El budae jjigae te volará los calcetines tan fuerte que pensarás que una granada ha detonado debajo de tus pies. 10 / 10 recomendaría, factura llegó a apenas £ 50 con cervezas involucradas también. Hagamos que este lugar esté ocupado porque se lo merece.

La comida era lo suficientemente decente, pero el ambiente era cero. El camarero se preocupaba más por las órdenes de entrega que por los comensales, por lo que era difícil llamar su atención, a pesar de que el restaurante no estaba tan ocupado. No podía tomar el cóctel bellini que quería y me dijeron sin rodeos que no había melocotones. De unos siete artículos en el menú de postres, solo uno estaba disponible. ¡Y la música era atroz!

Hidden gem. Great food with very friendly service. I used to work around the corner from here for years and annoyed I never knew about it until now. Food was excellent and great value. Interesting interior and service excellent. Would recommend the sushi boat - all fish was incredibly fresh and tasty. Will definitely be back.
