BELOW REVIEW WAS WRITTEN A COUPLE OF YEARS AGO AT 4/5 STARS HOWEVER WHILST I STILL ORDER FROM HERE. THE RATING HAS CHANGED TO 3/5. A lot of sushi I have ordered recently has been crammed into the box with no care pieces falling apart delivery times are now very long (before it was around 30-40mins, now it can be over an hour no matter what time you order). The service stands are severely falling. Salmon box was very good, thought the prices were ok - for good sushi it does cost a lot esp outside of Japan that is normal. The stir-fry prawn soba though wasn't really a fan. Very overcooked.

I’ve been ordering takeaway for years .. it’s been one of my best local takeaways . But in the last 2 weeks they changed the chicken to a more horrible version which is thick and chewy. I’m now holding off the takeaways until they change it back to how it was before .

Best Japanese food i've had! So much more flavourful and cheaper than other popular brands. My favourite items are their stir fry and fried rice. The bento boxes are also great value!

Always tasty, good service and reliable. If you order from the website the delivery is free. The prices are decent for a sushi place. It is my go to place for ordering sushi for takeaway.

As a regular customer I'm really disappointed as I've got food poisoning after ordering from you (through Uber eats). This is the second time . Frist time I thought it might have been something else what I ate but now I know it is the RIN food. (Sushi, Chicken katsu, chicken teriyaki ... Really disappointed, spent lot of money and in exchange the food I've got was not safe to eat! I will not order again and I would advise others to avoid it too!

Ihave ordered on uber for delivery and i received very bad quality of food! I have payed enough money for my order but i need to throw all in the bin becouse of the quality of the food i would not recomand this restaurant! Bad experience!

Horrific experience! Got food poisoning from the sushi 🍣😵‍💫😵🤢 Stay clear !!!

Usually very good but arrival / delay times are veritable. Prawns in tempura are half the size and one fewer than they used to be and this time all hot food arrived cold. ? Due to being 50 mins after agreed delivery time and 1.5 hrs after order. Quality of sushi and sashimi was excellent. My request to exclude chopsticks and soy sauce was again ignored (I have plenty)

The premium salmon sushi box is my favourite and the chicken katsu was really comforting.

Food is delicious, never fails! Have been eating from there a while now and we know we'll get quality food all the time. George is an absolute legend - amazing customer service and does everything with a smile. Would definitely recommend!

Love this place unfortunately they don't deliver to me as I'm just outside there delivery range . But I am quite happy to pick up food. Which is always great.

Ordered from Deliveroo last night, food turned up loose and all over the bag. Called the restaurant as had a problem getting through to Deliveroo, they were utterly uninterested, couldn't care less and rude. Have previously ordered from them on a number of occasions and it was always good but this time their attitude could not have been worse.

Dear Rin Sushi, I am posting these images to remind you how incredible your sushi *was* not so long ago. The pieces were incredibly fresh, juicy and foremost, generous. Quite unfortunately, my last week's order was a disaster. Though sashimi was still good, the rolls shrank in size, significantly. The portion that used to fit in two boxes was now put in one with a tiny bit of marinated ginger and wasabi. This is not how you should be treating your loyal customers. I am sure people are happy to pay a couple of pounds more but get what they used to get. I hate to say that I am not going to rush my next order, sadly. Thanks, Maggie

Dear Rin Sushi, What a disappointment of my last order. I usually order my 'go to' salmon sashimi, salmon and tuna nigiris and inside out rolls (anything with tuna and salmon). The pieces are usually very generous, incredibly fresh and juicy. I can never complain about that. Therefore, after trying many restaurants, I have given you my loyalty. Nevertheless, quite sadly, in my last order, the rolls shrank in size and there was hardly any fish noticable in them. If you want to keep your customers happy or keep them, full stop, please, do not lower the quality of your food. I am sure people are happy to pay a couple of pounds more for amazing quality as the opposite of being deceived with the reduced in size sushi. Not okay! Thank you, Maggie

Very reasonable prices! Food was done on time 😊 the guy behind the till was really lovely, as I was a bit late collecting my food he kindly made more some more tempura as theyre better fresh, and oh damn were they good! I will be back! 😊

Food is always delicious. Personally think Rin Sushi does the best Katsu Curry! Good portion sizes for the price. Once made an order before they closed and the restaurant nicely accommodated and delivered my food beyond their hours of operation! Definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone.

This is my favourite sushi place! We have ordered from Rin Sushi several times and they have never disappointed. The sushi is always fresh and tasty. I am obsessed with the chicken ramen, it’s a must try for when you need that comfort during winter.

Ordered a Katsu curry unfortunately the Katsu curry sauce didn’t arrive. Rather disappointing especially after the wait since it’s the main thing that makes the meal good. I have basically paid £7.70 + delivery for plain rice and fried chicken.

I rang them to ask why the delivery takes so long an the men on the phone didn’t even speak with me, he keep telling me sorry. I repeat my name 5 times, and the adress anither five times

Stole my money and never sent me any food. I called several times after 1.5 hours of waiting and kept being told that the driver is near. No food delivered 2 hours after the order. And a very rude man on the phone who seemed to keep fibbing about the food being enroute. Awful experience. Left angry and hungry. Avoid this place at all costs.

It was our first time ever ordering from this restaurant for home delivery and we were impressed with the quality of the sushi, the service and the speed of delivery. The sushi was fresh and very tasty, all the ingredients were of high quality, the miso soup was delicious and creamy with large chunks of tofu and the mochi ice cream amazing. Thank you. Over the years I've eaten in several sushi restaurants, both in the UK and USA, and I have to say that the meals we've had from Rin Sushi, all deliveries, were amongst the best I've had. This place is going on my 'favourite restaurants' list.

First order and will not be my last. Very long time since I had good tomago! It was wonderful! Excellent texture. The fried rice dishes must be tried. Chicken fried rice made with delicious chicken that isn't your run of the mill aneamic looking chicken you get from other take outs. It was flavorful dark and white meat! and a wonderful mix of vegetables. Don't get via deliveroo though. Driver handed my bag over sideways and spilled my food :")

It's amazing worth every money.

I ordered online from here for the first time and it was quick and easy. I ordered quite a large selection of dishes and it exceeded my expectations; definitely better than a lot of other Japanese restaurants such as wasabi. The portion sizes were large and the food was very flavourful. The food is also halal which is hard to find in many other Japanese restaurants. The customer service was amazing from when I asked questions on the phone to when it was delivered. The staff were friendly and answered all my questions. It is quite pricey however that is to be expected and the large portion sizes made up for it will definitely be ordering from there again. Amazing experience overall.

I try not to leave negative reviews but I must say that this order was particularly appalling. When we first took the order out of the bag there was a pungent smell, which should have been the warning sign!! We got sushi, bao and a katsu curry and not a single item we got was fresh. The fish was tasteless, the chicken was grey and rancid and the bao was completely drenched so you couldn’t pick it up. The chicken in the bao was inedible, looking at it it was all one piece badly chopped, very grey and looked like it had been chewed by a dog. The katsu sauce which I paid 50p extra for was a pot that contained less than 25mls of a sour stickey sauce, nothing like katsu sauce, so different so that I assumed that it was for the sushi and that they had forgotten my katsu sauce! After a small taste the majority of the food went in the bin for fear that it would make us ill. I cannot recommend this restaurant.

This is our go-to place for ordering sushi every other week. It’s fresh and delicious, we especially like the premium salmon sushi box. The portions are always generous. I recommend ordering via their website to get free delivery and discount. The delivery is always fast.

I order food from here all the time and it piping hot, tasting fresh and delicious everytime. The food quality is fantastic. And so many options! Great for vegetarians too! If you have craving for Japanese food and you're on the Harrow area, this is best place you can go. During the pandemic, it's been a real pick me up just to enjoy some good Japanese food! Also my bank account is very thankful for these prices. Well priced, good food. What more could you ask for?

I have made a delivery order through its website today on time for its opening at 5pm. I have waited for an hour and no sign of any food so I've called them up for the first time and asked politely where the food is.The guy who answered the call said its nearly ready and should be with us in half an hour.So its another 30 mins wait for me but still havent received the food.So called for the 2nd time and the guy says it should be with us in 2 mins. Still not here so called for the 3rd time after waiting for 10 mins.This time, very rude attitude saying they are very busy today (okay had to reveal that on the 3rd time calling), saying we are very sorry (obvious from the tone of the voice that they are not) and said we will give you something complimentary next time I order. There will NEVER be a next time for me. I still havent got my food and its 7pm now. I will strongly recommend you to order from elsewhere. NEVER order from here, pricey yet shocking service attitude.

I ordered a takeaway after googling to find out the Japanese restaurants in my area. The tempura was good, generous serving witj loads of vegetables and 3 prawns. The soft shell crab salad was good too. Prices are reasonable.

I received the food and was initially impressed with the noodle dish. When I opened the katsu chicken it was cooked nicely and was expecting good things but the sauces were all the same (not one was katsu) and they all tasted sour which completely ruined the meal. The sauce inside the hand roll ruined that too so ended up only eating the noodle dish and the gyozas with no sauce. Really disappointed 😞

Best sushi takeaway in the area

A small place but very well run and the food was delicious. Very happy to find a good quality sushi restaurant that I don’t have to travel into London for. Recommend the Rainbow roll and Nasu Dengaku. Dragon roll was good too but have had better elsewhere.

A very fair priced authentic Japanese takeaway & delivery in Harrow The man who served me was always smiling and jolly. He gave me free spicy edamame beans and some free doriyaki while i was waiting for my food. I was really grateful for this. The food was good. I really enjoyed the sweet potato and pumpkin katsu, chicken gyoza, duck urumaki and spicy chicken katsu urumaki. I loved the spicy sauce with the chicken katsu sushi and the gyoza sauce. My favourite dish was the okonomiyaki- this was pure heaven! I loved the texture of it. I enjoyed the bao bun too and felt this gave a nice variety to the otherwise predominantly Japanese menu. - i would have liked the takoyaki a bit crispier. - i took away 1 star because you put the soy sauce packets, which were in a "help yourself basket", inside the sushi boxes, and thus in direct contact with the food. The packets could have been touched by any other customer who helped themselves to the soy sauce. As a medical doctor, I would kindly suggest to avoid this and instead advise customers to help themselves to the soy sauce packets, for hygiene purposes. Overall, thank you so much Rin Sushi! I will definitely order again.

I ordered quite a few items yesterday evening first time I ordered from Rin and I must say excellent food! Everything was extremely fresh tasting. Portion size was great too. I highly recommend the katsu sushi! Ah I’m definitely ordering again!!!

For the price we paid, portion was very small and taste below average. I expected high quality providing we paid 29£ for 3 dishes for a takeaway. Good customer service though and friendly staff. Even got a 10% discount but food wasn't up to scratch. Thank you.

Our favourite during the lockdown- absolutely delicious and always consistent, we have ordered many times and have never been let down. Dynamic Chicken is so flavourful so are the Chicken Katsu. Boa buns are melt in the mouth. Highly recommended, hope to visit in person after the lockdown. Not a fish fan so haven’t tried the Sushi/Shashimi but I am sure they will be great too. One can order on Deliveroo or Uber Eats.

Excellent service! Ordered two katsu curries from Uber eats. Come without sauce due to Uber eats not having the correct options. Our fault I suppose. Went too pick up sauces and was given two large sauces free and a extra portion of sushi! I would have happily paid but owner insisted it was on the house. Good food, great service....what more could you ask for 😀

Ordered from here yesterday after reading seeing the high customer rating on both Uber Eats and Google. The food arrived on time, was packed well, looked/smelled/tasted great - not your typical greasy takeout! The dishes I ordered were primarily vegetarian bar one prawn dish, we were very impressed. I will definitely be ordering from here again and will certainly be recommending!

Service and food quality seems to have gone massively downhill since this place first opened, which is a shame because it used to be a reliable favourite. My last order, a couple of weeks ago, was almost 50 minutes late for delivery. The vegetarian noodles were bland, and totally unimpressive. They were cold, and the sushi was warm.

I’ve been ordering rin sushi since the start of lockdown, the food has always been lovely, however the past few times I have ordered it has taken nearly 2 hours for delivery, it says 45 minutes for delivery but I think it’s a bit ridiculous that food takes 2 hours to be delivered when it’s been delivered in 40 minutes previously when I have ordered, it makes me a bit apprehensive on whether it’s worth it to order from them in the future.

1) the order took an hour to arrive and when it came it was not our order. 2) we had ordered for 6 people and the order we received was for one! 3) what we did eat was awful! I would order from anywhere else rather than here.

I been ordering from them 4 times and everything was amazing, really good food, and fast delivery, but tonight my boyfriend ordered, also with deliveroo, as i always did, and the food was disgusting, really bad taste, even the maki rolls. I don't really understand what was the problem or if the food wasn't fresh today, or different chef... The chicken katsu was also bad, and normally it's cut in small pieces to be easy to eat, but tonight the full piece of chicken was cut in 2, and full of fat... Disgusting... I wanted to think that this is my favourite Japanese restaurant in the area, but with the food they sent tonight, I'm very disappointed.

Horrible experience. I wish I could give 0 stars. Had ordered from JustEat and the advertised delivery time was 35-50 minutes. The ACTUAL estimated delivery time was 2 hours 40 minutes later after I had ordered. At this point I was contemplating cancelling but thought whatever I'll let them have it, maybe they are super busy. After the long wait time we get a call from the delivery driver complaining about his job and wanted us to go and find him because he couldn't navigate the roads, didn't know where the address was, couldn't find parking space and other issues he wanted us to solve for him. He WAS NOT apologetic and continued to complain and requesting us to solve his problems for him. YOU HAVE ONE JOB DELIVERY DRIVER. So after a round of trying to help him solve his issues he refused to take any of the solutions like "there is a parking spot there, park there" or "the apartment is right there, go there", he said he would wait 2 more minutes and if we didn't come to collect the food from wherever he was he would leave and go back to the shop. I hung up on this fool immediately and rang the shop. I thought maybe they just have a horrible delivery driver, maybe they'll sort something out. I got on the phone with the shop and they didn't seem to care at all. They did not address any of the rudeness of the driver nor the horrible service given, they asked us to wait EVEN MORE whilst defending the driver's actions and told us that once the driver got back to the shop they would send it again with another driver. And they proceeded to continue to defend the driver saying "he was there waiting for you, you should have gone to collect it". UNACCEPTABLE. Since they offered nothing in terms of recourse after the horrible events, I asked about refund, discount or anything and they responded with "No it's fine, your food will be with you a later, you will still get the food" and refused to give us anything. By the time the food would have reached us they would have made us wait 3 hours 15 minutes. At this point we know that the shop doesn't care at all, they didn't care about what the driver put us through and how rude he was on the phone no matter how much we tried to help, they didn't care about the time we had to wait for the food nor the horrible experience that both the shop and the driver gave us. On top of that, their food wasn't far past mediocre even if it wasn't bone cold. TLDR: Delivery driver picked a random location because he couldn't do his job and threatened to return to the shop (which he did) if we didn't find him and collect it from him. Shop didn't care about ordeal, told us to put up with it, and wait even longer, without giving us any sort of discount or refund. Food was cold. AVOID AT ALL COSTS IF YOU VALUE YOUR SANITY. Response: Unfortunately, unlike your claim, there has been no refund of any amount whatsoever. Not in full, not in half. I received a notification this morning that no refund would be made at all and the tiny pancake was sent "because the food was late" instead. I never claimed the food arrived over 2 hours late. I claimed that the advertised delivery time BEFORE ORDERING was 35-50 minutes, and then once my payment was TAKEN the delivery time suddenly was over 2h 30m later. I ordered at 1830 and the estimate delivery time was 2110. Why was the advertised delivery time 35-50 minutes? Completely misleading. The person who took the phone call DID NOT OFFER ANYTHING in compensation, he denied providing anything and only when the meal arrived, there was additional item "because the food was late", I ended up waiting over 3 hours. Like the phone call, the response you've given below is another guilt-shifting game, with no ounce of sincere apology. You're damage controlling the review page to avoid looking bad in front of other visitors. If you are truly apologetic, you would address all complaints from a customer instead of attempting to defend the actions of your staff. I would even have considered changing the review if you had shown an ounce of empathy for a troubled customer.

Got today first time I ordered Japanese in Harrow. Was surprised to get lovely food delivery. Comparable or better than Japanese in central London. Good portions and fresh authentic. Due to delivery...it was little cold but that wont bother me to order again. Will definitely order again and stock up on pickled ginger, wasabi, and soy. Aarigato
