Best restaurant i have ever been in london

Food no doubt is tasty but disappointing factors were short staffed restaurant leading to poor service and tables being wiped with stinking cloth - god knows if they even wash them. We made the staff aware of these issues and were told that they are extremely short staffed and the owners are not willing to employ more people.

So sad I was there yesterday they was closed. Security guys was around to the restaurant front and back .i was saw the notices front door and back door also They didn’t pay the rent to landlord That’s a why shop was closed not only today maybe continue

Great food… nice balance of spices, however service is very slow. But once nudged food started arriving. For me it took almost 25 mins of waiting

Yesterday evening I visited A2B and had a mixed Xiexperience. The food was hit or miss - the dal was watery, and the bhel chaat didn't meet my expectations. However, the service was top-notch thanks to waitress Zeba. She was attentive, friendly, and ensured we had everything. With kitchen improvements, A2B can be a fantastic dining spot. Keep improving!

We’ve been to Anandabhavan for dinner at 9:45.The restaurant closes at 11.They don’t have sambar, no vada ????Seriously !!! No one gave us the menu for a long time until we asked for it.Waiters are walking up and down but no one looks at the customers.What’s the point of having waiters if they are not gonna tend the customers. Rude and disrespectful.Its not the first time experiencing this.Never gonna come back . Asked for 4 items none available. You guys seriously need to work on a lot of things including hospitality

Adyar Ananda Bhavan … I order food from you the first time through Just Eat. I ordered Masala Dosa, Dahi Papdi Chat & Sambar Idly. Food was really nice but the Sambar (Daal) it was all spilled because the container was broken. I pay the full amount of money & I don’t get my order properly is not nice. Please take extra care with your containers end of the day it’s plastic. Thank You.

We enjoyed a delightful meal as a family, with all four kids loving the crispy plain dosas so much they ordered them again! The chili paneer and gobi Manchurian were both tasty, though the bhel puri was a bit dry. The side condiments with the dosa were especially delicious, definitely better than the competition. It would have been nice if the fresh juice was made with a juicer rather than a blender, but overall, the service was good too.

One of the worst food I ever had, I ordered North Indian thali, the paneer curry was so sweet like it was more sweeter than any sweet/ dessert. The starter was something made of cauliflower which was cold and soggy.

Nice decor but food served was cold…eg Sambar vada felt like taken from fridge and directly served. The North Indian thali items were not that great either. Some highlights were Badam Milk & Mushroom Pepper Fry

Food is ok. Would rather go to Sarvanaa Bhavan for dosa though was better for the North Indian dishes. Floor looked quite dirty and this was at an early dinner so that was a bit off-putting

Not worthy We inform staff to made all spicy but no responses. After 22:30 all staff behaviour was changed. Before that we visit twice we not feel like today it's unacceptable. Now I'm not visiting again.

The service was the worst thing I experienced! Wouldn’t recommend at all. Staff were not bothered about serving the food and I had to ask them couple of times for items that were ordered but weren’t bought to my table. At the end, they didn’t even serve the tea we asked for!

Not worth. Waste of time & money. Really not happy. This is my 9 or 10 th visit. Few times only good. Rest of all bad. Better talk to your chief or replace. Thank you 🙏🏻

Poor and disappointing breakfast... It was advertised as an "unlimited" breakfast... well, kichedi was not available, the buffet was sad and cold and when I requested a second dosa, I was told that dosa was limited to 1 per customer only. Washroom facilities were filthy and that caused me concerns about the place's cleanliness and reputation. Never again... wasted my time and £9.45.

My experience at A2B was fantastic. I celebrated my birthday at this place. All the staff members were so welcoming and fantastic with their services. I am really thankful, and really appreciate the efforts of Ritu and her team to pull off my birthday celebrations very nicely and great.

I had an amazing experience at A2B Restaurant. The highlight of my meal was the Chilly Idli—it was the best idli I’ve ever had! Kudos to Ritu, the manager, for her exceptional leadership. The entire staff was not only efficient but also kept smiling the entire time, which made the atmosphere warm and welcoming. Highly recommended!

I love going to Adyar Anand Bhavan and can't stop praising the authentic South Indian food tatse that this place can offer. However, today I felt sorry for all the staff members who were working so hard to keep the show on. They seemed heavily understaffed but even with that they kept serving with passion. Many customers complained about delayed service, food getting cold while waiting for other dish but it does not reflect anything on the staff members, especially the manager (who peacefully dealt with every single complaint and wasn't shy to step in as waitress when required) and staff member Janvi, who always had a smile on her face when she visited any table. You guys were amazing...keep up the good work. A2B management, please don't let your hardworking staff go through this situation again and again. Put more staff in kitchen and in the serving area especially on weekends. You don't want to loose this fabulous team for cost cutting.

Came to the restaurant at 10:14pm The lady in the front said they are closed .. Why they mention the time as 10:30pm in google if they can’t take customers……. Very poor service…….. Dining in Saravana Bhavan opposite

Food was ok but service can improve. We went on a Sunday evening @7pm We ordered Mini idly and it was not fully soaked and not served hot. We ordered 2 onion rava dosa, they took it to a table , they refused and then it went in.I was delivered to us and it was cold. But the other onion rava dosa was hot and crispy. Quite disappointed though.

Tried Breakfast buffet on a Saturday for 9.5£ was it was worth it. The buffet included unlimited idliy, vada, pongal, kichadi and masala dosa or poori with tea or coffee. Idliy could be more soft but it was good nevertheless. All the dishes were really tasty and had authentic South Indian taste. Definitely recommend this place for vegetarian South Indian cuisine.

I would really appreciate the service provided by nivedha and Aishwarya. They had full knowledge of food which was clearly explained to my North Indian friends and made sure they enjoyed to the fullest. We’ll definitely visit again for them 🤩

Food is 200% better than sharvana vaban and others. Staffs are mannered and well approachable. Very very good. Had an amazing buffet.

It lived upto its brand name. I have had A2B in india and it was one of the best in Chennai. The food tasted good and it would be definitely worth the money. The dosas all tasted crispy and fresh. However, the service could have been a bit better. We had to wait for them to take our order and the staff seem somewhat nonchalant. Would definitely go again for the food.

The north Indian thali had no resemblance to north Indian food.i will not be visiting again.hugely disappointing

Roast service all time know one can listen you in the restorant

The expectation never filled.This place is a complete waste of money and time. Avoid at all costs.

This feedback is to cover couple of instances of our experience. We ordered breakfast, lunch, sweets in the last 2 - 3 weeks and had terrible experience. Firstly, the quality of food seems to have gone down since they opened last year and doesn’t justify the price they are charging. Whereas the nearby South Indian restaurants provide much better quality food and the cost is reasonable. Mainly, when we order take away, the level of quantity A2B provides is so minimal for Sambar and chutneys. For example, despite, calling them and placing a request to provide sufficient Sambar for 3 dosais they provide sambar and chutney in just one normal size container that can be consumed for only one dosai. A2B management, Why do you do this to your customers ? Why can’t you deliver the right level of quantity ? We are not picking money from the trees and you are not giving away free food - why do you treat the customers with this level of generosity when you are charging above the market price ? If you deliver food with quality and the right quantity, happy to pay but you are falling too short !! In addition, the price tags for sweets and snacks are vera level and ridiculous compared to other similar restaurants. Again, happy to pay the price if the quality is good but that isn’t the case. BTW, the sweets are made with way too much sugar which is very alarming tbh. Not nutritious at all and how are these measured or checked in terms of UK food standards ? Your brand has a good history and expecting to deliver right level of food with balanced nutrition and sufficient quantity. I.e not too much and not too less. Hoping to notice some changes in the near future.

Really good to have authentic South Indian cuisine.

A lady who is handling, has a lot of attitude towards others. They take resumes from the students who need a job. They ask for trial for without paying anything during weekends only because of having rush in the restaurant. Even she does not clear anything how many hours of trial or nothing. She just behave rudely like she is something. Even she does not give any answer to anyone if anyone want to ask anything. Then they reject easily after trial. I have a bad experience. When she rejected me after giving trial of 5 hours. I asked her to pay me for 5 hours, she denied and told me this is not in our policy. Then what is your policy? Show your policy that you are taking trial of 5 hours without clearing anything.

Enjoyed food and brilliant service

We went there yesterday for dinner, and we ordered garlic Naan, and they served chilli garlic naan. Also, we ordered paneer manchurian, but they are not served. I think the waitress forgets to add. Further she not even aks us your order is so and so etc... so we can understand what we ordered. Very disappointing service☹️

We been straight there after having 3 days holidays, tired and looking for nice vegitarian food, I have been to this restaurant earlier and had really nice experience that time with quality food and service, This time was totally opposite, We ordered 1/2 soups they brought 1 bowl, after asking they gave spare bowl, and let us do the half, Forgot to supply some starter dishes, While taking orders, they didn't listen anything properly, Brought 1 set of papapam and butter milk even we were 4 of us, they never questioned how many we needed, they gave fried when you ask for roasted papadams, They gave super spicy chilli garlic naan when asked for standard garlic naan, charged for all of those even after their mistake Butter milk was sour, added a lot of water to drink those. Overall, worse customer service, and left the space in frustration,.never visiting this place again and will not recommend to anyone, Better to waste money somewhere else,

Especially your South Indian meal reminds me of Chennai A2B of same taste. Idly, Medhu Vada is too yummy. It got reminded me of my town. The same taste as it’s in Chennai A2B. Just wow👏 👏

One of the best restaurants for authentic South Indian food. Simply amazing food and their service is top notch. Very friendly team working there. We had a their weekend Special South Indian Thali which served on Banana leaf 🌿 (How it gets served in South India) it was great experience as normally when you go to restaurants they put small banana leaf in dish and serves on it, where here it was actually served on Banana leaf. All portions of Thali were very authentic in taste. We had ordered a few other items like Navrtna Kurma, Butter Naan, Garlic Naan, Idli all were so yummy. Definitely going back to try other menu items. Highly recommended and if you really want to try authentic South Indian food then must visit place

Tasty food served by friendly staff in a clean environment, however the 🚻 blocked toilets need to be kept clean! Parking can be a problem 10.6.24 Tasty food & desserts served by friendly staff who forget to serve the food ordered & cockroaches found again in previously mentioned dirty toilets does not inspire confidence about the standards of hygiene applicable to this restaurant let alone eat in there! All items on the menu are not available either.
