Myself and my lovely girlfriend were shocked to find this amazing restaurant so empty on a Tuesday night. We pleasured ourselves with two starters and two mains. Gyoza’s were the right amount of crisp and flavour. Katsu was sublime, could maybe have more sauce. The budae jjigae will blow your socks off so hard you’d think a grenade has detonated beneath your very feet. 10/10 would recommend, bill came to barely £50 with beers involved too. Let’s make this place busies because it deserves it.

Am I glad that their restaurant area has finally reopened again! They've added plenty of new Korean dishes to the menu... pleasantly surprised how delicious the food was, equally surprised on the freshness, uncompromising quality, and generous portions that doesn't cost an arm and a leg, unlike most places out there these days.

Stumbled upon this great little Japanese noodle joint by accident; lunch menu was great and good value, friendly staff, and probably some of the best ramen moodles I've had in a long time since I left Asia! Special shout out to Tom who was super attentive and always ready with a smile, he is a credit to front of house there!

I often order the Umi and on a usual basis, it's decent. The chicken katsu curry is my go-to for its curry sauce which for its part, makes the dry chicken and rice tasteful. But this time I ordered the meal, it came in the wrong packaging (which is evident of a lack of interest in the inventory of this business from the manager), and the curry sauce was strewn all over the bag and meals making the overpriced dry chicken and rice unpalatable. The food has seen a rapid decline in quality and the lack of interest by the owners is telling of the fact that this business will likely get eaten up by a competitor if they don't fix these issues. I Will definitely never order or recommend this place again.

Lamentablemente, no volvería a pedir: (

This is a really cosy place, would be lovely for a date. Popped in while travelling for work and was so well looked after. Nothing was too much trouble, and the food was amazing.

Great food and quick service. Quite pricey now, so sign up to the loyalty program to get free sides. Go early before 6pm to avoid a queue

Kokoro is a decent Asian food chain. I’ve eaten at this one and others a few times over the years. They do a good katsu curry. I had a bento box which had salmon nigiri one one side and chicken katsu the other. The mix of hot and cold food was a bit odd but individually they different elements were fine. Service was fine, new guy needed some help but I won’t blame him for being new. Quite a bit of space if you want to eat in. Tables and chairs are functional and not built for comfort. Good to takeaway. Will probably go back as it’s generally convenience food for me.

The prices may seem appealing, but the portion sizes are disappointingly small. Each serving only comes with four pieces and the sushi itself is mostly rice, very little fish. While the sushi tastes somewhat fresh, the quality is lacking. The pieces of fish are uneven, super small, and tend to fall apart. Overall, the value for money isn’t there, as the portions are tiny and the quality of the sushi doesn’t justify even the lower price point.

Disappointing Sushi Takeaway I ordered a takeaway meal from this sushi restaurant, and unfortunately, it left much to be desired. The sushi rolls we ordered were particularly underwhelming. Each roll consisted of only four pieces, with minimal and almost stingy amounts of fish. It barely tasted like sushi at all, which was a major disappointment given the high expectations I had. While the rest of the order was acceptable, the overall experience felt overpriced, especially for the small portion sizes and lack of quality in the sushi itself. It gave the impression that they were scrimping on ingredients, which detracted significantly from the meal. Given the premium pricing, I expected much better quality and attention to detail. Sadly, this experience didn't deliver, and I'm hesitant to order from here again.
