The best restaurants serving Italian food in England

Food was amazing!!! Loved the tiramisu <3 Staffs were very attentive and friendly. We sat outside (it was CHILLY) and they made sure we were warm and cosy with blankets and heater.

Not fair to rate good as we didn’t eat, felt uncomfortable as staff didn’t greet us or make us feel welcome and were just chatting at the bar.

First time we have ever eaten a meal with our coats on...freezing ....food was bland, staff lovely, waiting 45 mins for starter....lady sitting at the bar area glared at our table throughout the meal...walking across and staring at us ...thanks ...£170 wasted....

Visited as a party of 8. We had to pre order to help with a busy Saturday evening. The pizza is very good with traditional stone baked crust. The starters were huge and the mains were great value. It's very simple recipes though it would be great to see something a little more current like a beef carpaccio. Pasta sauces were quite simple and basic.

Came here in Aug '17 and again recently, in August came here for my birthday and both times were very good. Attentive staff. Nice food. Overall it's good, but isn't fantastic or special, but worth coming if you're going to theatre near by.

Great Food, amazing Staff! Average Volume quite loud, not least due to other very chatty patrons.

I'm disgusted in the way I was treated I was treated like a criminal the manager was so rude he said if I wanted to eat I'd have to pay first I hope he get the sack I'm seeking legal advice

Would rate the service 0 stars if I could. Firstly when we entered the restaurant, this younger female waitress constantly kept looking at us whilst we waited to be given a table. Half of the restaurant was empty anyway, so it’s not like there was no space for us. She constantly had eye contact but ignored us. It was until a long wait after, another waitress noticed us and gave us a table. The first female waitress who kept ignoring us, constantly kept looking at me throughout the whole time, as if she was blatantly ignoring us on purpose. She was not even busy doing anything, just stood in a corner. After long waiting, we were finally asked for our order and finally being served our food. After we finished our food, we had our hands up to ask for the bill, as Parking time was getting close to the end. It was very obvious we was waiting and asking. A male waiter then had eye contact with us 4 times and straight away looks away, and pretends he didn’t notice us. It took us a long while to finally get the bill. Overall those 2 waiters were absolutely appalling with their service and attitude. Not the customer service attitude they should have with their job. And honestly reading these other reviews; I am not shocked. Seems like a normal thing here…

Quite a nice meal but unfortunately they covered a lovely chicken roast with Pepper gravy All I could smell and taste was pepper

Excellent place to eat, especially if you like wood fired pizza. Reasonably priced and very tasty. Recommended.

Bought a piece of Baked Cheesecake. Dry, and unpalatable. Generally disappointed
