Lovely food and excellent customer service. We always find Maidstone very good and have never had a issue. Waiter was very friendly and helpful

I enjoy Zizzi very much as a common to go to restaurant choice but this experience has encouraged me to look at alternatives. We have two children under two and both our family and another with a toddler were left stood in the entrance waiting to be seated for 20 minutes (we had booked). The restaurant was almost empty with maybe 4 tables at most dining and we had been noticed by staff umpteen times before someone approached. The wait was totally unnecessary and the cold welcome was the beginning of issues. Our waitress was moody beyond measure, a smile would have been too much to ask and her body language and approach was less than warm and welcoming. Short abrupt responses and little understanding or patience for little diners and parents juggling. My food was incorrect but when I said not to worry and accepted it anyway to not cause food wastage it was dry and luke warm. Sadly it was stodgy as if it had been sat on the side for sometime and normal portion sizes were non existent. My todders portion was larger than mine by half... My sons dish had an ingredient in it we asked to be removed on ordering albeit it was not due to an allergy but a dislike however very simple to just not add it. Luckily it was not an allergy or things really would have hit rock bottom. All in all an awful and somewhat stressful experience. Expensive unenjoyable outing. It was a treat that was far from a treat.

It was a booking table for 8 and unfortunatey there was a few things that came up and we werent happy with. The waiters were lovely and quick for drinks but when it comes to ordering food we waited for about 15 minutes, so we decided to order on the app. After about 10-15 minutes of ordering the waiter came back informing us that for 2 out of the set menus they didn't have the main meal we ordered, which was a shame, and wasn't very exciting to order something we didn't initially decided on. After we had our food, the waiter informed us they ran out of the our selected option for dessert as well... so we had to choose a different one too... basically 2/3rds of the menu we have chosen was unavailable... so we could've not had the menu and actually ordered something completely different from the main menu. At no point before ordering was specified which items were not available on the set menu... they were rushing to tidy up to table but they didn't apologise for the inconvenience.

Fantastic, swift service and delicious food. The new Christmas menu was lovely. We really enjoyed celebrating my Mum's birthday at Zizzi. Thanks.

Our experience was excellent. It was very busy but our waitress May, was attentive, friendly and professional. She was totally rushed off her feet but we were very well looked after. Whilst you have excellent gluten free options and excellent vegan options, your menu is very limited for both combined and I’m always stuck having the same thing.

Food was nice and came out quite quickly but one waitress needs some training as she nearly dropped food down our backs a good few times and kept dropping dishes/dirty cutlery etc near our bags. Just take less stuff!! It was late in the afternoon so not particularly busy. We were sympathetic until after we paid and she said nothing to us and walked off. A thanks (we tipped) and goodbye/merry Christmas would be nice.

Arrived for our pre booked table and there was apparent confusion and an issue but we were eventually seated. We were not advised of any changes to menu and drinks order taken. We decided to go with the 3 course festive menu. Went to order starters calamari and the spezialbboth unavailable we then went for another option again unavailable there was actually only 4 starters to choose from! We had the cheese pigs in blankets bomb. Arrived and top burnt but inside was cold! No one asked if everything ok except a waitress arrived with our mains whilst we were still eating starters! We questioned this and she said the kitchen is on a schedule and then looked at us blankly and advised kitchen timings are set for mains to arrive 12 minutes after starters! Who eats starter and wants a main in 12 minutes it’s a ridiculous schedule! Asked to speak to manager who said that the kitchen order is pre set that way we spoke about the lack of starter and he said distribution issue and then advised there was actually only 3 desserts available from the whole menu! If we had been pre informed that day or even when we arrived we could have made a decision whether we wanted to spend hard earned money on a menu that looked amazing on paper but realistically wasn’t available! Main courses were fine (pizza you can’t go wrong!) we ordered dessert (3rd choices again due to most of it being unavailable) my friend ordered a baileys coffee with half a shot of coffee and I requested another drink. Her coffee came with 2 shots !! My drink never arrived! Coffee was left as was Baileys (even though charges for both) as no one ever replaced it with correct order. The manger did agree when we spoke about starter issue to take one meal off menu but bill was still £50 and to be honest was not worth anything considering most of it was not what we wanted, cold or incorrect. We understand hospitality had this time of year but staff were arguing on the restaurant floor, manager was having words with staff in front of customers. The waiter was desperately trying to get us to leave and looking for his tip on the table! Looking back I wish we had left when the first issue of table appeared and was not worth the money paid at all!

Chronically understaffed tonight which was a shame but it was all about the desserts! The service was slow. Waiting on staff literally running including between floors. All the food was good. Especially the wonderful lemon cake with soft meringue topping. Outstanding desserts.

Much more choice than the usual Christmas menus at other restaurants. Staff were friendly and attentive, undoubtedly working very hard front and back of house to make our meal enjoyable. Will definitely return when quieter.

Terrible this place has been lot better in the past but last night was the worst visit to Zizzi Maidstone that we have made starter was cold where it had been standing around to long before being arriving at our table plus when it came to desert's being told by the waitress that almost half had been sold out that should have been mentioned at the start of the evening all in all very disappointed given the fact that we have visited this restaurant on a number of occasions.

On arrival the service appeared very busy, lots of rushing around, and then we were offered a table, but service would have been slow, in our opinion so we left without eating. On our previous visit we were turned away due to a private function. A more relaxed welcome atmosphere would be great. The staff appeared rushed off their feet, inconsistent to an atmosphere we would enjoy. Update: Called back having booked well in advance. It was very cold in the restaurant, when we asked about the heating, we appeared to get a very dismissive reply, the heating is on. The food took around an hour to arrive. This site appears chaotic in terms of "service"! Will not return, I feel they could learn from the Canterbury team.

This place is okay for a meal with the family however the food isn't amazing for money it's a large chain and that reflected in the food. Everything is taste but it's all seems the same really. Everything I eat was filling and present to eat except the Mac and cheese was rubbery and dry. Service was good the servers was polite and overall the experience was good however for the money you definitely could get better.

Went out last night to Zizzi in Maidstone. It was our Christmas work party. We were a group of 8 and most of us ordered different meals from the 3 course Christmas menu. We were all so happy with our choices, everything was absolutely delicious! The service was great, such a lovely team. The portion sizes were great, if anything it's too much. It was a lovely night with amazing food. All 8 of us where more than satisfied with our visit to Zizzi. The photos are, the pig in blanket bombe, still can't get over how very delicious that was but I didn't need to eat more after. It was big and so filling! Then it's the, lobster mafaldine, absolutely sublime! And after all that I was happy I didn't go with a heavy chocolate dessert. I went with the baked lemon and blackcurrant cheesecake, it was delicious too and tasted so fresh with that lemon. 10/10 can't fault last night and I can't wait to go back.

I visited Zizzi in Maidstone East with friends for a birthday celebration, and it turned out to be a delightful experience overall. We had pre-booked a table and arrived around 6 PM. The atmosphere was inviting and aesthetic, perfectly suited for a celebratory evening. The food was delicious, and everyone in our group enjoyed the dishes we ordered. However, I personally felt that the main course took slightly longer than expected to arrive – about 30 minutes – which tested our patience a bit. Despite this, the staff were friendly and attentive, ensuring we were comfortable throughout our meal. Zizzi offers a lovely setting for gatherings with friends, blending great food with a warm, pleasant ambiance. While the service timing could improve, it's still a place I would recommend for a relaxed and enjoyable dining experience.

I enjoyed a lovely dinner here on Sunday evening and all I can say is the food and service were absolutely amazing! Ester was so lovely and attentive and made sure we had everything we needed! The new vegetarian mushroom pasta is sodelicious! i will definitely be back to try the festive menu. Joe was also amazing, he made us feel like part of the family with his banter and cheeky smile, I'll definitely be back just to be served by this barman again!

We had a delightful experience for an impromptu late lunch. We were greeted by a very friendly guy at the door and offered a cosy spot to sit. We were surprised to see how much the menu had expanded since our last visit and were spoilt for choice. I’m vegan and there was so much to choose from. Our waitress, Asia, was very helpful and friendly and we felt relaxed and not at all rushed to lead can be the case in some restaurants. Really enjoyed ourselves and looking forward to coming back!

Eat here on a comparatively quiet Tuesday. Really good food and drinks. Service was attentive without being intrusive.

Popped in on the off chance they might have space for 4 of us for lunch on Sunday. Luckily we were squeezed in but told we could have a little delay with food being brought out which we were fine with. Staff very attentive, served us quickly and drinks brought out immediately. No delay at all with the food, which was fresh, good size portions and delicious. Had a lovely lunch and the team were excellent, nothing was too much trouble. Really enjoyed our meal. Attached a picture of the chicken & procutto salad, yum!

An excellent meal, particularly the brisket and venison suffato. We were served by a friendly waitress who made us feel welcomed. Good value.

Didn’t get much of an experience as we walked out before being seated, due to the host being so rude. Aside from the fact he was so rude, he also looked really scruffy too. Wearing a washed out rugby shirt. Not the best advertisement for the restaurant. We will not be booking here again.

Exceptionally tasty meals and great atmosphere. We loved the beautifully decorated interior design, which feels homely but also really quirky as well. We were well served by 2 waitresses, Wiktoria and Georgie, they were both smart, friendly and overall excellent.

I visited the Maidstone restaurant & was made very welcome indeed. I was with a friend & we both agreed the whole experience was absolutely wonderful. All staff were attentive, the food was great & we were made to feel very welcome. Well Done !

I go to Zizzi’s a lot because the food / service / atmosphere is lovely . All the staff are so friendly and welcome you every time I go in with my friends . Fraser the Manager goes out of his way to help and is so hands on on the floor . Ester served us a few times she did again Saturday . She is the loveliest lady …5* service .

It was an excellent experience for me to be honest. The service was amazing. We were served by a very kind, friendly and professional waiter, Mateusz, and i want to point out that he made the evening better. The food was extremely delicious. The atmosphere was positive, warm and friendly. And the waiting was about 5-10 minutes, which is better than in most places. I personally highly recommend this place if you're looking for a chill, warm and delicious evening with date, family or friends.

Went for a birthday lunch with the wife. Very friendly and my wife got a free glass of fizz for her birthday from a very friendly manager. Food was served quickly and hot by two lovely waitresses. We really enjoyed ourselves today. Keep up the good work were be back.

The bread dough starter was great. Sadly the main course of Beef & Chianti ragu was very bland which was probably due to the minimal amount of ragu sauce in the dish. My Son had the Chicken pesto pizza which had a tiny amount of chicken which was hidden under a mountain of rocket. This was the first time at the Maidstone restaurant and given the competition you have in the area I would hope for much better. Maybe next time…if there is one

The food was rubbish and the service was not good

Zizzi’s never disappoints, and I always find myself ordering the king prawn linguine—it’s become a ritual at this point. I’ve been with friends who raved about their lasagna, and just two days ago, I went on a date where my partner ordered a calzone that looked equally amazing. (I've attached a picture from our little date) What keeps me coming back to the linguine is the perfect balance of protein to carbs. Every forkful gives me just the right amount of prawn, and the pasta is cooked to perfection. The service is impeccable—attentive without being overbearing—and the atmosphere is beautiful, making it an ideal spot for a date. We also tried their pineapple drink, which was refreshingly unique, and ended the meal with a honeycomb cheesecake to share. Luxurious without being too heavy, it was exactly what I wanted to round off the night. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience, from start to finish.

Fantastic food. Service can be a little slow at busy times but the food certainly makes up for that. Can get a little noisy if busy but I think you get that anywhere. Would highly recommend and don’t forget to register for the rewards.

Went for dinner tonight with family and was blown away by the food. Very tasty and well presented. Our waitress Georgie didn’t rush us when we were looking at the menus, offered us more drinks during meals and was really good at her job. And well done to the kitchen staff too- the food was delicious. Definitely recommend to all. 10/10.

Wednesday night visit with friends and family to catch up after many months. Our waitress Georgie was so lovely and looked after us very well. Our food was delicious too - it’s easy to see the kitchen team really care about what they do. Can’t wait to visit again and will be recommending to friends and family. Well done Zizzi Maidstone!

Like other Zizzi restaurant staff follow a similar pattern, friendly and welcoming. Food is fine and at a reasonable price.

delivery was terrible when food arrived freezing cold couldn’t enjoy it honestly i want my money back there called delivery drivers for a reason to deliver the food i really would like my money back

we ordered 6 pizzas - 1 came burned and had to be replaced, mine came half the size. I asked for both of them to be replaced. My son got a replacement, which was nice. I got a replacement, which was bigger ( closer to what I had before in this restaurant ), but this time burned. Just stuck to it this time, as I ran out of time and patience. I then saw that someone was getting a double the size calzone, but someone else got just as small as I did originally, almost empty inside and burnt. Not amused I have to say - I went to Zizzi many times before and never saw anything like this. I know they were busy, but this is no excuse to be serving black food and undersized, as noone seems to be cutting bills in half on the way out. You wanted it, you have it. Will copy and paste it to google reviews as well.

Lovely Italian restaurant in a great location. Food was very nice. I enjoyed the calamari starter and lasagne.

All cutlery was CLEAN, and the food was SEXY

my order never arrived. Just saying it doesn't make it fact. plus how long dose it take to prepare my order ???? to say I'm unhappy is an under statement . I will be lodgeing a formal complaint.

Came to zizi with my children last week. The staff are very welcoming, restaurant was clean. Food came out well timed and hot, I ordered the chicken pollo picante as it’s my favourite and I asked the chef if he could make it with extra cream and he did it tasted lovely Thankyou Lewis. The children enjoyed their pizza and bolognaise and have asked if they can have it from zizi every time instead of at home. We had he melt chocolate for pudding with ice cream and it was Devine. Very happy with my service that day will be back soon 😋

I ordered a take away this evening for myself and my family. We ordered a pizza pinoli, 2 carbonara and the goats cheese ravioli. The food was amazing really fresh and throughly enjoyed it. Thanks again zizzi !!
