Prezzo - Maidstone in Maidstone

We went to prezzo yesterday with our 18 month old Grandson. The young man who served us was so nice & nothing was to much trouble. It makes such a change these days to get good service. The young lady sorry I didn’t get either of your names was also lovely. Food was delicious & prompt. Music was fantastic right up our street. We will be back. Thank you.

Went with my Girlfriend for an easy dinner, was put upstairs where the decor is really bad wasn’t a fantastic environment like the downstairs is. Our server Josie was absolutely fantastic an excellent asset for Prezzo. The food we had starters and mains, garlic bread, burger and pizza. While all being very tasty the food was cold, we didn’t bother sending it back which perhaps we should have as I’m sure this would have be rectified! Overall the service was amazing but the place upstairs needs a kick of paint and the food to be hotter although very tasty.

Nice food but I didn’t realise that cash is no longer accepted. In a cost of living pandemic many people are preferring to use cash. I don’t support a cashless society. So I won’t be returning.

In a nearly empty restaurant on a Tuesday we were sat at a table that felt like a corridor on the corner and right next to a table with 3 children incl a baby which were quite noisy. We understand kids eating out but why would the staff sit a couple next to this table when so many other tables were empty! We had to ask to be moved and they moved us. Waited ages for 1st drink and in the end went up to entrance to order. Asked for ladies toilet, was told to use disabled toilet but couldn't as no toilet roll, no apology. Broccoli and mash was stone cold & had to get up to tell them. They offered a new dish or another dish & I asked for a new hot of the same and they sent back out within 2 minutes so had obviously microwaved the original dish and did not serve fresh. My partners burger was mediocre for the price. They did give us a free drink for the issue. The whole place looked tatty and uncared for, the stairs to the toilets and so on were very dirty. The Halloween decorations were a joke, not that we were there for that but they were ridiculous/embarrassing and they really shouldn't have bothered as it just added to uncared for feel.

8 of us visited the restaurant on Saturday lunchtime. Everyone really enjoyed all their food. The lemon meringue pie was epic! What made the time even more special was the fantastic service by Liam & Sunny, who are a great double act! Can't wait to come back!

Lovely lunch, although portion size was small. We were warned. Luckily we both had small appetites! The dish was delicious. The lemon meringue was amazing. The cherry Sunday a disappointment as it had a small bit of cram 2 scoops of ice-cream served in a metallic dish which came straight out of a 1970's kitchen. Avoid this dessert as not worth the money. It was cashless so we both paid by card including tip. Place was empty apart from a few people Saturday lunch time which was fine as don't enjoy crowded restaurants. Service ok only one person serving.

Went to prezzo today and the service was brilliant well done Liam the starters were amazing but my pasta was a little dry and this was sorted straight away we all loved our experience here

Visited for a family meal. On arrival there was nobody to greet us , so we were left standing waiting for somebody to appear. Our table was fine but they do need to look into the furnishings, very tired and in need of repair - I'm not sure the holes in the seating would pass Covid safety inspections ie; harbouring bacteria. We were told there were no burgers on the menu apart from the chicken burger. We ordered our drinks and meals, I asked for a white wine spritzer which they assumed I would want made with lemonade, big mistake to assume! Therefore, I had to ask for this to be changed to soda and was told that I should have specified. Our starters were ok but the garlic breads were very bland, they were obviously short of garlic butter. Our main meals were nice apart from the fact that one never arrived, we then had to wait another 7-8 mins for this to be given to us, despite asking more than once where it was they just kept saying its coming. They had forgotten to prepare it I would imagine. When it did arrive with no apology offered it was so hot that my daughter burned her mouth. As I've said no apologies were made for this poor service and on a spend of £150.00 plus, this sits a little badly for a meal that was very mediocre, staff that were young, inexperienced and insincere plus surroundings that could benefit from a facelift! Hence to say we will not be returning.

I came here for my 23rd birthday meal and I’m so glad I came here for it! I started with a ‘peachy’ like cocktail, it did have a ‘winey’ taste to it. Even though I dislike wine, the flavour of it was really good! My starter was the calamari with garlic mayo. Absolutely delicious! The calamari was cooked perfectly and had a perfect taste to it! The garlic mayo was also excellent! My main was the lasagne, it was perfection, once again! Also came with very tasty garlic bread! Finally, my pudding was the chocolate tart. The texture of the chocolate was amazing! Not sure if there were nuts on it, which I don’t normally like in cakes. But I again, absolutely loved it! The staff were very kind, and the service was amazing, really quick! Overall, a great experience!!! Will be eating here again! Thank you Prezzo for having me! 😊

I use to like dining in Prezzo but I was shocked when I was told that they don’t take cash! For me it is a big deal and I like to have choice! I will not be returning there and will not recommend this chain restaurant anymore!

We visited Prezzo Maidstone for an evening meal. The feedback from our party was not particularly good i.e. The baked carbonara was dry, the calzone's were barely warm in the middle and contained very little meat and the pommes Anna in the beef with Chianti were burnt and the tender stem broccoli was tough! The desserts were ok but looked and tasted like mass produced bought in frozen products? The service was friendly all be it a little slow. We were seated in the conservatory area and the roof was leaking over our table. PLEASE NOTE: this restaurant does not accept cash unless it comes in the form of a tip which seems contradictory! Based on our experience we would not return or recommend.

For the price you pay the quality & taste of the pizza is awful. Can get far better pizzas from supermarkets for a quarter of the price. They put the wrong toppings on our pizza. Pot of sauce turned up completely broken and leaked everywhere. Our dessert (already paid for) never arrived so we had to call up the restaurant & organise another deliveroo driver to go & pick up the dessert 30 minutes later. Can’t blame Deliveroo for this it’s Prezzo who make the food, present it & also mucked up/missed parts of our order. Never again!!!

Didnt get there til about 3 pm but that was not a problem. They were happy to serve us. Staff friendly and welcoming. Meal nice. Cashless restaurant.

Ordered via uber eats this evening, took 1 and half hours to be delivered and once it arrived it was cold, so had to microwave and it was disgusting. I wouldn't ever recommend using uber eats to have this delivered.

I have eaten here many many times. This is the best place to eat and it stands way above any other in Maidstone. The food is high quality with many different choices and presentation is excellent. Very disappointed with this place because we ordered starter and three out of six starters the bowls were chipped and prawns were bland, then the main dish the pizza didn’t have enough cheese in the margarita and the list just goes on. We visited as part of an anniversary trip as we had a BuyaGift voucher given as a gift (three course meal and a glass of wine).Our table was booked at 7pm on a Thursday evening and it was surprisingly quiet so service was very fast and we were in and out in just over an hour. The food was lovely (chicken and roasted pepper pizza was amazing). It did get draughty and cold (didn't help that it was -1 outside!) however not sure if it was just the part of the restaurant that we were in. Overall a lovely dinner.

We come here regularly and came on Saturday 11:30ish for an early lunch. Amazing service and very helpful waiter! The food was second to none, we were very impressed. However, the restaurant itself was freezing cold. I spent most of meal wrapped up in my coat. The toilets upstairs were even more colder, almost unbearable. This hasn’t happened before so it was a little disappointing and spoiled the meal.

On Boxing day we were booked into an Indian restaurant in Bearsted near Maidstone as a party of 10 including 4 children. When we arrived the restaurant was closed and had failed to telephone us.What could we do on Boxing Day?We telephoned Prezzo in Maidstone and they were happy to fit us all in.When we arrived we were really happy to see the perfectly laid out table for our party and to receive the warm welcome from the staff.The food was excellent. The service excellent and the whole day was made good by all at this Prezzo.So many thanks and a very much felt appreciation for your restaurant.Strongly recommended.

We had a lovely meal last night at Prezzo’s. There were 9 of us so we had a little area just for us which was lovely. The food was great and the staff so friendly. Can’t believe I haven’t eaten here for so long! Will definitely be returning.

We had a table early evening before going to the Hazlitt theatre. You arrive out of the cold, welcomed by a roaring fire. A great first impression, to which we all commented. We were then taken out of this ‘nook’ of warmth to our table. At first very pleased with our round table which took up to 6 people, set in front of the large window, and allowed us all to chat freely. It then became clear that there was a draught coming through the windows, which we were next to. There was also a draught nipping around our ankles, possibly from the unlit fireplace or front door. Needless to say people (not just our table or our area of the restaurant )were sat dining with their coats or scarfs on. Service was slow. The starters were tasty, we had the calamari and the cheese. The mains took a while and there was a hiccup with one of the orders. All the time we sat trying to keep warm, now with icy feet. We ate as quickly as possible, requesting the bill whilst still eating the main. We all craved warmth!! The mains pizza, pasta and Christmas Cracker Calzone were all tasty. The toilets up a flight of chilly stairs, lead to an equally chilly toilet. PLEASE INVEST IN PROPER HEATING. Thankfully we had a discount card, as the experience didn’t warrant full price. We will not be returning.

Restaurant was quite busy but with only 2 waiting staff working. Service slow and quality of food average. This was disappointing as previous visits had been very good. Serving staff were however trying to do their best.

So my wife and I decided we wanted to hold a wedding reception differently to most. Neither of us are party people, but instead prefer a nice meal with family.

We have been to this restaurant several times and have always had a good experience. However, we were very disappointed on our last visit. The service was not very good at all. The main courses came before the starters were cleared. When we ordered drinks they took ages to come. The waiter was just not very attentive throughout. Please do something about this because we like this restaurant.

Walking into Prezzo there is still a sense of historic significance. Prezzo May have added a glitzy artistic facade, but building retains some of its former character. It is dark in parts and teeming with light in other areas of this capacious restaurant.

What a lovely place. We had a red letter day voucher and having never been to any Prezzo restaurant before did not know what to expect. Well we were not disappointed.

Was extremely disappointed with this restaurant. Our waitress was lovely and that the venue itself was good. However I ordered the gluten-free pizza and it was absolutely appalling . It was solid with a few bits of vegetable scattered on the top. My friend had an ordinary pizza and that too was poor and she struggled to eat it.

Food was so Lovely, my gluten free pizza was to die for. However the service was really slow. Waited half an hour to be asked if we wanted a drink. Jug of water was forgotten when we asked for it so that took 15 minutes to come. It made up for it that the staff were lovely.

very nice restaurant, our waitress Camilla, was very pleasant and attentive, We ordered our meals and we didnt have to wait too long, The menu was varied, plenty to choose from, including vegan ,would recommend going quite early , as it got very busy and very noisy, would recommend the pasta over pizza, as found the base rather dry, you learn by your mistakes.I t was edible, but not as nice as on previous visits.Sticky toffee pudding is superb, as was the honeycomb cheesecake.

We dined here on a Monday evening with our 4 year old daughter. It was unusually busy for a Monday night. They had 3 floor staff and despite them being rushed off their feet the service was impeccable, they couldn't do enough for you. Food was fantastic, very little waiting times. Only criticism is that we seemed quite close to neighbouring tables. A few less tables in the small dining areas would make a far better dinning experience.

I have written numerous reviews on this branch of Prezzos over the years. Always praising it. However, i feel it only fair to write a rather disappointing review following our meal last night, in unanimously choosing Prezzos for what was to be a wee celebration for our daughter celebrating her NQT, Booked a table for 7pm, arrived slightly early, but sat in waiting area till 7 ti be seated, which was fine.In that time we had all chosen what we would like, starters and main meal. We had to wait till 7.20 for our order to be taken and then the whole night seemed to drag on. When we initially sat down it appeared that the manager was in conversation with a disgruntled customer querying his bill too, so that possibly took up one member of staff. The food was fine but it appeared there was just not enough staff to cope with what was surprisingly a busy night in there.

Following a busy day of activities that included a visit to the Kent County Show we dropped into Prezzo Maidstone for an evening meal.

Been to this Prezzo many times now. Usually food and service is good however when my partner and I visited on Saturday the food was good as always, but there was not enough staff. The staff are all friendly but there simply wasn’t enough of them to cope with the amount of people in the restaurant. We waited a good 20/25 minutes before someone came over to take our drink order and then another hour for our food. Nothing to do with the serving staff themselves, they are friendly as always, but there needs to be more.

My boyfriend and I visited last Sunday, we were seated quickly by a friendly waiter. We both ordered pasta dishes, myself the oak smoked salmon penne which was absolutely delicious and full of flavour, and my boyfriend the Al forno Spaghetti Carbonara which he said was one of the best he's had. Friendly staff and excellent food, what more could you need? We'll definitely be back!

Ordered delivery, was quick and simple and arrived in 33 minutes. Food was all lovely and all warm still. However when opening the box for the cheesecake dessert. It had literally been thrown in upside down and had completely broken and ruined it. Highly disappointed that they can’t even put a dessert in a box the right way up! Would of been a 4 star review but lost a star for not being able to serve a cheesecake and second star because it didn’t even taste nice!

We joined our friends for a casual dinner yesterday at Prezzo and I must say it was an incredible experience,very tasty food and exceptional service from Daniel who looked after us very well. He has a born to sell attitude which enchanted us very much together with a clear smile on his face. We will come back to see Daniel soon. Thank you for the exceptional experience and hospitality.

We went to Prezzos for a lunch with our children. Firstly, the food is ok and my starter, of mushrooms was good. The problem was we were essentially sat with ladies what lunched and we found ourselves in a bizarre version of 'Made In Chelsea'. Not the restaurants fault but it was a challenge to my patience. A real downside was the wine. I ordered a pino grigiot, and it was, frankly, very warm. When I asked for a replacement, I was told that was the coldest one. Also, once we had ordered, the pace of service slowed. We would have had a pudding, but after waiting for half an hour after our mains and failing to get attention, we decided to leave. This was a shame, as the meal had started well.

Great menu, with lots of choice, including many gluten free options. Nice atmosphere and friendly, attentive staff.

Lovely food, excellent service by Kamil. Very attentive and polite, but overbearing. Kamil had great knowledge of the menu and the wines, which is always great. Great price aswell, as used a 30% of voucher found on Prezzo website under offers.

I believe that the true sign of a good Italian restaurant is their Margherita pizza, and Prezzo Maidstone has a pretty good one! Had a Nanny State ale with it (a bit too bitter for my taste), and the affogato for dessert, which was also delicious. Another intriguing item on the menu was the beetroot and goat’s cheese gnocchi, which will be my choice at my next visit.

Had a 3 course meal from the springtime menu, food was great and good value, 4*, service and friendliness from our waitress Kasia was 5* will be back to sample this menu again and the welcome.

We visited prezzo this evening with our children who are 6 and 8. Our waiter Kamil was quick to get us seated and take our order with two hungry children. The food was served quickly and really was delicious. What made the visit special though was our waiter. He went out of his way to ensure we had a great experience there! Thank you Kamil!!

Very pleasant meal with my neighbour. Food was great, and hot (Garlic Bread with Mozzerella starter for two, Mushroom Risotto and Spaghetti Carbonara with Chicken and Pancetta) the staff are always very pleasant there, and we were not rushed at all.

We went there, using a gift voucher present, on Sunday evening for our wedding anniversary- we were not disappointed. What a great place, integrated well into the Tudor facade of the original building. The service and meal were very nice indeed - a good evening out thanks.

I went for dinner with my family and friends for my birthday celebrations last night and had a lovely meal with great and friendly service from Kamil. He went out of his way to make sure we all had a great evening.

I visit Prezzo every 5-6 weeks with friends and for a while now every time we have had a meal Kamil has been our waiter. We can be an awkward bunch especially when it comes to a ceaser salad however, nothing is never too much trouble for Kamil as he always has a sense of humour as well. We have been going to Prezzo'so in Maidstone for a number of years as we consistently have a lovely meal.

We came to eat here on Mother’s day and were very impressed with the choice on the menu and the good service and teamwork. All the food was very fresh and pleased three generations of a family. No mean feat.

Food was fine, restaurant not that busy service was so slow over 2 1/2 hours just for a pizza / pasta lunch was rushed through starter then waited ages for mains and deserts. Disappointed had asked if could use tesco vouchers to be told yes was not advised not applicable to kids menus or drinks unlike competitors.

Started as 5 of us, then joined by 3 others. The waiter happily accommodated us with an extra table. Then 2 others came along. We had the best service! Had a polish waiter but can’t remember his name. He had a friendly conversation with us and gave us lemon cello shots. The set menu was 2 courses £10.95 unbeliever food was so good and we were so full! Sat in conservatory area which in my opinion is the best area. Great evening :)

We were lucky enough to be bought a voucher for a 3 course meal for two at Prezzo and had a lovely evening. The staff were friendly on arrival and served us well throughout the evening, especially Kasia our waitress. The food was tasty and served promptly (the only downside being the menu on the voucher deal was slightly restricted with only 4 choices for starters, 7 for the main of 3 pizzas or 3 pasta or a salad and 3 for dessert). The drinks were pricey (over £6.50 for a 660ml Peroni which is a massive markup compared to the supermarkets) which is why they only get 4 stars and not 5.

Good selection of food that is nicely cooked and presented. Quaint building, Good service and clean toilets.
