6 of us our Monday club outing lovely welcoming could not fault the food and service shame we had leave to catch our last bus home 4of our group hadn't been before and they really enjoyed it

It was such a vibe especially Laura! She was one of the servers and she was such a queen and made sure we were comfortable and happy with our meals. Thanks ASK Italian!!!

From walking in the atmosphere was buzzing. Greeted by a warm and friendly lady. The team worked hard to ensure everything was perfect for you. The food was delicious. My husband got extra mushroom sauce as he said it’s the best he ever tasted. My lasagna was delicious but could have done with another layer of pasta just my choice but would have paid more for it. The young lady serving us was just brilliant. So attentive, nothing was too much trouble. Overall a lovely experience and we will be going back again soon

Necesitaba algo razonablemente rápido entre citas. El restaurante acaba de ser redecorado, el personal es amable, saludo adecuado, mesa agradable junto a la ventana. Comida decente. Nada que desagrade.

Fue nuestra primera visita desde que el restaurante ha sido renovado. El ambiente era acogedor y cálido y nos encantó la nueva decoración! Comida deliciosa y un servicio fantástico para acomodar las necesidades de un niño y bebé en la fiesta.

El personal y la comida increíbles era morir por un precio razonable, no de por aquí y hizo que nuestra visita valiera la pena! Tuvimos entrantes principales y bebidas calientes para terminar la noche.

Jemma & Becky looked after us extremely well . The service was impeccable considering how busy the restaurant was . Food , wine etc. excellent .

Amazing food and excellent customer service from the staff.

Booked a meal at 16:15 on Christmas Eve for two adults and two children. Walking up to the restaurant you could see it had been hugely over booked. We only ordered mains and a drink and the food was rushed out. After an hour we where asked to leave because the next people had arrived for our table. Left us speechless and refused to pay the Bill given it was so insulting. The 'manager' then came over and asked what the 'commotion' was about. I attempted a recalibration on basic standards of customer service where she then proceeded to explain a table of four has 1 HR 15 mins allotted which she also agreed was a joke. Resteraunt clearly got greedy to exploit a busy night and someone didn't do the calculations properly. It was essentially a conveyor belt of tables with customer satisfaction at the bottom of the priorities. People queuing up in the cold outside as we where leaving. Bill left unpaid and will be following up with a complaint to 'head office'. Huge shame as it's a local eatery for us.

It's not my first time here, me and my partner live in the town and always love to come here, the staff are always friendly and welcoming and never too afraid to give you more grated cheese 😀 the mains, sides and desserts where delicious today. Thank you. I can't wait to come again for the refreshed refurbishment to the place.

i had visited ask yesterday and had amazing service at lunch by the waitress( think her name was Kira?) but she was so lovely and had an amazing meal and was great, quick and kind service from our waitress. Will definitely come again and definitely recommend!!!

Just got back from a really nice lunch at Ask in Wetherby. The staff were great and the restaurant wasn't too busy. Our waitress Emily was really attentive and ensured everyone in our group (of 7) was happy and Jemma took the time to make sure we could use our Tesco vouchers on the bill, which meant it was really reasonably priced. The food came in good time and was really nice too.

We have recently spent a lovely evening at Ask in Wetherby. We were very impressed by the service and welcoming atmosphere. Laura and her team were very attentive and friendly and made the experience a very relaxed enjoyable evening for the both of us thank you very much.

Restaurant is spacious and airy. The service we received from Laura was fantastic. She was so attentive and helpful - especially to our 9 year old grandson which really made our meal special.

We visited Ask on Sunday as a group of 13 for my son's 18th birthday. The service from booking to the actual visit was helpful and friendly. The food was delicious and nothing was too much trouble for the staff who ensured a very personal touch to our group. We all enjoyed our visit and cannot recommend enough. Thank you Jemma and her co workers tonight for great service even though they were under staffed, all did really well getting food and drink out!

El personal estaba bajo una presión tremenda, con un restaurante lleno, y 2 empleados no aparecieron. Sin embargo, Jemma y Eva J pudieron servirnos con prontitud, eficiencia y cortesía. Explicamos que teníamos que coger un autobús, y no puedo elogiarlos demasiado, ya que lo hicimos con rime de sobra. La comida era caliente y rápida, el vino estaba bien, y que hizo un gran trabajo. Gracias, sin duda volveremos de nuevo.

The workers were all lovely, great food, however unfortunately the general manager (laura I believe, lady with blonde hair), was seen shouting at staff behind the bar didn't leave a nice impression for my family hence them asking for me to write a review on their behalf.

Laura, Emily and their teams hosted a large party of 9 of us. Laura went absolutely above and beyond helping me coordinate this with advice on local parking, getting pre-orders etc. She was just brilliant. On the evening, everyone commented on how well the restaurant was managed. It was busy and the staff were suitably attentive, easy to interact with, pleasant and stunningly effective. I genuinely cannot praise them enough. We will definitely go out of our way to go there again

Este solía ser un lugar al que ir para una buena comida confiable. Estaba tan decepcionado por casi todos los aspectos de la comida de hoy. Literalmente ensalada podrida en nuestros dos platos. El papardelle de ternera sabía como si una lata de salsa de tomate sin condimentar se vierta encima de los fideos sobrecocidos. La carne era irreconocible como la carne. Los servidores eran amigables pero dispersos e ineficientes a pesar de que no estaba ocupado.

Amazing service. The lady in charge seemed to be everywhere at once and never looked hassled. She remembered to check our little quirks like swapping potatoes for broccoli making sure the kitchen had got it right. had time to chat to everyone. Especially good with the children.

En un día en la ciudad y pensamos que cenaríamos aquí, tenía un ambiente agradable, personal muy amable, consciente de cualquier alergia, buena comida, no apresurado y bebidas frías.

La comida era muy buena, tengo una tarjeta Bluelight así que 7 de nosotros comimos y bebimos bien. El lugar estaba lleno de gente de todas las edades. Inodoros limpios y en general un buen lugar para ir!

We went to ask Italian in Scarborough and we're so impressed with the food service and staff we went to wetherby and found exactly the same with them excellent service,staff and food, nothing was too much trouble can't rate these 2 restaurants highly enough well worth a visit and reasonable prices thanks to all the staff.

Jemma and her team always greet you with a smile and try hard to accommodate every request. The staff seem to genuinely care about making customers experiences positive. The food is consistently good and the friendly staff make Ask a popular destination that can be relied on for any dining out reason. Thank you all for your efforts, they are most appreciated and needed by the town.

Sat on the terrace for light bites and coffee, food was fresh and tasty, service was excellent.

Visited here without prebooking and were greeted by helpful staff and seated straight away. Staff were all pleasant and orders arrived promptly. The premises were a little noisy, with the sound of other diners seeming to echo, which made it a little difficult to hear what the staff were saying when taking orders. Food was lovely and well presented. My only issue was the portion size for the price paid. The sides were fine, but I felt the mains would have been better with a bit more of the vegetables accompanying the fish. We also ordered a pizza, which was a reasonable size, just a little bit more than I would expect to pay. We enjoyed the food, just would have liked a little more! Maybe it is a ploy to make sure you have room left for desserts, but spending over £50 for 2 people for a drink, side and main each was enough of a treat.

Who chose those plates?!!! Green.ish? My pasta board looked mouldy. The green rims in our opinion are horrible. Food tonight was delicious. The staff were very busy restaurant was packed.

We had a wonderfully pleasant time here. The staff were firstly friendly and kind. The food arrived quickly and was reasonably priced and tasty. The atmosphere was lovey and it wasn’t too busy at all. I’d definitely come back here and I’d recommend it!

Wonderful atmosphere in ASK. Despite being very busy, the staff were extremely attentive and welcoming. We were served by Emily and Ed who were both very friendly and welcoming and made our meal out all the more enjoyable. The food was delicious, not a single fault to be said.

Very basic food, no garnishing, lacking any taste which is disappointing considering prices aren’t that low…staff were all young ladies who were polite but appeared to be poorly managed and given no direction. Witnessed 3 tables walk out in the space of 20 mins which staff didn’t acknowledge.

Very attentive staff who liked after us really well. Helped us with our order and sorted a good outdoor space. Variety of food was good and full of flavour.

We had a lovely lunch, sitting outside under a shady parasol (a number of tables in full sun, if you prefer). Food was delicious, nicely presented with friendly and calm service. We chose a simple starter of olives and warm bread/oil/vinegar (particularly yummy) followed by gnocchi al arrabbiata and caprese salad and affogato dessert. Reasonably good value considering the quality and the surroundings.

I was in yesterday and will definitely be going back again. The food was amazing but what topped it off was the server Kira, she was so bubbly and polite and made eating out so much easier and enjoyable. Absolutely would recommend to someone.

We stopped here on our way to Collingham and we didnt have a reservation, they put up a table for us very quickly and the place was crowded. The staff were very nice and friendly and always smiling. The food was delicious and would recommend this place to anyone

Amazing service today by Emily and Ed, I had lasagne grande and fonduta potatoes - cooked perfectly, I also ordered a cappuccino which was a perfect end to my meal. Would definitely recommend.

Friendly welcome. Swiftly seated. Really enjoyed prawn starter - cooked to perfection. Nice pizza for main. Kindly put slices left in a box to bring home. Like that you can get a 500ml carafe of wine. Away offers on which make it good value for money but full price is over-priced I'd say. There was a group in who were quite loud, as the restaurant is open plan there was no noise absorption. Not the makings of a quiet dinner for two. Otherwise couldn't fault.

I ordered a pizza. There was some tomato sauce on it but not in the middle only visible around the edge
