Mel was absolutely amazing. Had so much banter with her. We were a family who don't get to see each other much, so she made the day amazing. 5 out of 5. Would definitely recommend.

Oh my goodness! The three course set menu was absolutely delicious. We had dough balls, Chicken Milanese and tiramisu. We are overly impressed with the quality of the food, wine and staff! Bella Italia Leeds is a great place to enjoy a delicious meal!

We unexpectedly dropped in without a booking and were greeted by Kaley, the manager, and one of the servers working the evening. While ordering and eating, everyone was beyond accommodating, incredibly polite, and well informed about their food, and the overall dining experience was lovely. We will definitely be coming back in the future.

I work as lead chaperone looking after children performing for an opera production taking place at Leeds Grand Theatre. As a treat for the kids during the long rehearsal days we took them to Bella Italia for food! Everything was fab, the staff was super friendly, allergies and intolerances were dealt with perfectly, the food came out promptly, and the kids absolutely loved it. Many thanks to those who looked after us while we were there!

I think I had the greatest experience here today I was with my fellow colleagues celebrating and received kind service from mel and Gaia and they offered shots for free which was a kind gesture I would recommend this restaurant to everyone

This is my favourite branch of Bella. The food is as good as you would expect (rigatoni followed by affogato today). What raises this Bella above others for me is the particularly excellent staff. My server this evening (Kayleigh) was absolutely terrific and she is most definitely an asset to this branch.

my partner and i booked a table at this establishment for our anniversary/ birthday , my partner has allergens and tried to explain this to the waiter i was given a menu so was my partner we both tried to explain what her allergens are. Then the waiter rushed her decision after telling her what she could and couldn't eat he didn't give her a choice on what she could eat. he abruptly came back to the table more than once to keep telling her that she couldn't have her first choice then second choice, we was NOT offered an alternative to what she could have. this made my partner very upset to the point he brought her to tears which spoilt the occasion.

Every visit, without a doubt we have quick, friendly service. We're always welcomed with a warm smile. We get our food quick, and hot (and to excellent standards). The place is always ever so cosy, with top notch cleanliness. The payment process is quick and the pricing is amazing for what we order. It was our anniversary, and when we were seated into a booth the man seating us said 'a little birdy told me you should look at that card'. It was a congratulations note with a complimentary prosecco or desert. It absolutely made our evening!

Really really good experience. Food was superb, our waitress Geia? was fantastic. Friendly and efficient, she brought dishes for eight people and placed the correct one in front of each diner without having to ask who had ordered what. She is an asset to any hospitality venue.

I ate at Bella Italia, Leeds Briggate with a friend on Saturday to celebrate my Birthday and from the moment I walked in this was a terrible experience. While the food was of the expected standard I was certainly unimpressed by the service, which is a shame as previously the service at this location has been solid. I just wish I had noted the name of the chap who served us so I could provide this to local Management as I doubt I'll be going back here anytime soon.

Rich and everyone a part of the team on Thursday evening for my graduation dinner were amazing!

18th June 2024 had an amazing meal with great service from our server Richard.

Prices almost doubled over the last years. Outside is like a scene from the film Zulu. A large group of loud and menacing men on electric scooters. An unpleasant area.

Gaia was the perfect waitress. So helpful, lovely, friendly, and chatty. Couldnt have asked for any more- she was fantastic!

Very good review because the treatment has been excellent, Mel has treated us very well and has been very nice to us, very close and I wish all the waiters were like her, the food has also been excellent, thank you very much :).

Always good for a quick lunch in town. There was one lady running the entire front of house at the time and she was doing an incredible job!

Went in for Lunch before seeing a relative at the LGI. The waitress was really nice and was assuring my grandma about dishes that contained garlic as she doesn't like it to smell. My aunt and grandma got a lasagne and my uncle got a pasta dish with mushrooms. I however had my first ever burger in years as I went off them for a while. I will tell you now that it didn't disappoint ! It was perfectly juicy and cheesy and also really filling. If you want lunch in Leeds, I'd highly recommend this Bella Italia !

This is mine and my grandsons go to restraunt , today was just as good as always, lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food, the guy who served us Ruben was lovely, he was kind and polite and took time to chat with us. Highly recommend this place . 10/10

Had a brilliant meal at Bella Italia, we enjoyed it so much we booked for the following evening. The food was very good & the service was excellent. Ruben & his team really looked after us. There was a good variety on the menu for both of us, i am a Vegetarian. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Went with my sister for a meal for her birthday had a lovely meal that was very tasty. I had spaghetti bolognaise and my sister had spaghetti meatballs followed by sticky toffee pudding with ice cream and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The service we got was brilliant nothing was too much trouble very attentive. Would definitely go again and highly recommend.

Mel was extremely friendly even though we came in very late on. She explained the menu, took our order and never made us feel rushed. Very friendly, bubbly and helpful.

Went for lunch with my daughter, unfortunately there definitely wasn't enough staff in and the few members were all absolutely rushed off thier feet, meaning that getting a member of staffs attention was difficult. From asking for the bill, we sat for 45 mins, I asked 3 separate times during the wait before finally one managed to bring it over. No fault of the staff as you could see how stressed they were.

We hadn’t been for about 8 years due to ill health. We were greeted by a friend Richard who had served for many years. It was my 78th Birthday. The meal was great. But seeing Richard was the best. Hope to go again soon, Thank you Richard for your friendship . Marie and David.

The starter, dough balls, were undercooked, the main course, pasta, was cold, lacked any sort of flavor and was labelled as "spicy sausage", which was inedible. This is my first experience here, and I am extremely disappointed with both. I ordered a burger for my partner, which was extremely dry. The bun was hard. As a result of the already poor experience, I did not wish to bother with dessert. Staff were friendly and the service was speedy, it’s unfortunate the food was so disappointing.

Mel, what can I say? You're excellent and an asset to the brand. You don't stop and your work ethic should be highly commended. You deserve a pay rise! Starters were excellent, mains were delicious and the ice cream / gelato is out of this world. The bolognaise loaded fries are a great side, too. Washed down with a pint of Stella that was cheaper than the pub it made for a great all round experience! Mel - we were the ones who you made the lemon shot things for and I was the one who had both! 3 courses for £21 is worth it! I really hope to return one day & highly recommend the establishment.

I was with a large group of 9 people who ordered a variety of different dishes from Lasagne to ribs, everything was hot and tasty everyone enjoyed their meals.
